Gobstones Matches Payment Center

Before you can open the door to the gobstones viewing area, a big line of multicolored turnstiles magically materializes out of thin air to effectively block your path. You cannot go around the turnstiles and using magic on them will not have the slightest effect. If you want to enter the gobstones viewing area, you need to pay a flat fee of 10 sickles to get in every time you wish to come in. You insert the money in the little hole on top off one of the turnstiles. The turnstile will then unlock and will allow you to pass through and get into the gobstones viewing area.
OOC: The turnstiles will be seen by everyone regardless of year, house, or age. You must make at least one post in here before posting in the gobstones viewing area this term. If you don't, watch your back. :shifty:

AND PLEASE NOTE: You CANNOT go around, under, over, etc. the turnstiles. Not only are the little bars physically blocking your path, but they also as a whole act as an invisible force field barring you from the gobstones viewing area until you pay. Please cooperate with this portion of the plot or your posts WILL be deleted.

More turnstiles? Really? Even for Gobstones? Eliza let out a small grunt as she shelled out a galleon to cover her entrances for a while. Knowing she'd be playing as well as viewing, she thought it best to get the paying part over with - even if she was playing first and probably wouldn't need to pay to actually participate in the game. Or would she?

The fourth year strode through to the viewing area before her match started, to see how things were looking this year.

Why was Hannah here? In all of her six years she had never been to this match. Her house wasn't even playing right now, but for some odd reason she wanted to watch. She wanted to see the kind of question that would be asked and see if maybe just maybe she would take part in the match when Slytherins would be on the line.

You had to pay to watch the match? What kind of nonsense was that? You didn't have to pay to watch Quidditch... or did that change too? It was no matter really because Hannah had more money than the average person so that was so not a problem. She counted out ten sickles and inserted them in the hole. There could she go in now?

These turnstiles AGAIN?! Callie was not pleased when she arrived to go cheer on her House in the Gobstones match and found out that she would have to pay to get in. She was their Head of House for Merlin's sake.

Trying to decide if she could get past it somehow was taking too long and the match was about to start. She jammed in 10 Sickles and then rushed to find a seat.

Gobstones club, h'mm? Well, there was no harm in at least having a look to see how it was done here. It sounded dreadfully boring to Cutty, but he was feeling exploitative and looking for an opportunity. Any opportunity.

Spotting the turnstile up ahead, the small boy sneered, but in time to spot an adult witch about to go through. Quickly and quietly as he could manage, Cutty ran directly behind her hoping to tail in after her. Running start 'n all, he was unprepared for the horridly annoying sensation that wafted over him as he attempted this.

The next thing he knew, Cutty was laying across the floor and looking straight up towards the ceiling having been bounced violently back from the turnstile. A moment later, the boy had risen to his feet, shook his head to recover and hardly willingly dug the fare out of his robes and stuffed it into the turn stile passing to the other side.

That hadn't been a good idea at all.

Outrageous...

Absolutely outrageous!

Seren glared at the stupid turnstile as she fed it a bunch of her sickles, relieving the weight of her robes pocket. At this rate she would have to take a small fortune out of Gringotts to compensate for these expenses.

All she wanted to do was support her Lions!

Huffing a little, Seren passed through the turnstiles upon finishing her payment, hurrying a little so she wouldn't be too late.

The kid had learned his lesson. Well and good since he'd last tried to cheat one of these turnstile contraptions. Cutty reached into his robes pocket and pulled out the 10 sickle fee and paid it. Paid it all too gladly.
