The young girl was tired from all the lessons she had followed that day and all the homework she had already done but before she would go back to her Common room, who was still not a pleasant place to be she wanted to do something with her homework for the Astronomy lesson she had followed that day. She had the vacuum cleaner with her she had used during the lesson and she wanted to work for just a few minutes, knowing that if she would do it now that she would have less work tomorrow to do. Sonea had no problems with using the vacuum cleaner, even now that she knew that it was a muggle tool, but the point was, Sonea hated dirt and she liked it when everything was clean and neat around her, so this homework was not bad at all!

Sonea found the room she was now in accidentally, she had been walking around the castle without knowing where she was and had found this place. And now that Sonea looked around her she saw clearly that the house Elves were gone, she saw dust in the corners of the room, what was a good thing for her because she could do her homework now! “Vacavus” said Sonea while she tapped with her wand on her vacuum cleaner and cleaned the dust she saw.

So here she was making her way down the castle. While vacuuming she was keeping an eye out for her darling kneazle that didn't seem to like the idea of staying in the dorm for two long. Ugh, she just hoped he didn't go running into certain people, she wasn't in the mood to watch him be wand-handled again. No thanks.

Turning a corner and heading down another corridor she came across one that looked especially dirty. This needed fixing up too. "Vacavus!" The familiar roaring of the vacuum could be heard as she got busy sucking up the dust and dirt that thought it would have been a wonderful idea to settle here. Merlin, she was starting to have sympathy for the asthmatic among them. How did they live with all this dust around and there was the occasional wind that helped it blow about.

Shame.

She moved around in the corridor, getting into the cracks and the occasional door jam until finally, she heard a faint scratching coming from just behind one. Very casually, wand and vacuum hose at ready, she swung it open and watch, with wide eyes as her kneazle was pulled in with the suction...

Oh wow...

He immediately began flailing and screeching, all claws out. This scene was too familiar. "Hey, calm down, don't break the vacuum! Finite!" The vacuum stopped immediately but the kneazle when on hissing. "Oh hush." She said, scooping him up. "Least I found you, you can come cleaning with me." And with that she headed down the hall in search of somewhere else to clean.

Kace was walking around the castle and was looking for stuff to vacuum. He saw fellow students from his class already vacuuming and decided to go further down the hall and see if anything else needed vacuuming.

He saw the wall on the side that had grime on it. It looked disgusting. He even scrunched his face at the smell and look of it. "Alright this bad boy needs cleaning." he said and got out the vacuum from his bag.

Once it was settled down and it was just sitting there, he forgot he needed the spell for it to work. "Stupid Kace, it does not need to be plugged in. You are in the magical world." He was so used to working with the vacuums in the muggle world.

Once he casted the spell, "Vacavus!" and then it roared to life. It felt like a cool monster to be honest. He liked monsters. "Alright mr monster lets go clean up some super heroes huh?" and then he was cleaning the grime right off the wall. "Aaah now it doesn't smell so bad anymore." then he spoke too soon....

He noticed a stale sandwich was in the hallway as well. "Ewwww...." Kace said and plugged his nose and picked it up and threw it away in the trash bin. At least he was being a good citizen today...

Once he was done collecting more dust bunnies and cleaned the grime, he said "Finite!" and then the vacuum was all finished.

Bowl of ice-cream in hand, Lex went walking in search of the perfect classroom for their little meeting. She and Peyton had plans to make and they weren't about to make them out in the corridor where just anyone could hear them. No thanks.

Every now and then she checked to ensure that the girl was still following her before getting lost in her ice-cream again as they walked.

It wasn't that the rooms were being used but more that they needed the PERFECT one! Ice-cream world take over plans didn't just happen anywhere you set up camp you know! Serious consideration had to be put into it--oh hey that one looked good!! "FOUND ONE!!!" Lex looked to her with a BEAM before slipping into the empty classroom.

It was empty? Yes?

She'd check using that spell Mr. Vinteren had shown her. "Homenum Revelio!" And she waited. When it didn't pick up anyone she beamed again. "Okay! Close the door so we can begin!!!!" And with that she propped herself up on the table meant for the Professor and sat with her legs folded. This was actually quite comfy!

This was going to be fun. It so was. Bound to be. She bet it was even written in the stars to be fun.

Peyton followed Lex down whatever corridor they were walking in, her eyes cast down on the bowl in her hand. Raspberry-vanilla AND a smaaaaaall amount of chocolate ice cream. Peyton wasn't a fan of chocolate, but this was ice cream. And ice cream was ice cream.

She did not pay attention when Lex stopped and almost collided with the girl, but of course, saving her ice cream Peyton held the bowl over head. There was NO way she was going to drop it. Nope.

"Fiiiiinally," Peyton exhaled as if they've been walking for ages. "I thought we'd end up in the owlery." Which would have been smelly. She scampered toward the desk at the front where Lex propped herself on and tossed her bag over it, then hopped on it, her legs swinging at the edge.

"So, I was thinking that shoving ice cream down people's throat should be left for last," she said. "You know, as a back up in case our first plans don't work." Which would totally work. Come on. It was a Slytherin and a Gryffindor working together. What better combination? There was cunning and bravery, excellent combo.

Lex was listening to everything Peyton said while she enjoyed her chocolate ice-cream with chocolate syrup and chocolate sprinkles. It was an amazing combination that almost made her miss just about everything her friend had said but don't worry, she got it all and it made her giggle somewhat uncontrollably.

Hehehehe.

Shoving ice-cream down their throats. HEHEHEHEHE!! Peyton was brilliant. She liked her. Clearly they were thinking along the same lines...even if the shoving might have been Lex's first choice. Ah well! There were plenty of things they could before they got to that extreme. Not many that were nearly as fun but they would all include ice-cream!!!!!

"Good idea! I think we'll start out being super nice!" Nodnodnod. Everyone was more likely to want to share some ice-cream with you once you were nice. "Offering them some, telling them how nice it is and if that doesn't work, we shove it down--oh wait no...we might need other options before getting to that one..."

She paused and took another spoon of her ice-cream. Hmmmmm...."Any ideas?"

Giggling. It made Peyton giggle.

What? She was in a greeeeeeeeeat mood. Great moods were awesome. Just sayin'.

Peyton nodded while scooping up some ice cream. "Yep, super nice. It's like that one saying my big brother once told me." What was it? "Fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee." Something like that. Peyton made a motion with her spoon to mimic a bee stinging Lex, but didn't touch her with it. That bit of ice cream belonged in her belly. And so she ate it.

"How about we just "give" it to them as a present?" She scooped up more ice cream. "People like presents, it's in the human gene to." Right. "We'll even add a little bow on the bowl to make even more special." Her eyes twinkled.

She would loooove it if someone gave her ice cream as a present.

Lex clung to every word that Peyton said and giggled even more at Peyton's giggling. You know, this giggling thing was becoming contagious and now she couldn't tell if it was her giggling that was making Peyton giggle or if it was Peyton giggling that had her giggle.

Eh.

Didn't matter either way. Giiiggle.

"Eeeeeeep!!!" Alexa bounced a bit where she sat. "I've heard that saying before!! You're brother's real smart, you should tell him that some time!!" GRIN. It would have been the perfect strategy then they'd be spreading ice-cream in no time!!!

Lex gave a dramatic gasp. "You are absolutely right!! They'll love it simply because it's a gift!! You know! We could also have a get together! People always attend those for the food and we'd have plenty of ice-cream to gift them once they arrive!!" No one turned down ice-cream at get togethers! Well...except that one kid but that was only because he was allergic. Poor guy. "Sparkly bows will be best!" For the bow on the bowl bit. "It'd make the ice-cream all shiny looking, wouldn't you agree." Shiiiiiny ice-cream.

Asher plopped himself down along the wall of the fifth floor corridor to work on his Gandr. Sure, he could have found a more out of the way place, but it was quiet and that is what he wanted.

Pulling out his wand and Gandr, Asher took his parchment with his notes on it and began reading the next steps instructions. He reached back into his bag and pulled out his red lead along with his linseed oil to redden the runes.

As he combined the red lead and linseed oil, he chanted "Laukaz, Laukaz, Laukaz,"After they were combined, he pulled his galdrstaf out of his bag to apply it to the runes.

While applying the prepared reddening to the runes, Asher chanted about the runes and their powers. It took him quiet some time, and he continued working in the corridor until it was nearly dark.

Alice was one hundred percent ready to kick Lex's bum at racing, but her legs were important limbs, okay? She couldn't have them getting strained or pulling some kind of muscle or breaking something, even from so little as running. While she waited in the corridor for her exercise buddy to arrive at the scene, the fifth year decided to go to the trouble of stretching out like she did for Quidditch, so as not to hurt herself.

She positioned herself on the ground with her legs in front of her, streeetching until she could reach her toes. Next were her arm stretches, and then splits- yep, she could DO those. Had to be agile for sports and things, stretches helped.

Taking care of herself, see? Gryffindors weren't always reckless.

Although the fact that two of them were about to race around in a corridor probably contradicted that.

"I'm here! I'm here! I'm here!"

Alexa bolted down the corridor toward Alice. She wasn't late...she hadn't forgotten...it wasn't like she was up in her dorm losing herself in her candy...noooope, she was HERE, or almost there.

Wait for it. Just a few more steps.

NOW she was here and grinning breathlessly. "Oh! Stretches! Good idea! I should get right on those!!!!" So she might have been yelling...no need to blame the sugar...it was her friend. Lex got down and began imitating her Captain, stretching here and there, splits too, all that jazz but when she thoughts she'd had enough she hopped up again.

"Okay we've stretched, come on we're burning daylight!!"

Very true. It wouldn't be midday forever and they had quite a distance to go...maybe...she didn't know, she just showed up. That was her doing her part. She bounced in place while listening for the instructions.

"You're late," Alice noted, still in the middle of a split, turning so she was facing her shoe and stretching to she could reach it again. Streeetch. "And you're obviously on a never ending sugar rush. No fair. There's no way you can lose a race after you've consumed your normal amount of candy." She should have forbidden that beforehand, it was CHEATING. Totally was. How was she meant to beat a kid this hyper?

And she hadn't even stretched properly. "I'm not done yet, wait a couple of minutes." A couple meant like fifteen, because that was how long Alice took to complete her series of stretching exercises. After a while, though, she was back on her feet and ready.

"Five times up, five times down the corridor?" The kid was already bouncing, and it was kind of scary to think of how much energy there was bottled up inside Alexa Cambridge. Merlin, she didn't want to know.

Whhhhaaaaaaaaat??

It was so totally NOT cheating!! It wasn't her fault Alice hadn't thought to stack up on candy before coming down for a run. Didn't she figure she would need some kind of energy food?! What if she knocked into someone?? The extra energy would cushion the collision...granted it would REALLY hurt the other guy but that wasn't really her problem now was it.

Everyone got a pair of eyes, whether they chose to use it or not was all them, she could only watch where she was going; everyone knew she hardly did that.

Ugh. More stretching first?? Lex continued bouncing while she waited. Finally she was done.

"Five up and down? Mmkay, on your mark, get set--GOOO!!!!!" And the Third year darted down the corridor. It was probably bad form since she herself didn't get into any of the positions as she called them out and she didn't check to ensure Alice was ready but but but SUGAR MADE HER DO BAD THINGS, OKAY???

Alice would catch up, mhmm.

If Lex could cheat, Alice could TOO. She'd started running when the third year had called on your mark, not waiting for the go, because any kid that hyper could easily catch up. But she could probably run faster when her opponents weren't hyped up on all that candy, so it evened the competition out a bit.

Kind of.

As soon as she reached the end of the corridor, she came to a screeching halt and turned as fast as she could, making haste to reach the other end as quickly as possible. Lex wasn't BEATING HER, OKAY? There was no way that was happening, because Alice was winning. She was. Shoe touching the edge of the wall, she turned again and started on her second lap out of the five. Concentration. She had it.

ZOOOOOOM.

Focus, Fischer.

TOLD YOU ALICE WOULD BE FINE!!

The girl was keeping up pretty well and Lex wouldn't call her out on her cheating, nah...not when she'd technically cheated too...only technically and you know it wasn't all that big a deal anyway because they were both tearing down the corridor, neck and neck, Lex falling behind sometimes but catching right back up.

She felt like everything was going in slow motion around her and there was a small buzzing but that might have been all the sugar. Her hand smacked against the wall just seconds before Alice's did but the girl had a faster push off and was already on her way down.

MOAR running was necessary!

Alexa shot forward, finally falling step with her just as the reached the other end again to begin the second lap.

This was effort, she wanted more candy when they were done, please.

Alice WAS fine, thank you very much.

Lex was fast, did she know? Maybe it was her fault for making her teams do all those laps all the time and giving the younger girl more practice at running, but she still remembered all the vigorous Selina training and the laps she assigned herself. Because captains had to do that, you know? Boss themselves around, she had decided it came with the badge and stuff. She could most definitely keep up with one of her players, thanks.

Totally could.

She finished her second and third laps fairly quickly, starting on her fourth and peeking backwards to see if Lex was still on her tail. Was she? It was the sugar, that's what it was.

Alice was getting slower, or maybe she was getting faster because she was finding it hard to go too slow now and catching up even more. Every part of her wanted to move. The sugar rush was getting worse...granted, this meant she'd crash soon but before she did she would see how much of this race she could finish.

Second and Third laps gone through and on to the fourth, still on Alice's heal mind you. This was kinda like all those times Alice said 'STAY HERE!' and she bolted after her anyway.

"Hey Cap'n 'least now you know I can keep up with you!!" She grinned despite the growing exhaustion but she wasn't about to slow down. "Does this mean I can follow you around more often? It's obvious I won't get left behind!" So in the next dangerous she soooooooo totally should have been allowed to tag along.

Besides, you were more likely to get yourself killed if you were left behind to 'watch the fort' or whatever excuse Alice could come up with in the short time.

Pfffft, Lex knew.

Follow her around more? Merlin, was this was races did? "Only when I say so." Lex's speed kind of made Alice want to experiment on her with candy. Like, if she didn't let her player eat any for a day, would she collapse of withdrawals? Or if she gave her double her dose, would she shoot through the roof? Interesting thought, she had to test it sometime. And Dora would probably be intrigued by it too, she made note to tell her best about it later.

Her muscles were in total rebellion of this exercise. They were SCREAMING, and ACHING, and she hadn't run this much since Selina drills, did Lex know? If she had more practice, and the third year had less sugar, Alice liked to think she would have been able to beat her. Sadly, that wasn't the case now, and so when Alice finished her last lap, they were neck and neck.

"That.. was.." Breaaathe. "... fun."

Whew. Okay. Shake it off, Fischer. Shake it off.

"Want to go climb trees now?"

Never ending energy, see?
