So. Much. Crying. Jun didn't even feel like crying anymore. Eden and Lux were already doing enough of that for him. But he held onto Lux and patted her head as she kept crying. He grinned at Justine, looking up and down the table. It was starting to fill up with other claws and houses. And there was Pal. "Paaaaaaaal. Gonna miss me?" Hm, maybe she will a bit. They'll see each other a lot over summer so he wasn't too sure on what to say to her. Maybe just a 'See you later.' But she was awfully quiet, something the ballerina wasn't. At least not with him. Pal had also been to herself a lot lately and Jun didn't pester her about it. So he'll just pester Kai, seeing as he basically knew everything there was to know about her. Then there was a LOUD voice. Someone flung themselves at him and hugged tightly. Recognizing the voice, Jun chuckles the hugged Eden back. "McGee, why are you being sooooo loud? I'm right here," He grinned, patting the girl's head, hoping it would calm her down. And to stop being so loud. Honestly, he was going to miss messing with Eden. Even if it were like twice or something. "I'm hungry," Thought you ought to know. |
”… See your face during those two weeks?” Justine mimicked the words in her head, already bored with the girl’s talk and lame attempt at sarcasm. It was just so poorly executed, real sarcasm was so subtle that other people couldn’t understand the insincerity; Paloma’s was so obvious it was nearly in bad taste. “No, ‘fraid not… I think it might be coming in in a few days… “ Justine replied, the smile was so sweet it would have given you a tooth ache just looking at it. Honestly, had you nit known her, it would have looked very genuine, but then faking things was her specialty. She couldn’t believe she’d be living with this limp noodle for the next two weeks, How dreadfully unpleasant, at least it was just the two weeks… Until next year anyway… Sweet, kind Lux was crying and Justine just had no idea what to do or what to tell her to make the pain of Junstine and Bay leaving any better, for an actress and an accomplished liar she was doing pretty badly at making something up, or covering the sad little smile on her face as she played with her younger friend’s hair. “It’s okay, we’ll see each other all the time... I’ll come visit you whenever I can…. “ It was the only thing she could offer. And now Eden, Jus really had absolutely, positively, no idea how to deal with Eden. Her emotions were all over the place and though the elder Ravenclaw wanted to comfort her in some way, the means to do so eluded her. With the hand that wasn’t stroking Lux’s hair, Justine patted McGee’s pat in what she hoped was a consoling gesture. “Yes, actually I do.. Unless Hogwarts has an acting class I wasn’t aware of… “ Was that helpful? Jus had no idea, a moment later relief, warm and much welcomed washed over her as Eden’s attentions were directed toward Jun, instead. "We'll see each other over summer, don't worry... " She added, much calmer now thanks to her release from Eden's crying self. And thank the heavens for that, Jus was about have had a small panic attack. Actually, now that pretty boy mentioned it, she was pretty hungry herself. When was Truebridge going to give the speech so they could eat, already? Throughout all this, Jus kept lightly stroking Lux's hair and holding her close, she wasn't keen to let go. |
Adi, Maddie & Zhenya SPOILER!!: Adi "Awwwww, that's so sweet. I'm going to miss you guys so much." It was true. This place had become like a second "I'll be attending the university in the fall. I decided that I would study Herbology." How she came to that decision was a long story, but but she was pretty sure that was the best choice for her. "This summer though, I'll be traveling and I can't wait. What about you, any exciting plans?" It was hard to imagine everyone coming back to Hogwarts in September and going on as usual........without her. SPOILER!!: Maddie "That's what I like to hear", Jasmine replied. I knew I could count on you. Jasmine laughed as Maddie mentioned her brothers. "Yeah I know what you mean. I've got one of those too. Although I'm not sure my parents would ever be brave enough to leave him in charge of me." Jasmine loved her big brother dearly, but.....just no. "Ooh you're going to visit your friends. That should be a lot of fun. I'm jealous." When Maddie asked about her plans, Jasmine responded. "I'm planning to do some traveling this summer. It's my last hurrah before I've got to be a grown up. I've got some family to visit and then I'll be traveling just for me." Jasmine was really looking forward to having a little fun for a while. SPOILER!!: Zhenya "My plans for next year? Well I'm off to the university to study Herbology. As much as I hate to leave Hogwarts, I'm looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life." Jasmine was rather nervous, but excited about her transition into the adult world. Jasmine smiled as she thought back to her first partnership with Zhenya. That was the epitome of craziness, even by Hogwarts standards. Jasmine was temporarily in love with Kevin Hirase and Zhenya was busy swooning and wretching. Somehow they had manged to save each other. Then there was Ancient Runes, where Zhenya did a fabulous job. Then Jasmine had an idea. "I was thinking, maybe we could meet in Diagon Alley sometime....when we're not in school." They could still be friends, even if they weren't in school together. Jasmine listened as Zhenya shared her summer plans. "Meeting your new family should be a lot of fun. Then Jasmine discussed her plans. "I'll be traveling this summer too. I'll be trying to enjoy my last bit of youthful freedom. |
A hand was stroking her hair, and Lux couldn't help but notice how big a softie Justine was becoming. In his own way, Jun was too though he opted for patting her head instead of hair stroking. They would all see each other still. Yes, that was true. There was summer, though that never seemed long enough when it came to seeing Graduated friends. She would he able to talk to her Lion while at Hogwarts through two-way mirrors, but it would still feel like the other half of her was missing because he wouldn't be THERE with her. Nodding, she wiped her eyes and sent Justine a small smile as the crying slowly came to a stop. "We could make brownies and let you eat all the batter. Does that sound good to you guys?" It would be loads of fun for all three of them, and food was always an added bonus. Plus there was still the train. Hopefully she would be able to talk to Jasmine there, since her friend was busy with other company at the moment. Lux herself would be joining the Lion table soon enough to see her boyfriend and besties, but for the moment this was nice. "Got any plans for summer?" she asked Paloma curiously; despite not knowing the girl too well, the redhead liked her. She seemed nice and it was a shame Justine wasn't fond of her. Feeling a sudden tap on her shoulder, Lux turned her gaze and gasped. Charlie!!! It felt like ages since she had last seen her friend. Lux had missed her, and pulled the Snake into a hug. "Hiiiii!!" |
Text Cut: Eden, Hugo, Jun, Justine and Lux Paloma grinned at Eden. She would probably in the same, very LOUD, condition if she hadn't been so anxious lately. She shook her head, assuring her fellow Ravenclaw that she was not leaving yet. There was still a year, to get to know her better, to actually be a good friend to Eden. At the thought, Paloma seemed to have lost sense of time, and that more people had joined the feast by then. Including her little first year friend Hugo, who had no manners to greet her, apparently. "That is no way to greet a lady, Hugo. But...hello. And no...not yet. It's too early to leave this place. But it'd be sad to graduate, like my friend...here." She pointed to Jun, then pouted. "You leave memories here, friends..." She shrugged, and tried to hold back a tear. She was not going to cry. "And how have you been? It's like you've been like...lost? Too much homework?" She probably asked too many questions, but Paloma had actually missed the little NOW second year. Jun's question made Paloma's heart have a little stroke. As if someone was punching it, picking on it, and possibly planning on taking it from her. "Of course I'm going to miss you." She replied, feeling her throat a little weak, her eyes finally pushing out those salty little water droplets. "But you know you won't get rid of me that easily, yeah? I will visit Kai, and I'll go share my new recipes with you, and practice, because you're still my partner, okay?" That was it. Paloma was crying, and really needing a hug then, but everyone was hugging everyone. Taking a deep breath, she cleared her tears and smiled at Jun, those that she hoped, Jun could feel encouragement that this summer things would get a little better... Paloma, way inside her head, rolled her eyes. She couldn't stand it. These few minutes talking to Justine just made her feel like those two next weeks they'd share the apartment were going to be hell. She was feeling nauseous, a headache coming along, and her legs already feeling like noodles. BREATHE, breathe, breathe, breathe. "I see. Well, I'll see you there, I guess." She had definite no intention of continuing that little chat with her. They'd have plenty to pester at each other once in New York. Lux's question distracted her from the negative vibes, making her smile and think for a second on how to tell Lux that well, Justine was actually going to be her roommate. "Well, I'll be back in forth. But these first two weeks, I will be in New York City, for some evaluations at Julliard, and arranging some rules and limits with my new roommate, our dear present Miss Justine Janvier." She said, giving her the sweetest smile, trying to be honest, trying to be positive about all that...jazz. "And once the two weeks end, I'll be free to visit my boyfriend, my friends, my family..." Including that trip to Puerto Rico. OHMAN, she couldn't wait. "And you? Any special plans, my Lady Lux?" She asked her, excited to actually hear about her plans. And maybe she could invite her...*whistle*. |

Zhenya beamed at her friend. "Jasmine I'd really love that!" She was so happy that she knew she would be able to SEE her friend again once she left. She hated goodbyes. Of course she knew she could send an owl to Jasmine, and they could write each other, but it wouldn't be the same as actually seeing each other. "I'm going to be going to Seattle at some stage to see a friend, but I'm going to have plenty of time during the holidays. That's a great idea. How about you write me when you're going to be there and we can make a time and a meeting place?" "That's great! Travelling like a witch or the muggle transport ways?" Her friend had suggested she FLY to Seattle, but there was NO WAY Zhenya was about to trust a horizontal cylinder that flew. No magic involved? How in the name of Merlin did they stay in the air? It was just… unheard of! No, she would be going via floo powder. |
SPOILER!!: little loud there, McGee On the one hand, Clara was glad Eden was being soppy and loud because it drew the attention away from her and allowed her to sit in silence and be, well, miserable. Surely, she'd earned that right. On the other hand, it meant she had too many opportunities to get lost in negative thoughts and that ..... really wasn't good. Unfortunately, or luckily, Eden soon enough realised that she wasn't looking great. "Eden..." she mumbled, taking the glass from her. She didn't drink anything, though. Not yet. "My friend?" Clara followed Eden's gaze/glare and spotted the grumpy looking Gabriel Banner on the receiving end, she couldn't help but smirk a little bit. Surprise, surprise. "I'm fairly certain it's because you're being a tad loud. Gabe doesn't particularly like dramatics." At least, that's what she'd observed. Also ... "Quit glaring at him, okay? I'll ... I'll drink this if you do." Clink, clink, cliiiiink. |

The Puffer looked at Jasmine teasingly. "You can always come back to teach Herbolgy should the position open,'' he said. He'd probably have graduated from Hogwarts by then but Jasmine would make a great Professor. |
Adi & Zhenya SPOILER!!: Zhenya Jasmine nodded as Zhenya spoke. "I know you're right. It's not like it's my first time making a transition, but it's hard every time." Jasmine knew he'd be OK, just like she was after every other time she'd switched schools........eventually. Jasmine brightened when Zhenya agreed that they should meet in Diagon Alley. "I'll send you an owl and we can work out the details. It'll be so much fun." The wheels were already turning and she was thinking of all the fun things they could do together. So Zhenya was traveling by floo. That would make her life so much easier. "I'll be traveling muggle style, alternating between plane and train. It all depends on where I'm going. It's not so bad. I'm used to it, but it does take longer than Wizarding travel." SPOILER!!: Adi Jasmine responded to Adi's question. "Of course I'll send you an owl. I always try to keep in touch with my friends." She meant that truly. Jasmine's friends were very important to her and she had some special ones at Hogwarts. "Yes, I have my travel plans all set. I'll be going to the States, California to visit my family. Then I'm going to get a chance to go somewhere I've always wanted to go.......Hawaii. That's my graduation present and I can't wait. Then it will be time to go off to school before I know it." Then Adi caught Jasmine off guard with a question she hadn't expected. She had finally come to grips with the whole Cris thing, but that didn't mean that there wasn't still pain there. Hoping that her expression did not betray her, Jasmine tackled the question. "No, I don't think I'll be seeing Cris.......but I wish I could." Knowing what the crystal had told her, Jasmine wondered if she would ever see Cris again. Secretly, she hoped so. Then Jasmine got a good laugh. Professor, her? "Oh Adi, you are too funny." That is something I just can't imagine. Me, a Professor? I don't think so." Jasmine didn't know where she would end up after the university, only time would tell. |

"I'm sorry I disappeared." She was really starting to regret not having Declan tell people why she was home for so long...so much for that. "I've missed you so much! " |
Hugo remained in silence meanwhile the older students talked about leaving Hogwarts, he didn't understand them and shrugged slightly before looking at Paloma. The boy rolled his eyes, "That's the way I will greet you" Paloma always had to correct him for anything and everything. She definitely was earning the title of older sister. And a bossy one. Finally someone explained to him the reason of the seventh years' sadness, still he didn't get it. "Umm...yeah sure but you can still hang out with your friends somewhere else "obviously "Are you going to cry?" he asked and watched Paloma curiously. You are going to cry, right? RIGHT? Hehe. Anyways..."I was hiding" he answered "Professors really like to leave us homework" and he hated that "But I've been good, excited to go back" yesss. |

"OH GOOD! I'll be eagerly awaiting your OWL. I can't wait!" It was sometimes tricky having friends in different houses, she didn't get to see them as often as her own house mates, but being able to catch up away from Hogwarts would be great. "Oh, I suppose a train isn't so bad. I'm used to trains. But… are you a little scared about the planes?" Zhenya had never really spoken to a witch or wizard who had travelled by plane. |
