(Before speech) Most of you + mention of Sir Nicholas Henric grinned towards Ava,"Hey there Chelsea McBlue fan. Of course, I'll never forget it...only you out of all the FIFA football gamers out there managed to defeat me in that one match,me...the one and extraordinary KebabBoi90210(Game ID username). I'm not going easy on you next time, Ava,"he teased. Henric really did underestimate the first year. Nope...no more of that. He was just as competitive as her so GAME ON. Oh right, he promised he would have a one-on-one match with her in basketball. "Did you bring the hoops and the basketball?"he asked her. And then there was Zander waving back at him."Hey mate, how was your summer?"he asked with a smile. Henric hadn't have a chance to know him well, but wasn't he and Sophie Brown got a thing for each other. Rumours and all. Headboy and headgirl a couple, huh? Interesting.... "Hi Rissa, hope you had a fun holiday in New Zealand? How was it?"he asked, smiling at the shy older student. Henric remembered bumping into her at the bookstore, accidentally of course. He also helped her to find a travel book for her too. Henric rolled his eyes at Candice,"Yeah you...am I referring to a ghost?" Oops. He quickly turned to Sir Nicholas, he wasn't implying him at all...no he wasn't mean! "Sorry...slip of my tongue...uhh...really nice to see you again Sir Nick!" Fuu....rectify that. Henric faced back at her again as he patted Adi's back,"Don't mind her Adi, she just jealous of our badger brilliancy and our great looks." Henric chuckled deeply. He noticed another girl who was newly sorted as well (Noelle) "Hello there,my name is Henric...congrats for making Gryffindor," he greeted with a welcoming grin. |

She was not looking forward to winter. She nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Classes really get in the way of other things." Like dance practice. Plus, classes generate homework with just exponentially grows the amount of time she spends on school work. "At least there's not those exams this year." That was really the only plus side she could think of at the moment. She fell quiet while the feast was going on. Camps? "What do you think that's about?" she asked dishing herself up some food. "Do you think we'll have an actual camp?" She liked the idea of a campfire and being outside under the stars. |
Text Cut: Keane Dora GRINNED WIDELY as Keane said he was glad she was there, too. OMG SOMEONE WAS GLAD SHE WAS THERE?! Heheheh. And I mean, whatever. She would keep calm about it... or just bounce in her seat slightly. Yes. That was what she would do. BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE. Dora looked over the other people's heads and pointed to Sabel. "The young one. With the dimples. He's my favorite. "And she was TOTALLY going to be HIS favorite too. Or her Daddy would not be happy. Text Cut: Noelle Dora had let her eyes move down the table as the Headmaster spoke, but she lingered on Sabel mostly. A dueling club? HMMMMM. She wondered if first years would be allowed, considering they didn't know defense spells yet... most of them anyway. Heh. Nodding happened as Noelle spoke of how exciting everything was. IT WAS EXCITING. "I want to do dueling club. That other stuff sounded like a snoozefest. " Really she just wanted to blow stuff up... |
Yoongi, Marsha, Adi, Blair, Bentley, Zeke, Zander, Candice, Henric O__O and SPEECH! Tall Ava? She's not dumb, okay? She wasn't that tall so she was sure that this Yoongi dude was mocking on her. "Could you just call me Ava? No little or tall addition in front of that. Just Ava, that works better for me." The brunette girl said. Oh wait, he was also one of the rescuing team with Jackson too? "Really? I knew that story. That Jackson dude told me when we met once." Zhenny didn't tell her the details of the acromantula attack so she got that one from a sixth year Gryffindor whom she just met at Diagon Alley. "Guess you're lucky that the acromantulas didn't take you." She turned into Marsha. "Nice to meet you, Marsha. I'm Ava." She grinned. "You seemed a little bit sad, are you not really happy with the feast?" She wondered. And also, Ava found that it was quite strange. Everybody seemed very happy to go back to Hogwarts. Was it related to anything that happened last year? "Yes, I'm a first year too." She answered Blair. So many Gryffindors first years, and she hoped that Blair was nice so they could be friends. Hehehe. Speaking of photo, she asked Bentley. "Can I have one copy of the pic? Also I want those pics from the boat too." He did take LOTS of pictures when they were at the boat. Yups! Adi was right. "Teddy? He's there." She pointed to the Ravenclaw table. "We're not in a same house. Well, it's not a big deal. I already predicted that before." Though she was slightly sad. For eleven years, this was the first time they were separated. Yeah, no more mocking Teddy and his book collections, no more dragging him to play outside. Well, she got new friends now and maybe she still could see him like... meal time or after class, right? Ava couldn't help but chuckle when the Puff prefect got her prank. "You just realized that? Better to double check next time, Mr. Puff prefect." Hehehehe. But apparently the Head Boy seemed not very amused with the trick gum "Oops sorry, I think I offered you the wrong gum." She tried not to chuckle because Zander's reaction was so..... EPIC. HEHEHEHE. She high-five'd Zeke. But slightly pouted when he called her Little Burton. "I appreciate more if you didn't call me that." Nope. No little Burton, No little Ava or whatever. Her brother? Oh, she did tell Candice about Teddy. "Ravenclaw." She answered. "Gryffindor just doesn't suit him." Ravenclaw did suit him. Good luck with that, Brother. KebabBoi90210? LOL, that's a hilarious nickname, Henric! "Well, just admit that I am better in FIFA than you, and hopefully I'm gonna kick your butt next in 1 on 1 basketball challenge," Basketball was her thing, okay? There's NO WAY that Ava Burton could lose on this game. "I only get the ball, no hoops. You said that you're gonna work on that. Maybe we can ask the Transfiguration professor?" She eyed the white-haired lady who sat at the rightest side of staff table. She's the Transfiguration professor, right? And... SPEECH! Woah, A dueling club?? Ava really wanted to join!!! But... Well, she was just first year. Could she join? And a camp? It did sound fun for her. Let's see if she could survive her VERY first year at Hogwarts. Finishing with the speech, Ava then grabbed some food. YUM! |

"I'm always ready, Grimm." Damien said, turning his attention back to his fellow Gryffindor, he found himself wondering if food got stuck in that beard, which lead to him wondering if he could stick something to Nemo's beard without him noticing. Challenge accepted. He'd have to wait for the food, though. "I've got an idea, not an adventure, though, I'm over that after last year in the chamber." Damien said, his lips pulling into a rueful half grin. His leg still hurt when there was a storm out, it was a little, unpleasant reminder of what he'd gotten into. ".... Have you seen Rorie?" He couldn't help asking. |
Lol it's not like a full beard, like 5 o'clock shadow SPOILER!!: Damien Nemo had noticed his friend's wandering eyes, He wished he himself had high hopes of seeming someone here. But Whyttyr had graduated and was living at his house, waiting for him. "Good, i need a partner in crime this term." With no Whyttyr and no Rorie he hoped they'd have more time to just hang out and be bros. His own blue eyes looked around at the different tables. it was a different place now.. Whytty was gone, Eden.. there were new teachers and hopefully nothing too terrible happened this term. But who wouldn't wanna say 'Hey, i graduated the term the entire school went mad!' Not that it wouldn't be too vague. "So what's your idea? I'm curious." He grinned, mischief on his face and in his eyes. Nemo had never been one for trouble. But he had a thirst for this now, maybe it had to do with him settling down with Whyttyr soon, or maybe it was just that he was a seventeen-year-old Gryffindor. "She's...not here, Mate.. you didn't know?" |
*haz no brains for the replies BUT WE'RE MOVING* After he made his way back from the other House's table, Zander Adair sat down to eat. Finally. And he wasn't going to stop for anybody because this boy was hungry. And he was growing, okay? That had to count for something. A growing man. He NEEDED the foodz. All the foodz he could get really, so don't mind him just stuffing his face with chicken and potatoes and whatever else he could reach and grab for. Because he knew what was coming next... And it involved getting up and leaving all the precious food. Nooooooo. Don't worry, dearest chicken leg, Zander will be back for you. But apparently he's got duties to fulfill or whatever. So uh, "Alright, Gryffindors, follow me to the Common Room," Zander wasn't sure whether Puck wanted to join him at the front, or whether she'd just follow up in the rear. But this Gryffindor was getting up from the table and gathering a crowd. TO THE COMMON ROOOOOOM! |
*sorry it's late* Quote:
New AND unfamiliar, two things Reagans were into. ...and she'd been excited to properly explain about the two trees and how helpful their natural resources were...when the speech began. As a hush fell over the room, all her attention went towards the staff table. Oh! Professor Botros! Reagan remembered him; a very kindly, lovely older gentleman. As for his speech, it was filling in most of the blanks. Paul Myers had been introduced as the new Herbology professor and Rea memorized his face, SET on traveling to his office at the earliest convenience. Ahem, future BFF! Feeling further excitement from the remainder of the announcements, save for Dueling Club - Violence? Why? - that's when it happened. ...The food arrived. ...which meant it was her cue to excuse herself. Gripping Iselin's hand once more, Rea offered the Gryffindor another warm smile. "Can we catch up later? I need to go with the Ravenclaws..." It was a personal choice...and she'd never say anything ugly about those who did choose to eat meat, but it made her feel a little sick. Just the sight...was a little much for her to handle. |
SPOILER!!: Adi Dude got it? Good. Awesome. As for cheering him on now... heh. Zeke grinned. "You'll always have my support, so long as it's not against us," he mused. House before former-adversaries? Yeah, something like that. It was a thing. He was MAKING it a thing. "Not sure how often I'll get around to watching." It really depended on what all he was up to, and potentially other parties that were involved. SPOILER!!: Zander and Ava Zander did NOT look impressed, or was he? It was hard to tell, but Zeke couldn't help but snort as he attempted to contain his amusement. The dude got made, but he wasn't alone. "I fell for it too, if it makes you feel any better," he shared. There was no shame in it, no harm either, it was all good fun. Little Burton really was quite something, raising his hand to meet hers in the high-five, Zeke grinned. Aaaaaaawwwww! She didn't like Little Burton?! "Tough cookies, unless I can think of anything better, it's all you're getting." She'd learn to love it. SPOILER!!: Kaycee It was a deal then... and he was looking forward to sinking into its plushness. It was good to be home. Classes really were the worst, and it was killing him that he couldn't drop HoM yet, the subject would be the death of him. At the mention of exams though, he couldn't help but release a sigh of relief. "Ordinary Wizarding Levels... don't I know it." He wasn't under tremendous pressure to do well and get straight O's, but he knew he had to do well enough to leave himself with 'options', whatever that really meant. Turning his attention away from Kaycee and to the staff table, Zeke listened with mild interest as Professor Botros (or was it Headmaster Botros now?) made introductions regarding new staff. Neat. Or whatever. BUT... what REALLY got his attention, was all this talk about unity and camps and THINGS. He exchanged a look with Kaycee. She raised two very good questions. What did he mean by 'camps'? "I... don't know," he admitted. "Camping in the grounds doesn't sound all that exciting, but the forest isn't an option." Excursion maybe? But for them ALL to leave the school would be ridiculous. Wouldn't it? |

It was kind of crazy to think that A) Nemo was going to be getting married and B) that the two of them were graduating this term. Graduating. Graduating Damien felt restless, fearful and excited all at once at the thought and it was only the beginning of term, merlin knew it would only get worst. "Oh, you'll see." Damien said, smirking away, not at all in a hurry to share his little idea, oh no, this was something he was planning to work out in secret, thank you, very much. "You'll have to wait and see, Nemo." He added, grabbing a goblet full of cold water and taking a deep drink. ....... The words hit him square in the chest with the same force of a baseball going 95 mph. He froze, his features set in shock as his mind absorbed the information as quickly as it could. She wasn't here, she hadn't come back, Rorie Hazelwood had left the building. What the hell. Who just suddenly drops out without warning? Without telling "I- I gotta go-" Damien said, not even glancing back at Nemo as he took off, out the hall and up, up, up. He needed to send a letter. |
