COMC Homework 1 - Post 11 Hatter followed the boy figuring thet might just happen on the White Rabbit or the Caterpillar along the way as they ventured outside. Maybe even the ever-ellusive Chesaire Cat. Cue round of chuckling. The Chesaire Cat was always good for a source of amusement, even if he didn't often pop in for tea. As long as the Jabberwocky was nowhere around they were all good. He didn't want any bad things to deal with today. He carried the jar of fairies, the creatures twittering and buzzing away. "Yes...I know...its all fun and exciting," he said in agreement as if understand them and their words. But too bad they couldn't bring some tea along the way. He whistled a little as he sauntered down the path, coming upon the table that had been set by the stables. Oh! End of the road for the fairies, the man watching as his companion set his jar down, echoing the movements and setting his own down too. "You should certainly by for a tea party sometime," he said with a smile. "The Dormouse would love to meet you." |
SPOILER!!: Maaaaaad Benny Chuckling...Adi heard chuckling. He shook his head. "You okay there, chuckle head?'' He had resigned to the fact that Benny had been taken over by whatever seemed to have gripped Hogwarts this year. All those other students had been acting weird and now Benny caught it. It was the only logical explanation. "Yeah, guys. We invite you for tea and to meet the Dormouse.'' Rolling his eyes, Adi grabbed Benny by the arm. "Let's go, Chuckles.'' He glanced over his shoulder as he pulled Benny. "Bye, you four!'' And with that, Adi tugged his bestie all the way back to the Castle for their first class of the day. There would be NO stopping at the Great Hall again for tea. |
CoMC #14 Soooooooooooooo.... There was a table in here? For the jars? He had to say goodbye to his fairy?!??! At least he had actually managed to keep it alive for all this time, and it seemed to be happy enough, and still completely self absorbed with its reflection. Entering the stable, Zeke looked about for a place to set it down, and it didn't take long for him to find it. "Spose this is goodbye," he said to the creature in the jar, as he held it up to eye level. He wouldn't miss the chores and the early mornings, but it was nice having another pet thing. Icarus though would appreciate having his full attention again. "Might catch you around, Fairy," he said as a final farewell... though what the Professor would do with them he had no idea. Still, it had been an experience. CASUALLY, he made his way back up to the castle. Didn't want to be late for a lesson. Nope. |
CoMC HW 1 Post 11 A slow, sad lion made her way to the stables. This was goodbye, and she didn't want to let go. Sure, they were are cool as unicorns, but while AJ was babysitting the fairies, she grew attached to them. The lion even traded one with her sister all in the name of love. Oh, the things she did for creatures. Spotting the table made everything feel so final. Would her fairies miss her as much as she would be missing them? Tinker was all in love with Tails so she doubted that those two would care, but Bell would? Ain't that right, Bell? Placing the jar down gently, she pressed her face against it, and could see traces her breath left on the glass. "I'll miss you guys." The babysitting was over, and AJ was free to go. Looking a little sad, she turned on her heel and left the stables. |
COMC Homework #1-Post 10 It was time. Jasmine arrived at the stables with her fairies and reluctantly looked for the table where she had to leave them. This was even harder than she had expected it would be. Saying goodbye, really saying goodbye to her babies was sad. Now Jasmine knew how a foster parent must feel. It was hard to let go after you had become attached. Jasmine looked into the jar and stared at her fairies for a moment. "You two be good now and take care of each other. I won't forget you.......Goodbye." Then she put the jar down on the table and walked away. "Don't look back", she said to herself. And she did not. |
CoMC HW 1 Post 11 Angel followed her sister towards the table... now it was time to get rid of the fairies she was actually a bit upset. "I'll miss you guys." Angel sighed as she looked at all the fairies. "I hope Tinker and Tails will get to stay together." Angel looked at her sister. "Should we leave a note for the Professor telling him not to separate the pair?" Angel wasn't sure if she should or not would the Professor think she was rude. Angel decided to just put a small note on AJ's jar for the Professor to read it just said fairies in love and she didn't even sign it there was no way she could get in trouble right. Looking at the other jar she gave a small smile and then she followed her sister out, she glanced back as she left though because she was sure going to miss the fairies after all. |
COMC HW #1 Post 11 Alright time to drop off his fairies. This was under his professor's instructions. He didn't want to leave them behind. The couple was growing on him. They even both pointed to their stomach and it seemed like they were expecting a baby fairy. He smiled and gave them a two thumbs up! That was awesome news! He needed to write a note explaining his time with his fairies. He got a note and a piece of parchment and wrote down his thoughts, SPOILER!!: Kace's Parchment After he read the parchment it seemed legit. He put it down and kept it with his fairies and waved them goodbye. |
Charms Homework #1-Post 1 Jasmine was excited about her Charms homework and headed to the stables with her camera in hand. Her first picture would be of one of the winged horses, at least that was the plan. When she arrived, Jasmine peeked into the various stalls, trying to decide which horse would be the best subject. After walking pack and forth several times, Jasmine chose a beautiful Abraxan. He just seemed to have a personality that said, "Take my picture". She watched him for a moment, trying to gauge his movements. At last, Jasmine raised her camera and looked into the viewfinder. When the time was right.......Click. When the picture came out of the bottom of the camera, Jasmine looked at it. She liked it, but decided to take a few more back-ups just in case. And so she did. As the horse moved around Jasmine clicked away. When she finished, Jasmine looked over each picture one at a time. When she found the one that she liked best, she tapped it and said, "Alacer". Then she watched as the winged horse began to move in the picture. Satisfied, Jasmine moved on to her next location. |
CoMC Post 11 Puck was really tired, exhausted even when she finally made her way over to the stables. She didn’t really want to say when she was going to say goodbye to the little fairies. It was sad, sure, she was going to miss them but she also needed them to be taken care of. She did care about them, she really did. They were good, and they reminded her of her mother, she winced at the thought before she placed the jar on the table in the stables and waved her little guys a quick goodbye. |
CoMC Homework #1 - Post 11 It was time for her to say goodbye to her fairies, and that made Lux sad. Through fairysitting, she had grown to care about her little charges, and now she needed to give them back to Professor Thompson. Sighing, she placed her jar onto the table. It was time for her to say goodbye. "You two behave yourselves because you are a pair of Gryffindors." It made her laugh because they were so adventurous and had no fear. Gryffindor was the best House. "I'm going to miss you guys." Sighing, she went to the door and gave them a wave. "Goodbye, little fairies." |
CoMC Homework Post # - Returning the fairies ;-; So this was it. The end of an era. Toby was all done with his assignment, the time was up, and he had to return them to the stables today. He was doing his best not to think too much about it as he hauled the EXCESSIVELY large jar (engorgement charms are tricky, okay?) in both arms alllllllll the way down to the stables. But then he was there, and placing the big big jar with the others (yeah, wow... maybe he had overdone it, but there were like four fairies and soooooo many eggs, so it was... justified) and it was done. But Toby didn't want to leave them just yet. These were his friends. He didn't want to say goodbye to his friends. Would he see them again? Toby bit his lip, sad little puppy dog sort of expression on his face, and knelt down beside the table. "This is it guys, I have to leave you here," he said to Cordelia, Tink, Puck and Spyro, who all watched him curiously through the glass. "But Thompson will take care of you now. He's super nice, I told you about him." ... ... Okay, yeah, it was super difficult to just... leave. Toby found himself still kneeling there, not going anywhere. After about a minute or two, he finally pulled his yellow and black scarf from his neck and wrapped it around the bottom of the jar (which was so big by this point that not even a third of it was covered up). "This is for you guys, so you know I'm still here," Toby said to the occupants of the jar, feeling his eyes sting. "You guys take care, and maybe I'll see you later, yeah?" Okay. "... G'bye then." Toby gave one last little wave, then smiled at the fairies, and made his way out of the stables. |
CoMC Homework Post 9 - Abandonment of the fairy friends. Terrible. Huh. Though she hadn't expected to like it or be any good at taking care of the fairies at all, Soph was... actually a little mellow as she entered the stables to return them. It was just a class assignment, just a class assignment... yeah, she should've reminded herself of that BEFORE she got to like having the fairies around and let them like her, too. It was horrible of her. She should've been a terrible owner so she didn't have this sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach as she approached the table she was meant to return her jar to. Zelda and Lily would've been happy to leave her, she wouldn't have cared at all about leaving them behind... And yet here she was, an eerie sadness washing over her as she set the jar on the table. Her fairies were looking at her - a little confused about where they were at first, but then they saw the other jars that students had returned... and Soph was sure they knew. They knew this was where they went their separate ways, and the look they gave her might have broken her heart a little. "I've gotta go, guys. You'll get to go back and be happy and fly around with all your other fairy friends like before now. It'll be even better than having to follow me around everywhere, but at least... y'know, y'got a full tour of the school and..." She paused, wishing she could hug them farewell or something, "if y'ever escape, you know where I live. All the way at the top of that huge staircase, you can find me there, remember? If you just wait outside the door with the knocker, y'can slip in after someone. If y'want, y'know. I'll be happy to see you again." They would want to see her again, too, right? A bit regretfully, Soph pulled a crumpled up piece of parchment from her pocket, scribbled Sophie's fairies, Zelda and Lily in the corner of it with a self-inking quill, then tore the scrap off and rested it on the lid. There. That way... maybe, she didn't know, Thompson could give her the opportunity to come back and see them again later? And he'd at least call them by the right names? Unable to let herself draw it out any longer, Soph blew her fairies a kiss and left, not daring to let herself look back. |
CoMC HW #1 Post #9 Returning her jar, that was exactly what she was doing in this smelly enclosed place full of winged horses and creatures she quite frankly didn't want to go anywhere near. Heh. She might have been a little fearful. Maybe just a bit. She had her jar of fairies in her hand as she walked down the pathway and straight into the barn. Weirdly she did feel some form of parental affection over the fairies but she was sure that it would disintegrate by the time she reached the common room once again. It was the morning after she had finished her task and the fairies were feeling pretty lively. "Well.. It was nice knowin' ya" she smiled at the pair before placing the jar onto the table where they were supposed to leave them. "Bye" her smile was only half-hearted as she turned to leave the block. Cool, well.. Onwards and upwards. |
Post #11; CoMC Homework Was it really time to leave these creatures? A frown settled on his face as he took out a particular piece of parchment and eyed it quickly. According to this list of steps, Grayson had done everything: he'd given them names, fed them, cleaned their environment and gave them a chance to get some exercise. So WHY did it feel like he was missing something? Aside from the step about the eggs. Dude hadn't done that because there were no eggs in there. Thank Merlin, because fifty eggs? FIFTY?! JEEZ. Yeah. Something was missing. And his heart felt heavy but he was gonna ignore that. Instead, Grayson set the jar of fairies down on the table before crouching down. He should say something, shouldn't he? "Yeah, so, it's time for goodbye, I guess." Did he care? No. Not really. He didn't WANT to. He was perfectly fine with his cold heart that was currently being metaphorically tugged at right now. "Did you guys have fun? I had fun. Remember when you flew off and made me run after you like a freaking loony? Ahhhh, good times." Casual. He was casual. "Don't expect anything mushy gushy from me, its not gonna happen." Yeah, he knew exactly what those looks meant. "But take care and don't let any of the other fairies treat you badly." Life lessons. Important. Yeahhhhhh, he was drawing this out now. "See you guys!" And with a wave and a smile, Whitty was out of there. |
CoMC HW (11) Right so this was it wasn't it? You know, even though the thought of taking care of the fairies was a weird one. It actually wasn't that bad. Granted, it was a lot of work, but he had kind of grown fond of the two. They were a handful, yes. But they were also kind of funny handfuls. How come he got stuck with the fairies that were always running around? But yeah, he was here to return them. So with a slight frown on his face, the Gryffindor placed them next to some of the other student jars and just watched them for a bit. It was kind of sad. After going through so much with them, it was kind of hard to watch them go. Well, watch them watch him go. Okay, this was confusing. Yeah okay, before anymore sad things happened he turned around and began to walk away. No turning back now. That was it. Fun while it lasted, but never doing it again. he had enough chasing fairies for one life time. |
Care of Magical Creatures HW: Post 11 Giving the jar with his fairy back was...a bit harder than Gabriel had anticipated. He'd...grown attached. JUST LIKE HE KNEW HE WOULD. That's why this school was completely evil and toxic. It made you feel.....bound to it with THINGS...and people....and GIRLS...or GIRL... No, GIRLS was accurate, he supposed. ....named CB.......and Clara. Even Zahra, who he'd stolen the fairy from....not that she'd ever know. Moving automatically towards the place where the other jars were, Gabe looked down at his fairy. He'd spent a week of his life with it. Felt kinda wrong to be giving it back now. Why weren't they keeping them, again? He'd have been okay.....keeping up with his fairy. It hadn't even been that hard. Not really.... ...No........and here came the anxiety. Not allowing himself to make a screen...because he FELT it coming on...he set the jar down and walked off. He needed to go see the potions' master. This was getting to be too much....all the time.... |
CoMC Post 10 Beverly wasn't the emotional sort. Not really. She didn't enjoy the feelings process of it. As it was, and as she walked down to the stables, her grip on the jar tightened. She didn't want to let go of HER fairies. She'd bonded with them and they were friends now and she couldn't give away the few friends she had. Even if they were creatures. Biting on the insider of her cheek, Beverly set the jar down a put on a happy face for Violet and Trinny. Well, the best happy face this Wayne had. "Had a great time...um, with you guys." SHE WAS NOT GOING TO CRY. "Be nice for Professor Thompson, yeah?" Oh holy dragon scales. Her eyes were burning and there was a knot in her throat. Someone punch if her if she cries, okay? Actually. No. She was out before any tears happened. Tapping the jar, Beverly turned on her heals and sped walked back into the castle. She wasn't crying. There was just fairy dust in her eyes. |
CoMC 1.11 - Farewell, Fairy Friends Lex felt absolutely no attachment to the little group of fairies with whome she'd spent a chunk of her life, unlike Dima... who didn't even technically take the class. But he'd fed them and played with them and cleaned their jar and watched their eggs as if they were his OWN. So he tagged along to say goodbye with her, of course. Actually, Dima wasn't all that sad. Sure, he loved them and they were SO much fun, but surely Professor Thompson would be taking them to a better place? Letting them go free or creating a fairy sanctuary of sorts? They would be with their own kind, and as much as he cared for them, the second year knew they would like that better. And if the lil' fairy ladies were happy, then so was he! "Hey, guys! We gotta leave you now, but don't worry, Professor Thompson will take care of ya. And I hear he's a REAL cool guy. Plus, you might get to play with more fairies! And your eggs will hatch, so you'll have a bunch of baby fairies to look after, just like Lex and I looked after you." Aww. They were following in their pseudo-parents FOOTSTEPS. How cute. They'd raised 'em so well. He chatted their ears off for a while, and when he FINALLY ran out of things to say (it must have been hours), Dima let Alexa talk. |
Drop Off How was it possible Dima had so much to say to them? Sure she'd taken as much care of them as him the past week but...it wasn't that serious. They were homework, homework she would be glad enough to get rid of but somehow she knew saying that would only end terribly because Dima WOULD have something to say about that. Sigh. She'd just...let him talk. Finally when it seemed he was out of words, she patted the jar. "I might actually miss you lot. Honest. Felix too though I suspect that'd be for a different reason. The point is, you guys were fun and now we're giving you back and that's the end of it." The Gryffindor had never been very good at goodbyes. Go figure. Were they ready to leave? Standing there would only make this harder than it needed to be and she didn't wanna have to haul Dima away so she began walking in the hopes he'd follow suit. They were good fairies, they were. |
