Those puffer brats won? How could this have happened? Where was that Slytherin Captain? After all his bragging about how good his team was they go and let's the badgers beat them? And then Oakey happened... to Professor Flamsteed. This boy really had a death wish. Didn't he learn anything about the professor? Getting paint on the mans suit was NOT a smart thing to do. The painted suit was quickly forgotten though as she heard the commotion going on near the Headmistress. Oh look, the rodent seeker was in the stands, with the snitch. He may have won the game for his team but he really needed to work on his landing skills. Like landing on the pitch, not in the stands. Seeing Oakey start to move Healer Tillstorm looked over at the boy. As much as she hated to admit it, he had done a good job at cheering for the other team. "You did a nice job at cheering on the snakes Oakey. I really hope you've learned your lesson here today." Because she would hate to have to do this to him again when they played the lions or the claws. "Now go, congratulate your team... before Professor Flamsteed realizes what you've done to his suit." Cece on the other hand needed to get to the pitch to check on the students down there. Now, where was Zoe? She needed to make sure the girl was okay. |

______Someone sneezed in Bunz's hair. It was like, Evelyn didn't even care who won today now. She just got to witness THAT. "We'll see." Evelyn shook her head, still smirking though, as she turned her attention to the game. The memories from school were coming back now. Again, she had no camera. Quote:
Speaking of the game... IT WAS OVER!? Slytherins lost!? She could not look at Bunz now. Quote:
And would you look at that? She was INDEED wearing the color of the winning house. Well done Hufflepuffs! And well done Slytherins for giving a great fight in return. And well done to her for not strangling Airey by accident from tugging on his tie like she did with William. |

A tiny bit of Cassia at the end? ^_^ Quote:
BLINK BLINK. "Oakey?" Was he seeing things? Because the dude was in green. Oakey Gunter, one of Hufflepuff's greatest Beaters................. was decked out in green for a match his house's team was playing in. Maybe Alec had just... bumped his head a little when he fell. Probably. And bright yellow was starting to look like green. Yeah... that was it. There was no way the guy would support another house when his own was playing. OH OH OH. GRIN! "Erm... yeah. Yeah, nothing some ice cre-" O_O Alec coughed a little before continuing, "I mean... nothing some super healthy freshly squeezed orange juice won't fix." He would have said sugar free ice cream but... that seemed to bring back some awkward memories. Memories that was going to make the fifteen year old turn a little red. "Thanks, mate! Erm... it's a pity you couldn't play. Are you... okay?" Because he was in green. GREEN! And... he didn't understand why people were looking at him. Namely, one small blonde haired girl he had never spoken to but had seen around the school before. Was it really this odd to land in the Stands? ... Probably. Alec gave the girl a tiny wave and a smile. |
Quote:
"I'm fine, don't mind the paint. I've just been having an off week, I'll explain later why I couldn't play." He placed a hand on the Seeker's shoulder lightly and looked up to the Head Mistress. "I'll help Alec get back to the pitch Ma'am. He seems a bit dizzy from the landing." He was a little out of it too. Waving to blonde girl, he didn't see her as Ella now did he? Maybe he should run him over to the Healer first. ...Nah he's had enough of her for one day, plus he should get away from Flamsteed as soon as possible. |
belated but entertaining (I hope) reply =) Quote:
She straightened her jacket and cleared her throat. All good after that near miss. "Yes," she agreed with her nose a little more up in the air now. "That was a close shave. And the Slytherin captain is older, mhmm. You can't beat speed and agility in a young seeker like Summers, though, why he reminds me of that H---" Oh no. No no. NO. The redhead's voice just trailed off and her mouth formed a great big O as she heard the telltale sound of wings fluttering beside her ear. Oh good Merlin, NOT AGAIN! The seekers were going into a dive AT HER HEAD again! "EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" the redhead flailed and squealed like a tea kettle again, only much, MUCH louder this time. THIS WAS THE FINAL SNITCH OF THE GAME AHHHHH!!!!!! She dove forward and hid under her bench once more. This was such an athletic event to watch! Quote:
Oh look, Hufflepuff HAD won! Oh good for them, good for them. The Headmistress found herself beaming and applauding along with the rest of the crowd as she found both Seekers just in front of her. How lovely, now she could officially MEET the Summers boy! "Hey, Mr. Summers!" she returned his greeting with a laugh, clearly none the worse for the wear Quote:
HAH! |
*meep* I FELL ASLEEP! Quote:
He hadn't caught it... Standing up shakily, he heard the Headmistress speaking to him and forced out a grin. Really...No weaknesses here. He wouldn't allow his displeasure with his own performance show. "Ma'am." A dazzling smile. That's what they would see. Ahem. "Is....everyone else okay?" It seemed like the polite thing to do. It had been a rough landing. No telling who'd been in their path...Of course, Summers had already asked...and everyone seemed just fine. Let it be noted, though, that he HAD asked. Also...Dylan was EYEING Oakey. EYEING HIM. There would be a mandatory Bro talk later...for reasons. |
Text Cut: Lex. hehe There was only one thing you do NOT do while your bestfriend is trying to get her way out of trouble. You do NOT laugh. It was just one thing and easy to remember, yet, Lex laughed. Cassia eyed her friend as she sat for a bit. "Glad I entertained you." Was all she said as she turned to the field again her lips pursed together. It annoyed the snake that she didn't know what annoyed her. And the crowds cheering for the Huffies didn't make it any easier. She felt like standing and shouting' Yeah we get they won!' But that wouldn't be a very good idea perhaps. So she didn't. And so it happened that Lex was there to take the blow of her sudden turn of mood. There was Dora too but the Ravenclaw needed to be happy those days for reasons. So back to you Lex. "Fake...." Cassia blinked before remembering the mission, "Well..." She started as her hand scratched her forehead. Cassia did get to touch the hair but she didn't get the time to test how strong it was held. "I think not." She said not because she was sure but because she felt like it. "But let's not talk about this here." She said dropping her voice to a whisper. "We'll continue discussing in a more secured place." Like somewhere that didn't contain all students and professors and other strangers. "Let's go." She said standing up and motioning for both her friends to come. This was NOT over. |
Dropping off Asher's Father feel free to chat, I'll catch you after Marshall Romalotti hadn't been to Hogwarts in years, so long in fact that he didn't want to count back and try to figure out how long it had been. He was too old and couldn't count that far back on his fingers and toes. He made sure that he would be at this match to see his son play. He seen him play alot when he was on the summer league a few years ago. But now he was here watching him play for Slytherin. He walked up the stands and found a seat right in the middle of the stands, yep this was the perfect spot, he remembered it from his Hogwarts time. |
Team Snakes! *woot* Juliet has to admit, she got up and went to the stands a little bit early than she had expected. Of course she wouldn't miss a Slytherin quidditch game, she's too biased and she will forever stay that way. She's hoping that today would be a winning day for the green team. Fingers cross! Making her way to one of the seats, Juliet spotted a few people on the stands. She put both of her hands into the pockets of her trench coat and sat down on one of the benches. This should be an exciting game. She couldn't wait for it to start already. |
Feeel free to snag my baby :) Clement was quite looking forward to the quidditch game. He was mostly going to cheer on Kat, and the rest of his house team of course. He had promised his fellow fifth year that he'd come and cheer for her, but hadn't actually gotten out yet. The homework was a little overwhelming. He maybe should've practiced writing in English before he'd gotten here. But he'd put aside today to come out and cheer her on. He'd even worn his green polo for her, so that he'd look the part. Wrapping this scarf around his neck a little more, he made his way up the stands, hopefully not being too early. He didn't wan to be super awkward on his own. So he was a bit early. But there were people around so it wasn't that bad. At least he would get a good seat where he'd hopefully be able to see Kat perfectly. He moved along the seats, before settling into one on the front one. Perfect viewing would occur from here. |
The weather was warming up, which was a nice change of pace. The redhead was kind of thrilled at the prospect of sitting in stands that did not want to freeze her bum straight off. Yay for somewhat of nicer weather then January. It still was cold- too cold in her opinion- but at least it was bearable. And the sweater did help loads. Climbing up through the stands and over a ton of first years, she finally settled into her usual seat on the stands and watched. Today was Ravenclaw versus Slytherin. And she was not biased, but seeing that Ravenclaw beat them last round she would not have minded if they, um, lost today. Although, they were both excellent teams... And she wasn't rooting for one over another. Nope, nope. Anyway, game time yet? |
First bit's for anyone! ^_^ And mentions of all ish. QUIDDITCH. DAY. GRIN. And he wasn't playing so there wasn't a chance of him being nervous or anything. Although, he didn't know what he'd do if the Snitch ended up coming near the Stands. Instinct would make him try and catch it which... wouldn't be something Aidan or Dylan would appreciate. Shaking his head, Alec made his way towards the Stands, a flask of hot chocolate clutched in his hand. Now... where to sit... The Stands were relatively empty which was WEIRD since there wasn't long to go before the match but... Alec wanted to sit with someone. Someone who maybe had some sweets or something to share and he could probably share his hot chocolate with them. Speaking of, where was his girlfriend? Quote:
BLINK. That dude looked REALLY familiar. Alec stopped in his tracks, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. He... did look really familiar. As if Alec had seen him around before with someone he knew. Someone like... "BRO!" ... Oops. "Erm... I mean..." Cough. "Hey, Mr Romalotti! Here to see Asher play?" Alec wandered up and sat down riiiiiiiiiiiiiight next to the older guy. There. Now they could watch and cheer for Asher together, yeah? Even if Alec did sort of want to support Aidan as well. Also. Looking around, there seemed to be a lot of people in here. Like a girl who looked to be around his age dressed in green -- had they met before? -- a guy who... he hadn't actually met before and... ... Was that too weird? |

Her worn out trainers thumped along the Stands as she searched for her Mama Selina. THERE. Alice dropped into her usual seat next to the Head Girl, staring at the Pitch. "Daddy Dylan will probably get maimed or something, 'cause he's the Seeker, right?" She wasn't looking forward to playing Slytherin, as the number one rule in the Beater's Bible was to take out the opposing team's Seeker. But she could leave that to Selina, right? She didn't mind hitting her best friend. "And since everyone here is SO loud, we're going to have to be even louder, y'know." But Alice could do loud. "GO SLYTHERIN!" Cue pompom wave. ".. and Mo and Beezus!" Because. Well. She could cheer for, like, two Claws, right? That was allowed? |
Quidditch Announcer Alistaire Firth was nervous. He had never commentated a Quidditch match before. WHY did I let James talk me into this again? And yet, here he was, dressed for a moderately cold February day and ready to take on this match. He settled himself in front of the magical microphone and surveyed the crowd. It was full as always. He took a sip of his Irn-Bru before noticing that the teams were already coming on to the field. Great Scot, time to start! Where was that line up page, again? Searching the pockets of his vest, he pulled out a crumpled piece of parchment with hastily scribbled names and positions. Then he began to speak into the microphone, unsure of whether or not he needed to do something to turn it on or not. Apparently not, he thought as his voice began to boom throughout the stadium. "Welcome ter Hogwarts Stadium fer the third Quidditch match o’ the year, Ravenclaw versus Slytherin!" He paused to let the fans scream their approval. "As th’ teams take the field, le’s meet an’ greet our lineups fer today! First for Ravenclaw, led by substitute Captain Beatrice Castell." He cleared his throat in preparation for having to speak loudly over the blue-and-bronze-clad supporters, but then didn't continue because someone whispered in his ear. "Oh, it appears we no longer are in need of a substitute Captain! The Eagles will be led today by their permanent Captain, Milton Shacklebolt. Now at Beater, I give you Fairfield, who is without her normal second due to illness today. A’ Chaser, Branxton, Castell, and Shacklebolt!" The roar of the crowd was distracting because of its volume. "The Eagle Keeper, Ashby, and the Seeker, Aidan Stone!" He allowed the blue-robed team a lap around the pitch before moving on to the Slytherin team. "An’ now fer the Slytherin side, who is furnishing a full team today. Beaters Romalotti and the one and only Sierra Greingoth! Chasers Kinsley, Odessa, and Turner! Keeper Hudson, and Seeker Montmorency! The Snakes are also Captained by Dylan Montmorency." When the players in green had finished their own circuit, he said, "An’ le’s not ferget our illustrious official, Professor Erin James!" Because really, she deserved recognition as well. Her job was just as hard—if not harder—than the students’. As the players took a few minutes to warm up, he snuck a quick swig of his Irn-Bru. All this talking in the cold air was going to dry out his throat if he wasn’t careful. While the fans waited for Professor James to give the signal, he added a bit of color commentary. "Now as mos’ of yeh remember, Ravenclaw is comin’ off a victory over Gryffindor in the first match of the year," he said somewhat ruefully (he didn’t like seeing his Lions get beat), "while the Snakes los’ their firs’ match ter Hufflepuff. The standings in the Cup are currently Hufflepuff in first with 180 points, Ravenclaw a close second with 160, Slytherin in third with 80, and Gryffindor in fourth with 20." This displeased him, as they were also in last for the House Cup. It looked like Erin was ready to start, so he took another sip of his drink quickly. "Le’ me take this time ter remind everyone that good sportsmanship is important both on an’ off th’ pitch. Please support your team in a positive manner." His duty done, he said, "Le’s plaaaaaay some Quidditch!" |
if anybody wants to snag her Christmas made her way up to the stands decked out in green and silver she knew who she was supporting and hoped to talk to some people while cheering the snakes on |
SPOILER!!: Alec Oh look, there was Summers. He was a nice kid and he was waving. Well, that was sweet. He was a good kid and a nice Quidditch player. 'Course that all aside, it didn't mean that when they played they would take it easy on his team. What? It WAS a game after all. And she was no sucker. But she did like him. So she return his wave and nodded nicely at him. Nice kid, nice kid. SPOILER!!: Biter And just as the game was about to start, she felt a lurch in the wood beside her and looked up to see Biter sitting there. She loved her Biter, so naturally she was thrilled to see the Brunette sitting beside her. With a grin on her face, she said with a little bit of sass, "Well, hello to you too, Biter." But she could tell that Alice was already engrossed in the game being that her eyes never left the pitch. Oh and did she mention how much she LOVED the Daddy Dylan thing. It was mean, but it cracked her up when people called him that. Made Dylan out to seem the big mush ball that he was under all that hair. Pretty much. So she wrapped her arm around Alice's shoulder and squeezed, "Probably if we're lucky," she joked. And she nodded at her second request. They would have to be rather loud. Although, she had faith in Alice's lung capacity. Oh, if only Cambridge was here... She was a loud child. And she tried really hard not to laugh at Alice's Pom poms. What! She was cute. Oh look... Gameskeeper was starting. Lovely. Lets get a move on folks. |
Guilty of having almost forgotten about today's match, Medea dropped what she was doing, which she was a little thankful for, and made her way down to the pitch. Grading homework could wait. There was some school spirit that needed to be shown down on the pitch today! Though, there was lack of spirit on her part, wearing her regular day to day clothes. She had a blue shirt though. Did that count? Nevertheless, the professor entered the stands, just in time too from the looks of it, moving towards the area she sat by last time, near the commentator. Oh? She had to look to see if it she wasn't just imagining the voice either. Alistaire really was commentating. How exciting! |
Quidditch Announcer Figuring everyone had heard the explanation, Ali declined to announce the penalty. As James released the Quaffle, Alistaire launched into action. "An' it's Slytherin ter start. Turner with the Quaffle, to Kinsley, stolen by Shacklebolt. Milton passes to Branxton, whose pass goes to Castell. Shoot, score!" Somewhere, a loud DING! sound could be heard as the blue and bronze supporters roared their approval. "Tha's the first score ter Ravenclaw, now outta the negatives for a zero-zero tie with tha' excellent shot past Hudson." He snatched a sip of his drink before continuing. "After th' firs' score, Hudson released the Quaffle back inter play." |
ALEC, you're in here as well. And the soooome for the Groundskeeper. Quote:
But the announcer had already started talking, so Alice tuned out Selina and the others for a moment. "HEY, Mister Groundskeeper man, I'll have you know that the Gryffindor team is the BEST one in this whole school, thank you very much. The points mean practically nothing. Hmph." So they could forget all about them and just give Gryffindor the Quidditch cup, mmk? She turned back to the game and the Head Girl. OH. LOOK. It was starting. And West was playing, too. More pompom waves. .. wait, Mo was a Chaser? This commentator guy was talking very fast, you know. Her simple mind couldn't keep up very well. |
Quidditch Announcer It seemed that Slytherin would not waste any time in trying to win back those points. "An' Hudson's pass is taken by Odessa. Snakes come out in the Hawkshead Attacking Formation," he said, remembering what he'd read up on last night. "Odessa passes to Kinsley, back ter Odessa with a reverse pass. Here comes the firs' test for Ravenclaw Keeper Dustin Ashby." He could feel the collective intake of breath from the green-robed students. "The shot, the SAVE BY ASHBY! Wha' a save by Dustin Ashby ter keep the game tied at zero to zero!" The roar of the Eagle fans was intense. "Ashby outlets back to his own team." |
Sophie was strangely quiet that day. She had gone to the stands by herself and also sat by herself. She wasn't really wearing anything that would show others who she was supporting, but she was snakes all the way that day! Especially because they were in third place, like Mr Firth had said. Poor Slytherins. Of course, Sophie would be pleased if Ravenclaw won, too, because of Beezus. Her friend always helped her a lot and she was forever grateful. So the Hufflepuff wouldn't be sad if the eagles won anyway. That was also why she didn't react that much to what was going on in the game. It would be alright if either team won, really. But still. It would be nicer if Slytherin won, in her humble opinion. Heh. |
Quidditch Announcer Ali chuckled as he noticed Ashby do a loop around his center hoop to let out some of his nerves. "As Ashby celebrates, he outle's to Branxton, pass fake ter Castell, Branxton keeps it, dodges an oncoming Odessa head butt... Someone NEEDS ter get tha' boy a helmet..." Hint hint, Hecate. Anyways... "Shacklebolt with the Quaffle now, passes to Castell in the scoring area, and her shot to the left goal hoop is GOOD! Castell gets Ravenclaw on th' board!" He pushed the lever underneath the Ravenclaw side and the small board reflected the new goal. "Ten-zero ter Ravenclaw!" |
She was late, yeah she was but that was because she stayed up in her Common Room for an extra long time trying to figure out whether she could be bothered with attending. She didn't particularly care about either of the teams that were playing. Vivi was gone so Ravenclaw was pretty bleh and she didn't like the Snakes in general. That being said, she was here because there were people on both teams that she decided she liked and for that reason she was here. This time she was pretty neutral, deciding to wear a red pullover just because. There weren't any ribbons this time either because again, she supported neither teams. She took a seat around people she knew and gave some general waves before turning to watch the game. "GO GUYS! YOU CAN DO IT!" She wouldn't be any more specific than that. |
Quidditch Announcer A small shiver went down Alistaire's spine, but he was just warming up from the announcing, so he mentally blocked out the cold. "An' Hudson retrieves the Quaffle, tossin' it back inter play to Turner." A streaking blur caught his eye. "Greingoth speeds past the' announcer's table. Tha' girl is fierce, Ravenclaw better watch out!" Meanwhile the Chasers were going at it. "I's Kinsley, Turner--OOOOOOHHHHH, tha's gonna hurt in the mornin'! Excellen' Bludger hit there by Fairfield of Ravenclaw, and Romalotti takes one to the gut." Best part of Quidditch, the Bludgers. "Kinsley shoots... KINSLEY SCORES! Deflected off of Ashby's hand! Excellent try there, Ashby almost had it." His attention was drawn to the Seekers. "Oh, the Seekers appear to be in hot pursuit! This may be the firs' Snitch o' the game!" He rose a fraction of an inch off of his chair in anticipation. |
