As you step into the room, you find the walls covered in photos of varying sizes; some taller than the average student and others no bigger than an average desk frame. The subjects of the photos vary as well, each revealing another moment caught in time. The first thing you’ll notice about the photos is that they are all moving: children twirling, bouncing cruppies, partners dancing, the whole nine yards.
In the corner of the room is a black tent, not very wide and taking up no notable amount of space, but the inside has been charmed to fit every and anyone participating in the seminar today. The inside is dimly lit and contains two long sets of tables on which are little bottles of developing solution. Watch your step and don’t break anything once you’re allowed inside.
For now, the Instructor is standing by a small table toward the front of the room with a wide grin plastered on her face, a magical camera slung around her neck, and what looks like an ordinary box with the lid closed. You’re free to ask what’s inside and of course Ms. Courwell is free to choose whether or not she’ll respond.
The room itself is littered with bean bag chairs so feel free to come in and have a seat. The seminar will be starting soon.

When Caleb said about the tent he nodded and then looked over at them. "Wait I think we do the picture at the back drop first before doing ummm well something at the tent." He wasn't sure, but the others looked to be doing the backdrops.
"Which one should we use?" Bart glanced at Caleb there seemed to be many to pick from but which would be best for a clown and a journalist or whatever Caleb was doing with the journal.
"Hmm...library maybe? That's not an appropriate place for a clown," Caleb pointed out with a grin. It would make sense - Caleb being the good student he was, trying to study and being distracted by a clown instead. And it totally fit Gryffie boy's personality too.
He walked over to the nearby backgrounds that were set up and waited until the library one was free before motioning for Gryffie boy to follow him.

But yeah, she followed what Mo said and checked in the prop box. "There's helmets here and..." She dug through the box a little bit more. "... Found a jersey!" She held it up.
And Astrid was totally fine with the styling thing with the other girl. Girl power, anyone? They could really dress them up whatever they wanted. After all, it sounded really fun. No problem.

And then he found some things his side of the box too. "Goggles!" he said, pulling hard on the strap and then twanging it back on to his hand in the process. "Ow!" He wrinkled his nose at them, especially since when he looked at them close up, he realised that they could only be described as 'vintage'. They could still make them work though.
"Any sight of a broom your end, Astrid?" Not the easiest to have a Quidditch shoot without a broom of any sort. It didn't even have to fly really...just look the part.
"She has a Quidditch injury," Mo made proud faces in Cat's direction, even if he HATED that she was hurt. Hurt in the best of ways, at least, and he was proud that she wasn't afraid to get back on a broom. Not yet, at least.
Mo took stock of the items they were pulling out of the boxes as he examined the cameras provided by the instructor. Not bad... could he use his own? He glanced around for her before deciding he just WOULD use his own. It had regular old film in it that could be developed the same as whatever she had, and it was a new roll.
"So jerseys and... can I wear the goggles? And Benjy should wear the helmet. And brooms... we really need brooms. But yeah... this is a good start." He really wished they had an appropriate back drop. A pitch or a locker room or something Quidditchy, but maybe they could fake it. "Do they have any banners in there? Quidditch ones, or some we can alter? And let's drag over a bench to put in front of bare wall."

She was going to let Benjy and Astrid dig for things cause they already were, "Maybe I should do something behind the scenes.... a Quidditch Weekly wouldn't have a wounded player in their pictures, right?" She wasn't trying to be difficult, but like... right?
"Yeah," Mo flashed a quick and grateful smile at Cat for being a good sport. She was always such a good sport. "You can be in the picture too. I think you and Astrid should do that sort of lazy model pose where you lean against each other, and you can hide your sling behind her body. We'll position you so it looks like we can see you, but really you're hidden. Or we can put the jersey over top of it and leave the sleeve empty."
But she was going to be in the picture. Period. "If we can get two brooms, that should be plenty."

The third year briskly walked over to the box and picked out random things. She ended up with a super fluffy white scarf-thing, a pair of bright red (was it vintage?) sunglasses and a white sunhat. That would suffice, no?
Turning around she recognized all of Ms. Courwell's group. HOLLY CHINESE FIREBALLS! There were a lot of people. (Five is a lot, okay?)
Her eyes widened. "C-Can I just take the picture?" PLEASE.

Nodding to Lizzie to show she was listening Ana nearly ran over to the box with the rest of the group. She wanted to look glamorous and needed to grab something good before all the great looking pieces were gone.
As Ana joined in the rummaging she picked out a few lovely looking hats, and of course some classic jewellery. She slipped the earrings on almost as soon as she found them, along with the rings she picked, but the necklace was a bit harder. She wanted one that made a statement, because she didn't want to wear a feather boa thingie, they made her get all itchy and that wasn't conducive to a good photo. Around the bottom of the box she found just the thing she was looking for. It looked glamorous but was also chunky enough to be a statement piece, and as a bonus it looked young too. Putting it around her neck Ana grabbed one of the blue hats that she selected, because it went with her outfit and she thought it would look great with her red hair, and messed around with it for a few minutes before getting it just perfect.
Ana pulled out her mirror, checked that her make-up was still perfect and touched up her lipstick, red of course, making sure that none was on her teeth, nor would get on her teeth, before turning back to Ms Courwell. "I'm ready," she told her agreeing with the other two members of her group that had already spoken up.

But then Ms. Courwell was speaking and SETTING THE SCENE. The fedora would do quite nicely for now. Toby moved over to the backdrop and took a moment to admire it before turning back again. Unless she wanted a photo of the back of his head or something.
OKAY WHAT NOW.
Lizzie kept an eye on the rest of the students scattered around the room even while she watched the ones in her own group. It didn't look like anyone needed help and there was no one going into the tent. Things were going smoothly in her book!
She looked to the Silent Pretty and gave her small smile. "I'm afraid not Hun, this is a photoshoot and you get to be one of the stars! It's a good thing! Enjoy it!" Her smile grew wider until it resembled a grin and she gave the girl a gentle nudge toward the backdrop they would be using. The others were ready for the most part, no need to keep them waiting.
The food centered Hufflepuff was good to go, she pointed him in the direction of the backdrop as well then turned to the Slytherin who's joined a bit late.
This girl was ready as well, yeah? Excellent, off to the backdrop and LOOK, the little ball of enthusiasm!! "Looking good!" She gestured for him to head over there as well in fact she started ushering them all. Surely they were done by now.
"I want it to look natural but glamourous. You're best smiles and think DAZZLE! Vegas! Show bizz! A night out on the town! Lemme see those poses!" She instructed, lifting the camera to begin. Surely they would know how to coordinate with each other to make the shots work because she wanted them ALL in it.

Lux listened to Sander and Tessa, nodding at what they came up with for a name. It seemed like that was good enough for her.
Watching Sander start to look through the costumes she brought, she gave out a sigh. "I'm sorry I didn't make a theme for this. I don't really like dressing up in fancy costumes." Maybe someone else should have done it instead of her. "But maybe statues are a good idea."

"I wouldn't. Really. Behind it is the place for me," she told Schuyler. The seventh year truly wasn't made for the spotlight. This girl, though... well, everybody knew she was perfect for that lens, for the exact same reason Alice was slightly worried about her boyfriend joining their group. Ahem.
And Dora too? "But if I'm the one snapping shots, I get to look at your pretty face. Better reason." She gave her best friend's nose a tweak. Cassia got a smile when she popped up, and so did West, plus funny looks when he tried making that face at her. Love wasn't eternal. Psh.
Hand modeling for him.
"Can I still have a sword if I'm not in the pictures?" Yeah? 'Cause even if they took turns, Alice wasn't moving to the other side of the camera.

A little more slumpy Bart headed over to them. "Maybe for extra credit we could just go to the library for real time pictures." Hopeful Bart could be the most dangerous when it came to ideas. He waited, "Now is this camera self take or do we have to find someone?" He looked around to see what the answer might be and got distracted by his nose falling off.
Adi grinned at his best bud. "Sure!'' Adi grabbed a camera. "She said someone from each group take a camera, right?'' He was sure the woman said that but there was no harm in double checking.
Costumes were what Adi was looking forward to. "Should we go with a theme? Or we all just go random? I want to go old fashioned like stuff from the Three Musketeers or something but I don't mind trying something else.'' he asked Kace and turning around to look for his second year friends. Where were those guys? "We'll need props too.''
"Yeah she did." he said confirming his doubt. "The professor said that." There was no harm in double checking. Then he asked a question and he nodded. "Yeah we should go with a theme. It would be so much easier to handle. Oh the 3 musketeers theme? Hmm...that would be interesting..." he said pondering about it. "I am so in!" he said.
"Oh yeah we will need props." he said looking around. "What kind of props do we need, i know like swords..."
Alec raised his eyebrows. Gwen was quick on the ball, wasn't she? Not that Alec was complaining since he didn't really have any good ideas himself. So... yeah. Good on you, Gwen. ... Who had a really long name. Gwen. He was going to stick to Gwen.
The ideas? The seventh year tapped his chin with his forefinger, all the while trying to imagine which one would be the best. Family? That meant that he would be the Dad, right? He had a jealous girlfriend and this boy wasn't any better in the jealousy department so... maybe not that? That left the others, all of which sounded really really gre--
... And then he let out a chuckle.
Lucas. Good to know the guy's name. And he seemed really excited about the superheroes idea, did he know? "I like superheroes idea, too. We can all be different ones and take a very... heroic picture together," he said, grinning at the boy and then at the two girls, "You two okay with that or... do you want to go with another theme?"

And we have a consensus on superheroes and silliness, but what about the cowboys Oichi turned toward Lucas and said, "Hi Lucas, welcome to the group, I'm Oichi". She then turned to the group as a whole and said, "I like both super heroes and goofiness but that may be too little of themes. Can't we do cowboys too?".

If there was one thing that Tobias was good at, it was smiling. And beaming. And grinning. And variations thereupon.
He stood in front of the backdrop and looked a little lost for the moment, but quickly tried to get into it. Toby grinned and tried to imagine what it was ACTUALLY be like to go to Vegas. All the splendour and lights and all sorts. He gripped the lapel parts of his robes and tried his super best to look like he was ACTUALLY enjoying a night out.
Mostly he tried to look cool, with the slightly crooked fedora and everything it seemed to make sense. He probably failed though, because his smile was so enthusiastic.
Trying very hard not to bounce, Tobias waited to see what others in the group would do, so he could react and look more natural alongside them.

"Yes, you would." And Schuyler didn't know why Alice thought otherwise. Though if anyone was going to get the other girl to change her mind, it'd be Dora. And even still, Alice spoke against the limelight with such conviction that Schuyler didn't foresee any successful convincing right now. Maybe they could drag her or something later. That'd serve as an interesting shot..
But back to Dora. Correction: Very Dangerous Dora. Who.... didn't want props? At least Cassia was eager to sport a boa. Looked good with it, too. All feathery and fun. "We should all at least have boas on." Please? Schuyler turned and grabbed a handful of them. She smiled as she tossed one to West, draped another over Dora's shoulders, and spiraled one up around Alice's head. Oh yeah, then took a purple one for herself. That too.
"Maybe we could all be in the same frame. Group photos." Didn't they think? Individual shots would be a little odd. And probably not as much fun. Or at least not to start off with, yeah?
But now was the time to evaluate West's Love Is Eternal face. So she watched his features change. Then glanced at his girlfriend. Then back to West. And tried - unsuccessfully - to stifle her smirk. Her chuckle was suppressed, though. Yeah, maybe she wouldn't comment on that. But she did smile when Alice asked about the sword. "Swords for Gryffindors." And they were the two lions, yeah? She turned around her sword so that she was holding onto the blade while she offered the handle.
Meanwhile Schuyler shoved around some props in the box with her other hand because she still wanted a saber, too. "So, let's go find a backdrop and get this started.." Fishing, fishing through the box..

She didn't want to be a star. She wanted to be the person behind the lens. The one to capture a moment. INNER WHINE. The third year refrained from stomping her foot and pouting. It'd make her look like the brat she was a year ago.
Not going there again. She was a TEENAGER now.
With a sigh, she responded to Ms. Courwell's nudge by moving toward the backdrop. The Hufflepuff boy from potions (Tobias) stood there, beaming, smiling. All happy-like. Why was he SO HAPPY?
Once again, she had to refrain from rolling her eyes.
Okay, okay. Pose time. Okay... HOW DO YOU POSE? Beverly's lips slowly stretched into a forced smile. Then she placed a hand on her hip and popped it out, super model style. Yvanna taught her that one. Then she tossed her long hair over her shoulder.

The Hufflepuff beamed and bounced on his toes some more and stepped closer, taking the fedora and jamming it onto his head, but being careful not to mess up his perfect hair. "Like this?" he asked, adjusting it so his soul-piecing eyes could still be seen well.
But then Ms. Courwell was speaking and SETTING THE SCENE. The fedora would do quite nicely for now. Toby moved over to the backdrop and took a moment to admire it before turning back again. Unless she wanted a photo of the back of his head or something.
OKAY WHAT NOW.
Marigold was a bit confused with what was going on in life. But anyway, she looked around for someone familiar.

She skipped over to the aforementioned and tapped on his shoulder.

He wrinkled his nose at them, especially since when he looked at them close up, he realised that they could only be described as 'vintage'. They could still make them work though.
"Any sight of a broom your end, Astrid?" Not the easiest to have a Quidditch shoot without a broom of any sort. It didn't even have to fly really...just look the part.

We'll position you so it looks like we can see you, but really you're hidden. Or we can put the jersey over top of it and leave the sleeve empty."
But she was going to be in the picture. Period. "If we can get two brooms, that should be plenty."
Awww. Astrid looked at the girl, whose name she just found out. Cat. Hehe. Meow. "I hope your arm gets better," she smiled at her. Broken arms weren't cool, you know? Even if Astrid never really tried getting an arm injury, it seemed awful because then she wouldn't be able to play Quidditch or do much with an arm on a sling. But then... Quidditch injury? For some reason, that made Astrid feel better about the whole broken arm thing. "Doesn't it show how strong a person is?" Just to lift the mood up. Astrid hated seeing people down because it made her feel sad too, apparently.

It'd work as a sort of banner, no? He draped it over the nearby wooden bench they'd be using. Still no broom to be found though.
Unless...was that a toy broom over there? "Astrid, what's that bit of wood sticking up? Just by your left hand?" If it was a toy broom, they could always enlarge it. Or use perspective to good effect. Or something. There was a reason he was in charge of kit and not styling...

Sooo Hannah was not in an energetic mood and she was moving soooo slowly, but she managed to rummage around and found her a crown. A snort escaped the Slytherins mouth. Oh yes, this was very fitting of her and she immediately placed it on her head. Ohhh... there were lace gloves and pearls too. Hannah scooped them up and placed them where they needed to be.
It was time already? Whew! She had just managed to get everything on. This whole moving like a grandma was not really going to work for her, but she a tad bit excited to see how fabulous she would look in these photos. So were they to do them all together? Surely the woman understood that Hannah looked too good to just be doing group photos.

A Quidditch injury made it sound much more glamours than it really was, to be honest. The truth to it was that she was a fail Quidditch player who couldn't keep a hold on her broomstick. But Caterina decided to roll with it. The truth was a downer and she didn't want to be a downer. She gave Astrid another and much bigger smile. She liked this girl, she was nice and Cat appreciated nice people. They were going to have to talk more. In the dorm, or something. Not right now, cause they were busy and all, plus, boys. Girl talk with boys around wasn't the way to do things.

No one seemed to mind having a wounded person in their photoshoot, so Cat supposed she could be a good sport and not make a fuss. "If I'm going to be in the pictures, you're going to be in the pictures too." Cat jabbed Mo's side and gave him a look. He couldn't just take pictures.
Interviews with injured players? "Maybe we can think of a gruesome story to go with it." She added to Benjy, "The more gruesome, the more interesting." Oh? Did they find a broom? Cat watched with curious eyes. Broomsticks were super important to the theme.

He was a character, Bay was. Ella laughed a bit at his antics and settled herself behind the camera, already having caught his little "bang, bang" motion with a click of the button. "Nicely done."
"How about a little fake lasso action? Cowboys roped hogs and stuff, didn't they?" Or like...barrels or something. Ella wasn't sure but it seemed legit. Go on, smile big for the camera, Gryffindor.
"So what does your Dad do, anyway?" She was curious and since they'd been talking about Dads, why not ask.

Caught off guard by the touch on her arm, Hannah whipped around to see who it was that was brave enough to get that close to her. "OWWW" It was her back. It felt like something popped and she was in pain. Merlin... first her elbow and now this. What was really going on? There was definitely something not right with her. It was more than just moving around like a grandma.
What was she even doing? Oh yeah. "Just standing next to me will allow you to have great photos." He wouldn't have to do anything else. She tried to straighten her back and push through, but honestly she was starting to freak out a bit.

Bay was having so much fun in front of the camera.. which was weird… he didn't like getting his picture taken but it was making the best out of the situation. hearing her click while he was shooting his fingers he laughed.. "Thanks" he said while bowing.
fake lasso.. that sounded great. "Here ya go" while he threw his hand in the air and started to swing it like he had a lasso in his hand. then he decided to ride a fake horse. "yeeeehhhaaawwww" he said while moving his legs.
Bay stood still for a second, my dad.. you know he's never thought about what his father did for work. "Im not sure.. I know he works for the Ministry but like he works from home and his office is on the top floor of our house with his bed room…..I'm not allowed to go up there… Third floor is off limits for me" maybe he should try to figure out what his father did.. maybe during the summer he can sneak up there and see his work.. "Once I know though i'll let you know" he told her.
Okay….right….they were taking pictures and Bay wanted to keep up his end of the bargain and do the best he could.. More poses were coming Ella's way.
