Jory had been thinking of ice cream. He wanted lots of ice cream. Maybe a cupcake will fill the need until he could have some of the frozen treat later on?

He turned his attention to the younger boy who had taken a seat in one of the bean bags next to him. "Hello,'' Jory said. He had seen this guy around, especially in the Hufflepuff common room. "What's up?'' He was just making conversation.

But just then, Professor Cerulean spoke.

Jory thought for a moment as he listened to some of the other responses. He particularly liked Partners in Grime. He raised his hand. "How about Filth Fighters, Professor?''

Theo sighed heavily when nobody that he wanted to come came. Summers arrived, but Theo totally ignored him. Then Ella came, of course she would follow her precious boyfriend. He turned to look at her the moment she said his name, and just nodded with a half smile. Because it was effort to say hi, apparently.

Theo didn't like many of the suggestions, but couldn't think of his own to add to the table. He kinda regretted coming here, since he just wanted to get his hands on cleaning equipment. Not be a part of an actual cleaning club. Sheesh.

But there was one girl who's idea was okay, he supposed. The Slytherin sighed slightly but decided to have his say. "I think Scourgifighters is cool." There, that was all he was gonna say. Theo leaned back onto his beanbag and tried to look... cool.

Looking cool at a cleaning club was difficult, you know.

Laura wasn't sure if the name would fit but it was worth a try. "Professor how about "the Clean Sweep team" Laura smiled, she wasn't sure it was the best idea but someone had already used her Dustbuster idea that she had used for Astronomy homework, so she wasn't going to repeat it.

The quill at the paper wrote down each of the ideas quickly as Professor Cerulean looked on with a huge smile on her face. Once it seemed like some things had quieted down a little bit, she turned back to the group. "Yes, these are all brilliant! " she said excitedly. "Let's vote on our official name then!" she said and with a flick of her wand little pieces of paper flew out from a side table and landed by each of the attendees.

"These pages have been chanted to help us vote for our name. All you have to do is write the name of your choice on the paper and your votes will be tallied on the white piece of paper..." she said with a smile. "I'll give you all a few minutes to get your votes in." she said as she grabbed a paper and began writing her favorite choice.

OOC: Okey dokey, we'll vote through the Poll at the top. I'll leave this up for about a day and then we'll have a name. Feel free to post your character voting as well, but don't feel like you have to say your choice out loud. Thanks everyone!

Peyton was sat next to Ariana when Professor Cerulean began to the club meeting. She was here because...well, because the school was filthy. That and she was curious as to hole they planned to keep the school clean.

She sunk herself deeper into the bean bag, releasing a very satisfied sigh.

Ohhhh!

Names for the club. This was always the fun part. She liked the sound of Dust Busters. Like, they were going to bust things like Aurors and be all like muggles cop and...PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM. Though dust and grime didn't have hands, but it sounded tough.

Totally voting for that one.

The professor had called all of them brilliant! Sonea smiled and nodded, yes, she was proud that she was here to help and to clean Hogwarts, so yes, it was a good thing that they all were here and had tried to think of names for this cleaning club.

Sonea had heard a lot good names, and even now that she had liked a few names, she now saw one name in particular who was better than the others. Sonea wrote the name she wanted on the paper with her not so neat handwriting and smiled when she was done. She had chosen the name Dust Busters, she thought that the name was really cool and would be proud if she could call herself a member of the Dusk Buster team!

Voting time? Okay, then.

Ella picked up her quill and tapped it on the desk for a few minutes, going over her choices. She really liked most of the names and thought they were all pretty clever as far as cleaning club names went. She'd narrowed it down to three, though. Dust Busters, Grime fighters, and partners in grime. All cool names as far as Ella was concerned.

And then after some debating, she scribbled down her choice. There. Voting done.

Lex took a brief look around the class and realized she might have taken too many cupcakes but well...no one was complaining about it or anything so it should have been fine.

Hmm?

Lex was in the middle of eating one of her cupcakes when she was suddenly being talked to. That was the only way she would describe it. One minute she was eating and the next she was being talked to. She chewed a bit more then swallowed, this way she could respond. "Thanks! Congrats to you too! You were great at tryouts!" GRIN.

Then she turned her attention back to the Professor and the name picking. She was about to suggest Dust Busters but then Penelope did so...she'd...just vote for that one when it came the time to

Yup. Dust Busters was cooool.

It had her vote too.

Anya drank her soda while listening to the names that her schoolmates suggested. She nodded to a few of them that she supported. Soon it was time to vote. She thought for a few seconds about what she'd like to be called before smiling and casting her vote.

So many good names! Jory couldn't decide which to choose. He debated with himself. "Which one?'' he kept asking. It was definitely between Grime Fighters and partners in grime.

After a few more minutes, Jory finally decided. He scribbled down his choice.

Glancing up at the list several times before she made her choice, Eliza debated silently. She was surprised to hear someone else liked her Scourgifighters suggestion, but now that he'd said so, she was starting to think it wasn't as bad of an idea as she'd previously thought. Also, had she ever really seen that boy before? Surely. Hmmmm...

Anyway, she did still like Grime Fighters a lot though. She didn't want to be one of those people who voted for their own idea though, and she did think Grime Fighters was a bit easier to say, so....

She made her vote.

Before the meeting had started Sarah had opted to read the things on the wall instead of socialising. Sarah was a reading adict after all. Yet she had scooted to the bean bag when the meeting began yet still as the professor spoke her eyes were reading the things up. It was because of that she missed the initial question yet she did land in time tp realize that they were voting for a name. She looked over the ist and quickly voted her favourite, although it was hard as most of them were good.

After being distracted for the one billionth time by lint and FUR in his office no thanks to a certain brunette professor and her feline monster. Needless to say, he was a little late.

Walking in to the room with a box in hands, he marched right up to Gemma. "I brought the lint rollers!"

AND he had already taught students how to use this fantastic muggle invention, so they didn't need to waste time with it. He figured a good place to start would be the tapestries and curtains.

Oh. Oops. Were they busy with something? Coming up with a name for the club by the looks of it. He was sort of a fan of Dust Busters personally - reminded him of a muggle movie and comic - but Scourgifighters had a nice ring to it as well. He was just going to stand here off to the side with his box of lint rollers.

Oh look! There was soda! Although he fancied ice cream at the moment, so he would pass up the bubbly for now.

She liked the room. YES YES, she did. Sitting on the comfy bean bags she just watched people throw random name suggestions. She was too...ignorant to suggest a name yet. They were doing a wonderful job themselves. They don't need the name expert. SMIRK.

And now they were polling. HMMM. Let's see.

The list was long. Cross out, cross out, cross, cross....UHH. GROSS. Who thinks of such names? Ah, that one. Partners in Grime? Now, what a quirky one. Maybe a lion work, well also worthy of a snake.

Right, tick-o. She selected an option and settled down to her nothing routine. She was just okay with any name. Also okay with NO NAME, as long as they did something worthwhile.

A cleaning club? This was great! They just needed a pie club. Maybe he would ask someone if he could create a pie club because pie is amazing and tasty. So if he joined this club would all of them have to go around cleaning and what not? Would they get sorted up into groups because of course they would have to clean.

Nashville looked around at the other students. Some seemed really happy about this cleaning club and some seemed confused and then there was Nashville Cash who was happy and confused about it. It gave him something to do. Something kind of fun and maybe he would meet new people and be friends with them. He loved making new friends but that was what was great about be in Hufflepuff, right? Everyone liked each other.

They needed idea's for names? Nashville thought about it but nothing popped up in his head and that was a first.

Voting things. Right. Yes... Well... Derry didn't exactly have a preference - they were all just basically bad puns anyway - but she chose and cast her vote quickly, still sat on her bean bag, wondering when they were going to start cleaning things. She liked cleaning... she did a lot of it at home, keeping the house clean and the stables fresh and things... and it was far easier with magic. Did these people KNOW how bad the Slytherin dorms had been? HMMM? You know, other than the Slytherins...

Okay those lint rollers looked really nice. Right? Because they were clean and well, if she had her own one she could bring it to Astronomy with her. And not use Professor Flamsteed’s personal lint rollers anymore. She had been quietly sitting there thinking of names and not really commenting.

“Does GrimeForce work? Or maybe use another language? Like Latin…fo with Tersus Maximus or something” but that was lame. Like really really lame.

“Thanks” she smiled at Professor Flamsteed as she grabbed a lint roller and immediately began to use it.

The professor's face beamed as Airey came in. She knew the two of them would make sure this club worked perfectly. She nodded at him and then said, "Welcome to the party, Professor. " she said sweetly before turning around to check on the votes. Finally it seemed everyone's was in.

"Well it looks like we'll be the Hogwarts Dust Busters!" she said with a smile on her face as she examined the results again... "I'll get us some badges made so that you can wear them on your robes."

She walked over to the maps hanging on the wall and snapped her fingers. When she did, copies of the maps flew into the room and hovered in front of each of the maps on the wall. The copies were rolled up.

"You'll notice these are maps of the different floors at Hogwarts. What we need to do is split up and examine each of the floors and areas at Hogwarts and try to figure out where we need to help clean things up." she said glancing at the rolled up maps. "So we need volunteers to venture into the castle and mark on these maps where we need to clean up the most." she walked over to one of the blank sheets of paper and snapped her fingers and the magic quill immediately went to the clean piece of paper and started writing out the different areas.

"You can either partner up or go alone, but we need to have every area that needs to be cleaned marked on the map, so if you see an area you want, just yell it out and the quill will mark it down." she said excitedly. "Remember we'll need to cover every part of the different floors to insure we get everything even the smallest jobs marked down. Once you see that everything is filled up grab the maps and head out." she said with a little nod up and down.

The Dust Busters. Beam. Ella really did like this name the most. The fact that they were getting badges made was nice as well. Oh and Professor Airey brought lint rollers? N'awww. Though cleaning with those was going to be a bit difficult, yeah? Unless they were meant to go around de-linting their classmates which...could get really awkward. Yeah.

Anywhoo...

Ella eyed the map and tapped her chin several times. Where did she want to investigate? "I'll take the first floor, Professor." And anyone was welcome to join her. Hopeful looks were given to her friends because going on a cleaning adventure was almost certainly better with friends.

WOOT! Dust Busters!!! And there was Professor Airey too! She didn't know he was apart of the club! Oh and they were going to get badges!! She'd have something prettiful to stick to her robe and it'd look neat and she'd probably ask Lottie to transfigure it to say what she wants. Heh. This plan was sounding better and better.

Lex sipped on her soda then began attacking another cupcake while the Professor spoke.

Splitting up and investigating? WOW! The woman was making this cleaning business seem like one of those action packed spy mystery muggle movies that he father hardly allowed her to watch because she'd get ideas! COOOL! Lex locked eyes with the list, mentally debating which would best work for her. Finall she stuck her hand up and had it waving around.

"I volunteer too!! I'm taking the Third Floor!!" She could have a search team if anyone wanted to come with her but yeah, third floor it was.

Dust Busters! Jory didn't mind that name. He liked it. So, they needed to clean practically the entire Castle! That was going to be tough but if they had enough volunteers.

Jory yanked his hand in the air. "I'll take the second floor, Professor,'' he said. "Anyone else for the second floor too?'' he wondered hopefully.

Laura looked at the Professor and smiled. "I take whatever floor that you wanted me to do." Laura didn't care which one, she was just glad that she could help clean up, she would take the whole castle if she had to which was a point. "Professor who is cleaning the outside of the castle?"

That was really a good name and she liked it! She had totally NO problems with calling herself a member of the Dust Buster team! Yeah, she liked it! The name sounded cool and she was sure that everybody else would like the name to! Sonea’s smile widened and she wanted to start with cleaning so that the school would be a little more cleaner, and the thought that she would have helped with this was also nice!

She looked at the map she now saw and wondered where she would start… “Oh, I will take the Dungeons” said Sonea while she looked at the two professors, “the dungeons are close to my common room so it’s easy for me to start there.” She wanted to start there because she liked it to walk on clean surface to her common room and to not being afraid of all the spiders and dirt around her. “Wants somebody to help me? It’s more fun together.”

Minerva was sitting waiting for the results of the voting when she noticed Professor Flamsteed come in. Smiling, she had once thought he was a bit odd and wasn't sure, but lately she had a new found respect for the man. "Hello Professor, it's nice to see you here."

She then turned her attention to the front of the room just the muggle studies professor began talking again. Oh so they were using Dustbusters well that should make Laura happy. She chuckled to herself with the name. She did like it, so that was a plus.

As the maps came along, Minerva stuck up her hand. "Professor, Nash, Eliza, and I could do the grounds since the outside is bigger area." She looked at the two of them hoping it was alright she selected them to work with her.

Seeing Professor Flamsteed come in, she smiled widely and waved at him. And with a box of lint rollers no less, she chuckled to herself. Well I guess that makes sense since he looks like he wants to help out. But still...spells, yunno? She still thought he was a great professor, even if he did put a lot of faith into sheets of sticky paper.

So Dust Busters it is then? Well okay. It wasn't her favorite but it was still pretty good and it was catchy, so she nodded in approval. She looked to Min when she volunteered herself and that cute boy to help her with the grounds clean up. Is she crazy? How am I going to focus on cleaning with someone like....like that around? She just smiled and nodded at the professor to show it was okay, but Min knew just what she was doing, and if Eliza'd turned to look at her she'd bet five galleons Min'd be smirking to herself right now.
