Was Benny having luck with this activity? Was he actually seeing something? Adi eyed his bestie. Since when did he have the Inner Eye? The Dragon had been keeping secrets. The Hufflepuff peered shamelessly over to the parchment on which Benny was writing. The Snitch, huh? Go figure. Benny probably missed playing Quidditch a lot. Just as that thought occurred to him, he heard AJ's voice. Adi looked around at her. "Speaking to me now?'' he whispered, half liking an idea to be all sulky at her. But she had a cookie for him. AJ and cookies. Nope, Adi couldn't be sulky. "Thanks.'' She got one of his smiles. "I'm going to wait for Benny to finish up.'' Maybe AJ wanted to do the same for Angel. |
Even though he'd stopped attempting the scrying thing, Toby had zoned out again, staring at the crystal ball. Not crystal gazing, more like... crystal dazing. Thankfully enough, he didn't really have enough time to accidentally See anything in it, because Professor Morgan was talking and finishing up the lesson. Toby had had questions he'd wanted to ask, but at this point was just looking forward to getting out of this classroom and going to get some proper food. He was still... not sure how he felt. When the professor mentioned it, Toby reached for his parchment and quill and noted down what he saw(?): Quote:
With that all done, Toby packed up his things ready to go. He flashed Soph a small smiled and headed over to where the cookies were before taking one. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor. See y'later." Professor Morgan got a little wave, and then Toby was OUTTIE. Well. He'd wait down the ladder for Soph. Then they'd be OUTTIE. |
Sophie sat still with her few notes on her parchment, her expression fairly bored until Morgan spoke up and seemed to be tuned into the fact that so many of them had failed. Her attempts at consoling them and making them feel better about it didn't work so much with Soph, but the woman's cheery demeanor in general at least made her feel just a little less like a failure. Morgan wasn't the kind of professor who'd be horribly disappointed with her, and that helped Sophie care a little less about not having had the best of luck today. She was on her feet and packing her things away as soon as they were dismissed, though, right behind Tobes, and this Ravenclaw might have taken two cookies. She needed an extra one for her mental health today, okay? Before shoving one in her mouth, Soph offered Morgan a "Thanks, professor," then followed Tobes out of the classroom. |

What even was all this?!?!?! There was little hope in him focusing for the last five minutes now that they were essentially almost being dismissed. So sooooon?!?!?! Was the lesson really already over?! Quote:
Did all classes give out food? Quote:
........ ............. IT WAS OVER?!......... Zeke listened quietly to instructions, and nod to show he understood. But really, he had no idea what he'd just done or was doing or how this all worked nor what purpose it served. Was there something in the textbook for this? Wait... WAS there a textbook? He hadn't looked at his books, it was highly possible that there was... whoops. Either way, Zeke inked his quill and pulled his parchment toward him. Notes... notes... what did he SEEEEEE? Or better yet, what did he see that he didn't imagine? Ugh ugh ugh. In the end he wrote down whatever came to mind of the experience. Quote:
After packing his things up, Zeke moved to exit the room, taking a cookie on his way out as instructed. Hehe. "Thanks Professor," he acknowledged on his way to the exit before pausing, "we uuhh... will be going over this some more later, right? I still don't quite get it." And he wanted to get it, or at least THINK that he got it. Answers to questions were just so satisfying, so he couldn't let this go. |
Thank goodness for that. About 2 minutes after writing down her ever so uninteresting notes the Professor had declared the class dismissed. She was grateful, having spent the entire time staring at a ball of nothingness, although Eden seemed to like to protest that it was something 'special'. She shot the girl a look when she reassured her that it was 'okay' that she couldn't produce anything. "Ede, I don't even care if I produce somethin' or not" she told her glancing back at the Professor as she continued to sprout out about cookies and the elf. The minute she stopped speaking, Layla got up from the cushion graceful and completely ignored the idea of cookies and tea. She didn't need them and therefore she wasn't going to eat them. Neither did she thank the Professor for the lesson. Instead she gave her a half-hearted smile that barely even touched her face before walking straight out the door. Instead of heading towards the Common Room however, she headed straight down and out the staircase. |
Eat was something that Leonard could do. So he looked down at his parchment thinking for a moment if he should write down what he had seen. Just seeing her had made him miss his mother... shaking his head though he grabbed a pen and a piece of parchment. Quote:
Though he had no clue why. Now to eat those freshly baked cookies and get some more tea!!! |
Abby had finished writing down what she had seen on her parchment and then she helped herself to another cup of tea and some of the cookies before she decided to leave the classroom |
As the music stopped playing there was a POP making Hady's head snap up. That must be Pip! Smiling when the Professor told them they could have a cookie as they left the room she began to pack away her things (she wrote what she saw in her last post). Getting to her feet she picked up her things and made her way to front of the classroom. "Thanks Professor" She told Professor Morgan as she took her cookie and made her way over to the ladder climbing down when it was her turn. |
Ethan returned Beverly’s look with a nonchalant shrug. Still, the term just started so there was a long way to go before them Slytherins could relax and stuff. But for now, he won’t give Zahra, or anyone who manage to lose points for their House. He will give his Snakes the look if they lose points though. Although he’d have to leave Agatha to Beverly. He simply cannot fathom that girl’s attitude. The prefect went back to his crystal ball, and saw it in a different way this time. The thing was magical, which would be the common denominator for him and the sphere. Ethan thought that it will respond to him if he will it by opening himself to the ball. It was a hard thing to do, but he found a few more ropes around this Scrying business with which his brain can hold on to. Ethan took a deep breath, and concentrated on Zelda, imagining a thin silver string come out of his chest, connecting to the surface of the crystal ball. Without warning, mist swirled inside the ball, but there was no clear picture of anything. Ethan sighed, and the mist disappeared. At least, he was getting somewhere, no? But alas, time was up. He still needs to take a proper shower, and get ready for Astronomy next. Rubbing his eyes, then ruffling his own hair, Ethan stood up, stretched, and got his satchel. The boy reckoned that he needed to do a bit of jogging and stuff to get rid of the fog inside his head. The classroom literally was shouting sleep in his face at the moment. Without further ado, Ethan walked towards the woman and gave her a wave. “Thanks for the lesson and help, professor. See you next class.” With a slight bow, the Slytherin prefect made his way out of the room. |
