Luggage Compartment The Hogwarts Express DOES have a place for all your things, you know, so you don't have to drag them into an already-crowded compartment. Store your school trunk, your broom, your owl, and whatever else you brought with you to school in this, the caboose of the train. |
Evie pulled the trunk her mother had bought her into the luggage compartment, it was still rather empty since the train had just pulled into the station. She wondered how it came though Kings Cross Station, if it had it's own platform. She quickly stored the trunk against one of the walls and walked back out of the compartment. Her goal was to stay out of peoples way because it looked like everyone already had friends. |
Abby made her way into the luggage compartment and struggled still to lift her trunk onto one of the shelves but she managed to get it up there and stored her owl cage and owl on the shelf as well and made her way up the train to find an empty compartment |
open What was going on in here? There were things on the floor, some poor kid’s robe was haphazardly sticking out of their trunk like it had been packed by a tornado of a girl. “Dreadful” she muttered to herself as she quickly righted the things, even opening said trunk and shoving the clothing back inside. No one wanted their…things to end up in someone else’s possession. “that’s better” she muttered and quickly thrust the clothing back into the trunk labled simply E. Cavendish. Seriously, she was going to have to chat with Liz about putting her things away better. If the term had started on a whirlwind it would end with a hurricane. Thrusting her own trunks into one of the neat pile was all Puck could think of doing right now. She really didn’t want to go into the Prefect’s compartment just yet. But she would, later. After food? And maybe finding friends to talk to? |
Having arrived at the platform later then planned with her father Hady hadn't had any time to search for any of her friends. It wasn't really either of their fault that they were running late, it happens sometimes when people talk about serious things. At least she was here now. Within moments the train had arrived and it was time to get moving. "Bye!" She called out over her shoulder as she pulled her trunk towards the luggage compartment, Hagan tucked nicely against her body as he was cradled in her free arm. There wasn't much more to say to her father then that as everything that had to be said was done before they had even arrived. There wasn't time to be angry or upset or anything she might have been feeling at the moment. Her thoughts could wait until later. Entering the luggage compartment the small girls gaze swept around the area quickly. Finding an empty spot off to the side she brought her trunk over and carefully tucked it neatly into place. Perfect. No need to worry about her owl this year as she choose to leave Riddick home with her parents. With that done it was time to go find an empty compartment. Shifting her backpack over her shoulder and adjusting her cat in her arms she headed off through the train. |
for Mischief Managed & Pen ^_^ Of course the sensible thing to do would be to stash one's luggage before they went hunting for their friends. Adi did just that but he made sure to keep Guster with him. Speaking of the toady, this time he was perched on his owner's left shoulder, croaking softly away. Anywhoooo, his trunk was now neatly stowed away. It was not time to find his friends, which shouldn't be too hard considering he had SO many. Hehe. Ah, it was good to be back! |
For Adi! Thunk! That was all that was heard as Seth trunk landed on his foot, wanting to say a few choices of bad words, but he didn't due to youngsters being around. So... instead, he just sung a nice lovely song to himself to not think about the pain in his foot. 'Great now going to be limping like a old man without it cane! ' Seth thought to himself as he strapped his trunk in. His owl Icicle on his shoulder ruffed her wings in annoyance at the sound. Sorry Icicle, didn't mean to scare you girl! "said Seth petting his snowy white owl. Seth looked around seeing the Prefect from Hufflepuff and Gryffindor were here, Seth raised his eyebrows. 'Patrolling already? Dang they work quickly , or else they're tired of being Prefect, the only thing great about it you don't get in trouble for being out past curfew! "Seth thought to himself. |
SPOILER!!: Seth! ^_^ "You're awfully croaky today, Guster,'' Adi commented, turning his head slightly so that his cheek bumped against Gus's rough skin. "You seem to be more excited than I am.'' He didn't blame Gus for that. The toady probably loved Hogwarts as much as his owner did. Gus could always be found hopping around some where in the Castle. Adi was about to leave when he heard someone speaking. He looked around to see a guy talking to an owl. Icicle? What an interesting name for an owl. Why not tell the guy what he thought? Adi being Adi would not usually keep his thoughts to himself. "Hey! That's a cool and interesting name for an owl.'' Also, he had not missed the raised eyebrows look he had been getting. |
Eden. ^_^ UGHHHH. Why was her trunk so heavy?? Lux had difficulty lugging it through Kings Cross and onto the train, so she was glad to be rid of it now. Slowly and carefully she positioned it so that her name label was on display and Luna wasn't disturbed. She loved her snowy owl and didn't want anything bad to happen to her. "Okay, Luna. You know the drill." Smiling, Lux reached into the bars of the cage and petted Luna before giving her some of the treats she had in her pocket. |

"Hey...is your owl new? Did you just get her?" Eden asked softly, doing her best not to be sad but faaaaaailing miserably, probably. "She's very pretty--" Eden said as she approached. "Aren't you, girl?" and she smiled slightly didn't touch the bird, but she did get on the cage's level and just waved slightly. Owls were so much different than snakes... |

"Hey there! This is Luna, and I've had her since I was a Second Year." Lux loved her little snowy owl. "You can pet her if you want. She's friendly and in a good mood because she just got some treats." They sure loved them. Maybe they were the owl version of Chocolate Frogs or something. Smiling at her friend, she noticed that something seemed off. "You okay, Eden?" |
