It's time to get up and start moving! Your task is to achieve at least 3 hours of physical exercise (not including walking to and from classes) and 1 hour of practicing your spell work in the dueling arena each week. In the chart below, please include:

• Time spent on Physical Exercise and Type of Activity.
• Time spent in the Dueling Arena and Spells Practiced.

Examples of Exercises include but are not limited to:

• Going for a walk
• Jogging
• Flying
• Cleaning
• Yoga
• Dancing
• Tag
• Hopscotch
• Jump rope
• Dueling

Activities may be done individually, with a partner, or with a group of people. If there are any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to stop by my office. The Activity Log will be worth 20% of your grade and due at the end of the term.

SPOILER!!: The Charts

OOC: This will be based purely on your OOC effort. This includes the actual logs and how many you decide to do, as well as how detailed they are. This will also include any posts you decide to link in your final PM to me, showing that your character has done the activity or practiced the spells.

The assignment is worth 50 points. Bonus points available. Due July 30th @ 12 pm EST.

Face the boggart in the defense classroom and then document your encounter. Describe your strong and weak points with the confrontation and what could have happened if you'd taken a different approach. Five inches in length. Due by Friday.


OOC: Post your character encountering the boggart in the defense classroom. Include the post link in your PM as well as a minimum of 1 paragraph on the encounter. Due June 1st at 12pm EST.

Think the year long activity is too easy? Do you enjoy a challenge? See if you can accomplish one of these tasks. You may even receive points for your hard work!

• Successfully cast the Contego Shield on a stationary dummy five times while a partner tries strike it with a knockback jinx.
  
• Dribble a mock quaffle from the quidditch pitch to the lake and back in under seven minutes. (at least 5 posts)
