Aw, no pie for them.. Did Nash even get the memo? Hmm. "It's a party, man, come have a sweet.." Wade took another gummy worm. "or two.." and another. Or how many else you want." Grin from Wade. They were free to eat as much as possible tonight, even little Kace, who had perfect timing. "Thanks, little guy." Wade beamed as Kace joined them, "If you want, I can hook you up with one of these." You know, incase they had other tiger onesies.. though a little badger one would suit him and Tobias better. Matching ones. Heh, heh. "Oh hey, have some pickles everyone." Yes Wade, the time for hugging the pickles was over.

*BOP* "Ow." Wade mimicked like he was in pain, when it didn't really hurt, so he then laughed. Wade's right eyebrow then rose at the more petting he was getting from Minnie. She was reminding him of Luc now, only this time he wasn't getting a leash and demand to ride on like a horse.. okay nevermind, she already went there. "..another pet?" before Wade could think anymore on that, he saw some more others arriving. Weeelp, it was nice being coddled as Wade sneakily slipped off of Kaiden (sorry, buddy) and through Minnie's fingers. She was keeping him getting more food, after all and the special Head of LocNessieness and Alec. "Ness! Alec! Glad you can make it!" Wide grin, they were all happy together now. Now Alec needed to get by for the Hair ruffler greeting!

Oh, hello random breeze. That sure felt nice.. Ooh, maybe not so nice for the others. "Oh, this is nothing to me." Wade smiled at Oakey who was very kind to be concerned. He had been in waters close to frozen long enough to be accustomed to the sudden chill. "Have a Pickle, Oakey Pokey.. they go great with the gummies." A small wink to Ella there, this treat needed sharing.

Kace felt amazing to be by the lake with his team. After everyone was saying hello to him, he felt the cold breeze wafting in. He fastened his cloak a little tighter to keep the chill at bay. He shivered a little bit but he got used to it soon enough. Kansas winters got colder than this.

When Wade mentioned that there was more onesies available, Kace smiled with glee. "Oh really? That would be so cool if they had more! To be honest i do not know if i could pull it off more than you. But i would like one" he still chuckled at the onesie.

Kace felt the hair ruffle of Ella. He liked it and did not mind it at all. "Thanks for the hair ruffle Ella." he grinned. "How are you feeling about our upcoming match by the way?" Kace was curious how his captain was handling things. Kace was a first year and was just learning to manage schoolwork and quidditch practices. It was quite exhausting but he muddled through.

He then saw ALEC. Kace beamed and went over to him. "Hey dude! What's up." he hadn't seen him in a while and wondered what he been up to. Then he saw his other first year friend TOBIAS. Kace smiled at him and went over to greet him. "Hey Tobias. What's up how have you been? I haven't seen you around lately except in lessons and practice."

He saw NASH but he didn't seem like he was in a good mood, so he didn't wanna disturb him. But maybe he should go say hi? Why not? "Hey Nash...how have you been?"

MINNE! She had the ice cream....Kace went over to get some ice cream. He was really craving it. Once he took a bite, he felt the happiness surge through right him. He felt so giddy. He finished his first bowl at ease and then he wanted another bowl but he wanted to thank her first. "Thanks for the food and ice cream Minnie. By the way i loved the practice you, Ethan and I had. It was quite fun, we should do it again sometime."

Kace already ate dinner at the great hall, it didn't ruin his appetite. He got another scoopful and then his sugar rush kicked in. He needed to run around and do cartwheels or something. He put his bowl down and then

ZOOM........

He rushed over and did some flips and cartwheels. What his teammates didn't know was that he was quite acrobatic with this stuff.

Harvey smiled as she laughed, he hadnt had a laugh with her in a long time so this really felt good to be able to laugh with a friend again after so long! He nodded as she said that she was glad he was better, more than her he was glad. He rolled his eyes and shook his head at her saying that she didnt get any snow on her, he would have to change that soon though then they would see who needed to be dried or not! He then watched as she sat down next to him and before he even had a chance to react he saw his ice cream end up from his hand to hers and then she took a bite out of it "Hey!!! Thats mine!!!" he said to her in disbelief, he couldnt believe that she had taken his ice cream! HIS ICE CREAM!! HIS!!!!

He heard her chuckle as he smiled as she did so, he raised his eyebrows "A snow Harvey? Hmm thats something I have not heard before. So I must be unique then" he said chuckling as she said that she could check this one off her list "What else you got on this list of yours then? Is stealing other peoples lovely loving ice cream one of those things?" he asked her chuckling a little but kind of serious at the same time since it was HIS ice cream afterall! He watched her take another bite of his ice cream! His lovely ice cream! The ice creamt he loved so much! one that he had never left anywhere or even let out of his sight! was now being eaten by someone else no matter who it was! He looked up as she told him to look up and he saw the tree that she was talking about "Well that does explain how you got that much snow!" he said chuckling as he looke at it and then her as she talked about doing the same thing "Yeah I know but how was I supposed to know that you would do it again, thought you were too mature for it. But then again you DID steal MY ice cream!" he said chuckling as he moved a little bit closer even though he had a nearby stash that she didnt know about and there was no way that he was going to show her where that stash was.

Minerva than saw Nessie, “NESSIE.. I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE!!!” It was awesome that Nessie joined them. “We have ice cream.. Would you like Ice cream? Oh course you do.. everyone wants ice cream. “ Minerva bounced up and got some more bowls. Was the entire team there yet. She began counting, but got distracted and her baby blues snapped up. Did captain just say blanket forts.. BLANKET FORTS… OH MY GOODNESS BLANKET FORT TIME… She bounced and clapped, this was awesome. She pulled her wand out. “I know the sticking charm, this will be perfect!!” Of course she knew that charm, but most of them probably did. OH wait she was seeing if everyone was there, looking again nope cute little Tobias was not there yet. She would save him ice cream and a comfy blanket fort spot, because she liked awesome things like that.

Minerva crinckled her nose and said no to the pickles. Pickles and ice cream did not sound very good at all. OH no did she hurt Wade, she looked and pet his head, “I’m sorry kitty.” She then laughed as he faked being hurt. She hyperly nodded, “Yes a knew pet..’ laughing more, this was fun.. SO MUCH FUN. Hanging out with all her awesome teammates. Minerva then heard a voice and handed cute little Kace a bowl. “Oh it was fun, we should do it again. “ That’s if Ethan wanted to even talk to her anymore, if was getting awkward between them and she wasn’t sure why. Pushing as something all in her head she turned back just in time to see Kace zoooooming over to sit. “ZOOOOOMMMM KACE ZOOOM.” She kept laughing.

Minerva chuckled at his words. Yes she just took his ice cream, what was he going to do about it? It was Harvey so most likely nothing. She had been his friend for six years and she always got her way when it came to him, this would be no different. She smiled teasingly holding up the bowl. Taking another bite of it. “I don’t know, snow angels, ice skating.” The list could go on and on of fun things to do in the snow. Was there really just one thing? “I don’t steal anything, what are you talking about.. this?” showing the bowl. “I brought this with me, didn’t you see?” She chuckled and scooted a little further away.

Harvey Watson just called her immature for putting snow on him. She lost it laughing this time. She was laughing so hard she dropped the bowl to the ground. “NOOOOO not the ice cream.” She tried shoveling it off the snow, but it was too late ice cream ruined. She stared at the ice cream with a sad look on her face. Bye bye ice cream, but then she smiled and picked it up throwing it at Harvey. “ICE CREAM FIGHT” If they couldn’t eat it, at least they could play with it, right? She took off running just in case he decided to throw some of the ice cream on the ground at her. There was no way he was catching her. She giggled as she ran.

"Dude, three different spells on one object. It'll be HUGE!" But not that huge seeing as none of them were beyond fourth year level work.

Mika beamed at Alexa and just chuckled. The sky was filled with pretty colors yeah? ”Awesome – so what have you two been blowing up?” Mika asked as she stood there shivering slightly, and pulling her coat more tightly against her small, small body every few seconds.

Today was one day that she wished she was part selkie or something – you know, not the actual selkie but the mythological ones. The part-seal-people. That would be awesome, because the cold weather they were having wouldn’t affect her at all.

Nigel just smirked when she found out he added fireworks to the already awesome explosions. There were just no words to describe it. It was not the best thing ever, sarcasm, But it came close. "We can sure try." They were on a roll now and why stop.

"Definitely. I am wide awake now.Okay let see how high we can make the stack this time"

Nigel was pretty sure the stack could not get much higher. But they had to blow up something to top what they just did. To bad he used the last fo his fireworks on the last explosion. Shame. He now had nothing to add.

BOOOM. She heard that, there was a definite BOOM-sound earlier. An overly excited Ravenclaw was pulled from her hiding place – the broomcloset of the Quidditch Pitch, and had run down the grounds as fast as she could get there.

Seriously, she didn’t want to be spotted by anyone until she got there. Eying the people around her she just beamed. Alexa and Nigel, she wasn’t embarrassed to see either of those two people. So she just smiled and snuck forward.

“HEY” she bounced over toward them. “You guys setting off fireworks?” She asked beaming up at the light show showering the skies above them. “I’ve got homemade fireworks if you want to try setting them off” she beamed.

Add suddenly he got the answer from Mika. Perfect timing. "Hey Mika. Ready to blow things up?" The more the merrier. Especially when all three could blow thing up at the same time.

"Homemade fireworks. Awesome. We so have to use those. Put those on the stack over there." Nigel pointed to the high stack they were just building. "Now we have to cast the spell at the same time. With the three of us. It will be awesome"

Homemade fireworks and more people would make this more awesome. So awesome that Nigel barely even felt the cold that was covering the Lake. Please, it was colder at his house over the winter.

Nigel looked extremely excited to see her. Awesome, or weird but it was probably because of her boomtastic fireworks. ”Awesome – I have more too, kind of made a few too many batches of fireworks potion – and I’ve got some Weasley’s fireworks – just the simple stuff though” she didn’t know what colors her fireworks would go – or if they would be extra special or especially boring.

For all she knew they were a little more exciting than a sparkler but nothing compared to a wildfire Whiz-bangs. She knew, for one thing that in her bag, was a nice little Bombastic bomb and that bang bang boggart thing?

”Ooh wait , I’ve got a good Weasley’s thing…went over break, got the bombastic bomb and the Bang Bang Boggart Banger” she beamed. Seriously, she was a closet pyromaniac. And no, that did not mean she set fires in closest, despite the scorch marks that were obviously noticeable in the Ravenclaw broom closet.

That had not been her doing. Nope, and she'd deny it if asked.

Any bigger and we'll have the Headmistress out here--Hey maybe we could ask her to join. She'd know some really cool spells, wouldn't she??" And now she was almost hoping it would happen but would the woman really come out this early in all this cold?

"Do you have anymore of the colours?" She asked curiously. "We could add them with Mika's Fireworks, for extra colours and all." Just a suggestion.

Ooo and they were casting now!




"Nothing much." She answered with a shrug. "Just some old things we found around the castle and the grounds. Like I found an old wheel behind the barn, there was a desk that was missing a leg in an old classroom. A whole bunch of random stuff."

She listened, grinning wider and wider at all the things the Ravenclaw had with her. Just how much more awesome could this get???

"I wanna say we should add them all but we need to make them last. The morning's still young."

Still young and cold. Lex watched curiously as she summoned some mittens. Good thinking, though the explosions did bring their own momentary warmth these would do wonders. Thanks, now have your wand at ready." She slipped the mittens on then aimed her own wand. "We're all using Expluso, you know that spell, right? Good. On the count of three then?"

And she looked to Nigel, seeing if he was ready.

Yeah, she DID kick snow in his face. It was a SNOW FIGHT. That was part of it. Heh.

Since he seemed momentarily distracted by that, she tried to get to her feet so she could get some distance between them so she could gather more snow - but just as she was sitting up and about to stand, she was suddenly knocked back down even deeper in the snow. Merlin, he'd actually tackled her? Crazy bloke.

SNOWINHERFACE. Penelope flailed and grabbed at his arm, trying to push him away. But then an idea occurred to her, so she quickly used one hand to scoop up some snow and tried to stuff it down his sleeve. Maybe the cold would get his hand away from her face. Mwahaha.

So now they had new fireworks awesome. It seemes that had a couple more explosions to before they ran out of stuff. It always ends eventually. "Cool. Add some of your fireworks to our other stuff." Nigel pointed to the pile of stuff that they were exploding.

Now they were ready to start exploding. Just who was going to count down. It was an important duty after all. He-He duty.



Well apparently Mika gave them gloves. Nigel was comfortable as is. But did not want to refuse them. So he took them and put them in his pocket. He never did like performing spell work with stuff on his hands.

The gryffindor raised a good point. "True. We should not make it much bigger. Or else we will attract unwanted attention" Nigel thought about whether Truebridge would actually join in with them. Nope she would probably give us detention."Probably would just give us detention for no reason."

Nigel looked through his box for more colors. Cool, He had a couple left. "Yeah, Here pick one you want. Then we will add Mika's to it" Nigel handed the box over to her.

"Okay everyone ready?" Nigel looked at each of them to be sure. Never could be too careful. "ONE, TWO, THREE......."

Ascanius was STILL sputtering when he felt the snow in his mouth, but that did not mean that he wasn't going to UN-TACKLE her. Ahem, nope, that totally wasn't gonna happen for reasons of he was going to win. So deal with it Cantaloupe.

A broad smirked stretched out on his face when he saw that she was pretty mug defenceless because that meant he had won. Ah yeah, he could almost TASTE victory it was-

He spazzed and almost rolled off of her, but instead ended up flopping right on her and laying all of his weight on her. Jeez, the snow was cold! Get out!

Its been a while since he went outside the castle and he's surprise that its still cold. Wait, cold? Try Freezing. The fifth year was glad that he opted to dress warm or he might caught pneumonia. As he was walking around the lake, Messer noticed a group of familiar people. Hufflepuff. His housemates. From where he stood, he could easily spotted Ella, Alec, Nessie, Minnie and Oakey and a few new faces he didn't recognize. Maybe he should go there and said Hello, no? Beside he still owe someone, no three people a congratulation for their new badges. So with that thought, Messer made his way towards his housemates.

"Hey guys. Are you guys having a picnic in this weather?"

Hearing Oakey mention something about pickles made Alec turn his head towards the direction of... Wade brought along pickles?! The sixteen year old grinned and was about to open his mouth to ask him about pickles and possibly what shampoo Wade uses when the sound of someone else talking drifted his attention away from the pickles situation.

"MINNIE!" he called, wrapping his arms around the girl and hugging her back. It was ALWAYS good to see Minnie! Always! She was always really happy and that, in turn, made him happy too! Also, he was wearing ice cream? Confused, he looked down at his shirt and chuckled at the sight, right before Minnie cleaned it all up. "Thanks!" Except, for a minute or so there, he had the COOLEST shirt EVER! Sticky but COOL! Because, you know, ICE CREAM! "And you brought along ice cream? YEAH! What favour have you got there?" Like that was important. She had ICE CREAM!

And here came someone who was not a Kelpie! "Hey LochNessie!" he said, grinning and waving at her, "I'm awesome and we have ICE CREAM!" Which made this meeting even more awesome, if that was possible. "How are you?"

Feeling a pair of eyes on him, Alec looked over to look at a pair of particularly green eyes looking over at him. And the owner of the green eyes was now scooting over towards him, making him grin extra widely. "Hey, Ells!" he said, returning her side hug, "I... hey, do you feel cold? Do you want my coat?" And... it wasn't good that she was sitting so close to him when all he felt like doing was hugging and kissing her. There were firsties around!

CURLY WURLY WADE!

... That... was going to stay with him forever and never be said out loud, okay? Okay. "Thanks mate!" Could he call him mate? Were they mates? Important questions, these were. "And are those pickles?" Greedy Alec was greedy. Also Nash got grins and waves and mental thoughts about whether or not he was still giving up on pies. The dude really shouldn't. That was like giving up on ice cream. ... Giving up on ice cream was a LOT worse!

The sight of Kace and his particularly ruffly hair made Alec's eyes grow a little wider. He was a bit like his sister, Kace was, and that reminded Alec that he wasn't doing a good job of looking after the little dude. Good going, Summers. "Hey Kace!" he said, reaching over and ruffling the boy's hair, "Well, I'm great and this meet-up is great and there's ICE CREAM! What's up with you?"

Also, was Wade a kitty now or...? And was Kace planning on joining a gymnastics team after Hogwarts? ... Shrugging, Alec grinned over at Tobias before reaching over and grabbing hold of a packet of sweets that was sitting sort of near the first year. ... Sorry.

Alec was just about to rip open the packet and nom on the sweets when the sight of someone familiar approaching them made him stop. And blink some more. "MESSY! Long time, no see!" Hey roommate, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? And had he noticed the messy dorms? Alec hadn't done that. Nope. Cough. "You could say that. Come and join us, mate!"

Yeah, see, this was how she liked to work. Let someone think they had the upperhand and that they were gonna win...and then retaliate and keep fighting because that was when their guard was down, when they already thought they had won. But the fight was not even close to being over yet.

Case in point: he now had snow down his sleeve. Bwahah-

Penelope felt herself sink even deeper into the snow when he flopped over on her. Merlin's beard he wasn't supposed to try to crush her because of that! She didn't deserve to be smushed into snow.

"Gerroff!" she exclaimed, flailing and trying to push him off. The snow was so colddddd.

He just looked at her as she chuckled at the fact that she had taken his ice cream and was eating it, he didn’t know what to do now that she had his ice cream. He never did know what to with Mins and what she did for fun when it came to him, he then watched as she teased him with HIS ice cream bowl, he watched her eat some more as she talked about doing more snow related items "Yup all that and eating ice cream, cant forget that with the awesomeness that is the ice cream" he said as he lovingly eyed his ice cream that was now being eaten by her. He then looked at her as she tried to deny the fact that she had stolen the ice cream "Yes that, thats mine!" he said as she said that she brought it in with her "No I didn’t, I saw you steal it from me! " he said to her as she chuckled and moved away even further away from him.

He watched her as she laughed really hard at him calling her immature, though he didn’t know what was so funny about it when it was true that she was immature since she stole his ice cream! something that he loved ever so much that he hadn’t loved anything else as much as he loved the ice cream. He then watched as if in slow motion the ice cream bowl fell out of her hands as she screamed out about the ice cream. He just stared at it "My Ice Cream" he said as he looked at it frowning. He then suddenly felt cold stuff hit him and he heard her yell ice cream fight as she ran off before he had a chance to react. He heard her giggle as she ran off and he grabbed a handful of Ice cream snow and ran after her chuckling as he got ready to throw the ice cream at her.

Heh. As Tag, um, poked her cheeks, she raised her head and tucked bits of her fringe behind her ears so she could see. Apparently there was no point trying to hide her pink cheeks, Tag would poke them and see them, regardless. Oh, well. Never mind, she could always just do this: the little badger turned her head to the side and playfully snapped at Tag's finger.

Teach him to poke her cheeks. Hmph. Not that she minded.

"Forever?" That was a long time. "Fooooorever is a long ti-ime, but I, wouldn't mind spending it by your siiiiiiide," she sung quietly, before shutting up completely. He didn't hear that, RIGHT? She hadn't been singing it to him .. at least, she didn't think she had. Maybe she had. "Um, ur, yeah. I'm hungry. VERY hungry," she assured him and nodded lots to support her claim. For someone so tiny, she had a big stomach and a lot of food would be required to fill it. Oh, orange juice, she thoughts, picking the cup up and taking a sip. Though, she almost spat it back out in laughter when she realised that he was pretending to be a waited.

Admittedly, quite an interesting sight. Ahem, now she was imagining him wearing a suit and tie. Leave, weird thoughts, leave. Instead of mental images, Bliss focused on the boy actually in front of her. Not a much better plan, as she flushed red again when he said that she was his 'favourite and only Blissy'. Though, he probably didn't know any other Bliss', but STILL. Tag seemed very confident not, not at all nervous and that only made her more nervous. "Right. What can I have for starters?" That was a reasonable question, right? After all, he'd been the one to pack the basket, not her.

"Yeah. Yeah, of course," she nodded furiously, and beamed. "Why wouldn't it?" Was he hiding something? Like what? the reasonable part of her brain asked. Like, maybe he's poisoned the food? the completely ridiculous and stupid part suggested. WOW, she was talking to herself inside her head. She had problems. "Definitely not," she said, pausing for a second, "could I have jelly beans for my starter? Or .. something AND jelly beans?" Bliss honestly didn't mind, as long as it included jelly beans.

Simple, really.

Was Bliss really snapping at him? At his fingers? He thought that, if she wanted to playfully annoy him the ears or eyes, snapping near them of course, would be more of an annoyance. One he wouldn't mind, honestly. Tag tried to retaliate but instead of making sharp snapping sounds his fingers merely made a low rubbing, buzzing sound. "I'm rubbish at this." He confessed to Bliss, with a laugh as she continued to snap at him.

Now she was singing. He clearly heard her. His ears were well trained to sound. The little blonde had never heard of that song, but the words seemed pretty 'big'. Since he didn't know any background context to what type of song it was Tag began to randomly whip his head back and forth while pretending to be a cheering fan at a concert. Maybe she would actually continue singing if she heard that there was a fan? Even if there was only one. "Little person hungry. Little person eat. Blissy person full and happy!" Tag said in a slightly barbaric voice as he rubbed his tummy. And, of course, he wanted Bliss to be happy, whether it be hungry wise, or just in general.

"Today's starters, m'am, there's a wide ( not so wide ) choices for you to pick out to satisfy thy taste buds. The chef has recommended that his customers, err, date, begin with these delicious, creamy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. If the pretty err, lovely girl is allergic to peanut butter he hath suggested for blueberries or cheese as a err a backup, yes." He held up all three containers of the food he had just suggested. If she couldn't tell, his persona was a way to cover up his nervousness. Because Tag Kildare was a eternal mess.

"Coming from a son who has a parent that is a chef, you'd expect I'd be at least decent, yeah? Well, nope. Almost burned down my kitchen one time trying to cook pasta." Tag said as he shook the head at the image forming in his head from the almost accident. Of course the infamous jelly beans. Tag chuckled a bit when she asked if she could have them for starters. "Of course you can have jelly beans for starters. " There was nothing wrong with that. If it made her happy then he was happy. Suddenly the boy then grabbed a fizzing whizbee stacked a jelly bean, then a blueberry on top, and then ended the chain of treats with another fizzing whizbee at the top. ""Or you can make your own dish. If you wanna be adventorous, of course."

Tobias giggled slightly as Captain Ella called him and Kace the bash brothers. He wasn't sure if it was a reference or something, but it sure was accurate. Tobias felt like with the right dose of sugar, he and Kace were totally a force to be reckoned with, ooh yeah!

And then Kace was talking to him. "Hey man! Yeah I know, I've just been trying to do homework and stuff. It's super difficult to stay focused on it when there's just so much more fun stuff to do," he explained, reaching over for one of the sandwiches that Minerva had pointed out. He was stuck in the habit of always eating something savoury before sweet.

Tobias hadn't even been sitting still for that long and he was already feeling the cold. "How can you be eating ice cream? Or more to the point, how is it not just solid ice? It's freeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing."

Totally not one for exaggeration. Nope. Not at all.

Suddenly remembering what Wade had said, as if it only just registered with him, Tobias turned to the older boy. "Did you say you knew where we could get pyjamas like that?" he asked excitedly. That would be so cool. Well... probably more warm than cool.

"Oi!" Tobias exclaimed in mock-protest as Alec totally actually really did STEAL the sweets near him, and was about to say something hilarious when someone else arrived. And was Alec calling the guy Messy? Well that was rude.

"Hi," the boy smiled up at the guy who'd just shown up. Tobias wasn't familiar this kid, and so kind of went into shy mode. For now he would just eye up the STOLEN GOODS bag of sweets in Alec's hands and turn on his 'sad puppy dog' expression until someone supplied him with the necessary sugar.

Taking Pebbles for another afternoon stroll, Airey found himself drawn to the lake. More specifically he was drawn to the ruckus being made. Whatever it was sounded like FUN and where there was fun being had he certainly needed to be at. Life was too short to be serious all the time right?

"HEEEEEEEEEEELLO HUFFLEPUFFS!" he greeted loudly as he approached the group. THEY HAD ICE CREAM?! Perfect for cold weather like this, no?

Could he get some of that? Pebbles too?

Ella loved her team, okay? Each one of them was different and funny and friendly and the blonde felt completely at home hanging out with them. Made sense though, yeah? They were badger family and all that.

She GRINNED at Wade as he offered Oakey a pickle with gummies, fighting the urge to smirk because she didn’t want to make Oakey Worm mad. Not at the moment, anyway. She still hoped he was going to play the bass for them, actually.

The blonde turned her attention to little Kace when he asked about the match and she thought on that for a moment or two before answering. Hmm. ”I think that it’ll be a really tough match-up, actually. Neither team is gonna go down without a fight.” Yup, that was the truth. Ella knew perfectly well what kind of talent they were going up against and she knew better than to be over confident. Her expression softened a bit as she added, ”But you lot are brilliant and I believe in all of you.” Just in case anyone was doubting that. And Merlin’s beard! Kace was really good at doing flips and stuff. Ella applauded the little guy, enjoying the show.

“I’ll take a pickle.” She said after a while of watching Kace, reaching for the jar. Pickles and ice cream were a perfectly acceptable meal, yeah? YEAH. You were meant to try new things in life and this was just one of those times. Nom. Nom. Nom. Did she mention she was glad Minnie had brought them ice cream? BEAM! ”Okay, Min. You’re in charge of the fort, then.” And really, she seemed to have lots of energy for this sort of thing so Ella didn’t think she’d mind.

Boyfriend hugsss! Ella liked those and she snuggled closer to Alec for warmth, forgetting about the fact they had an audience. Badgers liked to hug so this wasn’t anything weird. ”I am cold but I don’t want you to be cold so you keep your coat, mmkay?” And she could just keep close to him to stay warm? Besides they had tons of blankets. That would help too.

The blonde giggled as Tobias was about to mock!scold Alec and then she saw a very familiar face approaching. O_____O ”UNCLE MESSY?!” Merlin’s beard, he was ALIVE! BEAMMMMMMM! And she casually tossed the little puppy Tobias some gummy worms while she continued to STARE at her friend. ”Where have you been?” Cause he disappeared again, y’know. Also… ”Want some ice cream, Mess?” It was really good, y’know.

And..."HI PROFESSOR AIREY!" Hey look, this was turning into quite the party! "Hi pebbles!" That was his name right, Pebbles? Ella thought so. "You guys want to come eat sweets and ice cream and pickles with us?!" Cause they didn't mind and there was more than enough to share!

Minerva took a few bites of her ice cream and jumped up. She jogged in place a bit to get warm. It was super cold, but it was because they turned to cold up to save the ice cream. Yep exactly why. Now she looked at the blanket. BLANKET FORT TIME!!!! Did Ella just say she was in charge of the fort.. WELL OF COURSE SHE WAS! Min bounced at this and twirled a bit. She was the queen of the blanket fort. Going over to the tree she lifted her wand and stuck the end to it stretching it out she pouted and stomped her foot playfully like a two year old. “guys it’s not long enough to go to the other tree.” How would they make blanket forts now. As she really tried to focus to figure this out a voice distracted her. “MESSER where have you been.” SERIOUSLY where.. had she even seen him this term. Nope she couldn’t remember. “food.. candy.. ICE CREAM” she said as she pointed to each place.

She couldn’t let it go to waste now could she. Speaking of going to waste she was glad she could clean Alec up, that wasn’t nice of her at all to spill her ice cream on him. “Oh it’s chocolate of course. Would I eat anything else?” Come on little brother you knew her better than that. She loooovvved her chocolate. Her eyes went back to Kitty and she started humming soft kitty again. What a fantastic day it was. Her team together eating ice cream and having fun. Plus she was going to get this blanket for to work. SHE WOULD!!!

Minerva spun around at Tobias words. “Kitty Tobias how can you NOT be eating ice cream. It’s amazing this time of year. Best part it won’t melt.” Nope not at all. She went back to humming soft kitty and looking at the blankets. I WILL MAKE YOU BLANKET FORT.. I WILL. Then she heard a voice and jumped. [B] “Professor Flamsteed.. Hello, come be a bager today.” [b] She laughed knowing he wasn’t, but today he would be. “Would you like some ice cream. I have sandwiches as well, Ella as candy, but Ice cream is right there.” Yes Ice cream was the main event.. right? Right? Then she looked back at her fort. “Wait there is a spell to make blankets bigger right, what is it.” Why couldn’t she think of it. She just thought of ice cream


=========HARVEY TIME LINE===========

Minerva ran and hid behind a tree there was no way he was going to find her here. NO WAY. She was a good hider. She was a badger anyway.. but wait that wasn’t good hider it was good finder. Shrugging at least he wasn’t a badger so he would never find her. She was looking around the tree when she tripped falling into the snow. Ouch what was that..HOLD THE PHONE.. was that ice cream. She looked around. Who’s ice cream was it. Oh well finders keepers and she was keeping it because she was about to get attacked.

Scooping some out with her hand she took a bite first, because she wasn’t going to waste all of it and then she jumped from her hiding place and threw it at Harvey. Laughing she took off after the stashed ice cream again. “Someone left this here. Maybe it was the ice cream fairies. They saw I needed it and came and brought it.” Yep that’s exactly what happened she knew it had to be it. Oh wait she shouldn’t be talking to the enemy getting up and scooping more into her hand she took off.

Harvey continued running until he kind of lost sight of her, he was breathless and looking for his best friend. He had to admit he was having fun again just like the old days, best of all due to the ice cream he had been able to fulfil his promise to this best friend. He walked forwards looking in every possible hiding place that he could see but she was nowhere to be seen, he wondered where she had disappeared to. He then heard a muffled thud or something as if someone fell to the ground so he ran in that approximate direction and still he could not find Mins, man she was good at hiding he had been searching for a bit and not found her yet.

Suddenly he saw Mins jump out from where she was hiding, he saw that she had been hiding behind HIS tree. She then threw something cold at him at first he thought it was snow but then his snow had flavour, many flavors..kind of like his Bertie Botts... NOWAY! She couldnt have! He hoped it was not true, though it was possible afterall it was HIS tree at the lake. He rounded the corner and he saw that she was talking about someone leaving it there for her, her ice cream fairies. He couldnt believe that she had found HIS stash of emergency ice cream! He then watched as she scooped up more of his Bertie Botts Every Flavour Ice Cream and ran off with it. Before he ran after her he carefully hid his ice cream again and made sure that no one else knew about this one of many secret stashes around the whole school. No one seemed to have seen the stash so he then took some snow and ran after Minnie, he had no idea how she found his secret stash. "Minnie you in trouble now! get back here! That was my ice cream!" he said to her laughing as he ran after her.

Wade was perfectly nomming on the Gummy-Pickle.. and occasionally dipping it into the Ice cream before eating it. What? It tasted good! He did this while watching and thumping up Kace's little gymnastic tricks. The kid was going to be a star, yes he was.

Did Alec just call him mate? Aw, that was nice. As soon as he got near, Wade locked his arm around him for the *HAIR RUFFLE* before freeing him. Heh, heh. "Yep, fresh pickles." He crunched on another pickle before moving the jar for everyone.

He was becoming a hog with them.. Especially with the arrival of another guy, who looked familar but Wade didn't quite know his name. "Yeah, best time for one, isn't it?" Smirking to the fifth-year badger. "Here, have a Pickle."

Aw, poor Tobi was getting all cold. "Grab a blanket, little guy and have a bowl." Smiling at him. Ice cream was great for every weather, and brought good feelings. Just look at Minnie, who was always happy because of it. Heh. Oh right, they need bigger blankets, not a problem. "Oh I know it Minnie, He withdrew his wand out to draw a nearly complete circle before saying, "Engorgio blanket." Concentrating until the blanket swelled to the size enough for everyone to bundle in. "C'mon in quick, so we can eat more ice cream."

Oh, and he wanted the matching pyjamas.. SWEET! "Yeah, the Quibbler runs some order ads for them to support the search of Crumpled-Horn Snorkacks.. they're expensive, but I can get discounts." A bitter-sweet perk, that only Minnie so far knew on the how. But enough of that, Professor Airey, the permanently suited-man was joining them! "Hello, Professor and pebbles! Care to join us for a bowl?" He said while waving his pawed hand from his tiger onesie outfit.

Now that she had her bearings straightened out, the thirteen year old trudged all the way to the lake through the remaining snow and bitter winds. If spring was coming soon, it certainly didn't feel like it to her. She kept her bag close to her to help keep her warm. It was packed full of goodies too, so she didn't want to let it flop itself over and lose any of them on the walk.

She held her hand above her eyes to shield them from the bright afternoon sun that glared off of the water as she searched the area. The winds rolling off the lake were refreshing but still a bit chilly, so she pulled her cloak tighter and quickened her pace. There MUST be a willow around here somewhere... she thought as she explored. They like water, this is a lake, and I need to find one soon so....There just HAS to be one. Plus I need to make it haaaappy with some treats I brought for it!!

She went all along the banks of the lake until she spotted something swaying in the distance. Could that be one? She raised her brows at it and rushed closer. Finally she was upon it and saw that it was indeed a willow. Now all she had to do was talk to it and get it to agree to let her take a branch and carve it up with runes and dip it into beeswax and make it a wonderful magical thing. No problem right? She sucked in a cool breath and thought, Here goes nothing! as she stepped up to the base of the great tree.

He had snow in his sleeve. It was cold! Like, it was actually touching his skin, which meant that it was extra cold. Why would she do that? His hand flailed around as he tried and failed to get all of the fresh snow out of his sleeve. The fifteen year old wanted to call a personal foul! That was cheating. Play by the rules or not at all, yeah? Cheater.

S'only okay when he cheated.

So yeah, he was flopped on top of his girlfriend but that was HER fault. She should have foreseen this coming. Ruddy snow was cold, jeez.

As she started to flail the snow went DEEPER into his sleeve and he let out a yelp. Ahem, a MANLY yelp, of course. She had to stop moving. It was only making it worse. And so he said kind of annoyed like, "You're making it worse!"

And no, that did not mean she set fires in closest, despite the scorch marks that were obviously noticeable in the Ravenclaw broom closet.

That had not been her doing. Nope, and she'd deny it if asked.



Cooold, it was so cold suddenly. Wrapping her arms around her she began to rub her hands up and down her jacket sleeves. "Accio mittens" she summoned not one, or two, but three pairs of mittens. "here, cause it feels like were sitting in an ice box" she shivered and moved to hand Lex and Nigel a pair of stark black mittens each.

So now they had new fireworks awesome. It seemes that had a couple more explosions to before they ran out of stuff. It always ends eventually. "Cool. Add some of your fireworks to our other stuff." Nigel pointed to the pile of stuff that they were exploding.

Now they were ready to start exploding. Just who was going to count down. It was an important duty after all. He-He duty.

She wasn't the only one who would find it hard to fall asleep now. Anyone standing out here with them would have the same complaint. Not that it was a complaint. This was some of the most fun she'd had all term! There wasn't a single class that allowed them to do this freely.

"Not sure we should make it much bigger. We're already sending signals people can see all the way back in England. Any bigger and we'll have the Headmistress out here--Hey maybe we could ask her to join. She'd know some really cool spells, wouldn't she??" And now she was almost hoping it would happen but would the woman really come out this early in all this cold?

"Do you have anymore of the colours?" She asked curiously. "We could add them with Mika's Fireworks, for extra colours and all." Just a suggestion.

Ooo and they were casting now!

Well apparently Mika gave them gloves. Nigel was comfortable as is. But did not want to refuse them. So he took them and put them in his pocket. He never did like performing spell work with stuff on his hands.

The gryffindor raised a good point. "True. We should not make it much bigger. Or else we will attract unwanted attention" Nigel thought about whether Truebridge would actually join in with them. Nope she would probably give us detention."Probably would just give us detention for no reason."

Nigel looked through his box for more colors. Cool, He had a couple left. "Yeah, Here pick one you want. Then we will add Mika's to it" Nigel handed the box over to her.

"Okay everyone ready?" Nigel looked at each of them to be sure. Never could be too careful. "ONE, TWO, THREE......."

Why was it so blasted COLD? Sure it was the end of February, but this was just unnaturally cold for Scotland, even. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten up so early for my rounds this morning.

But as he drew nearer to the lake, he started to hear thunderous booming noises. "Wha' in th' name o' Robert the Bruce is goin' on over there?" It definitely merited investigation. The last thing he needed was ridiculous goblins tearing apart that tree house to pay back more debt.

For some reason, he felt the need for caution. He hid behind a clump of bushes and peered out at the shore. What he saw took several seconds for him to register.

Three students... blowing up Hogwarts property?!?!

He was rooted to the spot for at least ten seconds. Could he really be seeing this? He squinted and edged forward a bit, careful to remain unseen. Who are the hooligans? The one was clearly Alexa Cambridge. He'd had enough run-ins with her to recognize her build anywhere. As for the other two... He thought the one was Mika, but couldn't be sure; the third wasn't familiar to him.

Another loud explosion sounded. He'd definitely seen enough. They could seriously injure someone.

The Scot came barging out of his hiding place, lengthening his stride as he saw them raise their wands for another shot. Intent of preventing this, he raised his voice in anger. "By Adam Duncan's furious fleet, wha's the meaning o' all this?!"

Three! He said three!!

"Expul--"

Lex whipped around and spotted the Grounds Keeper making his way over to them. Blink. Blink. Okay, it's either it wasn't all that early anymore and they'd been blasting for hours or everyone woke up early on a Saturday. SERIOUSLY. And he ruined the explosion, she'd totally lost concentration. If he wanted to join, all he had to do was ask quietly.

Reluctantly she lowered her wand, still wishing she could have seen it go BOOM and offered him a GRIN.

"G'Morning Sir! Pleasure seeing you out this early! Do you normally take walks at this hour?" Probably. The man looked positively winded. Getting it the work out. You go Not Shiny Grounds Keeper!

"We were just practising a few spells that were learned to keep ourselves sharp. I've taught myself one, Mr. Vinteren taught me another and Nigel here knew one that he showed me. Would you like to see? We still have plenty of fireworks we could blow up--colouring too to make it extra pretty...oh but you'd have to step back, safety first." BEAMMM.

"You are here to join, right Sir? Because after this we're all going for ice-creeeeeeam."
