Slytherin Girls Dorms Slytherin Girls Dorms http://i820.photobucket.com/albums/z...eGirlsDorm.jpg Down the long corridor to the right are the girls' dorm rooms. Torches light the way allowing you to see the many portraits of Slytherin alumni lining the walls. You'll want to be careful what you say or do here as these portraits aren't here just for the decor. There is a dorm room for each year of the house. Students, you will find many four poster beds, all draped with green curtains. Be sure to stake your claim on the bed you want before someone else gets to it first. Be aware, this Dorm is for Slytherin GIRLS ONLY. Each room has a charm placed on it that will alert Healer Murdoch should any boys TRY to enter these rooms. Consider this your warning. Any boys caught trying to get in here WILL face the wrath of Healer Murdoch. |
After a long day of classes, Jenna was ready to relax in her dorm for a bit. There was homework to do, of course, but she could do most of it later. No need to rush into it - her best work was done after winding down a bit after all. Too much stress and concentration wasn't really good in the long run. Entering her dorm, it seemed she was the first one here too, so it was the perfect time to write and relax. She pulled her notebook and pencil out of her bag, plopped down on her bed, and began writing. |
After walking the corridors of the castle nearly all day long and then her talk with Zeke, Hady was more then happy to return to the dorm. Opening the door and slipping inside she shut the door behind her with a soft click. It had been a long day but a much needed one none the less. Now all she wanted to do was lay down and do nothing...unless one of her dorm mates felt like talking then maybe she'd do that. Sparing her dorm mate a quick glance and a small nod of her head in greeting the third year walked to her own bed and promptly flopped down on her back. Before she was even able to get comfortable Hagan her kitty had leapt up onto the bed and crawled onto her stomach laying there. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she silently rubbed the spot between Hagan's ears causing him to purr. At least she always knew what to expect when with her cat. |
Hello you two! <3 Maggie was RUNNING. Running to her dorm, hoping to at least find Hady there. Ah, yes, good there she was. "I need a Halloween costume!!!" Yes! THAT. Was urgent. Because Halloween was almost upon them and Magdalena Natalie Traulton had NO idea what to wear. So she needed help. Yes. And while she'd been shouting at Hady, she noticed that that other girl was in the dorm too. Just as well. "YOU TOO!" She dramatically flailed in Jenna's general direction. HELP! :whaa: |
SPOILER!!: Maggie And there went the quiet. One second her eyes had been shut and she was very much in a near state of relaxation. The next her eyes shot open and she was staring at the girl whom just literally ran into the dorm! It took Hady barely a second to know who it was by just the voice alone and for a brief moment she almost choose to roll over and go to sleep. However the thought was quickly banished upon the realization that there was still a cat laying on her chest. Said cat refused to move not even the yelling of the other girl having scared him off. So letting out a low sigh the third year shifted her gaze onto her fellow dorm mate. "Um then come up with one?" Came the simple reply of a now yawning Hady whom was at least polite enough with her manners to cover her mouth as she did so. She was much to tired for all the yelling going on and right now Halloween was the furthest thing from her mind. |
Jenna glanced up from her journal when she heard someone enter and returned the nod Hady greeted her with. It didn't seem like she was expecting a conversation right now, which was nice, so she returned to her writing, enjoying the quiet of the dorm... ...until someone - Maggie - burst into the dorm shouting about a Halloween costume. Um, what? Students did that here? Jenna blinked a couple times at her flailing dormmate, casting a glance over at Hady when she responded. "Is there some kinda party here that requires one?" she asked, looking back at Maggie. "Or is this just for fun?" And did this mean she had to get one too, or was this just a thing Maggie liked to do? |
Really? REALLY???????? The expression on her face clearly read that too. Really?? She came in here looking for much needed HELP and the two girls just asked their own questions. Like, excuse you. This was about HER not them. ?????????? However, she'd learned over the past few years that sometimes it paid off to be a little diplomatic sometimes. Which was why Maggie pointed at Jenna again - ignoring Hady because her contribution was 100% UNhelpful - and said, "If I answer that will you help me find the perfect costume?" Yes? Good. "There's this party......." She'd lowered her voice slightly while walking over to Jenna. This was a SECRET. Ish. |
Suppressing the urge to roll her eyes at the fact that she was ignored by Maggie, Hady easily turned her attention to relaxing once more. She came running in here flailing about screaming their help not bothering to take notice to anything else and she was going to act that way. Fine by Hady she didn't really care and wasn't at all fussed by it. Moving an arm under her head she shut her eyes taking small even breaths letting herself relax some. Her free hand wandered back to the top of Hagan's head where she gently scratched between the cats ears earning herself a delighted purr. |
Jenna didn't understand what that look was for - they weren't walking costume-idea-givers, so obviously they needed some context. And Maggie hadn't even technically asked that they give her ideas, she'd just But then Maggie finally answered, and both eyebrows were raised a little because now Jenna was curious. She closed her notebook and pushed herself up into a sitting position to face both Maggie and Hady. "A party for everyone?" she asked, not really lowering her voice too much since it was just the three of them in the room. "And d'you have any ideas for costumes you don't want to wear?" Because that seemed like a good place to start. There was no need to give suggestions that she knew she wouldn't like or didn't have the materials for. That'd be a waste of time |
Maggie sent a quick glare in Hady's general direction when the other girl in turn ignored HER. Pfft. Rude. But she clearly had Jenna's attention now which was HIGHLY appreciated. Maggie swiftly moved over to sit on Jenna's bed, nodding. "Well, not for everyone-" Pause for dramatic effect. "Only for those invited you know." Yes. And...obviously...she had been PERSONALLY invited. Wasn't she just the coolest? A costume she didn't want to wear? "Well, I can obviously pull of any sort of costume." Obviously. "But...I don't know. I want it to go with my...personality." Yes. That. "What are YOU going to wear?" |
Completely ignoring the glare she got sent her way Hady was more then glad she knew how to keep her cool and not always let things get to her. Seriously though to her she'd done nothing wrong so the looks and attitude she was receiving were uncalled for. Whatever though, they could do as they please. Shifting slightly she reached over to the small nightstand beside her bed and pulled open the top drawer to remove a small charmed locked box. With a muttered incantation it snapped open so she could remove the two-way mirror she had inside. Snapping the box closed she placed it on the nightstand and set the mirror face up beside her, her eyes keeping an eye on it as she went back to putting Hagan. |
Jenna was immensely confused by the amount of glaring and sudden tension between Maggie and Hady now. All this over a question about Halloween costumes, of all things? Really? But the party was only for those invited, which probably explained why Jenna hadn't heard of it until now. "So we're invited now too then?" Would be pretty lame if she was only telling them about it without actually inviting them too after all. Clearly wouldn't be much of a party without them - not that Jenna had ever actually been to one before...at least, not if birthday parties didn't count. As for going with her personality, Jenna still wasn't sure what costume to actually suggest. What even fit with that kind of criteria? "I haven't actually thought about it..." Her own costume, that is. She hadn't expected there to be anything at Hogwarts with them, so she hadn't brought much of anything that was really a costume. "Any ideas, Hady?" She'd been awfully silent over there after all. Maybe she was thinking of ideas? |
Lightly tapping Hagan's paw when he swatted at the mirror Hady let out a small sigh. Where was Jaxon, he was supposed to be contacting her today. Her eyes didn't leave the mirror as she heard her name. At first she didn't reply but it wasn't due to her being rude just simply because she hadn't been sure what had been asked of her. "Hm? O-oh um well no not exactly. I would suppose it depends on what you like and what your tastes are." She answered giving a half shrug while glancing at th over her shoulder. Rolling back onto her back made it easier to see her dorm mates and laying the mirror on her chest let her know if Jaxon showed up. "Everyone has a different style for what they like." Her though, yeah who knows. Normally she decided on something last minute. |
