Cozy Nook Outside Professor Romanos' Office

http://i827.photobucket.com/albums/z...anosOffice.jpg

Around the corner from the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom is a cozy little nook that could almost be easily missed, in which sits a quaint little waiting area for all those who wish to visit Professor Romanos. There are a variety of dark reddish-brown leather chairs for those to sit comfortably on, surrounding a low, rich colored mahogany table that has been conveniently stacked with a few magazines for enjoyment while waiting. Underneath sits a soft carpet that matches the rest of the décor, giving the area a rustic and inviting place to be in. Right next to the door sits a little perch where a working little metal made snidget sits; most of the time. It does truly love to have the spotlight on him and will bug you if it isn't. If one wishes to visit the professor, all they have to do is knock. Keep in mind though, there may be others already in the office and if that's the case, feel free to make yourself comfortable. Fall asleep if you must. The Professor doesn't mind; just as long as you aren't missing any lessons.

OOC: Please post here first by having your character knocking on the door.

continued from outside headmistress' office

She needed to get Romanos and bring her to the astrophysics laboratory immediately. It was an emergency. Hoping Romanos was in her office, Penelope frantically knocked on the door. Knock knock knock knock knock knock knock... "Professor Romanos?" Romanos had better be there. She was needed to help Professor Airey.

Knock knock knock knock knock knock knock... oh dear.

Wand and tweezers in hand, she looked up from tweaking her rather needy watch and peered through a pair of steamed protective goggles towards the door. Goodness, her office was blurry. "Just a moment," she called. Rubbing the lens with the back of her hands so she could actually see, she maneuvered around her desk and opened the door.

"Miss Wright," Sliding the goggles to atop her head, she managed a smile somewhat. There'd been plenty of knocking. "Is everything alright?"

Bouncing on her toes a little bit, stopping, and bouncing again, Penelope anxiously waited for the professor to open the door. It appeared that the professor was busy doing something with tweezers and protective goggles. Oh dear. Perhaps the professor would be able to stop whatever she was doing and come to the astronomy tower. "Professor Romanos! Headmistress Truebridge sent me to get you. We have to go to the astronomy tower now. Professor Flamsteed needs your help... or we might require assistance dealing with him, depending on his current mental state. He thought he was a pirate and started locking students in the closet and- I'll explain it to you on the way there if you can come." She wasn't exactly sure what Truebridge wanted Romanos to do, but Penelope had come here to fetch Romanos as instructed to by the headmistress. Please don't be too busy right now. There was no telling what Professor Flamsteed might do if he was still acting like a pirate, and he would be needing some help if he wasn't a pirate anymore. There was a lot of food to clean up in the astrophysics lab.

OH??! O.O

So it really wasn't a homework assignment or lesson of some sorts that Airey had planned with the whole pirate theme thing. Merlin's goose eggs, she should've realized with what happened with Zeke... and the throwing out of his suits. Although why the Headmistress hadn't sent a patronus was a mystery, but it wasn't important. "Oh dear, yes, please... lead on." Gesturing towards the corridor, she shut the office door behind her.

There was no time to lose!

Walking down the corridor with Romanos, Penelope set off for the astronomy tower. On the way there, Penelope tried to explain what had happened during the astronomy lesson. "Professor Flamsteed wasn't himself at the start of the lesson today. He told us to call him Captain Hook, and he said he was a substitute professor. It looked like he didn't know anything about astronomy or what he was supposed to teach us except for what was written in the lesson plans that he had. He yelled 'bad form' a lot, threatened to make some people walk the plank, and locked a few students in the closet. There were other students who were Aladdin and Peter Pan, and Hook was trying to fight them. Lex and a few other students were recruited as pirates. When it was time for the activity, he threw Pebbles across the room and told us that she would sprinkle pixie dust on everyone and make us fly. I left the room after that, so I can't tell you everything, but I heard that there was a puréed food fight." That should be enough explaining for now. The other girls would be able to fill Romanos in on the rest of the details when they got to the astronomy tower.
