Madame Puddifoot's Madame Puddifoot's is a quiet tea shop where you can meet up with your friends. |
xD What a quaint little place. Tugging off her gloves as she stood near the doorway, awaiting the moment where the cold would stop following them after Airey shut the door, Medea took the first moment to glance around. You know, it was a lot better than what she was expecting it to be. Not nearly as corny as she'd heard. "It's actually not bad." she muttered, unable to take her eyes off one of the heart shaped cushion sitting upon a seat. ...creative. |
Stumbling to find balance without his cane, Airey attempted to pull Medea's chair out for her to sit on and definitely took notice of the heart shaped cushion. "At least it isn't a foot?" he chuckled as he gestured for her to sit down. Foot...PuddiFOOT...get it? Ahem. Unable to find the strength to push in her seat, he hobbled over to his own and took a seat before glancing over the menu. "Oh look, they have a selection of pudding as well," he mused as his eyes squinted at the prices. "Sweet solstice, 2 galleons for tea and scones? Why I was a boy it was 2 knuts and we had to fight off velociraptors to get at the clotted cream." |
Thank Merlin, indeed. Giggling softly, she reached out to help with the chair, though retracted her hand back to her gloves. He'd gotten it well enough. Though she wasn't all that surprised to find the cushion was pleasantly soft. Cushion-y. Too bad the prices of tea weren't the same. "You aren't that old, Airey." she said, lifting the menu up just a little more so only her eyes peaked out from the top. She glanced to him, eyes narrowed as if hinting she was smiling. "You are far too handsome to haff been born in the cretaceous period." |
Settling into his seat a bit more, he sort of wished that he had two cushions to set on and perhaps one for his back as well. Would anyone mind if he were to summon one from a nearby table? Maybe after he ordered something. Pudding DID sound good right now... Meeting her gaze as she spoke, he wished she would lower the menu he could actually see the smile that he knew was there. He could feel his wrinkly and age spot covered cheeks growing warm and he breathed in as he was breathing out. The not old he could believe, especially since he was still very much young at heart. The handsome, well, she was being far too generous. "I still have my hair at least," he replied as he patted his silver head. "But I certainly don't look young anymore, Medea. Don't feel it so much either. I look like I could be your grandfather instead of your..you know." That word. The one that he couldn't believe he could use to identify himself as. He glanced down at his menu and sighed. "I was hoping to take you dancing sometime, a proper dance...but all I think we'll be able to do are these sit down sort of...........things." Saying the word date was still weird. Not a bad weird. It was just a word that he hadn't been able to ever associate with himself and now that he could, well, it just didn't roll off the tongue so easily. Same with the b word. |
Alexa had been looking forward to this since the start of term feast. Kinda weird to think she'd be looking forward to a date but then it wasn't a real one, it was just A LOT OF FOOD. Her and Jun were going to have a field day with this place. Breakfast was skipped completely just to make space for all the yummy food. Entering, she realized she'd beaten him there. No problem. She took a table by the window and had no problem waiting. Good thing she brought her candy bag with her. Merlin knew how long he'd be...hopefully not too long? Candy could only fill her so much and all the smells in here were making her extra hungry. Hey wasn't that Professor Airey and Professor Romanos? She would have waved but they looked busy and her hand was already busily rummaging through her bag. Sugar quill. Perfect. |
Quote:
Spotting two of his professors, he decided not to bother them and walked further inside. Till he noticed Lex but the window and slid into the seat in front of her. "I hope you weren't here too long," And of course, she was already starting on her candy. Too bad he didn't bring his today. |
"Did you see, Alec? Those kids nearly knocked us down on their way into Zonko's! No respect and they didn't even apologize. So rude." Ella held on to the Head boyfriend's hand tightly, other hand supporting her back as she entered Madame Puddifoot's. The blonde (thanks to hair dye) was rather grumpy about how crowded it was in the village as she was hoping for a quiet trip in with Alec but no such luck. Instead they were left trying to navigate through the crowds and all while moving at a snail's pace. Did no one see they were walking as they pushed by? Merlin! At least it was warm and relatively quiet in here. There was tea here too which sounded brilliant after being out in the cold. She was still shivering slightly as she glanced over at Alec and smiled. "Well, where do you want to sit?" She was anxious to get comfortable after their walk in. Oh and hey, was that Professor Airey and Professor Romanos? BROWS. Ella nudged Alec gently and motioned her head And was that... ...erm...Lox? On a date?! Alec wasn't going to like that. |
Quote:
She shifted her focus to the table again at the arrival of her company. "Nah." She held the sugar quill for him to see she'd only gotten about half way through it. "Still on the same sugar quill. Not that long." Though it could be argued it was a long time to have to wait for sugary treats. Eh. He was here now. Alexa reached for one of the menues at the centre of the table, flipping it open she found herself questioning why she'd never been here before. "I'm getting a sugar rush just reading all this stuff." She confessed with a grin. All this SUGAR. |

Disapproving looks and frowns had been shot towards them before Alec slowly headed into Madam Puddifoot's after Head Girlfriend. Not bad, this place. Certainly better than the dangerous, overcrowded high street back there. And hold hands was nice, did she know? Really nice. It felt comfortable and normal and made him feel better and younger than he had been feeling lately. Grey hairs were evil. Where to sit? "How about..." He cast his eyes around the area before slowly walking over towards a table that wasn't too far away. They had back pain to be dealing with, you know. And these seats looked comfortable to him. More comfortable than walking. "... here? What do you think?" And sweet? What was she-- ... Oh! Was that... SQUINT. Flamsteed? And... more squinting. Romanos? "If they start kissing, do you think we'd get away with it too?" And was it only going to be the Head Couple and the Profe-- ... O__O ... NO. No no NO. DISAPPROVAL FROM THE HEAD BOY. Grey-blue eyes widened at the sight in front of him and he held a hand over his heart. His poor, brotherly heart that was shattering at the image of Candy... on a DATE?! No she wouldn't do such a thing. Right? She was only... what? Twelve? Was she? He didn't know. Whatever her age, she was still that little girl he had met back at the Leaky Cauldron. Ah, the memories. Sweet old memories. ... Alarm bells started ringing in his head. He needed a profile on this guy. Who was he? What were his intentions with Alec's Candy? Questions. He had them. ... Maybe he could interrogate the guy. He cast a look over at the pair before glancing back at Ells. "Do you know that young man?" he whispered. |
Quote:
Slowly following the Head Boy as he headed towards a table, the eighteen year old kept casually glancing back over towards the professors. She could see them much better with her new glasses and her peepers weren't hurting nearly as much which made for good Ella eased into her seat quite slowly and squirmed a bit before she got completely comfortable. "They just don't make chairs like they used to." How did people SURVIVE these days with such uncomfortable seating? Surely these weren't the same chairs that the couple had sat in on their first ever date. "Of course we can kiss. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem at all." And if it was, she'd just lodge a complaint. They weren't in school so it shouldn't matter at all. O____________O Why was he clutching his heart like that? WAS HE HAVING A HEART ATTACK?! Ella's first aid courses when she was a kid had never covered that and what was she meant to do if he- Wait, what was he whispering now? "Huh?!" something about knowing he had sweaty hands? "Well just wipe them on your pants or something if they're sweaty, Alec." She'd thought he liked holding hands. |
Quote:
Jun laughed. "Do you get the bad sugar rushes where you just go crazy?" he grinned. He did that once. Needless to say, there were more than a few broken things in their house and that's when his mum made him and Kai cut back. Drastically. Though, she couldn't control him here in Hogwarts so he was going to fulfill his heart's content. "Maybe we should start with something small and go bigger later?" Mhm, starting small usually made a bit more room for bigger desserts later. Oh. Jun almost forgot. "I brought you back some Korean candy from my trip," he grinned, reaching into his pocket and setting the small bag in front of her. "I have more in my bag but since I didn't bring it, I brought you a bit from what I got you," And his bag had lots of different kinds for her to try. "They look like stones, but it's just chocolate. More like M&Ms," |
SPOILER!!: Jun~ She chuckled but shook her hand. "I've never been known to slowly devour candy. Getting half way there took no time at all." As far as she knew but it might have been somewhat long. The Gryffindor wasn't aware of the fact that she'd been eating everything slower since recently. Looking over, she spotted Hair Boy and El-something.....Merlin tell her this wasn't happening again. Her memory had been on the in's and out's. It was a miracle she remembered most anything anymore but she should have remembered the girl.... Er.... El...Ell...erm...--Ella! Right. Lex gave them both a smile and a wave before looking to Jun again. How honestly was she prepared to answer his question? Hmm...Lex gave it some thought then shrugged, deciding he wouldn't judge her because he was a candy addict too. "You could say that. It's like I go super hyper, can't sit still or anything and you'd think I'd stop eating when this happens but my intake just doubles." It was kinda like...not wanting to come off the sugar rush once she'd gotten on it. Sugar had a way of making her very happy. "Starting small sounds like a plan. We could start with the croissants. Those shouldn't be too big, yeah?" Her eyes were still scanning the menu when she heard what sounded like the mention of candy and it had her eyes darting back to him immediately. Lex dropped the menu without a second thought and reached instead for the candy being offered. "Neat, you remembered!" She didn't care what they looked like, he just said they were chocolate and that was all she needed to hear. "Thanks! And you said you brought more for me too?" |
Quote:
It was easy to get tired after a bit of walking. Very easy. Though, maybe he should have let the girl know when he was going to stop by the table so she wouldn't end up bumping into him. He jumped a little and looked back at her only to... blink. And raise his eyebrows. Love? That was a first. "That's fine, Ells. Your love, I can be." And he bent over slowly -- OW! -- and kissed the back of her hand. What a loving gesture. When that was done and the Head Girl had taken her seat, Alec proceeded to do the same. Yes. Seats. Better than standing. How kids did that these days, he didn't know. "Sorry, I didn't quite catch that, girlfriend," Had she said something? Or was it something else? Maybe from the Professor couple over there. And speaking of... "Thank you. It would be my pleasure to kiss you," he said, shooting her a smile before picking up his menu. Now... where was the ham. ... Erm... what?! Did she say... sweaty HANDS?! "Who...?" ... Oh. OH. "Does he have sweaty hands?!" He. That guy over there sitting with Candy, who was, funnily enough, handing out candy. It always started from the candy. ... Oh look! Was that a wave? Alec smiled and waved back at Candy. See? She had been brought up properly, unlike other young kids with their flower crowns and gadgets and gizmos. And nods for the young man. |
Quote:
The hand kiss was a nice touch though the Head Girl was a bit confused by Alec's wording. It sounded vaguely familiar though she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Some wise...green guy talked like that. Little green wise guy? No, wise green little guy. Erm.. ... ...Yoda! Yoda. Airey would be so proud! Ella blushed and replied sheepishly, "Really glad, am I." Ehehe. He didn't catch that? "But I didn't throw anything?" Confused Ella was confused and she tapped her chin thoughtfully as she eyed the boyfriend person. Had that Lox girl thrown some candy at him or something? Not nice, Loxy. SQUINTS for you. As for kissing, Ella grinned. "You'll have to come sit by me, though. I don't think I'll be moving any time soon." She'd just gotten semi-comfy so no kisses unless he was making a trip to her side of the table. Just saying. And following his lead, Ella picked up her own menu and scanned the choices. She was in the mood for...toast and tea today. Could she get that? He? He who? "I only hold your hand, Summers." So no, she had no idea of this mysterious he and whether or not his hands were sweaty like her boyfriend's apparently were. Oh and Lox was waving at them. Waveeeeee! "What a dear." To interrupt her date to wave. Nice kid, Loxy was. |
SPOILER!!: Prefect Candy Jun grinned. So then if Lex was on her fifth piece, they he would've been late. Maybe even. But yeah, anyway. Being curious as always, Jun turned his head to see the head boy and girl in the shop too. Their names didn't even come to mind. But it bothered him that he knew the head girl from somewhere else but couldn't remember. It was like that time he literally had forgotten what his cousins' name was. Thankfully Shin and Kimberly didn't mind, with them now knowing he was a wizard and explained what was going on with him. Hence the gray hair. But then he had already dyed it all gray and no one really questioned it. They were probably used to him with different hair color by now. Jun snorted. "Would throwing water on you help? Or hexes will happen?" he smirked, but that answer was obvious. Hexes. But just imagine hexes being thrown around by two people who find it their specialty to do so? Nothing would really end up well there. Jun nodded. Croissants sounded good to him. "Mhm, let's get those first," Because he would probably just nibble on it. His appetite has gotten weird ever since coming back from Christmas break. But he wasn't going to let himself believe it was because of the weird thing going around. Which really needed to just go by now. "Uh, kind of? My brother kept reminding me to buy it but I couldn't remember who it was for.." Seriously, dumb memory issues. Thankfully, he had written it down in his book before everything got worse. He nodded. "At least I think it's for you. Again, my brother got it and dumped it all in my bag. Some isn't chocolate from what I saw, but most of it is," |
Quote:
See? This was the great thing about his girlfriend. She went along with his weird. Grins for you, blushing girlfriend. "You're blushing, you know." ... He... probably wasn't meant to point that out but he was going to do so anyways. ... Erm... what? "Why... would you be throwing something?" They were in a shop, not the Quidditch pitch. Quidditch pitches were good for throwing things. Please don't throw things, girlfriend, the shopkeeper would throw them out. And then they'd be back out there with the rowdy kids. ... He... didn't want that. Safety reasons, you know. Keep the Head Girl safe. "I love you so... I can muster up enough energy to move there and kiss you." Another loving gesture. Kisses in a teashop. And... speaking of... "See anything you like from the menu?" "I... thank you," Confusing girlfriend was confusing today. "But... I don't have sweaty hands." He even held his hands up in the air above the table so she could see it. There. ... Dear? Oh! Candy! "She hasn't got mashed potatoes for brains," Good. "I still want to know who the young lad is." |
Ready to order ^^ SPOILER!!: He forgot it was for her XD Leave it to a Ravenclaw to try finding a solution to everything, even things that weren't problems to begin with. She gave a firm shake of her head. "Nope. Not at all. My reflexes are better when I'm on a sugar rush." Good reflexes where excellent to have. It's why Alice let her have candy before matches even though they were meant to be on this super strict diet to make sure they didn't go flopping and sluggish all over the Quidditch Pitch. Personally she didn't see what the big deal was so despite her Captain forbidding it, she had all the candy she wanted. Lex followed Jun's gaze and spotted that Ella girl--see she remembered this time--waving back. Were they on a date over there? Was she interrupting? Could they be nice enough to warn her before they started any kissing? That would be fantastic. Having both decided on croissants first, Alexa looked around for the lady in charge of this place. Er...was she just meant to yell or.....? Lex leaned onto the table and whispered. "I don't see the Shopkeep Lady. How exactly are we meant to get her?" Lex was quite sure that if they broke something she'd be out in a flash but that would have been counter-productive because they weren't trying to get kicked out. Whaaaat?? Lex leaned back in her seat, a look of disbelief present. He FORGOT whether it was for her or not? "It's for me, trust me. All of it. Even the ones you didn't bother taking with you." Just in case he got any bright ideas about handing them out in the Ravenclaw Common Room later when she couldn't see. "How many did you get with chocolate in them?" |
Quote:
She did know, thank you very much. Ella bit her lip and brought her hands up to her face, covering her cheeks and willing the red to go away. "Just cause it's there doesn't mean you have to point it out, Alec Summers." And she made a stern face at him. Why would she be throwing something? "You're the one who said you hadn't caught something and I thought..." Oh Merlin, she was losing her gobstones. She should probably be worried about this. Probably. "Never mind." They could just forget she'd said anything, yeah? And when he said he loved her, she did forget what they'd been saying before. She smiled too and her stomach got those butterflies. It was nice, hearing that. "I love you too. Lots and lots." And it was really nice that he still loved her even though she was going blind and was partially deaf and was more wrinkly and grey than an elephant. He was showing her his hands? "But you said..." Had she misheard him again? The blonde frowned slightly and tugged at her right earlobe absently. This was a bad sign, yeah? "I guess I heard you wrong." Sorry about that, boyfriend. The eighteen year old perked up slightly at the mention of mashed potatoes because YUM and watched the Lox girl curiously, just then noticing who was with her. "I do know...actually." Or at least she thought it was the same guy. "I think he was my fellow intern at Magical Menagerie. His name was...June or something." Maybe. Possibly. ...June, though? Hm. |
Quote:
This was going to be one of those times when he had to grin so she wouldn't be too mad, right? Awesome. Grinning was happening. "But it's great! Don't cover them up, embrace it," Nodnod. ... Yeah... he was confused. "I did?" Caught something... Why would he say something like that? "You sure?" Because he'd much rather sort out whatever-- ... GRIN. Lots and lots. "I'm really glad that you do." See? This was nice. Even if these seats weren't as comfortable as the sofa they liked to cuddle on back in the common room. ... Oh food. "Oh a bacon buttie! Look, Ells, they have cheese and crackers!" Good old healthy snack. "Tea sounds great. I might get some too," Better than coffee they served in shops. Too much sugar. And speaking of sugar, half of the things on the menu seemed to be swimming in the stuff! And the prices? A small frown formed on his face before he said, "Yeah... they certainly weren't that high back in the day." Maybe... he should stop showing her his hands? Yeah. Letting them drop down again, he frowned a little at her. "Erm... has that been happening a lot lately?" Because she should get that looked at with the Healer. ... Wait... "You do?!" Way to withhold vital information, Bishop. "June... June... what is he like?" |
Lux, Bart, Louis and Kace? Maybe all of you? XD Emmylou "Toucan" Duchannes was ready for her very first trip to Hogsmeade, this would be the closest that she would be to Hogwarts besides going to that Ravenclaw verses Slytherin match. Even though she knew little to nothing about Quidditch she had loads of fun at the match. Once again her butthead roommates had replaced HER clothes with nicer and girlier clothes, she had a feeling that they burned her clothes, she really hoped that they didn't because she had nice close but she might be wrong AND they put more make up on her face. |
Quote:
Looking around, it was not long before she spotted Emmylou, who she had met recently at a Quidditch game. Smiling, she approached the girl, taking a seat in the chair beside her. "Hey! How are you doing, Emmy?" |
Mention of Lux :) SPOILER!!: Emmylou :3 Kace was walking around Hogsmeade. He missed this place a lot. He loved when all the shops were opened and just seeing the cheery atmosphere. He got invite from twitter that he was supposed to meet Emmylou here. He was kind of excited to meet her. They had a lot in common and it was just nice to meet people in person ya know? He was told to meet at Madame Puddifoots which was cool, he was craving something sweet and wanted some tea. As he went inside the store, he saw her and waved. "Hey Emmylou!" he said letting her know he was here. He also saw a new girl and nodded towards her and gave her a warm smile. |
Toucan, Lady Lux and Kace! As a new student enjoying his first term at Hogwarts, Louis had never been to Hogsmeade before. So finding the place Toucan and Lady Lux had been talking about was a bit challenging. However, once he spotted the cozy little teashop in one corner of the street, he couldn’t believe how blind he’d been. It was a little hard to miss a place so… pink. And girly. With his hands buried in the pockets of his trousers to avoid the cold, Louis walked into the little shop. It didn’t take very long to spot the other three kids - Lux’s bright hair made an excellent landmark. “Lady Lux!” he beamed at the sight of his Little Lady of the House of Hufflepuff, greeting her by ruffling her bright red hair playfully. He turned his blue-eyed gaze to Emmylou next, putting on a face of mock disappointment. “Toucan! Where’s your beak?” He chuckled softly and proceeded to sit across from the two girls, next to a younger boy he’d never met before. “Hey, mate. I’m Louis,” he introduced himself, offering the boy a hand in friendly greeting. |

SPOILER!!: Boyfriend Person "Yeah, definitely." It was sad in a way too. A lot of things were different now and people had come and gone and she sometimes wished they could go back. Only sometimes, though. At least back then she wasn't wrinkly and grey. And...clearly she'd freaked him out by implying that they were the ones who had changed so she bit her lip and nodded slowly. "I just mean...do you ever wonder what's going on with us? I knew eighteen would make me feel old but I never thought I'd feel like this." And yeah, this was probably not the kind of talk suited for a date but it was sort of too late to turn back now. The grinning was totally working, by the way. It always did which made Ella think he had an unfair advantage when he annoyed her. Reluctantly the Head Girl smiled too and lowered her hands, lacing them together instead. "If you say so, Alec." She still thought tomato colors were best meant for the garden or a salad but what did she know? "I don't know now, honestly. I could've sworn..." She was confused now, and also wondering if she was imagining things. Could be possible, actually. Her body was doing weird things so it wasn't so far fetched to think her mind would follow after it. It was slightly worrisome, though. She'd just worry later, yeah? Handsome boyfriend to pay attention to now and all that. "Can't help it. It's easy to feel that for you." Oh gosh, that was cheesy. Cheesy...cheese. Had he mentioned cheese and crackers? "Mmm! That does sound lovely. We should have some of that most definitely." And as Alec agreed with her on the prices, Ella noticed a couple of unused sugar packets and casually placed a hand over them, sliding them in the direction of her now open purse. "Sometimes, yeah. I guess a bit more now than a few days ago?" Her memory was a bit fuzzy so she wasn't too sure when it had started but she could see it concerned Alec and so she smiled. "No worrying, okay. M'sure everything is fine." She hoped so, anyway. June...what was June like? "Um...he seemed okay. I'm pretty sure he likes creatures just as much as me which makes him cool in my book." But other than that, she didn't know much. Not much chance to chat during their internship. Creatures to attend to and all that. "Why, you want to interrogate him or something?" That thought was actually amusing and Ella smiled a little, eyebrows raised. |
SPOILER!!: LUX Emmylou looked around, she hadn't ordered anything yet. Emmy wouldn't normally go into a shop like this but she was cold, she really wanted to know where her roommates put her jeans! The poor girl just wanted to wear her jeans and a sweatshirt but she knew she didn't want to wear this skirt or this shirt or this coat but the boots were alright. Emmylou had been complain about a lot of stuff in her head but on the exterior it seemed as if she always wore this stuff, she was pretty good at not letting her feelings show unless it was something that threw her over the edge. Emmy waved the redhead over to the table. SPOILER!!: KACE Between the talking Emmy would glance up at the shops doors to see if anyone else would walk right through. Kace had told her that he was going to show up, she really hoped that he did. Emmy met Kace on twitter and found out he went to Hogwarts and she was so happy because she could meet him now and not wait until the summer. Emmy could tell that Kace would be like best friend material but that's how she thought about everyone, she wasn't in liking boys...yet but she knew it would come along one day and hit her right in the face, she hoped it wasn't soon. SPOILER!!: LOUIS Now there was two people missing, Emmy really hoped that Louis and Bart would show up, mostly Bart because he was commentating the last time she had seen him. Emmylou smiled at the others, where were these two. They weren't late she was just super excited. THERE HE WAS! HER NEW FRIEND, LOUIS! She still needed a nickname for him but she needed to know him more because she sucked at giving nicknames. |
SPOILER!!: He even forgot his own cousins' names XD Yeah, no. "See, now I don't want to be around you during a sugar rush. You might end up killing me or something," Or just seriously injure. Lex looked like the type. Plus they had this type of conversation before at the entrance hall. Which is how they started planning these dates and all. And if her reflexes were better, it was a sure thing Jun would stay away from her. Up in his dorm, in the claw tower. Yup. Hm, that was a good question. Maybe if he yelled loud enough she would appear. But then be kicked out and not allowed back. That was so not happening. "Yelling won't help. She'll get upset. Maybe just wait it out a bit longer?" It was their only safe bet for now. Or walk up to the counter and call out to her. But that required more effort. "I'm sure she'll pop out soon," "Yeah, I figured. Wrote it down in my notebook and then I started losing my memory while I was away. You're lucky my brother kept reminding me," Thank goodness for Kai too. Him and his annoying ways of reminding Jun who to get gifts for. And it was gifts only for girls. Welp. "Um, I think like five other bags of chocolate? I'll have to check again when I get back," |
SPOILER!!: Louis! :3 As Kace entered the shop, he noticed he wasn't the only dude here. As he was looking around for familiar faces, he noticed someone was introducing himself. He looked up and noticed it was a gryffindor, so he hadn't seen him around. He got up from his seat and shook his hand friendly. "Hey mate, i am Kace. Nice to meet ya." he smiled. "Glad i am not the only boy here." he joked with him. Quote:

Text Cut: Head Girlfriend So... this wasn't a great topic, was it? No. He probably shouldn't have brought something like this up. Maybe he could... lighten it up a little? "Erm... there are some great things we have now that... we didn't have before?" Clearly he wasn't that good at this. Clearly. What's going on with them? Alec frowned a little and nodded too. "I guess?" Shrug. "I mean... you're not meant to be getting grey hairs at eighteen, right? And eighteen's not... that old." But they were the oldest two students in the school. ... Right? Of course the grinning would work. Tactics. He was glad to see that the girl was smiling in return, though. And she had uncovered her face! Success! "Yeah, I do! You have nothing to worry about, yeah?" You know, if she had been worried that it looked bad. More confused looks were given over towards the girl. Lots of confusion. "I'm sure it's nothing," Shrug. So she didn't need to worry about it, yeah? Because if he knew her, he knew that she tended to worry a lot. And this was a date! This was meant to be nice and a time for the two to relax from their duties and studies. And... cheesy. The girl was providing the cheesiness. A sheepish expression crossed the Head Boy's face. "It's easy to feel that way about you too, you know," GRIN. Did she want cheese and crackers too? "I... hope they make them like they used to." And.. what... was she doing? He stole a quick glance over at the shopkeeper before looking back at the Head Girl. "Sugar?" Of course he was going to be worrying. He frowned a bit more when she mentioned that this had gotten worse over the past couple of days. That was enough to be worried about. "You sure? I mean, you could go and--" ... No. He knew how she felt about visits to the Healer. "... and get it checked out?" He liked creatures. Glances were made in that direction again. "Well... if you think he's a good guy..." Ells was a good judge of character, right? Right. "Erm... yeah! He's dating my pseudo sister, I have to know what his intentions are." It would be the same thing if Astrid was dating someone. ... Astrid wasn't dating anyone, right? |
Shopkeep at the end SPOILER!!: His memories gotten worse than hers I think XD Wait what? "Noooo." She insisted. "I'd only kill you if you tried killing me first or tried getting me down from my sugar rush. Those things are best left to run their course. Think of it more like....all the fun we can have while I'm on a sugar rush. You'd probably have to be on a sugar rush too to make it work but that's easily arranged." Because Jun liked large amounts of candy as well. Between the two of them they could do some serious damage when hyped up on sugar. Yelling was always an option and so was taking a walk behind the counter but she didn't think she could do either right now. Getting up was a lot of effort after having hobbled here in the first place and now having that subtle aching in her knees and yelling, holy kneazle she didn't even wanna think about the strain involved so maybe he was right and the woman would just show up. How very Ravenclaw of him. Writing things down was a good way to keep them in mind but by now she'd forgotten everything she would need to write down so it was a lost cause for her. "You should thank him for me." She said with a firm nod right before her eyes widened a bit and a wide grin spread across her face. "FIVE other bags of chocolate? Like legit??" hfaiyewgydwiudua!!! "You're the best! Are they like these? Do they have a marshmallow inside or all rock like??" Oh! There was the shopkeeper! Lex gave the woman a wide smile when she approached the table, practically bouncing now that they were a step closer to the SUGAR. "We wanted to order some croissants 'cause see, we wanna eat most of the sugary stuff you have to offer but wanted to start small. What would you suggest after the croissants?" You know, with them working their way up and all. |
SPOILER!!: Pretty sure it has! XD "You just confirmed that if I threw water at you, you'd kill me. I'll keep away till then," Or maybe just watch Lex go nuts from a safe distance. Merlin knew she'd ran up the walls if she could. But since they were wizards, they probably could. With the right charm and all. "Don't think you'd want me in one of those. Mum said I once ran around naked while on a sugar rush. Pretty sure I don't want that to happen again. Especially not here," Because there was a simple solution to that. Expulsion. Which he couldn't afford to get. EVER. He liked it here way too much and befriending Lex made it harder to leave. Jun nodded. "I'll be sure to include it in my next letter to him. Maybe ask for gummy worms while I'm at it," Because he couldn't just eat chocolate all the time. It was tasty and all, but other kinds of candy were usually best at times. "Yes, completely legit," Jun grinned. And they were somewhere in his enchanted bag. He'll have to dig it out later for when they met up again. "Uh, I'll have to check again at the dorm. I'm pretty sure they're all different kinds. Not too sure if they have marshmallow in them though," He really needed to check now. Kai had better not messed up the chocolate. Oh, good. The shopkeeper was finally here. And Lex was getting suggestions on what they should get later on. Most sugary things, please! |

Mitchie! <3 Late. Late. Late. Delilah stood outside Pudifoots and waited for Mitchie to turn up.. who was late, by the way. Seriously, WHY? The girl tucked a strand of her blonde hair behind her ears and scanned the street for her friend. The girl was FREEZING! Uh.. maybe she should go in and wait. It looked warm inside. And super crowded too.. Sigh. .. Maybe in another five minutes. Yeah. |
SPOILER!!: Jun and Grumpy Shopkeep Okay, so maybe she had said she'd kill him but that would technically only have been his fault. No one sees a sugar addict on a sugar rush and decides to throw water at her. It was a death wish in itself! Lex would have pointed this out too but was stopped by his next statement. "You ran around naked?" She asked, lowering her voice a bit but the expression on her face said it was probably the funniest thing she'd heard in a MONTH. Lucky for him she wasn't about to do some loud outrageous laughing but snickering was definitely happening. "How long ago was that? How old were you?" The last might have been the better question. That was something she'd expect from her 4 year old sister. Ooohhh!! "Yes, gummy worms too, see if he can send some and maybe those jaw breakers too. Merlin I haven't had one of those in ages." The last she'd seen a jaw breaker was possibly the summer before her first year at Hogwarts, before she started spending minimal time around muggles and didn't waste as much time going into muggle candy shops. The fact that he wasn't sure what KINDS he had didn't bother her too much. Candy was candy and even though he liked sour ones he must have at least remembered she didn't fancy them much so nothing to really worry about. "We're just gonna have to stop by the Ravenclaw Common Room later and find out." Something to look forward to. And wasn't the shopkeep a bunch of sunshine wrapped inside a sour face? Tut tut. "I can read Ma'am, I promise. I know what's on the menu and we're gonna have most everything. Just thought you could have helped us decided the order so we don't keep calling you after we've finished every plate. It could get annoying you know, all the walks back and forth. It's great exercise but at what cost? Having to see two annoying kids every ten or so minutes?" Just some food for thought. "And he's not my date. We're just on a date." Because that made sense. |
Allison was totally prepared for the cold weather but not this! She tried to walk through the flurry of snow, hail, and ice. She tried calling her friends but then remembered they'd left their phones at her apartment. She saw a shop as she aproached it she could see warm lights and tea. She ran as fast as she could and peeped through the window, fancy and not her kind of place but anything to get out of this storm. She opened the door stepped inside and the door slammed itself behind her. She felt heat rise to her cheecks and hoped nobody was staring at her |
SPOILER!!: Candy and rude lady Jun snorted and laughed. Reason why he has a duplicated candy bag that he shows his mum before heading to school. The real one always stayed tucked nicely in his trunk with the better candy. Out of all things to remember, why couldn't he forget that bad sugar rush. Merlin, it was a bad memory for him. "I think I was thirteen when it happened. Appearantly, I was jumping and running all over the place and broke some things," Which is grandmother was not happy about. Like at all. Every time he'd visit now, she's only give him water to drink and no treats. She was an evil woman for that. Jun couldn't even remember how the rush started, but thankfully he hadn't had one since. And he was going to keep it that way. Nod nod. "Loads of gummy worms and jawbreakers. He might throw in extra candy I forgot at home. Dunno what kind either," Hopefully it was some pepero because Jun was running low on those and they were his favorite. Especially the strawberry kind. Kai might also make him pay back all the money he spent on the candy. Ugh. Jun nodded. "Yup, and you can take the five bags of chocolate that I'm pretty sure are for you anyway," Unless one was for Midget. But he'll just tell Kai to send more later. Jun held back a look towards the shoplady. There was no need to be grump about things. This was her job anyway. And if she didn't want to do it, why not hire more help? But he was pretty sure she wouldn't want to split her money among others. So lighten up, Miss. |
SPOILER!!: ^__^ She was going to say 'like what' but Ella thought better of it. They weren't together first year and she hadn't been on the Quidditch team then, or on Yearbook, or had a chance to be Captain yet. All of those things had changed her and she wouldn't want to give any of it up, even if things with them were kind of crazy right now what with the aging and all. Really, she just needed to stop being such a downer. If Alec was going to try, so was she. And so she smiled a little and slowly reached for his hand, giving it a squeeze. "You're right, y'know." Smart guy, Alec was. And on her part, she shouldn't have questioned the aging, not now. It was too late to backtrack, though. "Do you think the healer is working on it? I mean, surely the Professors must have noticed what's going on with us." Clearly Culloden had, having had a wrinkle potion lesson and all. Nothing to worry about? "If you say so." She'd just have to take his word for it and she was pretty good at doing that. She was worrying. Totally was. Per usual, yeah? She just couldn't help it. Especially if this dumb old age epidemic was making her all weird and forgetful. Who would want to be around her if it got worse? She'd be all alone and deaf and talking to herself and then she'd die alone. Yup. And so when Alec said it was nothing to worry about, the eighteen year old nodded and said quietly, "I really hope so." And that was the last she'd say about it, yeah? They had nicer things to talk about. Things like him agreeing with her which caused her to grin like an idiot. "You're sweet, y'know." She was going to keep him. He also seemed hungry which was good because she was too. Time to eat, then? "I hope so too. Do you want to order now, then?" And oh gosh, he saw the sugar? So much for being stealth. "They want you to take it," She insisted, sliding the packets into her bag. "Why else would they buy in bulk?" The healer, Summers? Just no. Ella made a face and shook her head. "It's probably nothing, remember?" Hadn't he said that before. "Besides, if I need to go, so do you." And he didn't want to do that, did he? "I think, yeah. Maybe you should meet up with him, then? Try and see what he's really like so you'll know if he's good for her and stuff?" Could she come too? She was a super investigator so it totally made sense for her to interrogate him too. Just saying. |
Text Cut: RAWR He was right? Did this mean that she was feeling better about things being different now or... was she just... feeling too lazy to argue with him on this? The boy hoped it was the first one. The second one would be a sign of unresolved issues, right? Then it could come up later and... ... Alec shook his head before smiling over at-- Oh! Hand squeezes. Those were nice. "I'm... glad you think so," he said, giving her hand a small squeeze in return. They could talk about something else, yeah? Even... if talking about the ageing thing wasn't a great topic. It was a start. "I think... the Professors have noticed what's going on, yeah. Or some have. I mean... students getting grey hairs and wrinkles isn't hard to notice, right?" But the Healer? "Has she been around?" Alec did say so, yeah. He grinned some more at her and nodded. He liked She hoped so? Alec nodded in return but didn't say anything. There really wasn't much to say, yeah? He was still confused about what she had meant but... he was forgetting about that already. What he wasn't going to forget anytime soon -- fingers crossed -- was the way the Head Girl was smiling. She had a nice smile, did she know? "I'm just... honest," Really, it was the truth. ... And... he should stop staring at her smile, yeah? "Yeah, I'm hungry. You want me to call her over?" You know, since the girl was busy stowing away some packets of sugar in her bag. He glanced over at her, and then at the packets of sugar and then... burst out laughing. "What are you going to do with so much sugar, Ells?" Was she using his words against him? Had he said that? ... He... didn't know. "I... hope it's not." And she had a point about him needing to see the Healer too. "Clever. But... I'd... rather make sure that you're okay." Alec's eyes widened as he looked over at the other couple and then back at Ells. "That's a brilliant idea! I could... I could ask him everything I need to know. Like what his intentions are and... and if he's going to play with her heart." The last one was a BIG NO. That was not allowed to happen to Candy, okay? |
Quote:
It would. They'd gotten out of worse before. Yet, she found she couldn't rid herself of the persistent tremble of nerves crawling under her skin. Time wasn't on their hands, and there had been a lot of passed time already. Taking a deep breath, she shook the thoughts away, and smiled. "A proper dance, hmm?" |
Quote:
So soft and smooth. Such a stark contrast between his leathery and wrinkling skin. UG. A boyish smirk spread across his aged face and he somehow managed to give her hand a small squeeze before letting go. "Um, yes, proper dance..." he nodded. "Like...um...you know...a dance...perhaps a Valentines one...like...um...the one that the student leaders are putting on...and announced in the dance lesson I held and..." He was REALLY bad at doing this, you know? He HAD had a plan of sorts, a poorly thought out one, and now the execution was leaving something to be desired. "I mean...I guess what I am trying to say is...." THE ROSE! REMEMBER THE ROSE FLAMSTEED! "Will you be..." He reached into his charmed breast pocket, pulled out a single red rose, and offered it to her. ".......will you be my Valentine?" he shouted accidentally. Nerves and all. This was still new to him. Please? |
SPOILER!!: RAWR means I love youuu Hand squeezes were nice and Ella was just going to hold his hand for a bit, okay? It was much bigger than her hand, did he know? And she rubbed her thumb over the back of it absently as she listened to him talk. She liked that too, listening to Alec. And only when he'd finished did she offer something in return. "Yeah, it'd be pretty hard not to notice how lots of us are looking...and acting lately." Clearly something was up. "I don't know if she's been around but I haven't exactly sought her out. I'm sort of afraid of what she might say." Like no quidditch. Imagine? He was staring, Alec was. It made Ella blush even more but she didn't try and hide it this time. Taking his word for it, yeah? Instead she stared back, wondering if he knew what he was doing or not. "I like that. That you're honest, I mean." It was something she liked most about him, actually. Trust was something really important to the Head Girl. As for him calling the shopkeeper over, the eighteen year old nodded enthusiastically. "Yes please." She was hungry too. And what...was he laughing at her? Ella narrowed her green eyes slightly and put a finger to her lips, "Shhhh!" Way to call attention to it, Summers. "I don't know what I'll do with it but it's a waste, leaving them out like this. Maybe I'll donate them to the house elves." Good Samaritan, she was. Oh gosh, not this discussion again. Ella made a face and shook her head. "We're both important, okay? And I'm not going unless you do. That's final." So if he expected her to get checked out, he'd need to suck it up and go with her, and not for moral support. See? She could be smart! Ella smiled a little at his excitement and nodded her head. "Yeah, exactly. And boys these days, well they're not as trustworthy as they used to be, y'know? I definitely think you should look into it." Just like she'd be looking into any of the people Tobias was interested in. Just saying. |
Shopkeeper? ^_^ Text Cut: *loves* Alec didn't mind the fact that Ells was holding onto his hand. At least they weren't snogging in front of the professors and his pseudo sister and The blushing was really nice, did she know? The sight of it was enough to make the boy grin stupidly at her. It was nice that her cheeks did that. It meant that he was doing something correctly, yeah? Yeah. "Does that mean that you'll believe my compliments?" She had to! And he should call over the shopkeeper, yeah? Right... after she finished packing away the packets of sugar and after he finished laughing. "I... sorry! You're taking packets of sugar and..." SNORT. He shook his head before continuing, "That's a great plan! Just... don't tell them where you got it from?" The shopkeeper might not be impressed. And speaking of shopkeeper... Alec slowly put his hand up in the air. Hello? Shopkeeper? Was she nearby? It was obvious that he wasn't going to win this debate against the girl who wore the pants in the relationship. She was going to make him cave, wasn't she? "I... fine fine, okay. If it gets worse, we'll get it checked out, yeah?" We. Together. Head Boy and Head Girl. ... Because he wanted to get rid of the grey hairs as soon as possible. "No... no, they're not," The eighteen year old glanced over at the June boy, a small frown spreading across his face. "Them with their... their skateyboards and their caps that go the wrong way." Not a good choice for Candy. "But... what if I can't sound scary enough?" |
Quote:
Not that he minded. "Hey." he greeted spotting Delilah. "Shall we head inside?" Because he was ready to. It was kind of cold out and she had kept him waiting. ... and he was hungry. All good reasons to go in. |
SPOILER!!: Jun~ No. Way. Thirteen eh? Lex took a moment to try remembering what a sugar rush was like for her at Thirteen. Even then she didn't go around without clothes on. Candy usually made her hyper, not regrettably unaware or anything. Most it got her was fast talking, sharp shooting and the inability to sit still...like at ALL. She was practically bouncing off the walls once. "Breaking things is almost a given with a sugar rush. Sometimes I go a lot faster than my eyes are seeing and I run right into things. Can't tell you how many things I've broken but Daddy's not fussed. He just....waves a wand and they're fixed. It's nothing big." She said with a casual shrug. Though she was at the point where she wished she could wave her own wand during the breaks. What was the point of learning if she couldn't use it? "There was a point where he wanted to ban me from candy completely, said I was out of hand. Think I might have been 10? Yeah and I cried for a whole day." Sometimes you had to force tears to get what you wanted. The Gryffindor was never above doing that. Except, not now but when she was younger. Now she found other ways of getting what she wanted. Aw man, his memory really was getting shoddy. Actually leaving candy at home. She didn't think that was possible. Any and all candy she bought automatically went into her candy bag because she took it everywhere she went. "You should see the Healer. You know things are bad when you start forgetting candy." And there he went again with thinking they were for her. "Trust me. They're mine." Didn't she just say this? Jun needed to have a little faith. |
Quote:
But there were students about. There were always students. And talk of dancing! A proper dance. Her smile grew as he rambled on. Oh yes, there was a Valentines dance coming up, wasn't there? She'd nearly forgotten. And...goodness Merlin, what a beautiful red rose- o.o Hoping to all goodness in the world that he missed that little jump of surprise, she momentarily focused on composing herself, cheeks flushing as red as the rose. She'd never really taken Valentines day seriously, but...it had meaning now. A lot of meaning. Her smile slowly reappeared, hand shifting from sitting over her heart to reaching out for the rose. "Only if you'll be mine." |
Quote:
The panic on his wrinkly face was gone a few moments later - although it felt like an eternity to the astronomer - and his mouth hung open wide. Yes. She had just said yes. Well, not literally yes, but her answer implied as much. A response slowly began formulating in his head and slowly began transforming from just a thought into an action and his eyes locked with hers. "If I had a star for every time you brightened my day, especially since all of this started happening, I’d have a galaxy in my hand...of course I will." The moment would have been even BETTER for him if he could actually see her face clearly. |
Quote:
"Hey. Yes, we can.. after you tell me why you're late." Delilah tucked her hands deep into the pockets of her jacket ( she really was FREEZING ) but, no. She wanted to listen to his excuse first. The girl raised an eyebrow at him. So? |

Kace, Toucan, Lux! <3 Louis smiled politely when Kace shook his hand and introduced himself. “Nice meeting you, too.” Since they were all in casual attire, he couldn’t tell which House the boy belonged to immediately. “Which House are you in, by the way?” he asked, assuming it couldn’t have been Gryffindor or else he would’ve seen him around in the common room. Louis laughed at Toucan’s comment about hiding her beak with a spell. “That’s some advanced spellwork you’ve done there. I could’ve never guessed,” he said, eyebrows raised. “Are we looking at a pontential Ravenclaw, perhaps?” Hmm? |
SPOILER!!: this boy does wonders XD "See? For you it's no big deal breaking things. But when almost all members of your family are muggles, things don't get fixed so easily," And that's why Jun wished the next year would come quickly so he can be seventeen already. But now he found out he had a cousin who was a wizard too. Jun had too many cousins to begin with. Some needed to go. Like pan-faced cousin Andy. He was the first one who would be thrown off the boat. She cried? LEX cried? Maybe not something Jun would've pictured so far. But sure it was possible especially if candy, mainly chocolate was involved. Still, he let out a snort. "Did you really cry for a day? You could've just eaten candy whenever your dad wasn't around. Or thrown some at him for being dumb," Maybe that would work? Then again her dad might keep those candies from her. So no. Jun laughed and shook his head. "I'll just tell my brother to send it all. And I'm sure I forgot some for another friend of mine. And maybe a gift I bought?" He shrugged. Wow, his memory was just a mess now. Stupid aging thing that was going around. They needed to fix them already. Grin. I'm a hundred percent positive they're yours. I don't know anyone who likes chocolate that much for me to buy five bags of it," And thankfully Korean money wasn't so higher in value when buying things. He actually saved a lot of money buying all the candy he could. |

"You haff a vay vith vords, Airey Flamsteed." she said softly with bashful smile, breaking eye contact for fear she'd blush even more. If that were possible. It must have been completely unattractive already, what with her naturally pale skin. Perhaps ordering tea would make it better. |

Speaking of food, Lux needed to look at the menu and decide what she wanted to have. Quote:
Still smiling as he ruffled her hair, she felt even happier because he was one of her best mates. "How are you, my lovely Squire." She would have given him a curtsy if she was not already sitting down, but oh well. "Have you seen Bay recently?" Just curious, because she had not talked to him in a little while. Quote:

For Lux :3 *too lazy to quote* Kace smiled when the fellow girl introduced herself. "Hello Lux, i am Kace." he held out his hand for a handshake. He needed to be polite. It was what his parents taught him. It was in his DNA. She seemed familiar before but he couldn't quite place it. He shrugged it off as he was talking to Louis. Then he looked over and heard she was in hufflepuff too. He smiled and his eyes went wide. "Oh you are?!" he asked. "That is why i have seen you before. Small world right?" he asked her jokingly. "Are you recently new to Hogwarts, are you in your third year?" he asked curiously. |
With a head full of gray hair and a peppered goatee, Caleb Newell was barely recognizable. His wrinkles had rapidly advanced to the point where he was actually USING that stuff they made in potions, unlike when they'd brewed it and he hadn't needed to use it. And look what good it did him! He still looked like a prune! He entered the tea shop, shivering as he did so - he was cold like ALL THE TIME NOW - and looked at the menu. He scowled and began to yell. "Can't you just get a plain old cup of tea? What's with all these fancy drinks? Everything is so complicated these days! I remember when I could go into a shop and get just a plain old cup of tea, no fancy syrups and whipped toppings and all that junk!" he exclaimed grumpily. This country was going to the dogs. |
Quote:
"I..um...I...can honestly say I h-haven't ever been told that," he mumbled as he shook his hand slightly. Ouchie. "G-Guess you just bring it out in me." And he was kind of glad for her not looking at him. He was pretty sure that his ears were on fire already. "SO, um, wh-what do you want?" |
Quote:
WHAT was wrong with that boy? It WAS a boy, right? It was too small to be a proper actual man, Ruby was sure of it. She'd STALKED him with great curiosity, wanting to have a good stare at this weird boy. Was it make up? Was he doing some kind of avant garde street performance? She walked right up and peered at him. "What's wrong with your face?" |
Quote:
Emmylou bounced around in her seat. She was super happy and really hyper from her sugary breakfast this morning. She really needed to lay off the sugar...forever! "THAT'S AWESOME! This Hogsmeade place is so amazing." Maybe that was her new favorite word to use, 'amazing'. Yeah! Emmylou looked down at the menu. "I don't know, maybe some kind of tea." she didn't know if she wanted something to eat or not. Quote:
Emmy felt like jumping up and down and flailing around. This was the best day ever, she would have to come back here for her birthday in a couple of weeks, she couldn't want to be a teenager! It would be so awesome to be a teenagers and be almost all grown up and stuff like that. "This place is amazing." and maybe a little to girly for her liking but they had tea! "WAIT! You're allowed to have a dog here?" Was that true? Could she have a dog instead of buying an owl? She didn't have to buy a dog, she already had one. Emmy wanted to see the puppy really bad. She loved dogs and puppies but cats were a different story. Quote:
Emmy laughed. "It's some very advanced spell work that I can't do on my own." Emmylou grinned. The blonde had to eplain one important detail about the spell though. "Well I let the older students at Beauxbatons do the spell." Were the Ravenclaw's the smart ones? They had to be the smart ones. Emmy was smart but she didn't think she was smart enough for Ravenclaw. "I'm smart but I'm not smart enough to be in that house." Then an idea popped into her brain. "Do you think Hogwarts would let me use a Toucan instead of an owl?" She blinked at him, they were both birds and she could train the toucan to send letters and stuff like that. |
Quote:
"Let's." She gave him a small smile before linking an arm through his. "I'm hungry and cold." More cold, yes. |
Quote:
And now that they were inside, he shrugged off his jacket. "Are you still cold?" |

"Nothing, you should see YOUR face," he snapped, although there really was nothing wrong with hers, he just had no other comeback. "And if you must know I am infected with a very terrible and probably FATAL disease!" he added dramatically. Probably NOT fatal. He hoped. |
Ethan had wanted to take Minerva somewhere special for Valentine's Day and, while Hogsmeade might not seem like the obvious choice, it did hold special meaning for him in regards to his relationship with his wife for several reasons. After dropping off Gunnar with his parents for the evening, it was only a few floo trips away to the Scottish town. Ethan walked through the street with Minerva's hand in his and he smiled lightly to himself as he thought about the last time they were here for Valentine's Day. How much had changed in a year. Stopping in front of Madame Puddifoot's, Ethan opened the door, allowing Min to walk in, then he followed in behind her. He looked for an open table, away from the crowd, noticing a lot of old people here. He'd think it wasn't a Hogsmeade weekend for the students of Hogwarts if he hadn't seen the occasional student mixed in, but maybe there was a special for senior citizens this weekend too. Not dwelling on it too much, Ethan found a table out of the way and near the back. "This one alright?" he asked as he pulled out the chair for her. |

... but she was MORE than willing to be carried off with dramatics, and so Ruby gasped. "Fatal? Is it contagious?" She sat down without so much as a by-your-leave. "I'm Ruby, who are you?" |
SPOILER!!: Ethan Waling down the street hand in hand with Ethan did nothing but make Minerva wear a huge smile on her face. "This was a great idea." She was so excited being out, though her heart and mind was half here and half worried about that little guy in good hands at E's parents house. Though most of her was here, because this was just a great place for them. Four years, they had been together four years now and it all started on this very day. Her mind drifted back to the pathways, though it didn't have the special feeling it once did after Ethan's last term. Quickly her mind moved to last year and a thought filled her head. This day held other specialties to it now and she squeezed his hand a bit tighter. "Do you think we will see Alec or anyone, I mean is it a school weekend?" She wasn't sure, but that would add to the greatness if she got to see some of her friends. Stepping into Madame Puddifoot's Min's smile faltered for a second. Oh it was crowded and with so many elderly people. Guess it wasn't a school weekend. Though there were some younger students there. Well no matter, Min decided to just enjoy herself with her special Valentine. "This is perfect." Everything was perfect about this day so far. She knew it could only stay perfect too. She had high hopes at least. |
SPOILER!!: Jun~ Jun's sentence was proof enough that you learned something new everyday. She didn't know most of his family were muggles. Mostly because she'd never asked but assuming was probably just as bad, wasn't it? Sometimes she forgot that not everyone lived emmersed in magic. "Oh...yeah...I can see where that would be a problem. Which of your family members actually have magic?" She asked curiously. It was interesting how magic skipped some and went to others. Her father told her that sometimes it skipped whole generations. Kinda scary when you thought about it. He was giving her a look, one that said it was hard to believe and truthfully, looking at her now one might never believe half her past. Lex shrugged, giving a guilty grin. "I did, would have cried longer but he gave in before then. Thing is, I'm my father's princess. Back then, if I shed two tears I could get anything I wanted, no questions asked, no limits set." She shook her head. "Breaking rules isn't as easy with him so I go around them. Him banning sweets would mean accio-ing all my candy and putting a jinx on my mouth that'd make eating any impossible." The downside to magical families. Things weren't always fair. His brother was proving more and more useful. Having his full memory alone made him a great asset right now where candy was involved. "Lookitchu using Ravenclaw logic." It was true. Lex didn't know anyone that loved chocolate as much as her. If she did they would have bonded and become best friends by now. Eating chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "And what'd you get for your other friend? Do you remember?" |
Quote:
"Perhaps. Nearly everyone in the school is infected," he informed her. "And I'm Caleb. Ruby, you say? Do you even GO here?" he asked. Here being Hogwarts, of course. He didn't think he'd seen her before - but then again, he couldn't remember what he'd had for breakfast this morning let alone all his classmates. |
SPOILER!!: Lexx Now that he thought about it, over the break his parents told him he actually wasn't the only magical member of the family. On his dad's side at least. His mum's side were actually all muggles. Except for a cousin, who was adopted from Japan when he was about six years old. But that cousin is now like twenty six or something. "I think a few uncles, aunts, and cousins on my dad's side of the family are magical. My dad is a squib and everyone on my mum''s side are actual muggles," Which was kind of sad because then his brother would've been magical too. Tut tut to you dad. But two wizard kids, who cause enough trouble at home is something his parents really didn't need anyway. Jun laughed. His twin cousins were kind of the same. More like, they would yell at each other, pretend to fight and have their parents get them what they wanted like that. Jun didn't understand how it worked but it did. "Back then? So not anymore?" Sounds like it. "That sounds a bit drastic," He gave her a look. But thankfully he would just hide everything in his enchanted trunk so his parents could never find it. Yay for magic. "You basically survive on candy. Bet you had to eat vegetables and stuff," Because some of them were just plain gross. Well, duuuuuh. "If I ever meet someone who likes chocolate just as much as you, I'll let you know," Thinking about it, Jun wasn't even sure if Char liked chocolate that much. He'd have to ask her later. Sadly, he couldn't eat so much chocolate without feeling really sick later. It was a given that there was less of it in his candy bag since like forever. And he planned on keeping it that way. "Uh," Could he even remember what he got Char? Maybe? "I think I got her a necklace since she likes jewelry and things like that. Pretty sure it's hiding in my trunk too," |

.... BLINK. What? "I was late!? You were. I'd been waiting for almost ten minutes." Seriously. She looked out the window for a moment before nodding at him, rubbing her hands together for warmth. "Yes, I am." |
Emmy, Lux, Kace, and Louis! XD So this is where the couples of Hogwarts go when they go out on dates? Nice little place right? Sure if she had some one it take her here! Huff. Boys were dumb. She peered into the shop. Any boys alone needing a pretty girl to keep them company or share a slice of cheesecake? Great now she wanted cheesecake. Well now she would just have to go and get a slice. Yep yep. She walked over to the door and pushed it opened and walked into the little shop. The place was packed with students. And non students. She just keeps running into Emmy everywhere lately. "Emmy!" She Squealed and ran over to her and her company. She flung her arms around her and hugged her. "Its good to se you again." Seriously, she had seen the blonde more this week than she had all last summer. |

"I didn't see you when we were supposed to meet so I walked a little and doubled back." he said with a shrug. He then took his jacket off and draped it around her shoulders. "That should warm you up." he said before taking his seat again. "You see anything that looks good?" he asked. |
SPOILER!!: Min "Yeah, I don't know," he shrugged to the question she had posed to him when they walked in. "Doesn't look like it's a school weekend," he added as he picked up a menu. Not that he minded either way. he still had a few friends left at Hogwarts that he supposed he wouldn't mind seeing, but if he didn't, that'd be alright too. "I wouldn't mind having you all to myself today though," he grinned. Wasn't often that it was just the two of them anymore. |
Quote:
But this nearly everyone being infected thing? Uhh... maybe she didn't WANT to go to a school where she could get all old and ugly. "What's it like, Caleb?" She purrrrred his name. Clearly something she'd picked up from someone much older than herself. "I mean, are you going to die?" |
Quote:
... She had a sassy reply ready but decided to remain quiet. Yeah, no. That would have been weird and silly. "I'll have a butterbeer." |
Quote:
Which was a shame. He looked around after she said she wanted a butterbeer. "You might have to settle for juice or tea... or coffee. It looks like there's some of that here too." He didn't see anyone with a butterbeer though. He glanced at one of the other tables. "That ice cream sundae looks good. You wanna split one?" |
Quote:
I know how girls are. ".... What is that supposed to mean?" And yes, she noticed that he avoided her earlier question. Weeeeird. Delilah's curious grey-blue eyes just eyed him for a moment but remained quiet. She'd find out about that later. Mhm. Tea or coffee.. UH. As much as she loved coffee, Delilah would rather have a steaming mug of hot chocolate. Sounded nice, yeah? But then, Mitchie suggested an ice-cream sundae. "I guess..... I'm always up for an ice-cream." She said, with a grin and a small wink. |
SPOILER!!: Ethan Minerva watched Ethan for a moment as he scanned the room. Then smiled at his words. This place held something very special. Dates, weekends through out their time at school and her glitter of sun last term when she knew she'd get to see him. Being stuck at the castle without him for the entire term had been hard, but she got through it. "It's perfect really. I think this should be some sort of Valentines tradition really. Go back to a place that holds many memories." Last Valentines Day ran through her mind and she couldn't help but smile. Taking his hand she squeezed it. "I love you." She had said those words so many times, but they still meant so much to her to say them. She nodded in agreement, "You're right. It seems more like a senior citizen day or something. Maybe they had a special for people over seventy." The wizarding world probably had many elderly on budgets so that would be nice of them to do. She chuckled and squeezed his hand again, []b "I wouldn't mind that either."[/b] She loved her Ethan time and it seemed far and few in between these days. So being out to even just dinner on this special day was a nice treat. "Though I do want to spend some time with my precious little Valentine later as well." She had been with Gunnar all day, but she loved being with him. So of course she wanted to be with both her guys during this holiday, but for now it was nice just the two of them. Looking down at the menu she tried to figure out what she might want. "What are you getting?" Tea was a must, but food wise she just wasn't sure. |
Quote:
"Cool. I can order us one." he said with a nod. As soon as he figured out how to order anyway. Was someone supposed to come around? "Anything else you want?" Since they should probably decide that before signaling someone over. "Oh. And are you feeling any warmer?" Hopefully? |
Quote:
She didn't go to Hogwarts? Where did this girl GO then? Hmm. "Who's your cousin?" he asked, just out of curiosity. He needed to know who he had to talk to about having a CRAZY extended family. And why was she saving his name like that? He wrinkled one of his silvery gray eyebrows and shrugged. "Terrible, pretty much. And I don't know if I'm going to die...possibly," he said, crossing his arms and glaring. How RUDE to ask someone if they were going to die! Nevermind the fact that HE had brought up the fact that he might be dying, but that was beside the point... |
Quote:
Delilah just stared at him for a moment before she realised what he was talking about. "I wasn't late because it took me time to get ready. Do you see me wearing make-up?" 'Cause she generally didn't like getting all pretty for someone. "No.. No. Just a sundae would be." Delilah said, still eyeing him suspiciously. The girl was slightly worried now.. HUH? Was he feeling warm? She nodded a small smile, pulling the jacket closer around her. "Yes. Thank you, Mitch." |
Quote:
He nodded and looked around again to see if there was anything else he wanted. "Yeah. No problem." he said. About the jacket thing. He was fine now that they were inside. |
SPOILER!!: Minerva Without really looking around too much, Ethan allowed his eyes to glance at a couple of the tables nearby. He hadn't really thought about it before, but then again he was really only here when it was a school weekend which this clearly wasn't. There had to be a lot of older witches and wizards that lived around here and of course they'd want to celebrate a day like today too. "Yeah, I bet you're right. That would make good sense for a place like this when kids aren't here to draw the business." They'd have to cater to the locals somehow. Looking back at her, he grinned again. Maybe it was better this way, they could just enjoy their day alone together. "That is a given," he smiled, thinking of Gunnar in the cute little onesie he had gotten him. He didn't get to spend all that much time with him today, spending most of it at work, then coming here afterwards. They wouldn't be out that long, though he did want to make the most of their time here. At her question, he glanced at the menu again. He remembered that they didn't have a whole lot of dinners here. It seemed more suitable for lunches and snacks, but that was alright with him. It was the location more than the selection. "I think I'm going to have a Bacon Buttie and a fruit salad. Maybe some dessert too.." But that much he hadn't decided on yet.. |
Quote:
Was he rich? Did he have a will? Her mum always did say it was never too early to start thinking about her future. "That is soooo horrible and tragic!" Definitely tragic. Ruby had her sympathy face on and she was enjoying the drama of it. "You should totally write to one of those Make a Wish Foundation things and totally milk it, see if they'll give you all the stuff that you want." Like, before he died. |
Quote:
"Make a what? What's that?" Caleb asked, wrinkling his eyebrows. Yeah, this girl was definitely crazy and now she was talking nonsense. "And you're related to West? He's my Quidditch captain," he explained. He'd rather talk about her cousin than his possible impending death...just saying. |
For Bre :3! Kace was ready to go on his first actual date. This was his first real date with Emmy and he didn't want to mess this up. He would be lying if he wasn't a little nervous. I mean he had a crush on her since the moment he saw her. It was an instant connection they had. He hoped he dressed alright for the occasion. He even picked out the place since it seemed a little romantic. Once he came in, he noticed it was a little full. He managed to find a seat and he waited for his girl patiently. |
Quote:
Emmylou felt like she was super late. The blonde didn't want to be late to her very first real date with her boyfriend. Emmy was nervous and she knew it, she had forgotten her coat. It was cold and her heels were to tall which was making her late by her walking slow. Emmy just wanted to look perfect for Kace. Her roommates had done her make up and they also curled her long blonde hair. |
Quote:
He pulled out the chair for her to sit..."After you mademoiselle..." he smiled and after she sat down, he sat down in his own chair. "Now let's decided what we are gonna eat.." he smirked. |
Quote:
Emmylou didn't really know if she liked being taller, maybe if she had just picked out shoes that for an inch or two shorter she wouldn't be bothered by it in her head. Emmy felt her cheeks turn pink. Emmy gave him a hug. Ahhh, the heat. It felt so good to feel warmth. How could she be so stupid to forget her coat? "You look very handsome." Emmy smiled and blushed some more. |
Quote:
"Well i am thinking of getting a fruit salad and then possibly get an ice cream sundae to share?" he suggested still skimming the menu. "What do you think?" he asked being one hundered percent sure. |
Quote:
Emmy was pretty sure that her whole face was bright red. Emmylou covered her cheeks and smiled looking at the ground. She honestly had never known anyone that could make her feel this way and she was pretty sure that no one could ever make her feel this way either. Emmy looked back up at him. "Thank you." she said smiling up at him and kissed him back. |
Quote:
As he was thinking, he saw her go through the menu. He heard she agreed with the idea. "I like that we think along the same page. So i shall get that. What drink do you think we can share?" he asked her. |
Quote:
Oh this boy played Quidditch? How though if he was so old and near death? He must have been REALLY good normally to still be good enough to play when he was practically on his deathbed. "Oh, well then you know him. He's alright sometimes." Shrug. Mostly. Who cared though? He got so moooooooooooody a lot of the time. "He's mean too though." Totally. "Punched my arm at Christmas." And she hadn't done anything wrong. |
Quote:
This feeling that felt every time she was near him killed but in a good way. Emmylou wondered if this is how her parents felt for one another? To feel that everyday must be amazing for them because it was for her. She was smiling but it felt like she was always smiling ever since she met Kace. Truth be told Emmy didn't even know she was the romantic type. |

Pumpkin juice? EEEEEPPPP! That was Emmy's favorite! Emmy half flailed. "Yes, please. That's my favorite!" She loved how much they had in common. Emmy was just awe of how perfect he was, well to her he was perfect and she wanted to make sure that she said it over and over again...even if it was just a reply in her head. "That sounds romantic." She smiled at him and watched as he laced his fingers with her. She gave his hand a little squeeze. "You know I was wondering that about myself." She let out a little giggle. |
Quote:
He was glad she liked his idea. "I am glad you think so..." he smiled and held her hand up and kissed it. He squeezed her hand back too. "Well at least i am not the only one. I think we just got really really lucky is all or fate was on our side." he winked. |
Quote:
"I dunno, I'm being optimistic by NOT writing one," he explained with a nod. Yeah, THAT was the reason why. "Are you sure you didn't deserve it?" he said, raising an eyebrow. He wouldn't be surprised if she had - he'd only known her for a few minutes and already liked West a LOT more than her. |
Quote:
"I'm a girl, and he's like WAY older, he shouldn't be punching me or anyone." She fluffed her hair and protested THAT accusation. Never mind that she'd spilled a whole bottle of purple nail polish all over his bedspread. Never mind that. |
