Continued... Lux Damien had offered Lux his arm and after some cautious walking they had made it to the waiting room. Both were not in the best shape and Damien was feeling guiltier than that time he'd stolen Maggie Arson's Batman action figure in grade school. "You think it's broken? It feels broken." Damien said, grimacing with the pain. He sat down and bit his lip his eyes downcast. "Sorry.... " He said again, probably for the hundredth time, but he just felt really, really, bad. Lux was one of his first friends at the school and now she was all bloody and bruised because of him. How lame. |
Honestly Lux had been hoping never to step foot in the Hospital Ward again. Not because she had a problem with the Healer, but because it wasn't exactly the happiest place. Being here meant you were either injured/sick or visiting someone who was injured/sick...say for example her boyfriend who had almost DIED the term before last. Taking a seat in the waiting area, Lux really wished her Lion was here. She missed him so much, and he always made her feel better. He'd definitely be really worried about her when she told him what happened. So wrapped up in her thoughts, she completely forgot about Damien for the moment. It was nothing personal. |
Lux and Damien Not even a week into term and already there were students in the infirmary with injuries. "Damien, Lux, you can both come back now." And yes, she was putting them in the same room. She wanted to hear from both of them what exactly happened. Healer Murdoch then lead the way back to Room 1. OOC: Both of you go ahead and post in Room 1 |
*just hangs head in shame* ONLY because he needed to pass by his office to get to the Hospital Wing, Airey had quickly ducked inside to snatch Pebbles from her pink pillow and thus disturbing her afternoon nap. He had tucked the pet rock under his left arm while he continued to clutch his finger - still wrapped in the crumbled up piece of parchment given to him by Miss Neverwinter - and was panting as though he had just run a marathon when he finally arrived. Flopping dramatically into one of the vacant chairs, he proceeded to moan, quietly, while he waited for Cecelia to save his humble life. "I'm glad you're here with me, Pebbles," he said, nuzzling the pet rock against his cheek. |

SPOILER!!: Flamsteed and Penelope Healer Murdoch was getting ready to head back to her office to have some lunch when she heard the bell alerting her that someone was signing in. Abandoning the thought of food she went to look at the sign in book. Oh for the love of Merlin. Could Flamsteed be any more dramatic about why he was there? Honestly, if Cece didn't know he was a grown man, she would think he was no more than a child signing in to be seen. And then there was Penelope. Cece was starting to think that girl couldn't make it through a week without coming to the infirmary for some sort of ache or pain. Taking a deep breath Cece went out to the waiting room to see just how close Airey was to death. "Professor Flamsteed," she greeted the man as she held back a laugh. One look at him and it was clear he was not about to die, and he did not have rabies. Of course that didn't mean she wasn't going to treat him as the dying man he thought he was. "I fear we better get you back to a bed now, before it's too late." As she held out her hand to the man to help him up, she looked over at Penelope. "You go ahead and head back to room three and lay down. I'm sure you'll be just fine after you rest a little." Now to get the astronut back to his room. "Come on Flamsteed, let's go. Don't want you out here contaminating anyone now do we." |
you two <3 excuse him :| I'll post in the room later :3 Slouching further in his seat so his bum was just barely on the chair, he saluted feebly towards Miss Wright as she arrived. "Hello...Miss Wright," he replied while pathetically wheezing. Totally and completely unnecessary, but try telling that to the overly dramatic Astronomy professor. And then she arrived. His reluctant savior had arrived! Sliding completely out of his chair not, he literally crawled over towards Cecelia in complete kowtow towards the woman. HE WAS GOING TO LIIIIIII--- "WHAT?!" he shrieked, deflating into the ground with his nose against it. HE WAS DOOMED! HE KNEW IT! KNEEEEEEEEEEEEW IT! Lifting himself to crawling position, the man began to make his way towards his assigned bed. |
The walk to the hospital wing was a little bit awkward? Because he'd literally just met the girl and less than an hour later he was holding his shoulder and heading to the healer together. Oh, well. And at least he knew her name, else it'd have been more awkward. Or maybe it wasn't, it could be just him since he lacked social abilities. But he did manage to throw in a comment or two on their way here as to not remain completely silent. Although, his shoulder had really started to hurt by now. But he tried to not let it show. So, finally at the waiting room. Dante chose the closest seat to the door and settled in. "Thanks for coming with me," Pause. "...Evie," She didn't have to. Unless she had reasons like gloating or something. But then again he probably would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed. Lightly, Dante rested his hand on his left shoulder. Ouch, it hurt. *wince* |

But she also was concerned about Dante, really. "I wouldn't have let you go alone." She peered over at him when he touched his shoulder and winced. She frowned a little. "Does it hurt more?" |
*With the help of Daisy Noah FINALLY got to the hospital wing. With his arm still around the girls shoulder Noah hobbled over to a chair. It was a good thing that they had made it to the hospital wing, any further and Noah was sure that he would have passed out.* "Finally! Those stairs-... gah..." |
Text Cut: noah Merlin’s pants, sandals, and hat! How long had it taken them to get to the hospital ward? Daisy had had to fight the instinct four times to just toss Noah over her shoulder and get on with it! But while she was irritated by the time it took to get him to the ward, it wasn’t her leg and her pain threshold being pushed to the max. Boys! “Thank goodness,” she said pushing open the door with a hand. Noah’s fingers were digging painfully into her shoulder and she felt like she was dragging him more than helping him walk. “We would have been here an hour ago if you hadn’t been such a pansy and let me carry you.” She chided. She deposited Noah into the first open seat available glad to be free of the metaphorical albatross around her neck. “Now, where was that sign in sheet?” She asked rubbing her neck. She was certain she’d have a bruise there later. "Ah there -" She grabbed the sing in sheet and shoved it into Noah's hands. |
*Slumping down in a seat he started to see spots. While that was happening his listened to Daisy go on about how her way was better and blah blah blah. Normally he would argue with her but he was too tired to do that right now. Soon the sign in sheet was in his hands. Filling it out he handed it back Daisy.* "Have I told you how-... Much of a-... Comfort you have been to me... In this-" *Noah couldn't help but smile as his eyes closed. When it all came down to it he was thankful for the girls help.* |
Different timelines Healer Murdoch had just returned from her office only to find a couple of students (Dante and Evangeline) sitting in the waiting room. After looking at the sign in sheet she called the injured student back. "Dante, follow me please." His friend could just wait out here for now. OOC: Go ahead and post here. Unless your boy has anything to say before he heads back to the room. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Upon hearing voices in the waiting area, Healer Murdoch emerged from the back area to find... HOLY MERLIN! "WHAT happened to him?" (Noah). Cece asked the girl (Daisy) sitting there with the boy that looked like he was dead. The boy who happened to be one of her snakes. "Never mind," she said abruptly. "I need to get him back to a bed now, before he..." Well before nothing. She was not about to let a student die on her. Especially not a Slytherin student. She took her wand out and pointed it at Noah. "Noah, I'm going to levitate you back to a bed now." She didn't want to just move him without warming him first. It wouldn't be good if he tried fighting her on this either. There was no way she was going to let him walk. Not in his condition. |
Text Cut: Noah and Healer Murdoch Was that a compliment coming from Noah? Song of a Banshee, he must have lost a lot of blood. Where was the healer? She took the sign in sheet from him and finished filling it out (well, to the best of her knowledge. It wasn’t like she and Noah were best friends) “Nooooahhh,” Daisy poked him with the quil. “Don’t go to sleep. If you do I’ll smack you. And you know how much I’ll enjoy that.” Thankfully, the healer showed up just then. “He fell out of a tree,” Daisy said responding to Healer Murdoch’s question. “And wouldn’t let me carry him up here. I did my best to splint it and stop the bleeding.” She motioned to her make-shift first aid, which was a branch lashed to the boy’s leg with some back-pack straps she’d ripped off. Her jumper was pressed against the gash. She wasn’t sure if the healer was listening as she levitated Noah back to a bed. Mmm…levitation charms. She’d have to look into learning those. They looked mighty handy. In the meantime, she took a seat to wait and see if she was needed for anything else. |

Yeah, it had definitely started hurting more. He could feel his pulse in it and it was not a pleasant feeling. "Yeah, if I move it," There was no point in lying since it was very obvious that he was in pain. Quote:
"Um.. Excuse me, Healer Murdoch. Would be okay if Evie came with me?" Not that he needed anyone with him or anything, nope, not at all. It just seemed rude to leave her out alone when she offered to come. Yup, totally that. He was not a rude person. Not all the time at least. |
Quote:
"And deprive you of that joy? *Yawn* *When she mentioned him falling out of the tree he nodded lamely.* "I want to see if I could fly-... ground got in the way..." Quote:
"Weee...flying Bean Head-... come on Daisy!" |

She tried to not to smile when he asked if she could come with. "It's my fault, really," she interjected, looking from Dante to the Healer. "If I hadn't been walking so close to the tree, he wouldn't have had to save me." That was a big fat lie. But she was doing it for him... for some odd reason. And she was also doing it to see the inside of the hospital wing without getting injured herself. |
Dante & Evie Aww, did the little boy need his little friend to hold his hand for him? Healer Murdoch might have been considering letting the girl come back with them, right up until she opened her mouth. "No, your friend can stay out here. Apparently she's done enough damage for one day." And really, the girl should be thankful she was only being told to stay in the waiting area and not losing points right now. Honestly, admitting that SHE was the reason one of Murdoch's snakes was injured. Not a wise move girl, and definitely not a way to get on the healer's good side. "Now follow me so I can get that injury taken care of." And so she could question him about what really happened, without that girl there to influence his answers. -------------------------------------------------------------- Noah & Daisy What part of never mind did this girl not understand? Healer Murdoch was not listening to the girl at the moment. She had more important matters to tend to. Like getting Noah to the back so she could start working on him. "Just follow me. You can explain everything once I have this boy in the back." Without looking to see if the girl was following, Healer Murdoch carefully levitated Noah to a room. |

Dante blinked at what she said though made sure to not look surprised. It was cool of her to say that. She definitely didn't have to, he didn't even complain about not wanting to sound like an idiot when telling the actual story. The Ravenclaws were indeed smart people it seemed. No wonder he didn't get sorted there. Heh. Anyway, looked like he was going in there on his own. "Yes, Ma'am," He knew his head of house enough to know not to argue anymore. When the blond said a word it was better not to argue too much. Before turning around to follow the Healer her offered a nod at Evie as both farewell and thank you. She might wait or not, he was definitely going to talk to her later. |

She didn't get to go? She admitted to her Well, that was the end of that. Evie gave Dante a little half smile as he disappeared into the hospital wing. "See you later," she called after him, clearly upset that she was getting left behind. But she would see him later. Even if their first official meeting had been them bickering and ended in him getting injured, she found it enjoyable (besides the injury). So, she was sure she'd see him again. For now, Evie was going to go back to her dorm and wait for the next Cartographer's club and make SURE that she would get to go to the third floor. She wanted to explore the hospital wing, okay? |
