Entrance The Great Hall is flanked by two large, thick, wooden doors that often make a BANG! sound when flung open by dramatic students and/or staff. There are large, beautiful glass windows at the end of the Hall above the staff dais, the usual enchanted ceiling over everyone, and the four regular house tables lined up neatly in the middle. |

Short post, past my bedtime.. Tiara had hopped back on her broom and followed her two colleagues inside. Her mind was still in a state of shock. Her pitch. It was just... gone! How... why... What?! It didn't even make SENSE. Since when did Scotland have giant sinkholes popping up? Her brain could not make the pieces together. But one fact kept coming back to mind. She ignored Millard's wheezing and gasping. She had eyes only for Annie. "You got your wish, Anastasia. We can't have Quidditch this year." That truth was incontrovertible to her now. |
Annie was a little out of breath too, not as much as Archie though. She nodded at him and gave Tiara quite the :| face, her lips drawn in a very thin, unamused line. "I think the castle is safe, but I'm not... I don't know what caused that," she replied to them both. "I think we should contact the Ministry's environmental department and have them make sure it's safe to walk around out there. We wouldn't want anything to happen to our students or our groundskeeper |
Archie's eyes were firmly set on the big doors of the hall, half expecting them to be the first thing to collapse into a massive HOLE. He flinched when Anastasia patted his shoulder, then rubbed his forehead as he caught up with his breathing. Good job he trusted the headmistress' judgement. "Yes... yes... I think that would be best." And on top of that, have his resignation, too. Okay, he was thinking a little too much into this right now. Suddenly, he gasped, "What about my hut?! I'd better check it's still standing! My pup's in there!" Awwwwwww, heck. And they were worried about Quidditch?!?!?! Archie made a little tut noise..... very quietly, of course. He covered it with a short cough just in case they had heard. |
Charms HW post 1 Why did he have to get up THIS early? He could've probably pretended to be sick and skipped class today. Didn't Bart do that all the time? Or at least, he said that he skip a bunch. Whether or not that was true, Zander wasn't really sure. But either way, Zander did wake up for class today... Except the most important thing came first. BREAKFAST! So here he was. Walking into the Great Hall, he noticed the lack of students... Was he early? HMPH. Looking at his watch he-- wait a minute. He doesn't wear a watch. LOL nevermind. By the looks of it, he was a bit early than planned so what a great time to do homework? CRIES. Ahem. The Gryffindor reached into his bag and took out the little camera from Charms class. Perfect. Then he held it up to his face and peered in all close to the little window thing. Focusing in on the scene in front of him he SNAPPED a picture of the hall! And now........... We wait.......... AND PHOTO DING DING DING!! The Gryffindor smiled and pulled out the developing picture. Holding it with his left hand, he poked it with his wand with the other. "ALACER!" And voila! Movement! Hehehe. Look at that one first year tripping on his way to the table. Good times, good times. |
Astronomy HW #3- Post 1 Kace was finished making his advertisement for the Astronomy homework. He wanted to show people that he had an awesome time at the space center. He also wanted people to go visit this place. It was worth their time if they were interested in Astronomy like he was. He got his tape to hang up his poster the old fashioned muggle way. He put the tape dispenser between his teeth and began hanging up his poster and thought it looked pretty cool after he was doing hanging it up... SPOILER!!: Le Poster! He was really quite pleased with himself and after he admired his work, he went back to his room for more studying for his OWLS. |
Divination post 5 Angel was totally confused now because her keychain was somewhere in here but where that was the question... there was the staff table, she didn't think that it would be there... the students weren't allowed at the staff table and she doubted that the Professor would put the keychain somewhere she wasn't allowed to go. Angel suddenly had an idea. "Is the keychain at the Gryffindor table?" Angel smiled as the crystal once again swung in the yes direction... this was awesome and she was totally in love with the crystal a mirror wouldn't be able to do this at all she was going to keep this crystal if the Professor let her it could come in handy if she lost anything again. Angel decided that she would go over to the Gryffindor table to retrieve her keychain since apparently it was over there. |
