Welcome to Hogwarts! All guests and residents enter and leave the castle through Hogwarts' two great oak front doors. Once inside the Hall, you'll notice newly cleaned marble floors, a majestic central staircase, large, iridescent arched windows, and numerous doors and staircases leading off from the hall.
Taking the potion from this distance from the Great Hall hadn't been such a clever idea. Beverly's original plan to go in there, to the Gryffindor table and scare the grapes out of her friend Silver, failed. She wanted to surprise her. Give her a little scare, but it backfired.
The burning in her mouth, down her throat all the way to her stomach feeling warm wasn't any comfortable from the first time she'd drank this potion. It was wicked cool, but somewhat uncomfortable to her insides.
Then it hit her. The urge to cough...or to burp? Something like that, and she didn't like either, so she held her breath. Ugh. She wasn't going to make into the Great Hall. UGH.
By the time she couldn't hold it in anymore, her face was bright red and she...

Any poor person whom passed by her mostly likely got a giant cloud of fire.
Christmas was just passing a young girl who looked as though she was doing something for homework or something and she just smiled at the girl and hoped that she didn't mind being looked at

Beverly burst out in a coughing fit, each cough producing a puff of smoke and fire.
Oh. She was being stared at. Blink. Blink.
The girl looked older and friendly, what with the smile and all. But that was the least of her worries. Bev felt like coughing and it was probably because fire wanted to make an appearance and she was trying to keep it down. Merlin. How could she be so stupid and take it ahead of time?!
Well. It had to happen now or never, yeah?
Through coughing, Beverly beckoned the older girl toward her with a curl of her finger. She wasn't normally this bold, but...fire. And homework. And house points. And being first. "Okay, I know this might sound weird and all, but..." SO EMBARRASSING "could I breath fire on you?"
Paaauuusse.
"It's for homework purposes," and she NEEDED TO DO IT NOW.

SO YES?
Christmas smiled at the girl and said "Sure go ahead i do not mind at all"

That was quite...fast.
Bev nodded. If she knew it'd be this easy to find a target she'd gone on a search for this girl much earlier. More people needed to be like this and help Bev for her own gain. It was wonderful. This is probably how her dad felt when his associates agreed to do his biding.
"So...um, I'll just breathe on you here," she said, then added, "I brushed my teeth so...it's minty." Just FYI.
Composing herself and inhaling a large gulp of air, Beverly paused to watch if the Gryffindor hadn't run off. Nope. She was still there.
She let go, breathing as much fire as the potion allowed her to. It was relieving not holding it in any more, and her stomach felt less warm. When she was done Bev wiped her mouth with her robes, out of politeness.
Beverly waited for the girl's reaction. Was she mad? Surprised? Impressed?

That was good. Cool was good. Bev nodded once more and ruffled through her bag, taking out a quill and parchment. "Okay, um, the potions professor wants us to ask how it felt, so...I'm going to ask you questions."
She prepared her quill, and looked up at the Gryffindor girl. Introductions first, yeah? "What's your name, house and year? And how did the fire feel? Were you scared? Did it tickle? Did it hurt?" She said in a rushed tone as if she'd forget it if she didn't say it.

She needed answers for all of them. Please.

"Everyone I met was a fan. I guess it's a kind of universal sport," Ana said with a shrug. Because no matter where you lived Quidditch was the name of the game. It was the only real sport that Ana was actually interested in participating in. Although, she liked to think that if she was a Muggle she'd be able to go to the Winter Olympics with her ice skating skills.
"Well, it involves Cucumber sandwiches, and him being forced, unwittingly to eat them. He and I have already agreed that I'll teach him some Russian and share food with him, so I'll be the one to persuade him I suppose. It's not fully thought out though. Lux and I need to get together again to work out all the details. But act surprised when she tells you okay? I swore her to secrecy. I didn't tell her that I wouldn't tell anyone, but I think she'll like telling you about it. She was so excited to think about being involved in a prank and how good you are at them," Ana explained, showing off her Slytherin side a little as she did so.
Tessa gave an unladylike snort. "Sure, if you can call some of what they taught an education," she said with a sigh. A few of the classes had been things Tessa knew she would never need. Ettiquette, dancing... she would rather have been out on the Quidditch Pitch. Often time, she was.
"Good to know," she said with a warm smile. "I figured as much- but you never know," she added with a shrug. "What else have you been up to? Any fun schools, interesting friends, fun classes?" she asked, grinning. After all, who knew with the lives that they lived.
Tessa laughed and shook her head. "That boy won't know what hit him," she said, giggling. "Although, the whole thing without the prank sounds like fun! Any way I can sit in on your lessons?" she asked with a grin. She nodded in agreement. "Don't worry, I can be a good actor," she said with a soft laugh. "As if you didn't know!"
"So, what have you found here that has been the most interesting?" she asked, indicating Hogwarts as a whole. She definitely loved the Quidditch Pitch- but the Room of Requirement was a source of endless fun.
Christmas smiled at the girl and said "Christmas Goldman, Gryffindor, 7th Year and the fire felt fine and i wasn't scared and it tickled" Christmas didn't mind helping this girl with her potions homework
Beverly shuddered. It wasn't that she had something against Christmas the girl. The mention of the holiday...that did stuff to her because of...reasons. It was a holiday she wished was wiped off the calendar.
Turning her gaze down at the parchment, she frowned at it for allowing herself to dwell on her thoughts. Masking her emotions, though, she wrote down what Christmas told her. She sort of felt like a therapist. How she disliked them so.
Looking up, she said, "That's good. Any other feelings? If not, thank you for helping me."
Nope. There was really no question about it. Toby was a shoo-in and of that, Ava was confident. "Optimism is good," she agreed. She would be sure enough for the both of them.
"I hope you're Seeker," she supplied, in case her opinion mattered. "It's my favorite position by far. At least as far as watching is concerned. To fly THAT fast must be exhilarating."
Ava matched Toby's laugh with one of her own and beamed at him. "Friends for sure." But there was one possible problem... "How will I know when you're going to practice? I doubt we have any classes together." Her being a first year, it seemed highly unlikely.
Seeker, huh? Toby thought about it and kinda shrugged. He HAD tried out for Seeker, but more 'cause it was fun than anything else. "It'd be cool, but Alec's our Seeker. He's the Head Boy, and he's been Seeking for Hufflepuff since before I started here, I think. It's probably such an awesome position to play, but... it's his." Tobias had never really stopped tho think about his personal views of certain things belonging to certain people, and he didn't eve consider it now. In his head, that was just how things worked, even if technically nobody really had one particular position. In any case, Alec had way more experience and skill than Tobias could hope for. "He graduates in July, though, so maybe next year." Yeah. Next year Toby might no longer feel the crazy guilt he always felt when giving Seeker a go in tryouts. Maybe.
The Hufflepuff kept up his cheerful disposition and absentmindedly trailed his fingers along the cracks in one of the flagstones that made up the floor of the Entrance Hall, but then looked up at Ava again. Hmm. She raised a good point.
"You eat in the Great Hall, right?" Most students did. Toby did know a lot of Hufflepuffs who knew how to get into the kitchens, though, and also knew that a lot of them tended to eat there. But not the point. "If I get on the team, I'll find out my practice schedule and can catch you in there when I see you to let you know. But we're allowed to fly down there whenever, so if I don't get on the team, well, more free time to fly whenever, right?" Toby grinned widely. "I'm Mr. Brightside."
In case that wasn't obvious.

"Hey, Etiquette and dancing were extremely important for my life," Ana defended, mock seriously. They weren't all that important really but she had actually enjoyed dance, mainly because she was able to dance with a few of the cuter boys at school. Although she did agree that etiquette was a waste of time. She'd already had private lessons before she started school so it had been an easy class for her.
"Not any fun schools really, I only changed the once after Beauxbatons, but they had a calligraphy class at Mahoutokoro which was pretty interesting, as well as a class all about healing that I took, but other than that the last year and a bit has been pretty boring for me. What about you?" with Tessa having gone to so many more places she was sure she'd have seen some interesting things.
"Of course you can sit in on them. It'll be fun with a few people rather than just one or two of us," it also might help with them remembering what she was teaching. After all people learnt better when they had competition, right? "I'm sure you will be," Ana replied, joining in with Tessa's laughter as she thought of the times she'd gotten to witness her acting.
"I like the Treehouse. I haven't really explored indoors too much though. Generally because I'm always rushing to get to where I need to be. But I have to say the Slytherin Common Room is pretty amazing. It's got a great view of the lake."
Christmas smiled at the girl and said "Nope no other feelings and no problem i don't mind helping a fellow student"
She didn't mind helping a fellow student? What about house rivalry? The want to stomp on the other houses and earn ALL THE POINTS. TO PUMMEL THEM TO THE GROUND AND...
Ahem.
Right. There were those selfless kind, and Christmas seemed to be one of those people. Beverly tried to think of a motive of why the Gryffindor girl helped her, besides the nature she gave off, but after not coming up with anything concrete, she nodded.
"That's...nice of you." Was so. "I'm Beverly Wayne, by the way. Third year Slytherin." A bit of pride leaked into her voice and she extended her hand for Christmas to shake, all business-like. "Thanks for helping me with my homework."

Tessa laughed at Ana's response, seeing through her words. "Yes, I remember you bouncing to those classes, the image of excitement," she said, shaking her head with a grin. "Granted, most of the time I wasn't there to see your excitement," she added. She had ducked out of those classes as much as she could.
"Oh calligraphy?" Tessa wasn't much of an artist, but she could imagine that it would just be fun to watch anyone participating in the class. "How did that go?" she asked, tilting her head to one side. "The German school was very strict about wand work, so I find that I pick up on spells a lot more quickly since studying with them," she explained. "And the Finnish school, well their Transfiguration program was the best. I learned so much," she said with a sigh.
"Excellent, I look forward to it," she said with a grin. "It will be nice to be familiar with another language- especially for when I'm traveling the world," she said with a wistful sigh. She laughed at Ana's statement. "Do you think I would win an award?" she teased.
"Well, if you want a tour, let me know, but I'm sure there are others who have been here longer that would be better to ask," she suggested with a warm smile. "Oh the view from Gryffindor is wonderful. We look over the forest and the lake, it's almost as nice as flying," she said with a soft laugh.
Seeker, huh? Toby thought about it and kinda shrugged. He HAD tried out for Seeker, but more 'cause it was fun than anything else. "It'd be cool, but Alec's our Seeker. "Oh," Ava said. "I guess I hadn't thought of that." That some positions were already spoken for had never crossed her mind. "I can't wait to see you play," she added. She wanted it to be clear to her new friend that she would watch him play and cheer him on, no matter what position turned out being his.
Letting out a tiny laugh, Ava nodded her head at Toby. "Of course, I do. Oh Toby, you're so smart! I forget that simplest things sometimes." She had to shrug off her dimwittedness and chalk it up to being new.
"I can't wait to go!" she exclaimed. She wanted to write to Jake right away and tell him the good news. She was going to learn to play QUIDDITCH! Maybe he'd even agree to play with her over the holidays. "Thank you a real lot, Toby. I'm so glad that I met you."

Toby was just grinning, 'cause Ava said she couldn't wait. Couldn't wait to see him play. That was awesome, wasn't it? He didn't say anything like 'I can't wait to see you in the stands' because Tobias knew full well how difficult it was to trying a see people in the crowd while you were playing. "I can't wait for you to see a Hogwarts game," was what he did say, however, eyes going all shiny. "Hogwarts games a such a good atmosphere."
Tobias had stopped even trying to tone down his beaming, 'cause he had a new friend, and new friends made him happy, and being happy meant he smiled his widest.
"I'm glad I met you too, Ava!" he responded, trying hard to refrain from bouncing, but knowing full well that he'd probably failed at that. "I really love making friends, and you seem like a super brilliant one."

He'd completely lost track of time while in the Great Hall eating his second breakfast, and now he was going to be late for Mo's bloody yoga lessons. This happened last year when he thought Mo's yoga was laughable. It turned out that the consequences to missing one or being late to one weren't so funny, though. He wasn't looking forward to whatever sort of 'punishment' his Captain could think up today.
The sixteen-year-old raced out of the Great Hall and planted his right foot to make a quick 90-degree pivot towards the ground. However, it seemed he placed his foot on just the wrong spot - a puddle from tracked in snow, most likely - for his legs slipped out from under him and he fell on the cold floor, chin and elbow smacking into the stone, and teeth drawing additional blood from his tongue.
No matter, though, Aidan just pushed up and continued his dash towards the front doors with a limp in his run.

Strolling, strolling through the castle. That's exactly what Tag was doing. An no, this time he was not lost. As well, he knew exactly where he was. Right by the Great Hall. Excellent. He was going to get himself some food. But, he took quite the time with his steps. There was no rush. He wasn't going to eat a troll or anything, and he wasn't entirely starving. Just a small craving. See what he could find.
Nearly there until he saw someone running at a slow limp around the corridor. The kid looked familiar but not too familiar to Tag. But definitely familiar to some extent. "Running on a limp isn't going to help anyone. Especially for you." obvious Tag said. The blonde walked out to the middle of the corridor and took a better look. "Might need a healer. Crutches if its that bad too." Mhm. Just trying to be helpful here.

Woah, woah, woah. Aidan stumbled a bit when he realized someone was talking to him and slowed to respond. He couldn't stop, though. No, he was too late to stop for proper conversation. Instead, the boy turned around and began jogging backwards. "No Healer." NO. He did not have time for that. "It's no big deal. Stretch it out in practice. I'm fine." Yup.
Aidan bro!nodded at the boy as he made to turn back around and continue on his way.

Tag watched him. He had to give the boy some props you know? Clearly injured and still jogging around. That was a trooper right there. "Does everyone have something against the healer? I feel like no one likes her." That was more of a thought to Tag, but he'd been noticing it, or at least he thought. That or he was making up his comment. "Stretching out a limp in practice will only hurt it more. But if that's what you want, go right ahead and be my guest." It wasn't Tag who was injured, so it didn't matter to him much.
"Let me fix your leg." No. Whoever you are... don't let Tag try to fix you, especially when it came to magic. "Since you're not willing to see the healer, that is."

"No," Aidan replied slowly, "I just don't need her. I'm fine." As he already said. Also, he was getting later by the second, thank you. The boy shook his head, "It's not hurt." It was fine, okay? He was fine...
His eyes widened. "Not bloody likely." One, Aidan didn't really know or trust Tag. Two, "You don't even know what's wrong with it!" What exactly was the Gryffindor planning to fix? Nothing was wrong with it. It was fine. It just bent wrong in his fall or something.

Ok. So he sort of answered Tag's question but didn't at the same time. No matter. It wasn't important or anything. If everyone at the castle didn't like the healer or not. Tag was hoping for no serious injuries this quidditch term. Even he hadn't wanted to go see the healer, and he didn't even have any opinion on her. "All right mate. Its definitely not hurt." Sarcasm it was in his voice.
Ouch. Tag didn't take it to heart though. His downright rejection. The blonde wasn't the greatest when it came to magic. It took him at least two tries to get the practice of one spell right. Mhm. So, no feelings hurt here. "I know you're limping. So your ankle must be broken." Tag was no doctor, or genius, but at least he got the basic of that. "But hey, if someone mistakes you as an Inferi with that walk you got, and decides to attack you, it's all on you." Tag said giving the boy a wink.
"You look familiar to me. But I can't place your name. Who are you, again?" he was simply just going to ask it.
Cosgrach made a choking noise and went silent. He wasn't going to say anything. He wasn't going to argue. He wasn't even going to be annoyed. In fact, he was going to leave Annie to Cece (not physically but mentally) and let Cece show Annie she was perfectly healthy.
Holding her strongly as they walked so as not to leave her to dying, he glanced over at Cece.

"Fine, we won't go to the infirmary. We'll just head inside and see how far we can get you." At least if they got her inside they could recruit the help of other not old professors to get her to the infirmary if needed. "A Pepperup Potion might give you the strength to walk inside without your body aching." Or maybe she shuold go get some of that Girding Potion Kirby takes all the time. Anastassia could clearly use all the extra endurance she could get right now.
Making sure she had a tight grip on the woman, she looked over at Culloden. "Let's get her inside now." She then looked back towards Annie as she pat the woman on the hand. "Don't worry, we'll get you inside and get something figured out. I'm sure there has to be something you haven't tried yet."

Well?
Ughhhhh this was agooooooony! Anastasia was starting to feel more and more whiny the older she got. And she was aging by the minute here, people. Hello. What was PEPPERUP potion going to do? How did IT give the drinker strength? She was starting to doubt Cece's healing capabilities. Had she even finished Healer's school? Huh? Huh? Huhuhuh?
Annie let out a low moan as they climbed or dragged her, more like over the steps and into the castle. "I wish Hogwarts had a lift," she muttered as she moved her achy breaky legs forward. Just...have...to...get...to...the...office.....
