The train has pulled into Kings Cross Station ending another school term at Hogwarts. Let's wave goodbye to the Term 36 school chat and say hello to the shiny new Term 37 school chat.
Now's the time to talk your little heads off about who's doing what during their summer vacation and and what the newly graduated students will do now that they don't have to go back to Hogwarts. Now that everyone is back to their feisty young selves, what kind of trouble will they get themselves into next? Will all the staff return after the crazy term we just had or are we in for a new batch of professors? What about the Headmistress? Will she come back or will she hang up her leadership role in fear of losing her beautiful red hair and wrinkle free skin again? Who will be the new prefects and captains? What kind of danger lurks around the school for us next term?

I kinda think of the atmosphere around Hogwarts as the scenes in the movie "The Day after Tomorrow." Bitter cold ready to cause harm to anything out of doors for any length of time.
As for flying away...a comparison to the scene where the helicopter carrying escapees freezes in flight and drops like a stone. So I think that's out.

The owls left and the bees and any small animal that was still out there went to their final slumber, so I'd say it's too cold to fly on a broom.
I still want to see Alexa Cambridge try to break into the Headmistress office for the floo network.. It's so funny in my head.
Vic thinks a certain Potions professor should be the one sneaking to use the floo network, she's worried.. haha

Well, Sophie doesn't actually WANT to fly off right now (because what would be the fun in that?), so it's all good anyway. Kat, I was kind of thinking the same thing about the brooms.
Now come the last day of school, and they are STILL snowed in, I think Sophie will be ready to try ANYTHING at that point.
