So basically she was one of his favorites now.

"You want to work with me? Are you sure?" Wasn't it like a thing where boys were gross and Mo was ancient and she didn't want to be seen with him? "Who else are you working with?"

Now who would like to go next", Oichi said looking around at the now group of three. And then out of no where Gwen invited another person into the group. She quickly grabbed the camera, film, and clothes and went back to her group. "Okay guys, we have 4 now, I'm sure this shall be awesome fun but let's cap the group here.", Oichi said firmly trying to be as nice as she could.

"I didn't mean to intrude. I can find another group. I think five is probably too many." Mo saluted his Hufflebear!Bro, Alec, before glancing once again around the room for someone not in a group. Cat. Perfect. Girlfriend was already the prime subject in most of Mo's photographs, and the camera loved her.

Benjy had got stuck in the beanbag. Yes, stuck.

It was one thing plopping yourself down into a beanbag...it was another thing getting back out. And so, with a furtive look round the class, he ended up rolling out of the thing sideways and pulling himself up from there.

Only to find that many of the groups had been set. Sigh. He was terrible at getting into groups, and he looked round to see if any of his Quidditch teamies were in the same scenario. And he spotted one - Mo. Which would be a huge advantage, given his interest in photography. Awesome.

Benjy headed in that direction. "Mind me joining? Or will that spoil the dream team?" Yeah, he'd just then noticed the girlfriend. Cue awkward rubbing of his neck.

Tessa was still scribbling down notes when she heard the instructor say partners. Partners? Immediately, she looked around at the group she was sitting with, a smile on her face. Usually, that suggestion would make her uncomfortable. But not at this school.

"Was there any question?" she murmured to Sander with a grin. "Of course I'll be in the group!" She smiled as Lux agreed, putting her arm around the girl's shoulder. "We're going to be the best group! We'll have to brainstorm a name," she said to Lux. Then, she looked back at the instructor for further directions. This class had just gotten even more fun.

Making her way over to the box the instructor indicated, and grabbed cameras for them all, before beginning to sort through all the different props and costumes. It was rather hard to figure out what to bring back, so in the end, Lux just grabbed a bunch of random stuff and hoped for the best. Hands full, she wandered back to her team.

Sander's smile beamed from ear to ear. He leaned over and whispered back to her, "I never doubted it." before turning to look at Alex.

Sander clapped his hands with excitement. "Awesome, Alex. I guess we now finally have our group. I think Adi has formed his group over there, so it'll just be four of us." he informed everyone.

Then he remembered what Tessa had suggested to Lux. "Yes we should name our group. Any suggestions?" he asked, before turning to Lux. "Lux why don't you go grab the stuff you need. Be creative, Cucumber." he suggested to her.

Sander walked over to help Lux. He took some of the props she had been carrying and helped bring them over to where the rest of the team stood. "What did you pick out for us, Cucumber?" Sander asked as he looked through the selection Lux had picked out.

Alex watched as Lex and Sander returned to the group with cameras and props. She had seen Lux around school, but had never actually met her. She decided to introduce herself and went over to where Lux was unloading her goodies. "Hi, I'm Alex", she said.

Turning to address the entire group, Alex agreed that it would be good to select a name for their team. "Has anyone thought of a name? I'm not very creative that way. I could only come up with corny names like The Fantastic Four or the Awesome Foursome. Not very original, huh?" Alex joined the others in looking through the selection of items Lux had brought.

Text Cut: teacher
Lizzie was keeping an eye on the students as they sprang into action. No doubt they'd find their groups soon enough then she could make her rounds checking....but this would be after because there was a volunteer!!! Woot woot!! It didn't really bother her that it was the Hufflepuff that wouldn't stop with the food that volunteered, she just liked taking photos no matter of what subject and grinned at him.

"Brilliant! Come on over! We have costumes to see to, your hair needs musing, the whole works!" Could he tell she was excited because she WAS.

Ian saw the teacher nod to him and she was EXCITED. Maybe he'd made a mistake and then she talked about costumes and hair and Oh my, what had he gotten himself into. He looked to her and then at the costumes and then decided might as well get into it. He was going to try and dress up as one of his favorite all time muggle performers, Elton John. He'd need a snazzy suit and a feather boa, some HUGE glasses and then platform shoes and finally, to top it off...an extremely extravagant hat.

He began sorting through what was left and found the things he was looking for, or at least the best approximations he could find in the wizarding world. He got a black robe trimmed with multicolored sequins with a hint of zebra striping. He found some boots that fit that added about 3 inches to his normal height. They were a little large and so they came to his knees. He found some square framed sunglasses and a bright yellow boa that accented his house colors. The 'pies de resistance' was a wide brimmed sun hat made of straw with a large pink flower accent.

He quickly got dressed and headed over to the photography teacher. All ready! he exclaimed with a beaming smile on his face.

*late* Anyone else need a partner?

Oh... okay. Volunteers? Nah. Astrid would pass. She wasn't going to pose in front of people she didn't really know. Look at all of them. She didn't know a single one, except maybe some of the Slytherins and Mama Hulk and Bro Alec and Sissy Ells. Astrid would've partnered up with them but, you know... they've got partners of their own already. Awkward.

Nope. What a loner. She sucked at this whole "finding a partner" thing.

Uhm. Okay, then. Astrid looked up at the professor!person. Was she a professor, even? Well, she did act like one. But yeah, Astrid looked up at her. Hi. She had no partner.

Of course, now that she was older she knew that wasn't likely.

But THIS. It was VALUABLE information, and she'd make sure to remember it.

Then Ms. Courwell was done talking about that and decided students should get into groups. Bev sunk back into her bean bag. Did that woman know how AWFUL she was at that? No. She wouldn't, BUT SHE WAS. Her anxiety kicked in, making her hands sweaty. Oh Merlin.

Yet, the third year stood, chin up. She was going to be brave. Yes. Brave. She inched forward. Paused. Tip toed around a bean bag. Paused. Then inch forward to where Ms. Courwell stood surrounded by students. Beverly's eyes gazed all around the room until they landed on the older woman.

"I-I volunteer." Y'know. If you want to. BUT THERE WERE SO MANY STUDENTS HERE.:whaa:

"Thanks!" For saying yes. You know. The third year stepped closer now that he'd been granted admittance to the group, and bounce-bounce-bounced on the balls of his feet, watching the photo lady go a'rummaging. Toby was curious about all this, and his eyes darted eagerly around the room as he attempted to watch every group at the same time and tried to satiate his apparent need to see everything that was going on. "Will we get to have a copy of these photos?" Tobias asked, turning his wonder-filled blue eyes back to Ms. Courwell.

I will need those in the very near future," she suggested to Ms. Courwell. You know, so she could send them in to directors and whatnot. From what she had learned at the Academy, having excellent, eye-popping headshots did help you get roles in the business. Alongside the terrific acting skills she had, of course. With that killer combination, she would surely wipe out all the competition.

Oooh! A box of props! Now that was something Demelza was very familiar with. Props were such a huge part in acting. As a plus, they were really fun to use. The instructor didn't need to tell her twice. Just moments after being directed to the box, she was already digging through it. There were so many options! What should she choose?

After rummaging through the box for a few minutes, she accumulated a pile of hats and jewelry and other little knick-knacks that she thought would look fantastic wearing. Demelza was already wearing some of the things she found. "Hey, you! You should totally put this on," she said to the Hufflepuff boy, handing over a suave fedora. "You would look great wearing this. Just don't cover your eyes with it. Eyes can piece the soul." Besides, you only needed to have your eyes covered to protect them from the sun or if you were spying on competition so they couldn't identify you. She looked over her shoulder at Ms. Courwell (yet another great photo opportunity) for approval.

Practically throwing herself from the beanbag she'd been sitting on Ana bounced her way back to the instructor, turning her best smile on her. "Can I work with you too please?" because there were already other people there, including can only be shot from the left girl. Ana wondered if she could make a rule that photo's should only be taken of her from the right? It would be interesting if she could implement it.

Lizzie was watching her little gang of photoshooters getting the things they would need from the box when yet another one approached her! Oh! The silent Pretty! Lovely! "Excellent!" She said, clapping her hands in excitement then gesturing toward the box. "I think there's already a basic theme for the shoot going off what your schoolmates are choosing," Eyes on the photogenic Gryffindor and all her fancy hats and jewellery. "You may pick accordingly then we can get this thing started!" Lizzie was eager and ready to go. This was going to be FUN.

She paused her rummaging and looked to the little ball of enthusiasm who was being offered choices by the Gryffindor. "Of course you can! There's no point in taking pictures if you can't keep them and remember the memories afterward!" All candid shots and organized shoot photos would be handed over to them with the except of a few because they were her memories too. Ahem.

The mention of headshots didn't go unheard by her. Lizzie gave a firm nod and a grin. "Sure thing! You can stop by my office when you do need them. Here's my card." She said handing her one she'd pulled from her shirt pocket. "For being so willing I'll even give you a discount."

Then more rummaging and the girl getting all the more extravagant things from the box. It was building up just the theme she was hoping for and her eyes shot to that backdrop. It would do perfectly. From the corner of her eyes she caught another shot that would have done the Gryffindor well but before she could capture it, there was another one volunteering. Eeep!! "Yes! Yes! Of course! I am just the thing for you." She dipped her hand into the box once again and pulled out a fancy hat contrasting that of the little Hufflepuff's. "Fancy."

Ready? Lizzie's head whipped around and there was the little Hufflepuff swankily dressed. "Brilliant! Alright everyone, I'd like for us to get moving on this. I'm seeing a night out in the city, fancy close, the extravagant look. Work those faces! Once you've gotten into costumes we'll move to that backdrop there, the one with the skyscrappers and street lights." It was almost like that American city, New York was it? The one that had Broadway?

Er.....the girl without a partner and thus no excitement...Lizzie looked to her, a bit puzzled. "Are you alright Dear? Would you like to join us or do you have a group?"........?

How could one group have FOUR people, when there were people in the room who didn't have a group yet? Better for these girls and Alec to hang out and for Mo go make someone else not feel left out.

"Maybe we can partner in another class. I do want to be a prized member, but I see a couple people without groups still. Spread the wealth, you know? Thanks though. Truly." He pointed to Benjy, who was trying to wave Mo down as an example.

............ Oh. Nevermind. That was the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain. Astrid could tell, of course. The badge was pinned to his robes and she saw it. Yeah. And he was inviting her over to join their duo? She grinned at him. "I'd love to." She didn't wanna be a longer after all, you know? Being alone wasn't a nice feeling especially seeing everyone else partnering up.

"Nice to meet you, Mo. I'm Astrid," she introduced herself. No title or anything. Just a Slytherin. Sixth year. New kid. All that stuff. Then she looked at the one beside him and she smiled. "Nice to meet you too, Benjy." Mo... Benjy. Gotta remember those names. But for the theme of their photoshoot. Astrid pondered. What was a nice theme?

Hmm. "Maybe we could do something that we're interested in? I like Quidditch." Mo probably liked it because he was Captain. Not sure for Benjy though.

Putting the Camera around his neck he shuffled through the costumes, he found two hats and some shirts and two pairs of pants.. and awesome two pairs of boots. Hoping that these will fit both of them.

Making his way back to Ella he tried not to drop anything. "Ella, I found some clothes and I hope they fit" he said while laying them down next to her.

Ella was standing with her hands on her hips, eyeing the backdrop thoughtfully. She'd never really thought much about the wild west and was trying to visualize things like Gran would. Get into character, so to speak. What kind of facial expressions did cowboys and girls even wear? Ella wasn't much for looking tough. Hm..

And then there was a bay with his hands quite full. The badger smiled at him and then observed the clothes, a small smile playing on her lips. "They look like they'll fit okay. Nice job." On the clothes picking and size guessing. Besides, what ever didn't fit could be shrunk or she could just roll up the sleeves. "I'll just...go change, then?" And the blonde grabbed the clothes and went to find some privacy. Were there dressing rooms or something? She was going to go find out. "Be back in two."

Or, y'know, maybe five.

Or, y'know, maybe five.

Bay nodded and was glad that she thought they would fit. "Thanks." he said while looking at the backdrop, yeah everything should work. "that sounds like a plan.. I think I saw the change rooms near the cameras" he mentioned to her while he watched her walk away. Bay moved the clothes around for him to wear later if he needed to.

But Benjy! That was brilliant. "So let's start thinking about the props we want to gather. Any ideas?"

Benjy nodded and grinned, holding out a fist for his fellow sixth year to bump. "Sure." Mo wouldn't make him feel like the odd one out, would he? And Cat would be far more photogenic in front of the camera than Benjy, that was for sure.

As for props? Benjy looked doubtfully at the rather flamboyantly dressed Hufflepuff ickle in the teacher's volunteer group. "Not like that, that's for sure..."

Not matchmaking or anything. Just inviting random pretty girls to participate in class. "I'm Mo, this is Benjy. We're trying to think of a theme for our photo shoot."

Hmm. "Maybe we could do something that we're interested in? I like Quidditch." Mo probably liked it because he was Captain. Not sure for Benjy though.

Astrid. Slytherin by her robes. He flashed her a smile. "Likewise," he replied, thankfully completely unaware of Mo's internal musings. Wasn't he meant to have a thing for Gryffindors? Cough.

Another glance at the Huffie, who was now singing, if it could be described as that, and Benjy gulped. Until Astrid came up with a suggestion. "I can do Quidditch," he said. "We could do something like those photoshoots they do in Quidditch Weekly, the full page ones. Y'know the ones the mean?" Surely Mo read the magazine?

Five, it had definitely been five. Bay had been right about the changing rooms, too. Observant, he was. The costume wasn't altogether uncomfortable which was nice. The only problem was that when she returned, the Gryffindor wasn't wearing his.

O__O

"Wait, are you just going to take pictures of me or?" Now she was nervous. Was she even particularly photogenic? Oh gosh. "I mean, I don't mind but um...I can be behind the camera taking pictures of you too at some point, yeah?" Please?

The blonde shuffled over in front of the backdrop and smiled sheepishly at the boy.

"I'll be back" he told her as he made his way to the change rooms.

Oh. Here. For Mo and Astrid and Benjy.

To be honest, Caterina had found she was having a bit more trouble focusing now than she had before. She assumed that would be something to bring up to the healer at her next check in, but for now, all it was doing for her was that she'd gotten distracted watching the pictures. Eventually she noticed that Mo was gone and people were grouping up. Rigghhhttt. She made her way over to his direction and added herself to the group of three, which now made it three and a half since really, she was mostly just half.

Oh look, it was that new girl from her dorm. Hi new girl. Cat smiled in turn at the new Slytherin and the uhh Ravenclaw boy. Hi. Don't mind this Caterina. She was harmless, especially since her dominant punching arm was wrapped up in a sling. "Hello." She was here. Obviously. Now, what were they doing?

Rosa Chispa Princessa 01-18-2014 05:59 PM

For Gwen and Alec

"Alright then, I'll get back to my group then". "Oichi walked back over to Alec and Gwen. She then looked toward Gwen, "I'm so sorry for the fuss, I smoothed things over with Mo but he still chose to have a group of his own saying that so many people were still partnerless." She then turned to Alec and said, "I'm sorry you have had to see all this drama. I never meant for things to escalate like this.". She then looked at the both of them. "Now, let's put this all behind us and have some fun", Oichi said putting a bright pink boa around Gwens neck and giving her a little dance twirl.

Ms. Courwell's group ^-^

T___T

There was a theme? Dress up? Being the only female in her home the only dressing up she did was...well...when she was really young. But it wasn't rocket science. Bev nodded at the woman.

Okay. Ready. Yeah.

The third year briskly walked over to the box and picked out random things. She ended up with a super fluffy white scarf-thing, a pair of bright red (was it vintage?) sunglasses and a white sunhat. That would suffice, no?

Turning around she recognized all of Ms. Courwell's group. HOLLY CHINESE FIREBALLS! There were a lot of people. (Five is a lot, okay?)

Her eyes widened. "C-Can I just take the picture?" PLEASE.

"So, who wants to help? I'll get started with the cameras.'' He grinned and bounded off, eager to get this show on the road. He hoped someone was coming to help him because right now his three friends seemed a bit chatty. Adi wondered what kind of costumes were there. Maybe some really old fashioned stuff? Yeah. They were always fun and interesting.

Kace nodded when Adi was in charge. "I will come with you Adi!" Kace called out to him and he met up with him. "Alright so we need to cameras right..." he trailed off looking at them. He needed to remember how to use them. Kace was wondering what kind of costumes they were gonna be put into. This was gonna be interesting. "Wonder what kind of costumes we are gonna get huh?" he asked his buddy.

"'Cept I don't really want to be in front of the camera." She'd do the picture snapping, though.

Okay, so group.

Schuyler didn't really want to stand here asking for a group with no one agreeing to BE in her group. But luckily this wasn't a problem as Alice promptly made her status known. Here! Group member right here. Yesss, Schuyler wanted an Alice in her group. Alice was interesting, and Schuyler liked interesting. Liked Alice in general. She grinned at the other girl.

"But you'd look so good in front of the camera."

No, she just didn't care, but she was here for reasons she supposed.

Oh, but that voice. It was familiar.

She looked up to see Schulyer and decided that yes she would join her in.... whatever. "Gryffindor with a sword." She said when finally by the girl's side. "Dangerous. Even if it is fake. I'll join your group." Because Dora's like danger. Even the fake kind.

The sword was still in Schuyler's hand when Dora approached, but now it was at her side rather than in the air. Yes, Gryffindors and swords were a good pair. "Dangerous Dora," Schuyler commented as she poked her friend in the stomach with the tip of the blade. And now with the inclusion of Dangerous Dora, their group had turned into a nice trio. Yes.

And that reminded her of the 'selfie' that they was taken just before they came to hogwarts. Such thing excited the snake and she was all ears. All ears that she didn't get to speak.

Nice lady there, too. Seemed to know what she was doing.

And now time to get all ready for her picture. Oh, wait. She needed a group didn't she?

Squinting through the crowds, the sixth-year walked towards two Gryffindors and a Ravenclaw This group lacked a blond. She casually inserted herself inbetween. "We can take turns," She suggested. Yes, she was in this group.

But it was made even better when a certain blondie slithered on in between them like the snake that she was. Slytherin snake. Cassia snake. Schuyler flashed an amused smile and squeezed her shoulder. "Sure. We can take turns." Rotate between photographer and models and all that. Although Ms. Courwell didn't even give them their actual assignment, but it would probably be to.. well, snap photos, yeah?

"I'm not really about taking pictures, but I'll be a model." Sure. They could take snaps of him, he didn't mind. He mussed his hair with one hand and dropped down into one of the beanbags.

Which was a thing, because of being so tall, it was quite the drop. Huh. Getting up might be tough. He decided to just lounge there and make it look all deliberate.

They were a group of four attractive girls which meant that boys probably wanted to join. And which boy actually did join but West, naturally. One of Schuyler's favorite boys. West who was ruffling up his long hair and flopping onto a beanbag all casually. "Very model-esque of you." Schuyler shifted her weight and tapped her chin, as if thinking deeply. "Can you show us your Love Is Eternal face?" If he failed then he only got to be a hand-model.

She turned and glanced down at the prop box, then at her fellow group members. "Soo.. anything in particular you guys want to use? I like this sword. Also the boas." She lifted a feathery purple boa with the tip of her sword. Did they want a mishmash of things? Or a theme? Orrrrrr what? The Gryffindor wasn't too bent on anything. The sword and boa could be spared. No biggie.

He wished he would have been listening better instead of figuring out which bum movements he wanted to use when shaking it came into play.

Just at that moment something caught his eye. "Oh I'm so using this too." Pulling out the colorful wig and threw it on his head now he had the big hair and the red nose. This was the goofy perfect he was looking for. "Now I'm ready, what do you think?" Let Slytherin dude decide if it was fully approved or not.

"So now we just find a place to take the picture or well a tent, right?" Hopefully Caleb knew what they were doing, because he sure didn't.

Caleb laughed. This kid was reckless, but he was pretty fun. Caleb decided he liked this boy. Yes. He was a tolerable Gryffindor. After all, his parents were both lions so it made sense to have some lion friends, yeah? Nevermind that he still didn't really know his name.

"I like it. Ok so, let's head to the tent and grab a camera..." he said, trailing off. He was a bit confused on what to do next, but he decided to head over to the groups that were all getting ready to take their pictures. They could just follow their lead, yes?

It was like they lived in his brain or something, although his brain had been thinking something like 'Cat might hate doing Quiddditch 'cause it'll make her sad for arm reasons'... but y'know. It was still in his brain.

"Quidditch works for me," Mo finally said hesitantly. "Just... maybe go see what they have in the prop box? Helmets and pads and jerseys and things? Are there any brooms?" He gave Cat a cautious side-eye. She was okay?

Lux smiled at Sander appreciatively as he helped her bring all the stuff back over, since it was quite a bit for the young girl to carry and the huge pile made it hard for her to see where she was going. "I just grabbed a bit of everything," she admitted. Not really caring a lot about dressing up unless it was for Halloween or a costume party, she had not put all that much thought into it. Taking pictures seemed interesting, she supposed... but she was much more interested in the process of developing wizard photographs than she was in snapping photos of her friends or putting on an outfit and striking silly poses. That was the kind of thing she could see Willa enjoying, since Willa loved dressing up and having attention on her.

Turning her attention to Alex, she smiled at the girl. "Nice to meet you, I am Lux." Fortunately Alex was an easier name to remember than some of the other ones she had heard so far, which meant that there was no doubt she would have no difficulty remembering it. "I'm bad at names, sorry guys." Maybe she would have come up with one, but she was wanting to get this photo shoot over with. Why couldn't they be taking pictures of nature instead? Some of the places on the grounds were very pretty.

Oichi and Alec

Gwen giggled as Oichi draped a boa around her, twirling and striking a ridiculous diva pose. Now that everything was smoothed over, if she was going to be the subject of a photo, it was going to look like fun!

She stepped closer to Oichi, holding out her hands for the camera. "Mind if I take a few pictures of you guys?" They should have a theme in their pictures right? "Do you guys want to do a theme? Or just a group of different shots?" She took a step back and snapped a picture of both of them.

Moving on. "Let's just stay in a group," she said quickly. Four was a lot better. Besides, it allowed for variety of pictures right? Focusing on interaction or whatever. "Oichi already went to get supplies."

Why was everyone in this group, including Gwen, just kind of waiting around for others to make decisions? "Shall we brainstorm ideas on what we want to do for our pictures?" or maybe they should wait. Maybe the instructor had specific instructions for them. Or maybe she just wanted them to be creative.

"I didn't mean to intrude. I can find another group. I think five is probably too many." Mo saluted his Hufflebear!Bro, Alec, before glancing once again around the room for someone not in a group. She waved at her group. "I'm Gwenhwyfar Jensen, first year Ravenclaw, but most people call me Gwen."

Whoops. Oichi didn't want to make the group any bigger, and she was right. Five probably was too big. Maybe they should split up into more groups? She still didn't want Mo to be alone. That wasn't fair.

Um, he was touching her hair. Why was he touching her hair? It was probably a mess now, and not that she cared, but he wasn't like her brother or anything. Come to think of it, none of her brothers really ruffled her hair either. It was kind of friendly. And weird. But mostly friendly.

Okay, Mo was going. "Sorry," she waved awkwardly. This had gotten out of hand. Oh! and Oichi was going after him. Could this be anymore uncomfortable? She buried her head in her hands feeling awkward. This had all spun out of control because Gwen had made simple eye contact with Mo, not wanting him to be without a group.

Lots of things had happened and what was Alec doing? Staring. At the photo of the crups that were right near Gwen. Look at how AWESOME those crups were! ... He wanted one. But would the crup get along with his own puppy? Or would they get into a lot of--

... Huh?

Blinking, Alec zoned back into his surroundings. Mo was joining them? That was AWE-- ... No. No no. Mo was LEAVING. Sad puppy!Alec was sad. He smiled, though, and saluted the boy back, even if the Ravenbear was a little further away. Maybe next time? If he could get a request in before Cat.

Back to the group? He looked back at the two girls and the younger boy just in time to see Oichi draping a feather boa around Gwen. A small chuckle left the seventh year's mouth and he shook his head. The two weren't going to make him dress up ridiculously, were they? Feather boas, glitter all over his face -- leave the glitter out of the hair, yeah? -- and a tutu?

... Messy would have a field day.

As for the apology, Alec shook his head and said, "No need to apologise. Water under the bridge." There were better things to talk about, like what theme they're going to have for their photos. "A theme sounds great! We can take a lot of ridiculous pictures from those, yeah?" The more ridiculous, the better. ... Maybe. "What theme should we have?"
