Quidditch Payment Center Before you can enter the stands, a big line of multicolored turnstiles magically materializes out of thin air to effectively block your path. You cannot go around the turnstiles and using magic on them will not have the slightest effect. If you want to attend today's quidditch match, you need to pay a flat fee of 2 galleons to get in every time you wish to come in. You insert the money in the little hole on top off one of the turnstiles. The turnstile will then unlock and will allow you to pass through and get into the pitch. |
Ethan had expected this. There had been turnstiles at the matches last term and he had expected them to continue especially after he had heard that students had to pay to use the library and greenhouses this term. But that certainly wasn't going to prevent him from seeing his girlfriend play today. He pulled two galleons from his pocket and dropped them into the slot before making his way through to the stands. |
West paid 2 galleons. Because Alice was worth it. Yep. He went on through into the stands without lingering. |
He was late. 'Cause...yeah...he didn't wanna talk about it. Ascanius was just late, but now it was time to get his rear to the game. Girlfriend was playing seeker and he never missed her play, yeah? So he just threw whatever money the turnstile needed in and headed up to the stands....slowly....and not looking down.....heights. |
She didn't forget to bring money. Nope. And at least this year they didn't have to see the turnstiles a lot. Just in a bunch of places. That was bearable. She inserted the coins then paused looking over her shoulder. Should she wait for Dora? Hmm..She slowly crossed the turnstiles and figured it'd be better if she went up and picked a spot for them to sit |
Josephina may have been running a tad late, but that was no excuse. It was her hufflepuffs out there playing today, and two galleons or 10, she wouldn't miss watching them play and supporting them for anything. Dropping two galleons into the turnstile slot, she made her way up the stands and towards the commentator seats... Because Tiara had asked if she could help out, and also it was the fastest way to find out information about the game status. |
*whistles* Those bugged Botros to no end. He shot a glare before dropping the coins and passing through, hopefully they'll get rid of those soon enough. |
Right. Still had to pay. Whatever. Dora did paid and kept on going. |
Cutty approached the turnstiles feelin' Ready for some Wot?!!! Hogwarts, you have lost your mind! Cutty moved out of the way of the turnstile. He'd have to miss this game and save for the Slytherin match. |
Dylan paid the money quickly...before proceeding up to the stands. There was no reason to stand around... |
Pretend like I posted this before my commentary posts XD Kat was today's Quidditch commentator so yeah, she needed to pay. It was a requirement and stuff because then she wouldn't be able to commentate and watch Quidditch. So she dropped two galleons in the turnstile and made her way in. |
Fern was late! Not only because she'd gotten lost inside the castle (again), but also because she'd somehow misplaced her money pouch and had been forced to dig under her bed and in her trunk and through her unicorn tote just to find two whole galleons. She had almost thought she was going to have to borrow some from Charlie, who apparently was loaded judging from all the candy he bought from Cuthbert. Thank Merlin she hadn't had to ask him, though. Paying the fee (the equivalent of a Rapunzel-Rapunzel and Fairy Lights Glitter potion!!), the 11-year-old raced for the stands. |
Charely and company was totally in here before game >_> Charely had been quite aware of the payment situation since last term. Thankfully though, the price wasn't as heavy to pay now. With Luc and Bart by his side (eyesight wise), he paid 6 galleons in for him, Luc, and Bart... Then eyeing the pitch as he thought of Wade, he placed in another set of galleons in case his son ever felt like watching his other friends play. Now making through the turnstiles, an exciting match was about to go. |
I thought I had already posted this but apparently not oops sorry >.< Yes yes yes Mr. Turnstile. You get your money. Tobias fed a bunch of gold coins into the turnstiles, enough to cover a bunch of games, and pushed through them to go and find a seat in the stands. |
She wasn't made of galleons, y'know? Ella did love Quidditch though. This is why she deposited her money and headed into the stands, eager to catch the game. She had competition to scope out and such. Priorities. |
*sings Time Warp and pretends she posted here before the other post* Paying. Again. And...TWO GALLEONS!!! If it weren't for certain people she'd met here, Olly would have left this school again long ago. This was just insane. The couple of Sickles for the Greenhouses had infuriated her already but this...this was just...did they think she didn't need her money for other things? Other things than GOING TO SCHOOL! After a few moments of just openly scowling at the turnstiles, Olly briefly considered just going back to the castle. Ugh. But she really wanted to watch too. She would have to come up with a way to get out of paying ANOTHER two galleons next time though. There had to be a way. She was going to consult some people about this. Hmm. For the time being, she didn't exactly have a choice however, so with a slightly defeated sigh, Olly moved to put two Galleons into the machine. Stupid, stupid BROKE school. |
Vivi seriously considered vaulting the turnstile, but since she valued her nose as unbroken... probably a bad idea. She'd either fall or run into a crazy magical barrier, and she just wasn't in the mood. What she was in the mood for was watching her brother captain his first game and beat Dylan's old team. Soundly. She dropped the Galleons into the slot and hurried toward the stands. |
Happy quidditch day. Anastasia was bundled up nice and cozy for this match, the second of the year and a VERY important one for her. She had been looking forward to having more female quidditch captains than male ones, but having two friends turn in mortal enemies over a silly sport was much more exciting. Teehee. She cheerfully dropped in her two galleons and pushed through the turnstiles. Once she was through, she fluffed up he fur on her hood and strutted up to find the BEST SEATS POSSIBLE for herself. Duh. |
Oh today was an off day but Medea headed down to the stands anyhow. Good Merlin, halfway through getting dressed and she realized she had no team spirit clothing on whatsoever! Save for the two stripes of green and blue paint on her cheeks. Good ol' paint. It was like tape or glue. Always fixed the problem. It didn't fix the turnstile problem though. With a few muttered choice words being said under her breath in her native tongue, the defense professor let her head hang forward as she headed BACK to the castle. Two galleons. Who would forget about these turnstiles, hmmm!? WHO? Two gold coins in hand and back at the turnstile, TWO...she counted carefully, Medea dropped them both in the machine type thing and headed through towards the stands. The match hadn't started yet, had it?! |
Two galleons. Meh, Penelope wasn't pleased with this, but it was Quidditch and it was less than the fee they had to pay last term - at least from what she remembered - so she supposed she couldn't complain too much. At least it was for something that was actually worth it. So she put in the two galleons and headed on into the stands. |
Sigh. Stupid turnstiles. But, at least they were only having to pay for things like this instead of access to their own common rooms like last year. Sky paid the required two galleons and went on through. |
Cutty was in a good mood now and he let the 2 whole galleons jingle away in his pockets as he approached the turnstile, though he'd held them steady on his way up from his common room so as not to attract anyone who might want to take them. This was going to be epic and he was expecting a lot from the match. He let the galleons drop into the turnstile receiver and walked through, bundled to breakfast. |
Dumb turnstiles. Alice grudgingly coughed up two galleons and dropped them into the turnstile. After giving it a really big kick and possibly breaking her foot again. |
No. Why were these here? Stupid things just keep taking little money that Nashville has left. Nashville still thought that this was stupid, he also had thought that Hogwarts had the money thing under control but he thought wrong. Nashville dropped the two galleons in the turnstile and walked right into the Quidditch game. |
grrrr Mack really hated having to pay for Quidditch matches but she loved the game, she was dressed to the nines in a fitted red dress with gold accents. Even though it wasn't Gryffindor playing.. She was going to in Gryffindor colors. Depositing the two galleons that were required she made her way into the stadium excited for the match. |
