An old moving tapestry depicts Barnabas attempting to train trolls for the ballet. Don't laugh too hard, now; the tapestries' occupants are easily offended.
Of course Botros would be the first to go to his class' floor, it was his impression that there were many exciting things to see there. Maybe former runic professors carved a secret message on the walls or created a ward around a corner hiding an artefact. The possibles were limitless!

Now, when would they begin?

Ah, well the two boys would have plenty of time to talk later so he decided to focus on the matter at hand. The headmistress explained that it would be a good use to split up so Simon quickly considered the options. Whilst he was doing so, the other students quickly paired off into teams.
"Ethan and I will go with Professor Botros and Mr. Kenting!" he offered with a helpful grin. Yes, Sherlock and Watson would be solving cases side by side with Botros and the really cool cartographer. The boy pulled out his notebook and readied his pen for the possibility of note taking. Alright, let's get this show on the road!

So...splitting into teams? Sure, he can deal with that as long as he and Simon will be together. He hates it when he’s separated from his Watson. Honestly though, he would love to accompany the Runes Master because he’s an awesome man, but was curious about spending time with the Headmistress. He was beginning to feel torn when Simon finally spoke for him.
Dilemma solved. Thanks, Watson!
Ethan gave Simon a nudge, and stood by Professor Botros as he too, took out his pad and writing implements. The fifth floor should be interesting to document. The Spirit Room’s also located there, right? Hmm. Hmmmmmmmmm? Ethan wrote down the words 'Spirit Room' and showed it to Simon.
Botros smiled over at the pair of Slytherins who joined in instantly. Mr. Mordaunt and Holden were always up for a detective adventure, he knew this much. He was glad they kept this going from two years ago. Some things never changed, heh. It didn't hurt that they both were good students in Runes, they had a good grasp on the symbols and what they indicated, this could be useful.
Anyway! Questions? Suggestions? He certainly had none. His eyes went to Mr. Kenting to announce the start of the mapping spree.

Sophia was not late, a woman like her never was. The others were obviously eager to get this mapping done but this Professor had arrived precisely when she meant to, never late but just not early.
"I'm here." She greeted, smoothing out any little creases that might have appeared in her outfit on the walk here. Being perfectly on time, she was able to catch the tail end of whatever the Headmistress had been saying. They were already splitting up? She must have been more on time than she thought, wonderful. Seeing as Annie would be the one mapping on her fold, the Professor silently went to stand next to her while they waited for the groups to even out

Thorbert turned to his team with some pep in his step and smileeeed a toothy smile. "Well lads, looks like we're ready to go!" Anyone else wanting to join their team could come along, if they wished.
"To the fifth floor corridor, then?" He took out a small notebook from his pocket and opened it with a flick of the wrist, producing a pencil from inside his jacket a moment later. Alwaaaaays had to be prepared. And then he was off, hopefully with the rest of the group right behind him. There was noooo time to waste!

Ethan’s head turned to see Professor Bellaire join the group. The Slytherin grinned at the Transfiguration professor, and offered a polite nod. After showing Simon his pad, Ethan flipped it close and turned his attention to Mr. Kenting. “Indeed, sir.” Sherlock and Watson are always ready. Right, Simon?
The next thing he knew, the cartographer was on the move. Better to keep up with him, because he just might give tips and tricks along the way, and he didn’t want to miss out on those. Documentation stuff is just like investigation. Always, always pay attention to details!
“Come now, Watson! The game is afoot!” Ethan gave Simon a quick nudge and followed Mr. Kenting down the hall...

So everyone was breaking up into their groups. She looked around to see who was in her group. Were there anymore people coming to join them? A big smile on her face she turned to Adi, "Are you ready?" This was going to be fun, though she was pretty sure they would just find the normal things in the Divination tower. She had spent so much time walking around there. She probably could do the mapping of it right here, but what fun would that be.
"Alright let's head that way." She snapped before turning on her heels and headed towards the divination tower. Turning every so often to make sure her group was following. Though she was sure they were.

When Lux heard that Professor Botros was going to be one of the team leaders, she jumped at the chance to be in his group. Not only was he her Head of House, but he reminded her of her grandpa. Normally she would have chose Gryffindor over Hufflepuff because best House ever, but she was in the mood to show Puff pride and she did love Hufflepuff.
Smiling, she made her way to her team before heading off to the fifth floor with them. She was looking forward to discovering new things and this meeting should be fun like all of the others besides the first one since the swamp water had been gross.

Ah, so they could get moving. Stellar. All this standing around was making Pebbles anxious. "Alright then, Mr. Adair, Miss Brown," he said as he turned to the pair. "Let's multitask as we make our way to the Astronomy Tower, shall we? Maps and writing implements out!" He had his own in his enchanted breast pocket, but for now his hands were busy keeping a hold on Pebbles' leash.
With a triumphant stride, the gangly astronomer began to lead the way down the corridor after giving good ol' Barnabus a quick salute.

Smallest group of the lot possibly? Adi didn't mind. Maybe more students were going to join in later since this was definitely not the majority of students that attended Hogwarts.
"Ready as I'lll ever be, Professor!'' The Hufflepuff was enthusiastic about this so let's not deny him the pleasure of the possibility of finding more secret hideaways. LOL.
Pencil and book in hand, the fifth year followed the Divination woman towards the all too familiar Tower.
HEHEHEHE. Zander didn't seem all that keen on joining her, but she just patted his arm and gave him a reassuring smile. She had this totally under control, Zanderpander. Everything was going to be just fine. There was nothing to worry about. Mostly. Probably.
TOBES was there, too, just in time, and she shot him a big grin as he announced where he was going to go... AND addressed Pebbles.
So precious.
At Flammy's command, Sophie gave Zander's arm a happy tug and trailed along as their group left, following suit with their group captain and giving Barnabus a SALUTE in jest. Not entirely mocking the astronomy professor, but in very good humor. Hehehehe.

Woah. Professor Bellaire was LATE. Okay, so she had managed to get around before they did any of the club things, but still. She had joined in pretty late comparatively. How come she got to bed the rules, but she made her own SO strict? Speaking of which, was anyone ever going to question the standing thing before class because Zander still didn't get it.
Anyways, before the group could grow any bigger they were already splitting off and moving AND WAIT they were leaving already?? Not that Zander minded and all because being around the Headmistress was real awkward after all those... certain circumstances. Merlin.
He quickly followed at the arm tug without even thinking it through.

Totally absolutely a hundred percent not late. Because technically it wasn't a class or anything, and technically Toby had somehow managed to get lost on the way up here. Or, well, no, okay... actually he'd become distracted by a wandering cat that he'd NEEDED TO PET, so like... it was an important distraction at least.
Okay, maybe a little bit late. But the professors tended not to mind in the past, so at least there was that.
He skidded to a halt by the tapestry, really making an entrance for the group (was Glendower here? she'd like that entrance) just in time to hear the Headmistress split everyone off into groups.
"I'll go sixth floor!" were his words of greeting. Sure, sixth. How often did he visit that floor? Not often enough. He supposed it didn't get much attention, being the penultimate floor on the way to the top of the castle. It probably felt left out. "Sorry I'm late. Hi everyone. Hi... Pebbles." Was she going to map things out too? Did she have a notebook?
... Speaking of notebooks, Toby started patting at his pockets to make sure he'd brought HIS with him. Uhhhh, where was- AH. There. He pulled the now pretty tattered looking notebook from his pocket and glanced inside to make sure it was the right one, almost losing a couple of pages in the process. Yep, all good. All ready over in this corner. Also a little bit bouncy. Very bouncy. Like he'd had a lot of coffee or something. Bouncebouncebounce.

Great! Sophia was here and they had a whopping ONE STUDENT on their team. No matter. Mr. Tobias Thompson-Fuller was used to being one-on-one with his professors, right? Since he had two for dads? Hahhh.
"Let's roll," the redhead murmured to her teammates, signaling them to the stairs with a wave of her wand. The sixth floor had to be mapped somehow, so why not have them do it.

Well, alrighty then. Just him and Truebridge and Bellaire. At least for NOW. No doubt some other kids would join them soon. After all, who could resist discovering the secrets of Hogwarts on the sixth floor? Okay. Apparently a lot of people, but NOT THE POINT.
Toby saluted the others as they departed on their quests, then went off in the direction the Headmistress gestured them to, still with a real BOUNCE in his step. Time to get a-mappin'!
