Girls Dormitories graphics by sweetpinkpixie After a long hard day of hunting, and lessons, or even just a busy weekend, your dormitories will be your haven. It will be more than just your home away from home, and it is the place where you can come and relax after a long day or a late night. |
Silver's eyes widened as she entered the girl's dorm, it was exactly how her mind had described it. Wow. She mouthed. Now it was time to pick a bed, it seemed like there was no one here yet. First come first serve! "Perfect!" Her smile got even bigger upon finding the bed of her liking. Before getting some rest she was going to organize all of her stuff. |
Sixth year dorm now. She was getting close to the end of the dorms and it was both weird and exciting. It was weird to think that she'd been at Hogwarts for this long already, but it was also nice to be so close to being done. She was sorta ready to graduate by now. Hogwarts was great and all, but she didn't want to be stuck in it forever. But Penelope was getting a little bit ahead of herself. She still had this year and the next, and she would make sure she enjoyed them while they lasted too. So she entered the sixth year girl's dorm and flopped down on her bed where her cat was laying. "Hey Spot," she said, grinning a little when the cat started purring quietly as she ran a hand over her back. |

"Penelope, right?" Tessa said, placing her stuff down at a bed that was right next to a window. Hearing a tap on the glass, she grinned and opened up the window, letting her in her pet raven. He landed on her arm and she stroked his head before putting him on the stand she had pulled out for her. "Did you enjoy the feast?" Tessa asked Penelope as she began to unpack her things. |

Moving into a sitting position, she picked up Spot to set her in her lap before noticing the bird the girl had. Her cat seemed to notice it too and eyed it curiously. She glanced down at Spot for a moment before turning her attention back to the other girl. "Mhm, I did. Food was good like always." And that was always enjoyable. "Did you?" |

She continued her unpacking, but noticed the look that cat was giving Huginn, her raven, a look. "I would advise against it," she told the cat. "He's quite crafty." She had seen her raven taunting a few other cats, and the bird had merely flown out of reach while continuing to taunt. He was a trouble-maker- but that was why she liked him so much. "It was quite an amazing feast! And the way the food just appeared," she shook her head with a soft laugh. "Quite amazing. Is every feast that fantastic?" she asked, looking over at Penelope. |
In time Oichi made it to her dormitory. She felt physically and mentally exhausted and it was not even close to night fall. What did it matter, she was excused from class and her only other choice was the hospital wing. Hmm, wait in a long line of sick and hurt students to get a pep up potion or take a nap. The nap sounds good. Oichi got into her bed and put on her battery powered alarm clock so she would make it to her next class on time. She then pulled the covers over her and let sleep take her over. |
Charms extra credit So, Professor Facial Ha-- Schuyler stopped herself mid-thought. REALLY? Really. It was Cat's fault that calling him Professor Facial Hair seemed more natural to her than calling him by his real name. So, Professor Fuller wanted them to practice their favorite charm for extra credit. Okay. Schuyler was up for that. Although her favorite charm wasn't exactly a very difficult one, nor a super glamorous one. It was the summoning charm. And it was her favorite because she found this very convenient. It probably also encouraged laziness, but that was beside the point. Schuyler wasn't lazy. She was just efficient. Sitting on her bed, she pulled out her wand. Next she pointed it directly at her fuzzy socks and said it: "Accio!" The pair of socks zoomed to her in the air and she promptly slipped them onto her feet. |
Syd/ Lana <3 Her hangings were closed completely all the way around her bed and it wasn't really because she needed privacy, but more because she didn't need people to distract her overly active brain. She was practicing something VERY important, something that she knew would happen in a few months time, or well sort of hoped it did, but then hoped it didn't. MWAH MWAH. She puckered her lips in the mirror. Kissing practice it was, and GOSH it was making her nervous, like why couldn't her lips just look right? MWUUU.... "No. That makes me look like a fish." She attempted again at the mirror. Maybe Donny could help her sometime, he knew how to kiss. Mhhhmm. |

"Abbi!" she squealed, her eyes widening at the sight of the older girl at the mirror. She was just the person the soon-to-be-twelve-year-old needed. She scrambled up onto her bed and leaned forward, intently watching Abbi. "What are you doing?" |
Quote:
Ooooh it was Lana. TOTALLY fine distraction then. Yep, yep. If it had been anybody else she'd probably give them some sass, but Lana. Naaaa. The girl was a sweet thing, or so Abbi thought. "Laaana. I'm practicing how to kiss, for when it happens you know?" NOT now cause she was not thirteen yet, a few more months...or more like half a year. "Do you need anything, Banana?" Lana Banana? Maybe? Yes? No? Eh...either way did the first year need something or not, that's what the point was. |

On to more pressing matters, though. Lana moved to the edge of her bed, smiling at the nickname for half a second before going serious again. "I have an important question." Dramatic pause. "Remember when you said there was a boy who was DROP DEAD GORGEOUS?" Her eyes widened for emphasis and her voice raised slightly. "Well. I found one of those. I think. It's actually very weird, I think. And, well, I guess... my question is, Abbi, what do you do when you find a boy that's drop dead gorgeous? I mean, do you tell him? 'Cause I think that might be a bit... bad." |
Quote:
"Mmmmm?" Abbi watched giving the banana her FULL attention, which was saying a lot. WHAT was it then? ...... UNEXPECTED BUT WHEEEE. DROP DEAD GORGEOUS BOYS! "One. What's his name? Two. Get a notepad, I need to show you how to have a CRUSH. YES. and Three. DON'T tell him till you are in the safe zone, ARE you in the safe zone?" Eyes were kept right on Banana but were shifted when Abbi got up scramming around for some glitterish ink quils. |
Quote:
Ooh. So they were getting right to this, hm? Lana scrambled off her bed and grabbed a notebook before returning to her perch to watch Abbi. She held her notebook, having no idea what to do with it. Okay. So. His name. "Mitchie." Did Abbi know him? Lana waited for a moment to see the other girl's reaction before continuing on with answering the questions. Except. She couldn't. "What's the safe zone?" Her eyes went wide. Was she in danger now? Danger of what? |
Quote:
Mitchie? Nope. Nope. Sounded REAL familiar though..or wait..."I think I've maybe seen him around. What year is this dude in?" Maybe more details would surface her memory some more. "The safe zone is a zone where you guys are close enough to talk about the more privatey things. I call it this, because it means he wont think you're some WEIRD person if you tell him he's DROP.DEAD. GORGEOUS. Capiche?" Yes, yes? But ..perfect she now had notepad. Abbi got to work. "STEP ONE of having a crush. ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS write your crushes name all over your parchments and paper. See like this." She took one of her glitter quils and began scribbling Lucas' name all over with pretty hearts and colours and all. "Now you try." Gigggggle snort. "And don't let anybody see unless you want them to know you have a crush." That was step one then. |
"April sixteenth," Lana said proudly. She was excited for her next birthday because since she'd be twelve, that made her a PRE-TEEN. Which was exciting. Or so she assumed it would be. It sounded exciting. Ooh. Back to Mitchie. "He's a third year. In Gryffindor, too." At this, she blushed. "That was going to be my next question. It's okay to think that someone older than you is drop dead gorgeous, right? Because I think it is. Especially if he's your friend and you know he's nice." Right? Right When Abbi started explaining the safe zone, Lana immediately scribbled down some notes in her notebook. "I'm in the safe zone," she said, still focused on her note-taking. "I told him he was my Valentine because I didn't have any other friends to give valentines to and he gave me a present." That was definitely the safe zone. She looked up at Abbi with wide eyes. "So, should I tell him?" Ohh. More notes. She watched the older girl write the name 'Lucas over and over before looking down at her own notebook. Taking one of Abbi's glitter quills, Lana started writing Mitchie repeatedly around the notes she had been taking. She even added a few hearts and swirls before closing her notebook and hugging it to her chest. Nope. No one else would see it. This was a secret. "Okay. Step two?" |
That was SOOON. GEEZ. Soon it be thirteen and then Gosh. "You better practice your moodiness before then." Cause pre teens hormones and all that. BEST excuse for tantrums and sassiness EVER. Blushy, blushy, blushy. First symptom of love sickness. NOT good. Abbi for sure be keeping her eye on this one. "Your cheeks are red, Missy." SIGN OF WEAKNESS..well in most cases, just like not when she blushed because of Lucas, nope this fairy wasn't weak."Anyways, I think I've seen him. BUT. YES. Like obviously. When you're big and marry someone one day MOST of the time they ARE older than you." Star for you, Lana, on picking the older boys. PERFEEEECTOOOOOO. "What did he give you?" DETAILS WOMAN. "....If you feel confident to? I'm always confident." Which meant Lana should be too because gurls needed to show them boys. Totally. "Learning fast." Beamy smiles. Step two. "Step two is to happily sigh whenever you think of him or see him. I always do that in front of Lucas. Like this." A happy dramatic sigh that made the impression of life being amazing followed out of Abbi's mouth. Step three then? |
Charms - Post #3 The last one hadn't been all that good either, not by her kneazle's standards anyway so she had no choice but to 'finite' the spell once again. You know, she was beginning to think Felix was just hard to please. She'd tried it another time on the stairs before giving up and heading to her dorm but even then he wasn't giving her much to work with. There was always the consideration that maybe she'd nailed it but he wanted her getting more practice, of course she would pretend that wasn't the case 'cause he knew better. She wanted SLEEP, not practice. "I'm done." She announced to her kneazle that had hopped onto her bed and already began curling up without her. "I can't try anymore, my eyes are closing and you're demotivating." But he already knew this. Smart kneazle he was. Oh but this room actually had a mirror..... ... ...... Alright. Just once more but no matter what the outcome she was going to have a nap after. Once again Lex raised her wand above her head and did the circular motion. "Senectus Reversus!" Round and around and around. Standing before the mirror, she was able to see first hand what the spell was really accomplishing. Slowly she could see the grey fading and being replaced by the blonde it once was. Sleepy!Woot!! The Prefect dragged herself toward the bed and shoved her kneazle to the side before collapsing. This nap was well deserved, it really was. |
