Being a Slytherin, means that we have the will-power to reinforce change. It is the attitude that you can do anything, no matter how unlikely it seems. Being a Slytherin means to have many attributes and traits about you that will detrmine why you are placed into this house. Being a Slytherin doesn't mean following the misconceptions that others may have on your house. Not every Slytherin is hailed from evil and you don't have to prove that you are in order to be a good Slytherin. Slytherin house is all about determination and not discrimination. It doesn't matter what blood you hail from. Although pure blood many be prefered, this doesn't give Slytherins the right to discriminate. It is will power and pride that make Slytherin the house that they are. Slytherins are loyal to one another like a tight knit group and never fight for long amongst themselves. They all know how to respect especially to one another and it is only a small minority that decide to not show this respect. A cunning brain and a sly mind also determines the Slytherin students from the rest. Although maybe not as intelligent as the Ravenclaws are, Slytherins are quick minded and use these skills to progress in life. Sucess is the ultimate goal in a Slytherins life and this can only be achieved through hard and thorough work in school. Slytherins must not let stereotyping get to them. All they need is the thrill and ambition that all Slytherins posses. For Slytherins will suceed and are all destined to be the great person that we strive to be! All that we need to remember is that.... WE GOT SLYTHERIN PRIDE!! |
Being a Slytherin isn't about getting what you want, its about knowing how to get it. We are cunning people who know what we want ans how we get it. It's a shame that the other houses think we're so mean. They could learn a lot from us ;) |

To me, Slytherin means being practical, smart, successful in the things we do, as well as cunning and tricky when we need to be. We are loyal as Hufflepuffs, smart as Ravenclaws, and as daring as Gryffindors. We have self-preservation which means we know how to take care of ourselves. I would never leave a fellow Slythein behind, but with self-preservation, you know the situations that you can and cannot overcome. |

Being Slytherin, to me, is about being the best that you can be. Its about bringing the best of all the houses together and creating something unbreakable. Whilst we're cunning and sly, we're also brave, clever, and loyal complete with a sense of pride, confidence and self-preservation. |
