It was in the afternoon, after all the classes were done and the student went back to their dormitories, got a small nap and quick snack that Botros walked down from his office to the Grounds where Gobstones was meant to start. His hair was still on, his health had improved significantly, though he showed no further young signs. Thankfully, he still looked as though he was in his late forties. Getting any younger than that would be just embarrassing.

With everything set up, he welcomed the students walking from both Houses as well as the crowd sitting behind him. "Welcome to the before last match of this season of Gobstones. I hope you all had your naps and energy and ready to roll." Hehe, see what he did there?

Aditya Rehman stepped up from Hufflepuff, and Bart Maroon stepped up from Gryffindor. Both boys, albeit looking way older, exchanged a look before they released the shooters of their respective houses' marbles. The stones shot across the board, the red stone immediately strayed off the path while the yellow one went right at the Jack Stone.

"First point goes to Hufflepuff."

Aditya Rehman stayed for Hufflepuff while Benjamin Atreyu came up for Gryffindor. The boys held on to the shooters then let it go. The red and yellow marbles shot across the board, both had the same speed, the red stone rolled on to the second circle before the Jack Stone where it lost momentum and stopped while the yellow stone continued on until it touched the goal.

"Two points for Hufflepuff!"

Benjamin Atreyu and Sander Strand, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff respectively, released the shooters for their houses. The red and yellow stones ran across the wooden board, dangerously close together until the yellow one strayed a little away allowing the red stone to touch the Jack Stone. Foul gob was released from the losing marble.

"Three points to Gryffindor!"

Benjamin Atreyu and Sander Strand, stayed for Gryffindor and Hufflepuff respectively. The boys took a deep breath and released the shooters for their houses a little too excitedly. The red and yellow stones ran across the wooden board, dangerously close together and almost bumping. But the yellow marble had a better direction and took the closer place to the Jack Stone.

"One point to Hufflepuff!"

Atreyu and Strand stayed for the next turn in today's game. When they set the stones running across the board, the yellow stone seemed to gain some speed over the red one. They kept at it for a few seconds before the Hufflepuff's one started to slow down and backtrack, the Gryffindor's one carried on until it reached the Jack Stone.

"Two points to Gryffindor."

Atreyu stayed for the next turn in today's game while Head Boy Alec Summers took the shooter from Strand. When both boys set the stones running across the board, the yellow stone seemed to gain some speed over the red one. They kept at it for a few seconds; the Hufflepuff's marble keeping its advanced position on the Gryffindor one until the former touched the Jack Stone and the latter released the foul gob at the players.

"Three points to Hufflepuff."

Atreyu and Summers stay for Gryffindor and Hufflepuff respectively. The boys release the gobstones onto the board and the yellow and red marbles race toward the Jack Stone. The red stone almost immediately strayed away from the path while the yellow one continued on toward the goal.

"Three points go to Hufflepuff!"

Summers and the Gryffindor player nodded to each other when they released the stones onto the board at the same time. The yellow stone surpassed the red one almost instnatly, and soon it was taking the closer position to the Jack Stone.

"Two points to Hufflepuff!"

Strand and Atreyu were facing each other yet again in this game. The Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, respectively, released the shooters; the stones rolled out onto the game's board at the same speed first then the yellow one gained some on the red marble and touched the Jack Stone.

"Three points to Hufflepuff!"

Strand and Atreyu faced each other again, released the shooters and let the stones of their houses' teams roll out on the board. Both stones raced towards the Jack Stone, few bumps and minutes later the yellow marble pushed the red one out of the way and stopped at the goal.

"One point for Hufflepuff."

For this turn, Rehman stepped up from Hufflepuff against a player from Gryffindor. Both players exchanged a polite nod before released the stones onto the board. The red stone barely had any speed to it, allowing the yellow one to reach the goal easily and within a short time.

"Two points to Hufflepuff.

Summers and Greenwell were up for Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, the seventh and sixth year held their gazes for a moment before releasing the stones onto the board. The red stone kept up with the yellow one almost all the way until it stopped and lost momentum seconds before the yellow stone touched the Jack Stone.

"Hufflepuff gets three points!"

Summers stayed for Hufflepuff and Atreyu for Gryffindor stepped next to the shooter getting ready. The stones were released and the sound of the marbles on the wooden board was the only disturbance in the silent gathering. The yellow stone rolled faster than the red one, reaching the goal first.

"A point to Hufflpeuff!"

Summers and the Gryffindor player held on to the shooters, waited for the professor's signal then released them. The stones rolled out on the board with significant speed, the red stone slowly stopping few lines away from the Jack Spot while the Hufflepuff one didn't stop until it hit the goal.

"Two points to Hufflepuff!"

Strand took Summers place in the next turn. He, with the Gryffindor player Atreyu, pulled the shooters and released them together. The yellow and red stones rolled on and on until the yellow beat the red marble to the Jack Stone.

"Three points to Hufflepuff!"

Strand stayed for Hufflepuff team and the Gryffindor team got one of the best players out for them, too. The stones were released and it took them a moment to take the right path, although the red stone stopped way before the Jack Stone allowing the yellow one to win this turn.

"A point goes to Hufflepuff."
