Madame Puddifoot's is a quiet tea shop where you can meet up with your friends.
The tea shop is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a small container with a tea light candle, ready to be lit for those on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade's High Street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
Sapphira Puddifoot keeps the shop this way because she has to. But she has no desire to look upon all the fancy decorations herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day.

Taylor smiled and giggled, "Fine fine..." Tay kissed his nose then stuck her tongue out, crossing her eyes. "Aww... poor Auntie..." She frowned and then sighed, "Great... Puck is in Ireland... probably drinking and goofing off... he is probably going to be a couch potato tomorrow with an awful hangover... How long is he staying in Ireland?" She tilted her head and looked at him, frowning. Taylor laid her head on his shoulder again and played with her own curls. "At least he will have fun, no?" She tried to at least find some good in what Damon said but she didn't like Puck to start out with and cant imagine him amongst his old friends... Tay rolled her eyes at the thought of it though.
Damon smiled back and gave a fake smug look, "I always win." He chuckled and shrugged, "Karls and I have been helping her as much as we can, she's just really tired all the time... I feel kinda bad for her... All those kids and still holding a full time job, and having a husband who acts like a child most the time..." He sighed but nodded, "Yeah, well drinking is kinda part of a bachelors party... He's staying there for the wedding so... about a week I think." He nodded to her question, "He and Chelle both deserve a vacation though, basically everyone's been saying they'll watch the kids so they can go but they won't listen to us. So now we're telling Chelle with Dad gone she should just let the five kids come stay with us and go to Ireland to surprise him for the wedding. I hope she'll take us up on it." He gave a small smile.
Lawson finally decided on a place and entered the quite little tea shop. It seemed like a place he could torture himself at and finally write the letter he was avoiding.

Um no. Not sure why Kalla escaped to this place, but she had ended up in the disgustingly pink place with the couples and the tea and the BLAH.
But here she was, nose in a book as soon as she passed through the doors. WHATEVER. Garrick didn't show up in Hogsmeade like he had PROMISED her and she didn't know where Alice was... and so yeah.
She slid into a seat at a corner table and THEN glanced up... at a boy. Sitting there. Writing. "What are you doing at my table?" Nevermind the fact that he was CLEARLY there first.
"I am pretty sure when I sat down you weren't here," he replied, giving the girl a funny look.
He shrugged, "You can sit here, I don't mind"
And he really didn't. She can read and he could write. Fair deal?

Kalla stared at the boy for a long moment before speaking. "How do you know I wasn't sitting here already? Did you SEE me sit down? I could have been here all along just invisible."
REALLY.
She could have been and he would NEVER know. Ravenclaws were tricky like that. And he wasn't a RAvenclaw because she had not seen him in her common room.
Now. She looked him over once more, had some thoughts on his hair, and averted her eyes to her book, though not actually reading.
Lawson contemplated and pretty quickly decided that this was the reason he would avoid writing that letter.
"I am sure I would have noticed a floating book but okay," he said, not looking away from her like she had once she was done looking at him.
"I am Lawson, by the way. And you are?"

At least one of them had gone out and took a look around. He nodded at her words, "Eet looked small," But he hadn't estimated that it only be one street. "I might take a look later," He was planning on strolling around and here he was starting with one shop. "Eet iz also cold," Which was another reason he had preferred staying indoors.
Hearing her words, one side of his mouth rose in a one-sided grin mirroring her mischievous one. "Really? Zat iz interesting," He winked at her. In case he hadn't known about that beforehand, he had figured it out upon sitting here. Probably Léa knew him well enough to reach the conclusion that he had full knowledge of that fact.
His lopsided smile still on his face, Sébastien's eyes spotted the menu on the table and reached for it peering at it. "'ow about we try zier food?" He suggested placing the menu between the two of them. "We will 'ave to get used to eet." Hopefully it was good.
Léa made a face. "Eet iz!" Cold, that was. So he shouldn't really freeze while taking a walk around, but she didn't say anything. She'd warned him, and that was all she would say.
Ugh, winking. She didn't roll her eyes, but it was obvious she wanted to. She kept silent again, though. She didn't want to be rude. Instead, she said "There are very few people around." Where was everyone? Wasn't this their weekend? Why didn't they visit the town? Was it too boring for them too? Should she take it as a message that it wasn't really worth it?
Food, sure. She took a look at the menu as she said "Oui, we try." She skimmed it, but nothing sounded nice. She looked indecisively at him.
Kalla ran her fingers across the page of her book and listened to the boy. "You're not particularly observant I would say." Just a thought. Ya know. Had he observed that she was blushing slightly? Likely not because her face was turned away from him. Very purposefully. Mhm.
Once she was sure the blushing had stopped she looked up and let her eyes roam over his face once more. "Kalla. Kalla Ogden. Not sure whether it's nice to meet you yet or not, but you don't seem to be terrible company. Who are you writing to?"

Tay gave him a look and faked smacked his chest. She giggled and smiled at him. Taylor frowned a little, "Puck doesn't have a full time... why isn't he doing more?" Tay glared at that, "He should take responsibility..." She gave him a weird look, "Why didn't Puck invite Chelle to go the wedding? Isnt it a custom to bring your wife when you go to a wedding?" Taylor started to cross her arms, "She should take it up... something might be up with Puck..." A scowl came to her face.
Lawson felt it was rather odd that she wasn't looking up at him. But then she spoke and he wondered how to handle this situation. Though, he had originally planned to keep it low and just get through this term - his need of distraction was making him go off track.
"I guess I am not," he agreed.
Oh. She was now loooking at him.
Lawson couldn't help but grin at her introduction. She was an odd one, wasn't she? Or was he reading too much into this? "Kalla." Wow. He really did keep meeting girls with the strangest names. He was tempted to, and so he asked: "What does that mean?"
"Oh. Ah .. I am trying to write to my cousin," he said, honestly. No need to lie - unless she asked about the subject of the letter. "What are you reading?"

He shook his head then shrugged again, "Well, its not customary for her to go on the bachelors night out so she said she wouldn't go since she doesn't really have anything to do while he's out." He shook his head though, "Come on, my Dad loves Chelle, he has more self respect than to do something to hurt her."

And wow... what did his question mean? Tilting her head she smiled at him while furrowing her brow slightly. "Well I am seeing you right now seeing as you're sitting here talking to me. What do you mean?"

They knew it'd be colder here and so they made sure to bring clothes that were suitable for this kind of climate. Still it was different and it'd probably take time till they got used to it. Good to know it wasn't only him.
"I 'ave noticed." He agreed with. "Maybe we came early or late." He suggested shrugging one of his shoulder. Eventually they were going to meet with the Hogwartians, considering they were going to stay in their castle. He was curious about all of this.
He squinted down at the menu pausing at each type of food. Some probably sounded familiar or not too weird while others earned a raised eyebrow.
He decided to try something new but not too risky. "Lets try ze rice pudding," He suggested while trying to pronounce the r like English people did. Did he do it right?
He looked around looking for someone who worked here. Did they have to go up to a counter and order or something. In the meanwhile Léa could decide if she wanted to try the rice pudding or something else.

"Hey Indy," He opened his arms out before giving her a nice squeeze. Wade gave hugs to everyone, but Indy got squeezes. "Missed you.." It was an exclusive thing with her being his girlfriend. He gave Indy a nice low and sweet kiss, before briefly letting go to hold her chair out for her to sit. "I got us some hot chocolate and croissants." He said, just so she knew he wasn't attempting to surprise her again with pickles.
Taylor rolled her eyes, "Sure... he gets paid..." She doubt it was much anyways. Tay looked at him, "So... can you honestly tell me that he would not have any girl with him...? Either of them with you?" Damon hugged her back and smiled "I've missed you too, and of course I know it... Who couldn't miss me?" He gave another smirk, he was trying to keep it fun, he hated feeling like he was boring his cousin.

West had even reserved a table and all for this date thing. He arrived a little bit early since he had plans to meet Alice here, and went to the reserved table, right in the window. He had a little gift for her even, nothing too extreme but...well just a thing.
And honest he was kind of nervous? There was a lot riding on this, for him anyways, maybe it wasn't so big of a deal for Alice but West felt like it was the decider. It had to be, because it was all just exhausting and he didn't want to be strung out and sad anymore, and he properly needed an Alice to try.
Would she be on time? West had no clue so he just settled back in his seat and stretched his legs out.

His eyes followed her gaze and he gave a small nod towards Taylor and Damon, then glanced at a few other unfamiliar faces before turning back to Min, giving her a grin. "That's exactly what I think too. Being with you is most important." He placed the two wrapped gifts in front of her. "I thought since it will be your birthday in a couple days that we could celebrate. Maybe we could order cake too," he grinned. He felt bad that he wouldn't see her on her actual birthday, but this was almost as good.
He was still smiling as she continued about Herbology class, not sure he could be more pleased. Could she really be able to be around plants again with no issue? He really hoped so as he'd want her to come visit him in his greenhouse when he was working in it or to just see what he was working on. "I still think it sounds great, Min. That's amazing progress." Even with the flesh eater thing.. after all she had witnessed, it couldn't be too surprising. Besides, they were scary to a lot of people who hadn't witnessed certain things. Yes, she was doing well with the dancing, plants.. and mist? Ethan gave her a slightly curious look. "Why would she have mist in the class? What.. was the lesson about?" That just struck him as weird. After last term he wouldn't think she'd want to bring back memories but maybe there was good reason. "I'm so glad Mungos helped you," he said, turning his smiling gaze back on her. And he could tell how much it did, that really meant so much to him. And maybe flowers would be okay next time. He chuckled, "Flowers are no trouble.. but even if they were, you are worth it." They were the gentlemanly thing to do, of course she should get flowers as long as she was comfortable with them again. He frowned a bit as the talk turned to turnstiles, nodding. "Yes, they probably will.." If they were there for the greenhouse and library, he was sure they would still be there at Quidditch. "Won't stop me from going though," he added with a grin. Her match was coming up soon.
Ethan smiled, seeing that Min seemed to be genuinely interested in his classes. And he was enjoying them for the most part so he enjoyed sharing them with her. "I don't think you'd have a problem.. but if you'd want to try it maybe we could do it together." She was better at Charms anyway and maybe she could ensure they did the heating charm just right.. or wait till it was warmer. He listened as she explained about viruses and how likely it was or wasn't for him to be sick from that experience and he smiled lightly, thinking how cute she was talking about her Healer stuff. She would make such a good Healer but he already knew that from her taking care of him when he was injured. "I'd like your help, sure.. and no, I don't want to be that sick again." That had been the worst he had been sick in a long time and he hated every minute of it. "I'll try to only be sick when you're with me," he said with a wink though he was only joking. He didn't want to be sick but if he had to be, he'd rather be sick when she could take care of him.
Grinning at the thought of having her cooking again over break, Ethan nodded. He'd definitely bring that book especially if it meant she would cook more for him, he loved her cooking. His smile faltered a bit and he tilted his head as he looked at her curiously. "What do you mean?" Keeping him from.. ? "No.. of course not. And I wouldn't say new adventures," he chuckled. "The classes are just more in-depth so they sound different and interesting. I can't wait till you're there with me though.." His smile grew and he nodded at her question. "Yeah.. I know where we could go to practice. I think it will make us both more confident about it if we can at least practice a little together." At least it would be helpful for him.. he was sure he wasn't practicing as much as she was.
Minerva couldn’t help but chuckle, why on earth would she mind if he shaved off his beard. “Ethan why would I mind at all? I love your face no matter whether it has the facial hair or not. “ Nothing to her was cuter than his face. “If you feel better with it gone then shave it, honestly honey it’s totally up to you. “ She wouldn’t think he would just keep something because she liked it, but it was sweet all the same. “Plus you will be the hottest guy on that dance floor no matter what.” She couldn’t wait to see him all dressed up again. There was something about him in a suit that she just really liked.
Min smiled at his words. She couldn’t help but just have all the warm fuzzy happy feelings when she was around him. Her blue eyes glanced at the presents, “Ethan Malachi McCarthy” She eyed him with a small grin. She wasn’t upset or anything, it was very sweet actually, but she had asked him not to get her anything else after the broom before term had started. “You got me a broom. That was plenty. You should not waste your money on me.” She looked at the gifts not to be rude she did pick the first one up and open it. Her smile grew as she saw the bracelet. “Ethan it’s so pretty.” He really didn’t need to get her anything, but she put it on her wrist. It fit perfect, “I love it.” but there wasn’t a gift she didn’t like that he had given her. Opening the next one she turned it in her hands. “I love the little owls, this is great. I needed a new journal.” She had been using it for healing things and her other one was getting full. “Thank you so much, you are the best.” She leaned over giving him another soft kiss. The gifts were just amazing she still was eyeing him though at the fact that he shouldn’t have gotten them.
Her smile continued to grow with the excitement he seem to have with her healing over the plant issue. “I figured you would like that. Of course he would and she couldn’t help but enjoy the fact that she could possibly go see him work again. She always liked seeing him in his element he was just so happy when he was with his plants. “I’m glad it did as well. I feel like I have a few more things to work on, but for the most part it really has proven a good choice. Thank you for supporting me through it all.” He was her rock most days and she really did appreciate it. Her heart melted at his words, always so sweet. She couldn’t help but nod in agreement with him when he said that the stands would probably have those dumb turnstiles, but at least there they made sense. “If you look at it like a sports event it really makes sense. You usually pay to attend those, but classes and the library?” That were it bugged her most. She smiled a bit, “I’m getting nervous for the match, but I’m glad you will be there watching.” It made her relax a little knowing he would be there.
Try.. like her eat a plant to go under water and breath. Hmmm she would have to think about that for only a split second. “aaa .. yeah that would be awesome actually.” She smiled at him, of course it would be awesome. Underwater and breathing, which come to think of it they did once in class a few terms ago, but this would be better because Ethan was there. “I would love to go with you once. You can show me the plants or whatever you work with.” She would remember to work with him over break a bit with the heating charm, “No problem during break we can make some time, I bet it won’t take you long to get it down.” Of course he didn’t want sick again, no one wanted sick. She hoped that was the last of him being ill, because she felt horrible being so far away from him when he was. “Try not to get sick at all. I hate seeing you like that.” but she would surly take care of him if she was with him, he never had to worry about that.
She shook her head, “Well I just feel like you are staying in more because I’m not there and well I don’t want you to think you have to. I want you to enjoy your time at school and have all the Uni experiences. I don’t want to think I’m holding you from that.” She sighed hating feeling like she was doing that to him. Clearly there had to be more interesting people at that school than her. People that could relate more and weren’t just stuck in a castle. *sigh* “They are new adventures, all of this is. You have so much opportunity now. It’s all so interesting.” She couldn’t help but turn the frown back to a smile as her blue eyes met his green. “me too.. It will be nice to be together again at the same school and I can’t wait to start attending some classes specific for healing and the type I want to do.” That would be great to get started on all that. She tilted her head at his words about a place to practice. That was great, “Really? That would be wonderful. I think I’ll feel better once we get some practicing in.” She played with the fork on the table thinking of something as she let out a small sigh, “You know we had a routine before I ever did any competitions. Like a tradition we did, that last competition keeps running through my head lately. She wasn’t at that one. We didn’t do our routine and now.. “ She tried to shake herself back into the now and stop thinking too much into that. “I still need to figure out what I’m going to wear. It’s just so hard when I’m stuck not able to go shopping.” She wasn’t sure when she would find the time to do that.
