Healer Tillstorm Image by LilFox06

She was allowed to go inside. Rhodes kind of peeeeeked her face around the frame of the door, to let the Healer know that she was there and to see if there was anyone in the office with her. She figured this meeting thing, or whatever it was, was because of Romulus, and even though she hadn't even seen the boy recently, she just assumed he was going to be in there, too. Thankfully, he wasn't. While the whole squashed cauldron cake incident on the train was a good gesture, she didn't want the Hufflepuff to be there when she told the Healer about the thing being squashed. He would've probably had something to say about that. Sure, she may have scared him so much that he squashed the thing, but it was SQUASHED! Why would he even think about giving it to her? Pfft. Rhodes made her way inside the office, and putting on a nice smile for the woman, took a stand right by her desk. "I came as soon as I received your owl, Healer Tillstorm." Well, maybe it was almost an hour after she had received it. But she wasn't about to say that. |
Ohh, the Healer had called them in! Finally. Sophie rose from the bench and followed Rhodes into the office. She didn't really know the older girl very well, but seeing as they were in the same house, she at least knew her name. Oh, so...Rhodes had been called here? Now Sophie just felt like a bother. She knew she should have done this last term. Err... "Hello, Healer Tillstorm," she greeted. "I can wait until you're done with Rhodes if I need to." The girl had been called in, after all. Sophie lingered by a seat and waited to be asked to sit down. She'd always been taught to do that. |
Both of you Healer Tillstorm looked up to see just who it was she told to come into her office. "Hello Rhodes. Come in and have a seat." Right there, in front of her desk. And then another student entered the office. "No, you're fine Sophie. Go ahead and have a seat." Her conversation with Rhodes could wait a few moments. "What can I do for you? Are you getting settled back into school okay?" She probably should have asked Rhodes if she was settled in too, but she had her there for other reasons. Reasons she would get to soon enough. |
Oh, wait, no what? Rhodes glanced over at Sophie as soon as she began to talk to the Healer and quickly shook her head. Whatever it was that Tillstorm wanted to talk to her about could definitely wait until they were done talking. After all, the other girl had been waiting to see the Healer first. And even though she didn't want to be sitting in an office for more than she had to, it was much better than going to classes, so those two could take as loooooong as they wanted to. She was just going to sit down on the seat the Healer gestured to and listen. Was Sophie getting settled back into school okay? It was a very important question. |
Quote:
"I'm settling in okay," she said with a nod, "but I do want to come back later. Thank you anyway, though." With that, she sort of edged toward the door a little more. She didn't want to just turn on her heels and abruptly leave. |
Rhodes & Sophie Rhodes sure was being mighty quiet today. Healer Tillstorm was pretty sure if it was Romulus sitting there instead of Sophie, Rhodes would in no way be this quiet. Maybe she would have to call the boy to her office too. Now Sophie on the other hand. Cece was glad to hear the girl had settled in. Oh, but now she was getting up to leave? Maybe the girl wasn't as settled as the healer thought. She looked from Sophie to Rhodes, then back to Sophie. Was there something Sophie needed to say that couldn't be said in front of Rhodes? And if so it must not be all that important since she was willing to leave and come back later. "Alright. You can stop by any time you want. If you don't find me in my office you can always come by the infirmary to see me." Her students didn't need to be injured or ill to come see her. Once Sophie was gone, Cece turned her attention back to Rhodes. "So tell me Rhides, how are you getting along with others? Making any new friends?" Meaning how were things going with her and Romulus? |
And then.. Sophie was gone. Rhodes might have taken some sort of offense to that, but seeing as her and the Healer's conversation was so incredibly boring, not like she thought it was going to be, she doubted it was going to get any more interesting, so it was probably best that she did leave. She didn't want to have to sit there, since she was owled into the office, she couldn't just leave, while those two were just pleasant with eachother. She'd rather be in class. She did give the younger girl a wave, though, just before she left before turning back to Tillstorm and.. She was asking her those types of questions, too!? She thought this meeting was supposed to be about Romulus, not how SHE was doing. And making friends? Pfft. Rhodes stared at the Healer and brought her shoulders up in a shrug. Shrug. "I lit Romulus on fire in Potions class." Even if it was the assignment. But she didn't think that was important. |
THAT was NOT what Cece meant by making new friends. "Have you gone mad child?! WHY would you set someone on fire? And WHY of all people would you set one of my family members on fire, and then tell me about it?" And where the hell had this new potions professor been at the time? Why was he allowing things like this to happen? And damn it. Why didn't Romulus come to her about this? And here Cece thought with Lafay gone she wouldn't have to worry about people getting set on fire anymore. Apparently that wasn't the case though. |

The look on Tillstorm's face! Rhodes was trying her hardest, her absolute hardest not to burst out laughing, but it really was just too funny. Did the Healer REALLY think she would light someone on fire? During class? And did she really think that, if Romulus was lit on fire, he wouldn't be sent to the Hospital Wing to get treated? Would she still have been allowed in Hogwarts if she was some crazy pyromaniac who lit people on FIRE!? She didn't know the Headmistress, but from the few times she had seen her at the opening and closing feasts, it didn't seem like she was the type of person who would tolerate that kind of stuff. "I didn't really light him on fire." A few small giggles escaped from her mouth, but she quickly clasped her hands over it to stop them. Not a good thing, laughing at a time like this. "I mean.. well.. I kind of blew fire on him. But it didn't hurt him and the Professor was in the room while I did it. And it was part of the assignment!" She was so going to tell Romulus about this. |
Okay, so she was supposed to wait outside the office and knock on the door and wait for it to be answered as per official rules, but this was an EMERGENCY!! Gwen shoved open the door and dashed in. "Healer Tillstorm!" she gasped, out of breath. "Come quick. It's professor Flamsteed! He fell down in class. He looks really hurt." From what she could see with all of the people crowding around him. Also, Alec had sounded pretty freaked, so it could be important. |

Oichi saw another young kid come rushing by right into the healers office. Man, did these young ones have no manners. Emergency or not this was just crazy behavior. She was surprised the little one made it in. She followed her in and realized it was Gwen and said, "Gwen, you're actions are incredibly rude even for an emergency." She turned the healer and said, "I'm sorry Miss Tilstorm, these young ones are a bit anxious because our Astronomy professor just collapsed in the classroom. He needs you're help.". |
Theo stared and blinked several times at Cassia and West when they arrived, as if he was communicating with them via blink!code. He was nervous, basically, but felt a lot better in the company of them both. Now hopefully this will be a quick, 5 minute thing. When Tillstorm arrived, Theo stood up sharply, and sheeeeeeeesh, hello to you too. He reluctantly entered the office first but stood very close to the door once he was inside. He tapped his fingers against his legs and waited.... Aaaaaaand he cleared his throat once... or twice, but stopped himself from going for a third. |
Adrienne had managed to calm herself down somewhat on the way down to the Hospital Wing, but she was still a little bit out of breath when she got there. To her surprise, the door to Tillstorm's office was open, and there were voices coming from inside. She entered behind the two who were already there and cast a nervous look at Gwen. She didn't know the other girl, (Rosa Chispa Princessa) who was much older than her, but she looked way too calm for the situation. "Oh, never mind that," she said. Niceties were not exactly the most important thing right now. "the Headmistress showed up and made him sit down and I think it made things a whole lot worse." |
Well, part of Cassia hoped that their head of house wouldn't show up. Maybe she'd be busy and wouldn't have time for this. She after all was the healer. But nope. Here she was, telling them to enter her office. Hogwarts couldn't choose a worse time to not have injuries. The blond stood and followed behind Theo glancing back at West who joined them. The captain seemed to be all relaxed, she wanted to be like that, too. Because what a worse thing that could happen, yea? Actually, she didn't want to think about that. Into the office she went and stood on the opposite side of the door from Theo. Ahem. She debated crossing her arms but then decided against it and left them limb on both her sides. She might need them for demonstration or dramatic effect if she was to explain something. |
Patronus First :P As if the Healer had enough Intrusions into her Office for one day, she wouldn't mind one more. A Silvery-Blue Wildebeest came flowing through to her Office and stopped short of her desk. The Patronus stomped one of it's hooves before the voice of The Groundskeeper came from it. "I willl be delivering Blondo...errrr...Professor Flamsteed down to you shortly. No need to head up to the Astronomy Tower... Meet in the Waiting room." The Patronu-Beest stomped it's hoof once again rather suddenly, probably to see it could scare the Healer, then vanished. |
Text Cut: Oichi Gwen glared at the older girl. She had thought she liked Oichi, but couldn't she see that this was an EMERGENCY? "Well, I'm American," she sniped. "I'm supposed to be rude." Because wasn't that was most people on this side of the pond thought of Americans? They sure acted like it. Text Cut: Adrienne Gwen stared, wide eyed at Adrienne. Worse? He hadn't been able to move! How could things get worse? Though she was glad that Adrienne took her side with Oichi. Text Cut: Patronus And there was a ghosty-thingy telling them that they didn't need to bring the healer to the Astronomy tower. Gwen sighed and turned to the healer. "I'm really sorry for barging into your office. It won't happen again ma'am." There. Niceties. Because now the situation was under control, and she had time to be polite. Speaking of which, she should probably get out of the healers private space now. One last sheepish wave and she scooted out the door. |
It might be a little off now, but I'll edit it later. . Quote:

"American? No, I don't think Americans are rude, nationality has nothing to do with this." But before she could continue to try to explain something to this little girl it seemed the situation was completely resolved and she was saying a sheepish sorry before running out the door. Ah, perhaps Gwen did learn a little something, good. But, oh great now I have to the same because regardless of intention I barged in here too. "I'm sorry too Miss Tillstorm, please take excellent care of Mr Flamsteed", Oichi said as she headed out the door motioning for the last girl to barge in to come along as well. |
Was... just waiting for all that drama to be done with since different TL and all West wasn't all that nervous, mostly because he was annoyed at things and was utterly confident that he'd not done anything wrong, or shirked his duties in any way. With Theo having entered and stood on one side of the door and Cassia at the other, West walked in with plenty of swagger, almost giving the impression that they were his 'heavies' and he had in fact arranged for the pair of them to enter first and flank the doorway. Ludicrous though. That wasn't the case of course, not heavies, but best friends, and it was simply that West's confidence brought him to stand in front of Tillstorm's desk instead of slinking around the edges of the room. He didn't sit, rather waiting for her to tell him to, but neither did he hover. He simply stood by the center chair, gave Tillstorm a quietly respectful look, and then turned to glance at Theo and Cassia, giving them each an encouraging nod as if to say yes its safe, come over here now. Sooner they did, the sooner they could all sit and get this whole thing over with. |
2 different timelines SPOILER!!: Rhodes Blowing fire on students was part of an assignment? What kind of crazy professor had taken over once Hecate left? Sure, everyone knew the obsession her friend had with setting others on fire, but she never taught the students how to do it. That was just insane. And really? Did Rhodes really find this situation funny? Was she really that stupid that she would laugh about this in front of her Head of House, who also happens to be the older cousin of the boy she was talking about. "I wouldn't be laughing if I were you Miss Merivel. Lesson or not, I do not approve of setting others on fire." Or in this case, blowing fire at others. "Joke about something like this again young lady and you just might find yourself in detention." Cece was so going to have to have a talk with this new professor. "Now tell me, other than trying to set my family members on fire, how are you getting along here?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SPOILER!!: Theo, Cassia and West Once the three students had entered the office, Cece shut the door. "Go ahead and have a seat," she said as she herself sat down behind her desk. " She didn't care what order they sat in or who sat next to who, just as long as they all sat. Not wanting to waste any time she got straight to the point of this meeting. "So which one of you wants to start by telling me why I told you to meet me here today?" That's right, no small talk. Straight to business. OOC: Will respond to the rest of you later tonight. |

Was Healer Tillstorm serious!? She was going to throw her in detention just because she thought the assignment that Professor Culloden assigned them was FUNNY!? What kind of sense did that make!? Sure, okay. So, perhaps she shouldn't have laughed about it in front of the woman, but threatening her with detention was just a bit extreme, wasn't it? Was she going to throw the Potions Professor in detention with her, too? Or would Romulus be joining her? Because, if she remembered correctly, and she did remember correctly, the whole time the fire was being blown on him, he was laughing about it. Eeesh. And here she thought Healer Tillstorm was fair about things. Apparently not. Rhodes slumped down in her seat a little further, and knowing better than to say anything back to the Healer about just how unfair she was, nodded her head in understanding. No more laughing about the potions assignment then. At least, not in front of her. As for how she has been getting along.. was that some sort of trick question? Was there a right and wrong way to answer that? Did she do something wrong that she didn't know she had done wrong!? "Erm.. fine? I've been getting along just fine?" MAYBE!? |
Will post for Destiny later tonight SPOILER!!: All You Crazies Who Don't Know How To KNOCK! Healer Tillstorm was enjoying a nice quiet break in her office when it was RUDELY interrupted by someone BARGING into her office. Setting her cup of tea down she looked up at the girl who was standing in her office (Gwen). "Excuse me young lady. I don't know where you come from, but around here we KNOCK on a door before BARGING in without permission!" Did Cece care that this girl said Flamsteed was hurt? Not really. Because knowing that man, this was probably some sort of act he was putting on to see if his students were paying attention. "I suggest you turn around and..." But before Cece could even finish her sentence, yet another student (Oichi) was coming into her office, WITHOUT KNOCKING! Well at least this one was apologizing, and telling the RUDE one off. Maybe there was hope for those lions after all. And then ANOTHER student (Adrienne) comes barging in running her mouth and acting a fool. Okay, this was more than Cece cared to tolerate in her own office. "ENOUGH!" She shouted. "Emergency or not, you will NOT come barging into my office like this!" Had these students not learned yet that Cecelia Tillstorm does NOT tolerate behavior such as this? "I suggest all three of you leave my office now and figure out how to enter it properly." Meaning they better learn how to KNOCK and wait to be asked to enter. But just then... SPOILER!!: The Patronus So, Flamsteed had gone and gotten himself hurt. The fool probably fell off one of the desks he had been jumping on. SPOILER!!: You NON Knocking Students Glaring at the girls as she stood up. "I suggest ALL of you go to your common rooms NOW!" Before she decided to give them detention to teach them how to act in an emergency. "As you can see from Mr. Kirby's patronus, there was no need for you to come barging into my office. The adults have everything under control." Cece followed the girls out of the office then turned and LOCKED her door before heading over to the infirmary to see just what Flamsteed had done to himself. |
Okay, the scolding that they got halfway through the door. Gwen knew better than to respond to it, and she would certainly be taking crazy-lady's advice and heading up to the common room, but really? "The adults have it all under control"? They certainly hadn't when he had gotten hurt. And whatever that magical talking thingy was, Gwen couldn't have known they would send one. The only reason Gwen had barged in was because the adults certainly DID NOT have it under control. The only adult in the room hadn't been able to move for goodness sake! She did not like this healer-lady one bit. She would have to be very careful not to get injured, because no way did she want this lady healing her. Gwen shot her a disbelieving glance, and hurried out and up toward her common room. |
Quote:
'Cause it certainly wouldn't be him. "Umm..." He said very quietly. |
Sorry this is late. Sit? Yeah, might be a good idea in case it took time, which Cassia hoped wouldn't be the case. She nodded and slid into a chair near Theo's. She wondered if West was going to sit or stay by the desk, it probably was him walking in casually that made her feel at ease more. Theo didn't seem to be that nervous either, so why should she, right. Oh, questions. The snake waited to see if her fellow prefect would answer, because the both of them or the three even, talking at the same time would be a bit chaotic. She met Theo's gaze then decided to answer. "Because of the fight at the party," That was the correct answer, wasn't it? |
