It always has been loose, but its also admin call... as long as someone can show a few posts from a term it counts, even if they haven't been completely active.

This is what it says in the site notice post advertising sorting/re-sorting:

If you are interested in Re-Sorting but are uncertain if you qualify, please consider applying anyway, or contacting BanaBatGirl via PM. The requirements for re-sorting HAVE recently changed. However, remember that once re-sorted, you will remain in your new house for the next seven terms.

At least the new greens are coming out of the wood work now.

I can't wait to stalk everyone, alllll the pretty colours. I have a feeling this term will be super interesting and closer where the race for the house cup is concerned.

I love, love, love a close race! It makes things WAY more interesting than a landslide win. I remember when I first joined, it was ALWAYS a close race, and people were so interested right up until the very end. A mere final would make or break the whole thing. Lately, it's seemed like one house has it from the beginning and just keeps it until the end. It'll be so much fun to see a close race!
