Jake made his way lazily to the History of Magic classroom, in no rush to get there. He was sort of in his own world, but he did notice all the other students heading the opposite way as him. His expression slowly turned to a frown.

When he got to the classroom, it made sense. Class was somewhere else. And since Jake had taken his time getting here... he'd better hurry to the Great Hall. With a sigh, he hitched his bag up on his shoulder and turned to head for the Great Hall.

History of Magical. Sore But he was here. And he was heading to class, there were people coming out of the classroom ahead, was class over? Well he would just go get his homework assignment and go on about is day.

No professor, did he leave before the other students left?

Oh, lesson in the great hall. Well then Okay. Great hall it was.

Dylan slowly made his way to History of Magic class. Professor Scabior had become sort of a role model to him...So, there was no way he'd miss it.

Stepping up to the door, the Slytherin eyed the note there and squinted. What was this about it being held in the Great Hall? Hmmmmm. More walking. Merlin, his legs hurt enough as it was. There just seemed to be SOOOOOOOOO much walking lately. Ughhhhhh.

With an exaggerated sigh, he turned and slowly made his way back down to where he'd just come from...eating breakfast.

This was the sort of thing that required a good warning. Probably a couple days in advance, too. Wasn't that the purpose of owl post and whatnots? So people could figure out when class was and know what to do in case of rescheduling. 'No excuses' said the notice.

No excuses?!

He hadn't exactly left them with much warning, had he? Maybe, had they known, November wouldn't be wandering with Eddie and Ezra to class so close to start? It's not like they were going to be late. At least, they weren't until the rescheduling.

Still looking at the notice, she frowned. "Someone could have warned us on our ways here," she remarked, hands upon her hips. "Letting us make it all the way here." She turned around, filling her cheeks with her breath before letting it go to puff out a stray lock of hair. "Wonder what happens if we're late."

Edita's was careful to match her steps to Ezra's shorter legs. A smirk tugged at the corner of her mouth and she elbowed his arm before spurting forward and grabbing November from behind by the shoulders. "You should send in a written complaint," egged on Happenstance, shaking the shorter girl slightly. "A detailed written complaint. They should give us at least a 78 hour long warning beforehand."

Edita wasn't sure how many days was seventy eight hours but it sounded reasonable enough.

"You talk a lot," Ezra remarked to November, not for the first time, and only half-listening to whatever it was she was saying. November did a lot of that, talking; she talked and talked and talked and sometimes Ezra wondered if she had mouths all over her anatomy because when she went on rants it always sounded like her voice was coming from different places, at once. It gave him a slight headache.

Ezra didn't think November actually knew what some of the words she used even meant, but she looked like the sort who cried easily, and he liked to think he was above making girls cry. Mostly because he had sisters, and he liked to tell himself that if he didn't make girls cry, other people would be considerate enough to spare his sisters, too.

He shuffled after the girls, rubbed his side, and yawned openly. "Are you part monkey, Happenstance?" His voice was sleepy. He watched her more or less cling to November, and yawned again. "Likely she'd get detention, and lose Ravenclaw some points," Ezra injected. He placed a freckled hand on November's shoulder, and smiled conspirationally, "You should do it, anyway, though. You'd be fighting for our rights, so I reckon it'd be worth it. Ravenclaw should thank you. In fact, I thank you in the name of Ravenclaw, beforehand."

November snorted mildly at Ezra. He spoke as if this was a new piece of information or something silly like that, when she wasn’t sure if he could make it a couple days without reminding her. She couldn’t help it! There were lots of words! They sort of flowed out like that!

As Eddie grabbed her, she jumped slightly. Sometimes the taller girl grew rambunctious and there had been an incident or two that had ended with tangled limbs and bodies toppled on the ground because Eddie grabbing her or pushing on her had bungled centers of gravity and whatnots. Not that November was not used to this.

She scratched along her jaw at Eddie’s offer. It certainly sounded reasonable enough. Somebody had to tell them how much this messed up things. How were they to be on time if they had to make it back to the Great Hall? Had the Professor forgotten how many stairs this castle had?

“Sounds right fair,” admitted November, her tone evasive. Her gaze flicked to Ezra, who pointed out the likelihood of detention. Her mouth tugged into a frown and she rocked on her heels, debating. It really wasn’t fair! Proper notice was only right and all. Still, she narrowed her eyes at him a little. “I don’t see you jumping at the opportunity,” she pointed out, lips pursed. “But I shall think on this. You are right. I would be doing a good favor, not only for Ravenclaw, but all of Hogwarts.” Slyly, she smiled and added, “Maybe I ought to add your names!” before hiking her bag on her shoulder and shuffling backwards, making her way for the stairway. “Sounds brilliant, yeah?”

Chris saw the note when he got to the History of Magic classroom, and shrugged. "Ah well," he thought. "Guess I'm walking elsewhere today!" He never minded life's little surprises; they kept him on his toes.

He started walking to the Great Hall, being in his fifth year he knew the school well enough to know he didn't have to run, but maybe walk a little more quickly.

Finally Christopher reached the Great Hall, and finding an empty seat he sat down, a little way away from any other students. He may know the school better than he did in his past years, but his fellow students faces didn't grow more familiar as the years went on...
