Aquatic Plant Nursery Banner by the lovely and amazing sweetpinkpixie. Greenhouse Six, which traditionally held aquatic flora, has undergone a makeover during the summer. Instead of its traditional buckets and ponds, this greenhouse now holds a number of large aquariums, varying in shape, size and depth. Much like these aquariums, the aquatic plants within it also vary in shape, size, colour and movement. You may notice that some aquariums appear to be empty, while others appear to be overgrown. |
Would someone like to find her? HMMMM Addy had quickly made her way straight to the greenhouses after her little show in the corridor with the ridiculous Prefect. She had no respect for someone that threw their weight around just trying to show off... What's more is she was just having a bad day. A bad year? Not fun times. Shoving her hands into her pockets she made her way to a tank containing Fairy Lights. She did love Fairy Lights. Her hand tightened around one of the letters she had hastily tucked away... tears sprang to her eyes and she REALLY wished she could make people understand why she was so angry right now. "It's like nobody gets me. No one understands why I speak my mind..." she muttered to the tank. BAH. She was now talking to aquatic plants. Awesome. |

As she walked through the greenhouse she saw someone else in there...Though she looked like she was crying...Or tearing up. Should she go over there?? She almost turned around but being her she walked over to her...And asked "Um..Are you okay?" She had no clue who the girl was but she knew if she was crying she would want someone asking her. |
Oh GREAT! Just what she needed was someone walking in on her talking to herself and crying. Turning with an apologetic smile she rubbed at her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Just got something in my eye. Like a twig or a branch or something," she said with a shrug. She had no intention of elaborating or telling the TRUTH to the Ravenclaw who was clearly younger than herself seeing as they were not dorm mates. "These fairy lights are awesome, no?" AWKWARD. |
For Erin XD Okay, the seventh year was curious and she blamed Bentley. After that very first lesson with the aquatic tank Selina was curious to explore it more. To take a closer look at all of the plants that were in there, especially since magical plants were extremely curious things. So she really wanted to spend some time there just exploring. ...Also, it was nice to have some quiet time. With her new responsibilities she was finding it harder and harder to have her own place to think. Her mind WAS sort of hectic as it was anyway. So running away to the greenhouses would be a nice place to clear her head and do some thinking, but when she walked into the greenhouses she was met with a Ravenclaw and Addy Oh bullocks. Throwing on a smile, she said, "Oh hello." |
And another person... well at least Addy didn't mind Selina being around so much as someone she had never spoken to before. Rubbing furiously at her watery eyes she gave Selina a small smile and a nod. "Hey how's it going? Just uh checking out the fairy lights." See, the tank was right in front of her. She turned toward it and tried to get herself together. After clearing the lump from her throat and drying herself up she turned back to face the pair before her. "Selina, you down here for Herbology work or something?" Casual convo to pass time until she could spill her guts to the tank some more? Or like... another person if she deemed them worthy. Heh. |

OH. Um, yeah no. Selina was NOT down here for Herbology work. In fact, she was down here to clear her head, but that was not something she was exactly going to tell Addy. She had to be totally available twenty-four seven for everyone who needed to talk to her being Head Girl and all, which usually meant no alone time for Selina. So throwing on the same grin from earlier she said, "Um yeah, totally. And you?" Hopefully she was good. Ahem. Although, her eyes WERE slightly blotchy. |
Addy nodded and turned her attention back to the tank in front of her. She didn't want to bother anyone with her issues... she had escaped down here after telling Beezus off... and well the bratty little Prefect deserved it, really. She was getting a little too big headed and needed to be brought back down to size. Mhm. And well... the PERSONAL things, too. "Me? I'm super. Never better." Yep. She peeked over her shoulder and shot the two a smile. Yep. Addy was AWESOME. Aside from the branch in her eye. Addy had the feeling Selina was lying about the homework thing... the way she spoke, but oh well. It was not her business really. "Nope. No homework. I was working with some people on extra credit, but I am over that. Came down here to look around." To get over her hissy fit and maybe re read the letters from her mom before she set them on fire, too. |
Well, honestly, this conversation could have won the world's most awkward conversation award. It seemed that Addy and Selina were both being disingenuine with each other, which did not bother Selina. She was not the type to air her dirty laundry ever. Her personal feelings and affairs were usually kept to herself, unless she needed to use something in her life to really stick it to someone who was irritating her. Then again, she wasn't really one for that ever since she had gotten Mortimer. Nice, useful, beautiful bat. "Nice, nice," Selina nodded. Yeah... never better. That phrase always set her teeth on edge. She had no idea why, but it usually followed with a snid smile or some nonsense, but luckily Addy had done none of that. Ruffling her own hair a bit, she said, "Extra credit? Oh what for?" As Head Girl she should have known what Addy was talking about, but she never said she was PERFECT at the job. Actually, she wasn't perfect at all, which always why she was confused as to WHY she had the badge, but she digressed. "And... its a good place to think for sure." That was why she was here. |
