"Angel and Benny sitting in a tree..." she started singing teasingly. "I'm only kidding sis. It's cute seeing you like this." AJ wondered if she would ever feel like that over a boy? Nothing to worry about now because that was the last thing on her mind. AH! The whole face sharing thing would not be beneficial this time. "I'll talk to him sis. Don't worry, he'll know it's me." For one thing she won't be blushing when she saw him and she wouldn't be calling him cutie anytime soon. Blink.Blink. "Adi did that?" The Gryffindor had several conflicting feelings happening at once. Adi was a very good friend and it was hard to believe that he had a bad bone in his body. On the other hand she knew that Angel wouldn't lie to her. Her blood started to boil. "Anything else you need to tell me about him. Did he do or say anything else?" Adi was going to get it! |
Quote:
"He did." Angel sighed, "I thought he was cool an all but one day I was at the whomping willow." No need to tell Aubrey about the kiss that she had given Benny right, nope she'd leave that off. "Well it tried to hit me did the whomping willow and then Benny came and warn me and then Adi came and glared at me, you know like the time me and you snuck into the cinema and got caught, well it was like the look papa gave us then." Angel was trying to make her point. "Then he got angry and said a few things and then I left because I was in tears." Yeah he had made her cry. |
Quote:
"You mean that big tree?" AJ had wandered over to it herself. "It hits? It was a good thing that she managed not to get too close. "He glared at you because his friend save you?" That didn't seem fair. Then it hit her. Adi was most likely not liking the fact that somebody else was getting attention from his best friend. "You cried? What did he say to make you cry?" Her fists balled up and she was sure that Angel would be able to see the change in her. Protective sister activate. |
Quote:
"Yeah." Angel pouted as she looked at her sister and gave her the big puppy dog eyes. "I swear I didn't do anything to him." Angel knew her sister would know when she was lying and this wasn't her lying face. "He was very mean." Angel sighed. "I though that he was my friend but he was very mean that day." |
Quote:
"I believe you sis." As hard as it was to believe that Adi was mean to her, she knew that her sister wasn't lying. "I'm going to have a talk with him." Nobody was going to mistreat her sister and get away with it. |
Quote:
Angel was glad, she knew her identical sister would know all about when she was lying and when not, she gave her sister a massive hug because she loved her sister so much and missed her. "Thanks, I hope you can find out what's wrong with hi, I don't like seeing him like this, he's normally so nice." |
Quote:
AJ hugged her sister back, and held on a little longer than normal because she knew that Angel really needed it. She was homesick and already having problems with some of the kids here so she hoped her hug said a thousand words that she had never actually spoken. "Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this because you're right, that just doesn't seem like Adi." She wondered if her assumption was right. "I'll make sure that he gives you an apology too." It was only right. |

O_________o Angel was about to reply when she suddenly remembered something. "I have to go now sis, I'll speak to you later." Angel gave her sis one last hug and without waiting to hear what her sister had to say, she legged it out of the bathroom. |
Marigold ducked into the girl's lavatory to change into her toga. Except she had NO IDEA how to put it on. The first two minutes were spent with her trying to step into it, then wrap it around her…. yeah it wasn't working. But eventually she kinda tied some extra knots and it stayed on her. She started to leave the bathroom, but tripped. Mehhhh. She had to hike it up above her ankles and hold fistfuls of the cloth in her hands to not fall over. Agh. |
Arithmancy toga Penelope entered the bathroom with the toga that she had been instructed to wear for the arithmancy lesson and went into a stall to change. How was she supposed to wear this? She tried to put it on several times, but couldn't figure it out. Getting frustrated with the toga, Penelope tried again. After a few minutes, she was able to figure it out and put it on. Leaving the bathroom, Penelope tripped on her toga and fell down. Untangling herself, Penelope got up, this time hitching up the toga so she wouldn't trip. |
Carrying her toga, Jasmine entered the girls' bathroom. She put in on with a little difficulty and a little help from her classmates. Jasmine imagined that she looked totally ridiculous and she was embarrassed to come out of the bathroom. Then she figured that everyone else proably looked as crazy as she did so she guessed it would be OK. Jasmine gathered up her clothes and went back to the classroom. |
A toga. A freaking toga. Couldn't they have just DISCUSSED togas if the professor thought they related to Arithmancy that much? Sophie didn't think she'd look very good in a toga, but whatever. "Hi," she said, passing by a few others about to change into their togas, too. She ducked into a stall, got properly dressed, and then re-emerged. Well, off to class it was. She sighed softly then left the bathroom. |
Emmylou made her way into the bathroom. Why did she have to wear a toga? What was so important about it? They could have just talked about it and not even have to change into it. Numbers and togas were Greek but she just didn't feel like wearing a toga. The third year shrugged and walked into the bathroom, she saw some other people in here too but just walked past and found a place to get changed. She chose a stall changed and made sure everything was looking like it was suppose to be so she walked out of the stall and she started to walk back to the classroom. |
"This is ridiculous," Beverly mumbled to herself as she entered the bathroom, the hideous thing draped over her shoulder. Why the toga? If it related to the lesson of the day why couldn't they just see a picture of one? Ugh. Going into one of the stalls, she shut it with a defined click. It'd better match her Converse shoes. She wasn't changing out of those. |
Entering the bathroom, Penelope ran into one of the stalls. Overwhelmed by everything that had happened, feeling really horrible for what she had done, and feeling sick to her stomach, she threw up into the toilet. She flushed the toilet, then snuck out of the stall to wash her hands. Who knew what kind of bacteria and other germs might be on that toilet? Looking around to make sure that no one had seen her, she locked herself in the stall again and cried. She had been so mean to Kyroh. It was her who should be using her Ravenclaw brain. Penelope continued to cry. There was no way she would be going back to that History of Magic lesson. |
Noooo one everrrr came to visit pooooor, miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiserable, loneeeeely old Moaning Myrtle any more. Today felt like an exception. Only it waaaaaaaaaas not. It was ruuuuuude how girls had entered, changed into funny clothes, and then LEFT without so much as a glance her way. Oh wooooooooooooooooooooooooooe was she! Quote:
Myrtle knew what was up. Mmmhmmm. "Come to make fun of fat, ugly, miserable Moaning Myrtle, have you?" she jeered as she spiraled down from the rafters towards the girl waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaailing along the way down. |
Jess?! Ro?! She had been out for a walk in the castle, something she had been doing a bit more lately, since she couldn't really go outside with the freezing cold. So when she got to the second floor, Cassie decided it was a good time to duck into the girls loo. Stopping in the first empty stall she did her business and came out to the sink. Washing her hands she stopped. "Goodness no that won't do." She messed with her hair that seemed to have fallen out of place right near the bangs. Leaning close to the mirror she tried to fix it. Moving fro her bangs to the rest of her hair. If it had been out of place she... She needed to make sure the rest of her was all in order. Checking her make up, which could use a little touch up. So she got into her purse and pulled out a few supplies. Reapplying blush, eye shadow, and even lipstick before smacking her lips together and putting the contents back in her purse. No need to look bad when she had a chance to make her self look Fabtastic! |
Goodness, it was absolutely frigid outside! So cold that Anastasia had thought all the liquids in her body were sure to freeze. So as soon as she made it indoors, she naturally made a beeline for the restroom. Quote:
The Headmistress opened the door to her stall and casually walked out to a sink to wash her hands. While she was doing so, she stole a glance at the person next to her... and oh, it was Cassie! The new Divination professor! "How is it going?" she asked her brightly as she scrubbed her hands under the warm water. Warm water felt so GOOD. |
SPOILER!!: Bunz She was just about to go when she noticed smudged eyeliner, well then. Leaning closer to the mirror she began to fix it, just as she heard a door and noticed in the mirror that it was the headmistress. Giving her a beaming smile she continued to fix her liner. "Oh everything is just brilliant. I'm loving it here." Her enthusiasm bouncing off the walls in her happy tone. "The cold could go away so the animals will stop with their noise and anxiety, but I can't blame them. It's just horrible." Her failed SNAC meeting proved that. "How are you today headmistress?" Looking fabulous as always Cassie noticed and her shoes, were just amazing. "Has something changed since I was here as a student? I mean I don't remember the winters being this harsh." Was it all that global warming the muggle news was going on about? The blonde never really paid attention to that kind of news. Plus that sort of news was never in the Quibbler. Now that was her news. |
"Well good." Good to hear that Cassie was loving it here. Maybe that meant she wouldn't be a turnover after just one term? Hopefully? Yes? "Are you getting along okay with the staff? And the students?" She hoped? This one was just so talkative and ... bubbly, Anastasia wondered how bad a student would truly have to be to make an impression on Cassie. Ah, the cold. "Of course," the redhead murmured darkly, drying her hands now and then starting to touch up her hair. "I'm fine but... you're right about this bitter winter." Brrrrr! Just thinking about it made her rub her arms and shiver. She leaned in toward the mirror to apply a bit of lipgloss. "I don't know WHAT has changed or if this is just one of those...." Annie waved the lipgloss around as she moved it back to her purse, "...natural phenomena, but I have never wanted to move back to Cairo more!" At least she'd be able to go home and see her boys more back in Cairo. And her niece(s). |
Eyeliner complete Cassie stood a little straighter and gave her reflection another once over. Perfect, just like it should be. Turning her green eyes back to the head mistress she beamed, "Oh that staff are wonderful. So welcoming! Having Nessa on staff as well makes things so much more fabtastic!" It was just fate that had her BFF working with her. "I graduated with Piers and Javy, so that helped as well too I think." Thought the headmistress would have known that, so why was she saying it. "Students? Oh they are so fun! Such great kids, we are soooo lucky." She hadn't really met any that she felt were bad, but kids were only bad when they had something they were upset about. At least that's how she viewed it. "I've met a few non excitable students, but they'll come around." She had faith in them. Ooooh Cairo, this got snaps from the blonde. "How long have you lived there? It sounds like a fantastic place." She had never been, but it was one of those places she had on her list to travel. "Whatever it is, I just hope mother nature gets it out of her system before spring. I love spring, the flowers are my favorite." |
Quote:
Back to the modern times. Anastasia actually glanced away from her mirror to look Cassie straight in the face when she said the students were soooooooooo fun. Great kids. Uh? Uh?! The Headmistress stared at the Divination professor. "What ever do you mean by 'non excitable' students?" Ones that weren't hyper and/or on candy?? Mmkaaaaaay........ Annie turned back to her reflection for a last dusting of powder. "Well we don't live there anymore, just my brother does. We lived there and taught at the university for oh...." How long had it been? "At least five years." But now they were happily back in England, except in winters like this one when no one was truly happy with the weather outdoors. "I love spring too!" the former Herbologist obviously had to agree. "Flowers, right right. See, I knew you were a good choice to hire." She winked at Cassie's reflection and continued |
“Oh it really is. I mean Nessa and I have been friends since I was six and she was three, Our paths have crossed so many times over the years from both getting into Hufflepuff, to living near each other, and now working together. It was just supposed to happen really.” She snapped happily over it. “I was really surprised by Javy and Piers though, did you know? I mean I would have never guessed back in school when Javy and I were… friends” That’s what they called it now, wasn’t it? Either way it was in the past he his news was so much more interesting. Fluffing her hair she let her green eyes fall on the refection of the Headmistress in the mirror, “Yes some no excitable, you know grumpy Gusses. There are always a few in the bunch, but they will come around. “ She was just going to have to try harder and be more positive with Miss Cambridge and Mr. Kevin. They just needed that extra go to, she just knew they’d be all happy about classes and not so rude next time around. “Oh you taught at a University, how exciting.” Something she’d get to eventually she assumed. Her signs just hadn’t pointed to that direction and she was thrilled about that. She loved being here and didn’t want her signs to tell her differently. “At least you can go visit. My one brother just lives in London, and the other well he lives somewhere in a muggle town, but not far either. So no nice warm places to visit for me.” She grinned not really bothered by that. The excitement in the headmistress’ voice made Cassie jump and turn towards her giving happy snaps. “The smell of the flowers just proves springs around and it’s just lovely to see all the animals coming back out from sleeping. Spring is for new beginnings my grandmother always said. “ She loved that saying, because it just felt like you were starting new each change of season. Plus she was glad she hired Cassie, not that Cassie didn’t believe she could do it, but if the headmistress was saying she made a good choice that meant something to the Divinations professor. |

The funny thing was that neither of them were required to divulge that to her, but oh well. Hehehe. They were still cute together. Grumpy Gusses... oh boy, Cassie had a positive little nickname for everyone and everything, didn't she? "If you have problems with any of them, please send them my way. Don't hesitate." They hadn't had NEARLY enough detentions this year, in Annie's opinion. The new staff must still be soft. How exciting.... "Sure it was," Anastasia drawled, putting away the last of her makeup as she was done now. "I think I go back to visit the town more than to visit my brother." The numbskull. How a man like that had had a little girl as cute as Olivia was beyond her. But really, was Cassie SNAPPING at her? Anastasia whisked her makeup back into her bag and staaaaaaaaaaared at the Divination professor again. She had to be careful though, too much staring would give her wrinkles. "........new beginnings, yes. I will be glad when the weather outside matches the picture on my calendar." She gave Cassie a small |
It was a long time, but didn’t really seem like it either. She didn’t know life without her best friend and she loved that it just worked out so perfectly that they got to teach together as well. Her green eyes had just swept around when they landed on the Headmistress’ shoes. “Those are just adorbs.” She pointed, Cassie knew her fashion and she knew when she liked something, but they were talking about something else. Eyes lifting back up, “Oh good so it wasn’t just the ex-girl.. old friend surprised by it.” Oh did that almost come out of her mouth? Deary no that shouldn’t be said. The past should stay there, yes. “Well of course they told you. You would need to know being the headmistress and all.” Everything was run by her, wasn’t it? Send students her way, “I hope I don’t have to do that. You are sooo busy as it is. I would hate to have to interrupt you because of a student. No they are doing wonderfully and the ones that are a little grumpy aren’t even that bad.” She beamed about the students. How lucky were they to have such great ones, even the misunderstanding child Miss Cambridge. She wasn’t even that bad. “I love to travel, seeing places is always exciting. So I could only imagine loving a place and going back to visit all the time.” She hadn’t found that special place yet, but she probably would. “Ohmigosh, I love those calendars. They are sooo my favorite!” The pictures were adorbs, “Though the kitty ones are always so sweet.” She liked those a little more than the season ones. She was leaving? Well of course, they were still in the loo now weren’t they. No need to keep her in a student’s bathroom for too long. “Oh it was wonderful talking to you as well Headmistress.” She snapped a bit more and beamed at the woman. |
