"I'll be back" he told her as he made his way to the change rooms.

Ella felt bad now. "Oh, I...no. That's fine. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one in front of the camera, I guess." Shuffle. "I'm not a fan of getting my picture taken, y'know?" That wasn't that uncommon, right? As for taking turns, the blonde smiled faintly and nodded. "I'd like that."

And then Bay was off to change and Ella took the time to look around at the other groups, wondering what they'd be doing. She was amused at the hats and boas and could only imagine how she looked standing there in cowgirl attire. Now if only she had a horse to ride.

Le sigh.

He needed to remember how to use them. Kace was wondering what kind of costumes they were gonna be put into. This was gonna be interesting. "Wonder what kind of costumes we are gonna get huh?" he asked his buddy.

Adi grinned at his best bud. "Sure!'' Adi grabbed a camera. "She said someone from each group take a camera, right?'' He was sure the woman said that but there was no harm in double checking.

Costumes were what Adi was looking forward to. "Should we go with a theme? Or we all just go random? I want to go old fashioned like stuff from the Three Musketeers or something but I don't mind trying something else.'' he asked Kace and turning around to look for his second year friends. Where were those guys? "We'll need props too.''

Alex, Lux, Tessa and Sander's group

SPOILER!!: Alex

Turning to address the entire group, Alex agreed that it would be good to select a name for their team. "Has anyone thought of a name? I'm not very creative that way. I could only come up with corny names like The Fantastic Four or the Awesome Foursome. Not very original, huh?" Alex joined the others in looking through the selection of items Lux had brought.

"I just grabbed a bit of everything," she admitted. Not really caring a lot about dressing up unless it was for Halloween or a costume party, she had not put all that much thought into it. Taking pictures seemed interesting, she supposed... but she was much more interested in the process of developing wizard photographs than she was in snapping photos of her friends or putting on an outfit and striking silly poses. That was the kind of thing she could see Willa enjoying, since Willa loved dressing up and having attention on her.

Turning her attention to Alex, she smiled at the girl. "Nice to meet you, I am Lux." Fortunately Alex was an easier name to remember than some of the other ones she had heard so far, which meant that there was no doubt she would have no difficulty remembering it. "I'm bad at names, sorry guys." Maybe she would have come up with one, but she was wanting to get this photo shoot over with. Why couldn't they be taking pictures of nature instead? Some of the places on the grounds were very pretty.

Sander listened to both girls. Alex did have a great idea and he voiced his agreement. "Alex is right. We should name ourselves. Unfortunately, I'm just as equally bad at coming up with names," he reluctantly told the group, turning to Tessa hoping that she'd have better ideas.

As Sander looked around he looked as the other students prepared taking pictures of each other. He chuckled to himself as memories of him having his photo taken always seemed a chore for the photographer. For some reason, his eyes would automatically blink as the photo was taken thus ruining the shot.

That's it!! "Ladies I have an idea for the name of our group. How about The Whatever You Do, Don't Blink Club...or just Don't Blink," Sander suggested.

"I know, it's totally bad huh? I did tell you I was bad with names." Sander apologized to his group.

ooc: I just made a reference Doctor Who if you're wondering where that name came from ;)

Bay...was incredibly good at the cowboy thing and Ella grinned at him, amused. "Mighty fine indeed, partner." Horrible western accent was horrible, by the way. And did cowboys even say partner? Ella didn't know but she was going with that. Yup. The blonde curtseyed in response to the tipped hat and nodded, glad that he didn't mind the whole sharing the spotlight thing. It was better that way. "Okay, good."

"I guess, we can start taking some pictures now. I mean, I don't mind doing the posing first." Best to get it over with, actually. "How...do cowgirls stand, anyway?" Help?

Bay laughed at Ella, he found it real cute that she tried to have a western accent. He moved towards the camera and stood behind it. "they would normally like have their hands on their hips, or or tip your hat and point a toe..... Just have fun with it." as he readied the camera to start taking pictures.

Hands on their hips...or tip their hat and point their toe. Okay, she could handle that. The eighteen year old shuffled over a bit so that she was directly in front of the camera and pulled a face, just for laughs. "Kidding."

Then hands went to her hips and she tilted her head, a small smile playing on her lips. "Do I look like a cowgirl yet?" Grin!

And Alec wasn't watching this, right? Because if he was, he'd totally tease her about it later.

Does she look like a cowgirl, heck yeah she did.. He didnt want to tell her but she looked great. "you sure do" snapping away he was happy that he was having such a great tIme. "just you wait for me to be in front.. Your going to be laughing thats for sure."

"I like it. Ok so, let's head to the tent and grab a camera..." he said, trailing off. He was a bit confused on what to do next, but he decided to head over to the groups that were all getting ready to take their pictures. They could just follow their lead, yes?

Trying to keep the nose on his nose and scratching at the clown wig he looked over at Caleb. Grinning as his fellow second year liked his choices. He looked around to see where the camera's were. "It looks like people are getting them over there." So they should just go get one, right?

When Caleb said about the tent he nodded and then looked over at them. "Wait I think we do the picture at the back drop first before doing ummm well something at the tent." He wasn't sure, but the others looked to be doing the backdrops.

"Which one should we use?" Bart glanced at Caleb there seemed to be many to pick from but which would be best for a clown and a journalist or whatever Caleb was doing with the journal.

Courwell's Group

She was allowed to join! This was great. And they had a theme? Themes were even more amazing and definitely integral, especially when it looked like their theme would be one that would highlight how glamorous Ana truly was. She had to admit that, left side girl, really knew what she was doing with picking out costume choices.

Nodding to Lizzie to show she was listening Ana nearly ran over to the box with the rest of the group. She wanted to look glamorous and needed to grab something good before all the great looking pieces were gone.

As Ana joined in the rummaging she picked out a few lovely looking hats, and of course some classic jewellery. She slipped the earrings on almost as soon as she found them, along with the rings she picked, but the necklace was a bit harder. She wanted one that made a statement, because she didn't want to wear a feather boa thingie, they made her get all itchy and that wasn't conducive to a good photo. Around the bottom of the box she found just the thing she was looking for. It looked glamorous but was also chunky enough to be a statement piece, and as a bonus it looked young too. Putting it around her neck Ana grabbed one of the blue hats that she selected, because it went with her outfit and she thought it would look great with her red hair, and messed around with it for a few minutes before getting it just perfect.

Ana pulled out her mirror, checked that her make-up was still perfect and touched up her lipstick, red of course, making sure that none was on her teeth, nor would get on her teeth, before turning back to Ms Courwell. "I'm ready," she told her agreeing with the other two members of her group that had already spoken up.

Another glance at the Huffie, who was now singing, if it could be described as that, and Benjy gulped. Until Astrid came up with a suggestion. "I can do Quidditch," he said. "We could do something like those photoshoots they do in Quidditch Weekly, the full page ones. Y'know the ones the mean?" Surely Mo read the magazine?

Oh look, it was that new girl from her dorm. Hi new girl. Cat smiled in turn at the new Slytherin and the uhh Ravenclaw boy. Hi. Don't mind this Caterina. It was still in his brain.

"Quidditch works for me," Mo finally said hesitantly. "Just... maybe go see what they have in the prop box? Helmets and pads and jerseys and things? Are there any brooms?" He gave Cat a cautious side-eye. She was okay?

"Hello," Mo squeezed her good arm. "We were just brainstorming a theme. Benjy suggested we do up a proper Quidditch Weekly photoshoot. I'm putting him in charge of decking the four of us out in gear, although I'll worry about the lighting and composition once we're set up. Maybe you and Astrid can decide on... styling? How much uniform we wear, should we be windblown or buttoned up... that sort of thing. What do you think?"

Okay, yay! So they agreed with the Quidditch thing? Well, so far only Benjy and Mo did. She wasn't sure about the other Slytherin though. Astrid didn't even know her name, but she totally saw her in the dormitory before. A sixth year Slytherin like her. She was pretty too, Astrid thought. But then, she's never seen an ugly person here at Hogwarts so far. "Hi," she greeted her. Also, she'd be okay if they didn't do the Quidditch theme because she was boss at styling, you know? No style was a challenge for Astrid Emerson.

Quidditch Weekly? Astrid didn't know that. The name was familiar though and she remembered seeing that in the Quidditch Supplies shop at Diagon Alley. Never been able to read it. Probably because they weren't available in France? Ah, well. It was a Quidditch magazine so it was totally fine and Astrid could already guess what was inside. She only read Seeker Weekly. But yeah, she followed what Mo said and checked in the prop box. "There's helmets here and..." She dug through the box a little bit more. "... Found a jersey!" She held it up.

And Astrid was totally fine with the styling thing with the other girl. Girl power, anyone? They could really dress them up whatever they wanted. After all, it sounded really fun. No problem.

Although Ms. Courwell didn't even give them their actual assignment, but it would probably be to.. well, snap photos, yeah?

She turned and glanced down at the prop box, then at her fellow group members. "Soo.. anything in particular you guys want to use? I like this sword. Also the boas." She lifted a feathery purple boa with the tip of her sword. Did they want a mishmash of things? Or a theme? Orrrrrr what? The Gryffindor wasn't too bent on anything. The sword and boa could be spared. No biggie.

The group just got better with West joining. Cassia nodded approvingly. Ooh, and he seemed to be ready and quite familiar with the process. She paused thinking of what pause she would strike. Perhaps not a sitting position since she wasn't tall? She'd rather the picture be taken mid-section up to her head.

"I liiike the boa," the snake decided pulling out one for HER. Not that the sword was a bad choice. But the boa was more lady-like. If they had time she'd probably go with the sword and try her fierce look. Yup, Defo.

"So, West gets his picture taken first?" Since he already was ready and you know, boyfriend rights. She was gonna need a lil bit of time to decide on a pose.

Sander had to agree that Tessa's suggestion was unique and was ready to agree with it, when he realized that everyone else was dressing up in the costumes they had collected from the box and they were posing albeit in funny position in front of the camera. Then he remembered what the instructor had tasked them to do. He had been too excited collecting the costumes and thinking of a name for the group, that he totally forgot about it.

"Tessa that's an awesome suggestion maybe we can do that after we finish the assignment the instructor told us to do. I just remembered she said that we had to dress up in those costumes and takes as many pictures we want while wearing them. So I guess for now we play dress up. Sander reluctantly told Tessa.

He looked at the clothing and props Lux and he had grabbed from the box. He now wished that he had picked on a specific theme like what the other teams seemed to be doing.

"Any suggestions? Maybe we can pretend like we're famous statues...you know like the Statue of Liberty? I see a crown here and a book, and a torch. Someone can be her. What other famous statues are there? We can always go back to the box to look for more props." Sander suggested.

Blinking, Alec looked down at the new, younger boy. Was he nervous? Did he know that he had nothing to be nervous about? He, Alec, was the awkwardest boy around, no doubt. Maybe. "Hey there!" he said, grinning at the boy. Could he ruffle the boy's hair? Could he? It looked very ruffle-able. "Thanks! And I'm Alec, by the way. Great to meet you guys." That went to both of the girls as well as the young boy.

... Oh. Wait. "So... should we all work together as a group of four or... pair off into two groups?"

Moving on. "Let's just stay in a group," she said quickly. Four was a lot better. Besides, it allowed for variety of pictures right? Focusing on interaction or whatever. "Oichi already went to get supplies."

Why was everyone in this group, including Gwen, just kind of waiting around for others to make decisions? "Shall we brainstorm ideas on what we want to do for our pictures?" or maybe they should wait. Maybe the instructor had specific instructions for them. Or maybe she just wanted them to be creative.

She waved at her group. "I'm Gwenhwyfar Jensen, first year Ravenclaw, but most people call me Gwen."

Whoops. Oichi didn't want to make the group any bigger, and she was right. Five probably was too big. Maybe they should split up into more groups? She still didn't want Mo to be alone. That wasn't fair.

Um, he was touching her hair. Why was he touching her hair? It was probably a mess now, and not that she cared, but he wasn't like her brother or anything. Come to think of it, none of her brothers really ruffled her hair either. It was kind of friendly. And weird. But mostly friendly.

Okay, Mo was going. "Sorry," she waved awkwardly. This had gotten out of hand. Oh! and Oichi was going after him. Could this be anymore uncomfortable? She buried her head in her hands feeling awkward. This had all spun out of control because Gwen had made simple eye contact with Mo, not wanting him to be without a group.

Awesome! A group and a theme and it was all sort of a blur until actually answerable questions were asked like THEMES. And at the mention of superheroes, the Gryffindor's head snapped up in the girls direction.

"Lucas, uh, by the way," he said, by way of greeting. "I think superheroes is an awesome idea!" He could TOTALLY Abbi about it later. Because SUPERHEROES were cooler than SPIES.

She made her way over to his direction and added herself to the group of three, which now made it three and a half since really, she was mostly just half.

Oh look, it was that new girl from her dorm. Hi new girl. Cat smiled in turn at the new Slytherin and the uhh Ravenclaw boy. Hi. Don't mind this Caterina. She was harmless, especially since her dominant punching arm was wrapped up in a sling. "Hello." She was here. Obviously. Now, what were they doing?

It was like they lived in his brain or something, although his brain had been thinking something like 'Cat might hate doing Quiddditch 'cause it'll make her sad for arm reasons'... but y'know.

No problem.

Benjy offered a smile to Caterina, with a "Hey," in greeting. He didn't exactly know her, but he certainly knew of her, being Mo's girlfriend and all. "Hope the arm gets better soon," he said, nodding to the sling. No, he didn't have any idea why it was like that, but having an arm in a sling couldn't be any fun. Especially if it was her wand arm, which probability suggested was likely. Benjy was usually the odd one out for being a leftie. Or goofy, as it was in skateboarding speak.

So he was being put in charge of gear? He could do that. With a grin at the Captain, Benjy headed to the props box with Astrid, and started to have a rummage through. Astrid, it seemed, was doing far better than him, having recovered some helmets and jersey. "Good job," he said. "We should be able to replicate the jersey, right? So we can all have a matching one." And then he found some things his side of the box too. "Goggles!" he said, pulling hard on the strap and then twanging it back on to his hand in the process. "Ow!" He wrinkled his nose at them, especially since when he looked at them close up, he realised that they could only be described as 'vintage'. They could still make them work though.

"Any sight of a broom your end, Astrid?" Not the easiest to have a Quidditch shoot without a broom of any sort. It didn't even have to fly really...just look the part.

Does she look like a cowgirl, heck yeah she did.. He didnt want to tell her but she looked great. "you sure do" snapping away he was happy that he was having such a great tIme. "just you wait for me to be in front.. Your going to be laughing thats for sure."

"Good." Yeehaw and all that, yeah. This wasn't so bad after all. A few more shots and then she could get behind the camera and she'd just do her best not to fidget in the meantime. Seemed like a good plan to her. The blonde smiled at his comment, nodding her head. "I bet you'll do better than me. You seem to be the expert on this subject, after all."

And she was going to give that other pose he'd mentioned a try. Toe pointed and hat tipped. She even smiled extra big because why not, yeah? Cowgirls smiled too.

"What got you into this stuff, anyway?" The Western stuff. She was curious.

Bay kept snapping away *click, click, click* she was doing such a good job. Bay smiled at her. " oh I dont think that, mine are going to look horrible because im in the photos." he laughed some more. Oh she was doing the move that he suggested. "great" he said while taking more pictures.

"i love westerns, my father always gave me western books to read and i just love the movies." answering her question

Mo, Astrid and Benjy

The four of them, huh? Cat smiled at Mo and nodded along. "Quidditch is a good idea." Sure. "Everyone likes it." Well, mostly everyone, right? It seemed like the four of them in the group did, anyway.

She glanced back at the other Slytherin girl and gave her another smile. Astrid. Right. THAT was her name. She seemed like a nice girl. It make Cat wish that she was more like herself than she was. She'd be sooo interested in making this girl her new friend. As it were, she had to settle for smiles and hope that she didn't offend anyone on accident.

Oh. Benjy was talking about her arm. Cat smiled again. "Yeah, thanks. Me too." She replied kindly. For reals. She would like her arm back now. Though, that made her ponder something else. "Right." She was going to let Benjy and Astrid dig for things cause they already were, "Maybe I should do something behind the scenes.... a Quidditch Weekly wouldn't have a wounded player in their pictures, right?" She wasn't trying to be difficult, but like... right?

Maybe someone else could come up with ideas? Gwen was feeling a little like the only one pushing the project along. Which was maybe unfair of her. Oichi was trying to resolve conflict, and Alec had zoned out. Maybe it was just weird because none of them really knew each other. "We could do some sort of future theme, like with scenes from our future lives?" Jobs, families, amazingly incredible magic, things like that? "I dunno," she shrugged. "What kinds of things do you guys want to do?" Because really, she was up for anything.

"Lucas, uh, by the way," he said, by way of greeting. "I think superheroes is an awesome idea!" He could TOTALLY Abbi about it later. Because SUPERHEROES were cooler than SPIES.

Alec raised his eyebrows. Gwen was quick on the ball, wasn't she? Not that Alec was complaining since he didn't really have any good ideas himself. So... yeah. Good on you, Gwen. ... Who had a really long name. Gwen. He was going to stick to Gwen.

The ideas? The seventh year tapped his chin with his forefinger, all the while trying to imagine which one would be the best. Family? That meant that he would be the Dad, right? He had a jealous girlfriend and this boy wasn't any better in the jealousy department so... maybe not that? That left the others, all of which sounded really really gre--

... And then he let out a chuckle.

Lucas. Good to know the guy's name. And he seemed really excited about the superheroes idea, did he know? "I like superheroes idea, too. We can all be different ones and take a very... heroic picture together," he said, grinning at the boy and then at the two girls, "You two okay with that or... do you want to go with another theme?"

Alice, Schuyler, Cassia & West

Dora nodded approvingly at Cassia and West when they joined the group. With them topping them off, they made a good looking bunch, yeah? Yes. She shot West an amused look when he flopped down on the bean bag, turning her attention back to Shuyler when she was poked. She rubbed the spot absently, a slight smile turning up the corners of her lips. "Very dangerous Dora."

Props? Her eyes scanned over them indifferently. "I don't really think I need props so long as I have someone in the photo with me." They could be her prop. All of them. Yup.

"Can you show us your Love Is Eternal face?" If he failed then he only got to be a hand-model.

No biggie.

Schuyler didn't look all that surprised that he'd joined. He beamed at her. And then promptly looked confused. Love is Eternal face? That was a face? Was it a face he could make? Well... he did his best, by looking at Alice.

All intensely and stuff and probably more desire-y than eternally loving but hey, take what you can get right? Even while he sat there making eyes at his girlfriend he answered Schuyler. "I'll go along with whatever you girls decide."

But did he get a boa? Beginning to feel left out and stuff. He peeked at Schuyler. And how was his eternal love face? Verdict?

Perhaps not a sitting position since she wasn't tall? She'd rather the picture be taken mid-section up to her head.

"I liiike the boa," the snake decided pulling out one for HER. Not that the sword was a bad choice. But the boa was more lady-like. If they had time she'd probably go with the sword and try her fierce look. Yup, Defo.

"So, West gets his picture taken first?" Since he already was ready and
you know, boyfriend rights. She was gonna need a lil bit of time to decide on a pose.

Did he? He was all for that. Camera on him? Sure. Wasn't as if he wasn't used to it because Mo was such a happy snapper when it came to pictures of West and all.

And no surprises that Cassia had a boa. It was Cassia. She was the lady snake and there probably wasn't anything more girly than one of those.

Oichi felt relieved that all the drama was over and her group was on its way. Gwen even had ideas and was open to more and wanted to take reign of the camera, every thing was going fantastic. "Of course you can have the camera, and I was thinking that we could also do a cow girl theme, "Oichi said as she handed off the camera and then put on a cow girl hat and a bandana. "Oh, we could also have a theme of just plain goofiness too. How does that sound?".

All candid shots and organized shoot photos would be handed over to them with the except of a few because they were her memories too. Ahem.

Ready? Lizzie's head whipped around and there was the little Hufflepuff swankily dressed. "Brilliant! Alright everyone, I'd like for us to get moving on this. I'm seeing a night out in the city, fancy close, the extravagant look. Work those faces! Once you've gotten into costumes we'll move to that backdrop there, the one with the skyscrappers and street lights." It was almost like that American city, New York was it? The one that had Broadway?

Just don't cover your eyes with it. Eyes can piece the soul." Besides, you only needed to have your eyes covered to protect them from the sun or if you were spying on competition so they couldn't identify you. She looked over her shoulder at Ms. Courwell (yet another great photo opportunity) for approval.

Awesome! Tobias was already mentally reorganising the things on the walls at his end of the third year boys dormitory and thinking of where he could put one of the photographs. He couldn't wait to see himself in a proper wizarding MOVING photo. Wow.

He was already partially facing the boxes and stuff, so when the older Gryffindor girl turned to him he knew it was Toby that she was speaking to straight away. The Hufflepuff beamed and bounced on his toes some more and stepped closer, taking the fedora and jamming it onto his head, but being careful not to mess up his perfect hair. "Like this?" he asked, adjusting it so his soul-piecing eyes could still be seen well.

But then Ms. Courwell was speaking and SETTING THE SCENE. The fedora would do quite nicely for now. Toby moved over to the backdrop and took a moment to admire it before turning back again. Unless she wanted a photo of the back of his head or something.

OKAY WHAT NOW.
