Corridor to Headmaster's Office

Take a turn from the second floor corridor to enter this short corridor that leads to the Stone Gargoyle, the headmaster's office's entrance. On one side of the corridor line large domed windows overlooking the school's courtyard, their sills are wide enough for people to take a seat if they wished.

On the walls of this corridors are faint runes marks, but only the excellent students could detect runes from random old marks on the wall.

With his Crup, Feo, by his side, Botros was sing-whistling his way up to his office. He'd had no classes today so he would sit and do some work with a nice, hot cup of tea. When he made it to the corridor that led to his Stone Gargoyle, it felt rather gloomy and... empty? Well. Good.

Still whistling he raised his wand and conjured a fairly large sign:

There. He grinned and tapped the floor with his wand. That should make for a fun journey up to the broody stone statue.

Yes, Davie was humming quietly, very quietly, under his breath as he sneaked down the corridor with Charlotte. Upon seeing the Headmaster's sign about his shoes, he signaled to her and silently slipped his off, then left them there to continue creeping along in his socks. They had to be like assassins, sneaking up to the Headmaster's gargoyle as it was.

As they neared a corner, Davie slowed to a stop and peeked around it to check that no one was coming. Good, the coast was clear. He signaled Charlotte to go ahead of him, lead the way, and he'd watch her six. You know and all that.

Tiptoeing, Charlotte was being quiet, honest, it was just that in her head there was a theme song for their mission. Their impossible mission. At the signal she slipped her shoes off too. Important because as they had discovered on their last attempt, your feet would criss cross if you didn't switch your shoes, but taking them off entirely was a great way of getting around it.

She was a good sneaker, she thought. Hair in pigtails (with purple hair ribbons), dressed in black (aside from thick and fuzzy purple and white striped socks), she thought she looked like a pretty good sneaker too.

And she LIKED leading the way so of COURSE once they got to the corner she led the way, skidding on her socked feet just slightly before resuming the over the top tip toeing.

This was it. They were going to FIX things. They were going to make things RIGHT. Her and her bestie.
