The Entrance Hall Welcome to Hogwarts! You enter and leave the castle through two great oak front doors to stand in the majestic Entrance Hall. There are numerous doors and staircases leading off from the hall as well as the four house points hourglasses. filled with rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and amber gemstones. |
It was still raining outside as Anastasia clicked down from her quarters and into the entrance hall. What a dreary start to the first week of school as Headmistress... still, she wasn't complaining as long as no one trekked mud into As it was, the redhead only briefly glanced at her watch before she looked toward the hourglasses. Well, it was still early, so she would give the four a few minutes before she abandoned this silly tour altogether... |
*couldn't resist* Laura was running back into the castle after seeing the fake dementor, she was going to tell the first Professor available what she saw, she hadn't realised that she had muddy shoes on and she hadn't realised she was heading straight for the headmistress until she ran into someone. Laura looked up as she saw who she had bumped into. "Headmistress I'm soo sorry." Laura looked down at her shoes, wishing that the world would swallow her up, she had been soo focused on getting a Professor she hadn't been watching where she was going. |
Alexa had been out in the rain when she saw another student running like a crazy person into the building. It was that singing girl from the table. She decided with nothing better to she would just follow her and see what all the rushing was about. Maybe it would lead to something interesting. As she skipped into the entrance she noticed that she was leaving foot prints on the floor. Giggling she didn't realize anyone teachers or other adults were around. She skipped around in circles leaving more foot prints as she went. Finally she noticed that singing girl was talking to a red headed teacher. Hmmm that's the one that talked at the feast. So Alexa followed singing girl to listen to what was going on. |
Well. Maybe it DIDN'T pay to be early. Especially not when students from her "Hmmph," Annie sniped, eying the muddy girl head to toe as she took a large step back, "if you're so sorry, then why don't you clean up after yourself?" She swirled her wand and made a Muggle mop and bucket appear between her and the girl. "Get to work. You there, you can help her." She flicked her wand to the second Hufflepuff and suddenly the child's feet were covered in something other than mud. And in the meantime... Annie directed her wand at herself and quickly removed any traces of mud, lest the stain seep in. |

Alexa then listened to them talk, "Why would we clean this up don't you have house elves to do that?" she looked up at the headmistress for the answer, but wasn't expecting one at this school so far everytime Alexa asked a question she just got yelled about by the teachers. Then she rolled her eyes at singing girl, "It's called a mop, I've seen them on TV. What were you running for anyway? Was the rain scaring you?" Looking at the two Alexa just didn't understand what the big deal was about running and getting mud on a floor that magic could easily fix. |
"Yes, you COULD just use magic... but then, magic isn't exactly permitted in the corridors unless it's an emergency and it's an adult using it." She smirked at the girls, quite possibly having made half that rule up on the spot. "Besides that, you need to learn how to be responsible and how to clean up after yourselves, and trust me, the lesson will stick more if you do it by hand." One more peep out of them and they'd be losing house points and earning a detention, too. "I don't care about your opinions on the matter, girls," she got a little bit louder, "just get to WORK. NOW." The bucket with the mop in it hopped forward toward the first Hufflepuff, spilling some bubbles onto her feet. |
Laura looked at the Headmistress, she hadn't heard of that rule before but well she'd look it up after she'd finished her taking the mop she started to mop the floor until. Laura eyes glared at the younger Hufflepuff. "Nope there was something else out there and I was coming to tell a Professor." Laura smirked as she put the mop in the mop bucket and then slammed it down on the floor so water went flying in the other girls direction OOPS!! |
Alexa looked at the headmistress, "What lesson are we learning, how to be muggle janitors?" She just couldn't figure out if they were wizards why use muggle items. Muggle items were weird enough without using them. She didn't care about their opinions, why did teachers not care about the students at this school. It just all seemed weird to Alexa, but then singing girl caught her attention and she turned, "What was it.. and here is the headmistress, I think she is better then just any teacher, right? Tell her what was out there." but before she could see if the singing girl would tell, water came flying at her. "HEY" she stomped towards the bucket and grabbed the mop, "Keep your muggle items to yourself." she grinned and mopped singing girls legs to make them all wet. |
"My dear, it's so generous of you to offer a tour. I'm certain your hands are full with students and professor needs and such... things." Cassandra had been visiting around the castle, and she approached Anastasia from the staircase. She didn't need a tour. And neither did Anj. It was nice of her to offer, though. "Perhaps the highlights would be nice." |
"Speak for yourself Cassandra," He said taking liberty by calling her by her given name, "I for one want to see the Slytherin Dungeons, the Quidditch pitch, the room of requirement, and every portrait in this place!" They must all remember him! |
Nothing irritated Anastasia more than children who thought they a) knew everything and b) were entitled to anything. And this second Hufflepuff fell into BOTH categories. Anastasia would have click-clacked over to her and slapped a few spells onto her had the girl not been muddy and standing near a mop. So instead, she addressed the one known as Alexa in the same obnoxious tone the girl used to sass her. "How about... you stop talking back to your professors and learn to respect your elders, hmm? Why can't you follow directions? Why is it so hard for you to learn clean up after yourself? Do you think you own this castle? Do you not think that someone might slip and fall because of your muddy mess? Would you like to be responsible for a lawsuit on the school? How would you feel about being guilty for the death of one of your classmates? Are you an incredibly lazy person? Is that why you can't clean up this mess with a simple, already-provided mop? Or do you just like asking very, very stupid questions????" She took a breath and just then heard the approach of the governors behind her. But she wasn't done with these 'Puffs yet. "That will be five points from you for being so incredibly rude and disrespectful. If this mess isn't cleaned up by the time my tour with the Board of Governors is over, you'll be in detention until Christmas." At the least. "And YOU," she whirled on Laura, "are responsible for making certain she gets the job done WITHOUT making an even BIGGER mess out of the mop water." There. Now she could speak to Rae and Amoroso. Anastasia turned and adjusted her jacket, putting on a smile just for President. "Yes, just the highlights, of course.... and whatever you wish to see, Mr. Amoroso . I'm sure you're both still familiar with the castle. You know you're welcome to visit anytime." |
Quote:
|
He listened to the headmistress and his eyes got wide. "You realize I lost more points that I ever gained while I was back in school?" He said He could come back by himself later? SCORE! "Really? Then the highlights are fine, Headmistress. I'll do the rest later." |
Alexa just stood looking at the Headmistress, her question were not stupid. They were just questions. She knew how to clean up after herself, but she never thought she would have to do it muggle style in a castle that she was suppose to be allowed to use magic. Standing without saying a word she just boiled over these thoughts. She opened her mouth to start asking more questions, but the mean redhead was already after singing girl. No one would die over footprints, was she just being silly, really??? Alexa looked at the mop in her hands and singing girls wet legs and giggled. Then saw two other adults, great more teacher people to start being mean to children. Looking at singing girl as she took the mop and started being bossy, Alexa glared and then looked back at the headmistress, "Ummm she made footprints that could kill people too.. Doesn't she have to mop as well??" Why was Alexa going to have to clean up all the mess. Some of these footprint were not hers. Then looking at singing girl, "This is not just my mess, you are cleaning as well and if you think your putting a bucket of water on me you have another thing coming." with this Alexa stuck her tongue out at the singing girl. |
For comedic relief... Sutton was positively IRKED. That boy... that boy who pretended to be a dementor-thing had scared her... and morbidly embarrassed her in front of that older boy. Not.okay. He would pay, oh yes, he most certainly would. She wasn't sure how or who would help her, but this prankster would not get away without feeling the wrath of vengeance. In a dark mood, she quickly made her way through the Entrance Hall, heading for the Common Room. There seemed to be a crowd... and lots of yelling... and ... Hufflepuffs getting in trouble?! An internal groan reverberated around her entire body. Deciding she could maybe help in some way, she started walking toward them. As she began to open her mouth, though, she slipped on a muddy footprint on the floor! Lurching forward, trying to regain her balance, she slipped on several more footprints before instinctively reaching out toward one of the other Hufflepuff girls... the one who had been refusing to clean up the footprints... but rather than the girl being an aid to gaining her balance, Sutton accidentally pulled her down, right toward the bucket of mop water. And then Sutton fell on the ground, flat on her back, banging her head on the hard floor. |
As Alexa waited for the headmistress to tell the singing girl she had to help, because these were HER footprints as well. She saw another girl coming towards them. Oh maybe this girl would want to help them mop. Alexa thought she could make it look fun and the girl might want to join in, but before she could even think about it the girl slipped and started to fall. Alexa just stood and watched not being able to take her eyes off of her. Then she was on the floor with the girl and her hand hit the bucket as she went down and the bucket of water went flying all over singing girl. Alexa started laughing while on the floor seeing the water all over bossy singing girl. She looked at the other girl who had fallen, "ummm Hi... Thanks for dropping in." she laughed towards the girl, "no seriously ummm are you okay?" usually what people asked in these situations, right? Looking back at the other girl with the water all over her Alexa started to laugh again. |
Sutton here as well. Quote:
Laura then grabbed hold of the broom and then put it in Alexa hand. "I'll give you too the count of three to start cleaning this hallway, or there will be trouble." Yeah that was right no more miss nice girl now, Laura wanted to go and get changed and then have something to eat and this girl was stopping her from doing it. Laura then turned to the girl that had fallen. "Are you okay?" Laura asked. "No bones broken or anything like that?" Laura really hoped that nothing was broken. "Do you think you need to see a Healer?" Laura asked, she would take her there now but she wasn't going to leave until Alexa cleaned the hallway. |

"Mr. Amoroso..." She tucked her arm through his and tugged him along with her. "Let's try to avoid embarrassing our young friends if we can. I'm sure neither of us do any favors to the young people we so love and admire by making a spectacle of them." As in... he should take a page from her book and stop fawning over the poor Minister's daughter. |
The Friar was gliding around the corridors, when he heard anxious voices. Voices that belonged to members of his house. Of arguing. Of disputes. And rudeness. Of all virtues that sounded as if they belonged to Salazar's house, NOT the wondrous Helga. Keeping his good demeanor up, he shook his head at the Hufflepuffs. "Hello, there, young Hufflepuffs! Do we have a problem?" |
and Sutton... Quote:

just to finish off my last post Laura had suddenly remember something, the water was a hazard and Laura didn't want anyone else getting hurt, she pointed her wand at the water on the floor and said "Tergeo!" she made sure she missed all the muddy footprints that was still on the floor she wasn't going to let Alexa think that she didn't have to clean up the mess, she just hoped the Headmistress didn't mind her using the spell in front of the VIP's. Err... everyone... It was dark, so very dark... and cold... and wet. There were voices around her, but it sounded like they were talking to her underwater. Maybe that is why it's so wet... Sutton thought to herself. She felt a hand on her shoulder. It was warm, but that didn't make sense because... they were underwater... Wait! If they were underwater, how could she breathe?! Oh no! She couldn't! She couldn't breathe underwater!! In a panic, Sutton attempted to open her eyes and blink away the foggy blackness in her head. As hard as she tried, though, there was still a vague, opaque haze in front of her eyes... Blink.Blink. Her eyes traveled upward and realized that it wasn't a haze, but a ghost-like figure of a man. A ghost. "Am I... d-dead...?" Sutton asked as she gulped hard, looking at the ghostly man. In her peripheral vision, she saw red. Bright red. Shifting her eyes a little, she saw that it was red hair framing the lovely face of... Now Sutton couldn't breathe FOR REAL. It was the headmistress, and here she was... sprawled on the floor. She quickly sat up, looking to the lovely woman. "Headmistress! I am so sorry! I was just..." overcome with dizziness, her eyes rolled, and she closed her eyes, laying back down. "I saw that they seemed to be getting in trouble, and I wanted to help them not be in trouble because I don't want people to get in trouble. People should be nice to everyone," she rambled, her eyes still closed against the throbbing pain in the back of her head. |

Yes, the Friar heard the older girl, but he was NOT naive enough to believe that there was NO PROBLEM. "Enough!" "Listen up, now and clear. Hufflepuffs DO NOT blame each other. It does NOT matter who's footprints they were or who made who slip. Now I suggest, ALL of you, clean up this mess and then SKEDADDLE off to class before I go find a Professor." Yes, the Friar might be dead, but that didn't stop him from knowing Hufflepuffs and wanting the best for his and Helga's house. |
The Bunz was torn, suddenly, torn and frozen. She was torn between speaking to the Board of Governors and disciplining the students; torn between ignoring the splash!fight going on there and the injured girl suffering as a result of it; and frozen at the sight of her House ghost swooping in all unexpected-like. Quote:
"Are you okay?" she asked the girl quietly. "Try to sit up if you can... keep your eyes closed, that can help..." But yes, the poor thing really did seem confused if she thought everyone should be nice to everyone.... Annie shot a glare at the girl who was responsible for all this. "See what your muddy footprints caused?" she addressed the Hufflepuff (Alexa). "Your OWN HOUSEMATE nearly DIED." But, once again, the Bunz had been proven RIGHT. |
Tara Logan had thought about heading down to the kitchens and seeing the House Elves; they fascinated him and the thought of a snack was rather tempting. However, Ness, Harlan, and Mason wouldn't be there and their company was needed. They weren't in the Common Room, so he was heading up to see if they were hanging out somewhere else. Reaching the Entrance Hall, he spotted a small group of people assembled. One of these people was a girl who was lying on the floor. She also looked a lot like Sutton. Slightly worried now, he approached. "Sutton? Are you okay?" He didn't pay attention to the other people and hoped his friend was okay. |
Whit, The Bunz, Liam, et al Still laying in the floor, her eyes pressed tight, Sutton softly shook her head side to side to say that she shouldn't sit up, but then she heard a familiar voice that filled her with warm fuzzies and brought back some sense to her confused and throbbing head. Her eyes fluttering back open, she searched the worried faces around her and found him, "Logan?" Yep, she was dead. Otherwise, why would Logan conveniently show up next to her just when she needed him? Wait, the Headmistress had said ALMOST died, so she wasn't actually dead. Logan was just... convenient. Yes... that was... making no sense in her head right now, but nothing did. "I think I'm fine, Headmistress, really." She said with a smile as she made another attempt to sit up. Turning to the other Hufflepuff girls standing there, she asked, "Do you want me to help?" And then, losing her balance... while still sitting somehow, she fell over, right into Logan. With a weak attempt at a smile and laugh through her dizziness, "See, Logan, this is why you always have to be here when I fall... so you can catch me..." Her eyes began to flutter closed again as the room swam. |

Laura smiled at Sutton. "Are you okay?" Laura asked, she was still looking at Alexa wondering if the girl would see sence and clean up her footprints, she just was going to wait to see if the Headmistress agreed that she should be taken to the hospital wing. |
running really late for work so this has to be quick..sorry.. Alexa looked at the girl as she acted as if she couldn't get up and then couldn't help but smile as she thought she was dead from seeing the ghost. "Your alive, you just fell on someones footprints." Yes she said someones and looked at Laura, she was not the only one with muddy feet here and she was not the only one that had caused this mess, even though the other girl thought she could get away with only cleaning a few and blaming the rest on Alexa. Looking at the ghost she turned, this was not just her fault, Laura started all of this by running in the Entrance Hall, at least when she followed she didn't run it was more of a skip. Then the headmistress was back and looking at her for blame again, "Headmistress these are not just my footprints, Laura made them as well." she was not taking all the blame, she would take some, but still not all. Then that awful Laura started talking again and Alexa went white, "I am not going to that Healer, she is...." mean, evil, nuts, hates children.. Alexa could have went on, but it wasn't worth it. She got up and ripped the mop out of Laura's hands nice and hard hitting her legs again with the end. "I'll mop this bloody floor and get BOTH our footprints, you can take her to the healer." There was no way she was going to that woman, she would rather sit in detention or mop the entire school the go to see that woman. |
"WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" Came the gleeful tones of Peeves as he slid down the banister of the grand staircase leading into the Entrance Hall. And as he got to the end of it, he launched himself up into the air and floated above a group of students and the new Headmistress. "Ooooooh what do we have here?" He cackled as he did a somersault in mid air and then hung upside down looking at the people below. What mischief could he get up to? Oh and look, there was Fatty Friar! Peeves swooped down and hovered in front of the ghost. "Oh my. Oh my, the puffy puffers are in trouble again." With another evil sounding cackle, Peeves did a back flip, picked up the bucket of soapy water and up ended it onto the young Hufflepuff girl's (Bazinga) head. |
Enter the Grey Lady Having heard rumors about special visitors in the castle, the Grey Lady floated through the halls following the rumor trail until finally she floated through the right wall and came up behind the group of guests. And just in time as well, the dreaded Peeves was causing his usual issues. With a cock of her left eyebrow, she floated a little ways from the now soaked Hufflepuffs almost as if she was afraid to get wet...unlikely since she was a ghost. "Peeves!" she said in a very stern voice, "Why don't you go chase rats in the dungeons or something and leave our esteemed guests alone." she said as she motioned towards the group of important guests before glaring at him with a look of pure hatred. |
"Oh, Cassandra. I'm not making a spectacle of her... I gave my god daughter a little attention. I'm not all over her... Plus my son isn't around." Ian looked around and the ghosts were coming out. "Friar! Peeves!" Then he smirked, "My Lady," he said and bowed to her. "I've missed you most..." He waggled his eyebrows. |
not quoting the scary spirit things Quote:
She would continue to ignore the girls. Quote:
"Thank you for offering to do that, but you really only need to see the Healer if she," the redhead gestured toward Sutton, "wants to go. Otherwise... just get this mess cleaned up." She shot a smirk toward the girl who had been dunked by Peeves and trotted up the steps to the waiting Governors. "Mr. Amoroso, Mrs. Branxton," she put a hand on each of theirs' backs, "let's get started, shall we? Mr. Lagerty and Ms...... Lainey can catch up later." |
Darn computer wouldn't open SS last night at all... boo Quote:
Quote:
Listening to the lady she looked back at the ghost who dumped water on her, "Your name is Peeves? Where did that name come from?" Her curiosity taking over from the ghost and forgetting about bossy Laura and then she noticed the Headmistress leaving. Well then...people just seemed weird, were all people like this... being at home with her parents all the time didn't give her much chance to see if people reacted so emotionally at one point then totally normal the next. Turning her attention back to the three ghost she looked at the nice one she had met at the feast, "Friar sir... shouldn't Peeves clean up all this water since he is the one that dumped it on the floor. If someone could fall on my little footprints, and her big footprints" pointing at bossy Laura, "They will sure get hurt worse from Peeves bucket of water." it seemed appropriate if she had to clean her mess he needed to clean his, right... |
Everyone Opening her eyes once again, she saw there were more ghosts there now. She hadn't seen ANY ghosts since she'd been at Hogwarts, and now there were THREE all in one place? And the angry girl was yelling again, and the bossy girl wanted to take her to the healer...? Sutton was so confused. Looking up at Logan for a second with a slightly pleading look, she turned back to Headmistress with a smile. "I'll be okay!" she said brightly. "If I need to go to the healer, it would seem I am more than looked after. We're Hufflepuffs! That means we stick together... look out for each other, CARE about each other, right," Sutton continued, giving a very pointed look to the two girls, one of whom was now very wet and talking to the ghosts. Turning her attention on the other grown-ups, she gave an apologetic look and said, "I'm very sorry to have delayed you all! I hope you enjoy your tour!" Then, after a bright smile to the Fat Friar to hopefully instill some hope back into the house for him, Sutton then turned back to Logan and held out her hand. In a quiet voice, she asked, "Do you think you can help me up.... just incase?" If she was honest, she was still a little dizzy, but hopefully that would go away in a little bit. |
Everyone Laura looked up just in time to see Alexa get a bucket of water thrown on her and she had to hide her giggles because otherwise the Headmistress wouldn't be happy with her. "Right you are Headmistress." Laura smiled. "I'll make sure this place gets cleaned up." "Peeves." Laura pointed her hands at the ghost. "I know your a ghost an all but you should put the bucket back where you got it from, because someone might be looking for it." Laura wasn't in the moods for arguing. "And come on Alexa." Laura turned to her. "We need to get this floor cleaned, and stop splashing water on my legs." Laura was getting angry with this girl now. |
Laughing uncontrollably Peeves continued to fly around the heads of the puffy puffers. "Shouldn't Peeves clean up the water..." he mocked as he flew through the whiny puffy kid (Bazinga). Still circling he continued to taunt the students. "Fatty there isn't going to help you out. I wouldn't waste my time on him if I were you, he's to fat to do anything." Swooping down on the obnoxious puffy puffer (Harry174) he pointed his finger back at her. "PUFFER! I know you are an idiot and all, but you should put that mop where your mouth is." With that he took the mop and put the wet end of it in the puffy ones face. Zooming away he left the mop hanging on her head. |
Quote:
"Very well, Headmistress Truebridge, lead the way." he told her and then added "Where are we going first? Not the Great Hall, we were there during the feast." |
Alexa was not getting upset with this ghost, who did he think he was mocking her. She wanted to throw water at him, but did it really matter being that he was a ghost. Could ghost get wet? Would they even feel it go through them? She went to open her mouth but the darn thing started again. She watched as the mop went on top of bossy Laura's head. She couldn't hold in her laughter, okay maybe this ghost wasn't such an annoying thing after all. At least he treated everyone with the same annoyance, bu then he was gone. "Really leaving us with your mess. At least we stayed and didn't run away." she yelled after him, but thought he did have the better plan maybe next time a mean adult started on her she would just run away. Maybe... this ghost could teach her somethings about this castle. Shaking her head she decided to worry about that later, looking back at Laura she still laughed, "Well then now that your clean and the adults are gone, think we could just use our wands and get this over with so we can get out of this stupid room and away from each other." she wanted nothing more then be far away from Laura. |
Quote:
Nodding at her question, he held his hands out for her so that he could help her to her feet. Hopefully the healer wouldn't be needed. |
Quote:
Obviously these girls had never been Muggles. Without a word, she handed the mop back to Laura, grabbed Logan's hand, and headed to the Common Room. |
Laura was walking alone, she was having loads of fun today, being good was actually quite rewarding and she was starting to be really enjoy reading, she was going to go to the Library soon and take out a book, she hadn't done that before but maybe now was the time, she was really annoyed though that people were saying she was going soft, she wasn't going soft she was just growing up. |
Quote:
With a heavy sigh she dragged herself into the entrance hall and thought of heading up to the common room. She might as well had seeing as there was nothing to-- HEY!!! "You're that stupid girl from the train aren't you?" She said to the hufflepuff that had already entered the hall. Yup. She would never forget her. Stupid people who cried over love were very hard to forget. |
Quote:
Laura decided she was going to be friendly. "I know what it's like being small, I used to call people Gaints, because they were so tall, but I'm starting to grow now." Laura smiled at the girl. "Anyway I'm Laura Hyde." Laura hadn't told the girl her name yet had she. |
Quote:
Seriously?! Hadn't she just shouted a statement? Surely that would have made it obvious that she was standing right there and didn't want to be run into. Gosh, leave it to the older students to just ignore what was infront of them and not even care. "I was watching where I was going, that's how I saw you." Stupid, stupid, stupid, older kid. No wonder she didn't like them very much! Well the girl seemed to calm down after a bit so she did too-- WHAAA??? "I am not little!" She protested indignantly after hearing the patronizing undertone. "In fact I grew two whole centimetres before coming here and I'm suuuure I've grown more!" Hmph! In her mind Lex was big, very big and unafraid of anything! "I'm Alexa." She muttered in response, yeah, she would be civil because the girl was being civil. |
Quote:

Quote:
Was this girl listening to anything that Lex had just said. "I said I'm not short." She repeated...almost patiently as she looked up at the girl. Maintain the smile Lex. All she had to do was keep calm. The only reason she was in here was so she could make her way up to her common room and enjoy a few chocolate frogs. She had been saving them for dinner but after the day she'd had she figured she could have just one...only one...yeah...no more than one... Really? "I already told you, I didn't run into you, you ran into me. Merlin are all you older students so stupid?" She wouldn't even return the social compliment because so far she didn't find it a pleasure to meet this girl. |
Quote:

Quote:
Merlin, if there was one thing Lex hated it was a patronizing smile. It just gave her the impression that she wasn't being taken seriously. Someone had to start taking her seriously in this school! Honestly, why did they all think they could dismiss her or do whatever they wanted without caring?! She was a person too! HUH?? "I'm not gonna apologize to you! I was standing right here when you ran into me! And for the last time stop calling me small." At least she didn't yell the last part. See? She could calm down too. WHAAAAAAAT?! Until she heard that. "I'm not gonna respect people like you, being older doesn't mean you automatically get my respect! Therefore I can call you stupid if I want to and you in particular are VERY stupid because you were crying over a boy." So there! Stupid, stupid. |
Quote:
Laura looked at Alexa. "Being older means you should treat me with the respect I deserve, I was minding my own business when you bumped into me and called me stupid." Laura sighed. "Which is something I'm not." Laura was doing her best to stay calm, she was now counting to 10 after the girl called her stupid about crying over a boy. |
Quote:
Stupid and hard of hearing? That had to be the worst combination ever!!! "Look girly, I'm not gonna apologize for something that wasn't my fault. Just because your older doesn't mean you get to tell me what to do then expect me to actually do it." If she didn't do what Kurumi said half the time then what made this girl think she would have any luck--especially when this really wasn't her fault! "Nuh-uh." She protested stubbornly. "Being older just means getting stupider and liking boys." YUCK! "And anyway you are. Why would you cry over a boy? It's not like he bought you candy everyday." As she had recently found out that boyfriends did not in fact give you candy but rather they did nothing of value. Such a waste. |
Quote:
Laura sighed. "Boys are fun to be around sometimes." Laura smiled. "Well what does that have to do with anything, you don't hang around people to get candy, you hang around people because they are your friend and you want to spend time with them." Didn't this girl know anything about real life. |
Quote:
Hmmmm, she would have disagreed on that but then she was good friends with her neighbour and her former classmate, though she would answer the next question. "It has everything to do with things! What good's a boyfriend if he can't get you candy? I hang out with everyone and they don't go around giving me candy, if he's my boyfriend then shouldn't he try to be different from everyone else? Yes. He should." Uh huh, she answered her own question so Laura wouldn't have a chance to give a stupid answer. "That being the case he should get me candy." Yup. Prefectly logical. |
Quote:
Laura listened to Alexa. "A boyfriend is there for someone to talk too, not for them to give you candy that is not how it works." Laura sighed, didn't Alexa know anything. "They are there for you to walk around with and have fun with, not just for them to give you candy." Laura really hoped that Alexa would learn to respect her elders. |
Quote:
There. And now she was calm. Sort of. "Look." Small glare. "I'm trying to be a good girl right now--really I am and you know why?--because you're not worth getting in trouble over but you should leave my parents out of this." No one was allowed to say stuff about them because they were hers and no one else's. "If you don't knock it off I'm gonna do something you'll regret." And she meant that. |

Not very good at following instructions either. Jeez, this girl was worst then her! Lex rolled her eyes. "What's wrong with you? Did someone stick some twigs in your ears or were you born too stupid to follow simply instructions." Her parents were a very touchy subject and while she could behave perfectly civil when people brought them up she didn't promise that much when people were being rude about it. Merlin, this girl wasn't going to make it very easy for her was she? This one surely needed to be taught a lesson. She thought back to the other night when the Headmistress had stolen her wand. That had been quite the torture. Hmmm...leaning over she snatched the girl's wand from it's holding on her side and held it up for her to see. "I don't think that stupid people like you should be allowed to carry around wands." And that was the truth. She would get it back when she could prove that she had some amount of intelligence. |
Quote:
O_________________________________________________ ____O Laura was angry now had the girl just took her wand. "Give me my wand back now." Laura really wanted her wand back, she was nearly on the verge of tears. "That wand is special." Laura wanted it back. "Short cake, give me my wand back now." Yeah Laura was calling Lexi short but she had a reason she was being provoked. |
Quote:
"Why?" She wasn't just going to hand it back to her. Wasn't she listening when she told her that stupid people shouldn't have wands? She was being perfectly clear afterall and she hadn't stuttered even once! "You'll get it back when you grow a brain." And not a moment before then. Nope. "Merlin are those tears I see on the horizon? Keep that up and I might just break this thing." But only to teach her that crying for everything was foolish and unnecessary. VERY unnecessary. This all went back to the girl stupidly crying over a boy. "Can't you toughen up a bit?" She hated to see people cry over nothing. Her grip tightened on the wand and she gritted her teeth. "Don't call me that." |
Quote:
Laura felt the tears coming. "The wand is special." Laura tried to stop the tears coming out but couldn't. "I want it back now." Laura stamped her foot on the floor. "Why should I toughen up, I don't want to be crazy like you are." Laura looked at Lex, yeah that right she was calling the other girl crazy. |
Quote:
Lex sighed heavily. "I'm not cra--okay maybe I am--but that has nothing to do with being tough!" She shook her head at the shallow mind of the older kid before tapping the wand against her palm a few times. "It's kinda light...doesn't feel very dense...probably easily breakable like it's owner." Yup. Lex was gonna toughen her up even if it took all day! |
Quote:
"You stole my wand, so that make you a thief." Laura stamped her foot. "I WANT MY WAND BACK THIS INSTANCE." Laura screamed at the girl, she was really worried about her wand. "That wand has been with me since my first year, we've done everything together." Laura wanted it back. "DON'T YOU DARE THREATEN MY WAND." Laura cried as she tried to hold back the tears but she wasn't succeeding her wand was special to her and this girl was threatening to break it. "YOU REALLY ARE CRAZY AREN'T YOU." Laura snapped at the girl. "It's not yours so give me it back now shortie!" Laura wasn't in the mood for this now, the girl had really wound her up. |
Quote:
Meeeehhhhh. It didn't make a difference because she was still crying. How hard was it to not cry? Didn't it occur to her that the sooner the water works ended was the sooner she'd be on her way to getting it back. Stupid people really were stupid, weren't they? SIGH. Lex rolled her eyes. "Quit with the crying will ya? It's annoying and it won't get you anywhere." See, if she was doing that whole flailing thing then she might have considered giving it back to her for being amusing but all she was doing was shouting and crying; not very amusing, more like annoying. "Don't you dare threaten my wand." Alexa mocked in a high pitched voice of mockery. "If you want it back, stop being an idiot and do something about it." And of course Lex tuned out the last part. She didn't care that the girl called her crazy. "That didn't bother me when my old guidance counsellor told me and it won't bother me when you say it either." |
Quote:
Laura couldn't believe she was letting Lexi get to her like this but well she was. "GIVE ME MY WAND NOW!!!!!!!!!!" Laura was getting to the point of exploding her patient with this girl was running thin, she was still crying and she was really upset about her wand, it meant the word to her and she had taken good care of it. "Don't mock me you shortie pie." Laura snapped at the girl, she was counting to 50 now just to stay calm, she really wasn't sure if she could keep the temper that was starting to boil over in control, she was hoping she would she didn't want to let her sister down but at the minute this firstie was pushing the wrong buttons. "MY WAND IF YOU PLEASE!" Laura held out her hand waiting for her wand. |
Quote:
"How many times are you gonna tell me to give you your wand before you realize I'm not gonna?" Just a question because this girl was annoying her with her reptition. Clearly if she had any plans of handing her her wand she would have done so by now. A spitefully sweet smile swept across her face when she saw just how annoyed she had made her. Laura's expression was priceless; it reminded her of all the times she would bother Amanda and those times she always won so yes, she would let that other short comment slide because why? Oh yeah--she had the upper hand. "No!" She said defiantly as she took yet another step back. Shouting wasn't going to work. Alexa Cambridge wasn't afraid of anything |
Quote:
Laura looked at Alexa. "I know you have a peanut for a brain but i'll tell you now, GIVE ME MY WAND BACK THIS SECOND!!!!!!!!!!" Laura held out her hand for her wand again. "I have other places to be." Yeah she had places to be, she wanted to be somewhere where this girl wasn't, then the girl said no. "I'll tell you again cupcake, GIVE ME MY WAND!!!!!" |
Quote:
Why was she still saying the same thing over and over?? It was sooooo not getting her anywhere. Then there was the fact that she was still all teary eyed for no reason. "Shouting won't get you anywhere, especially when you shout the same thing over and over again." She said, scowling over at her. -_____- "Neither will hurling insults." She continued when the girl tried insulting her intelligence. It wasn't nearly as impressive as when the headmistress it had done it. Noooo, when the Headmistress called her dumb she did it in a way that made her have to wonder whether or not she was being insulted. Now that was how you insulted someone. As luck would have it Lex was getting tired of the same voice droning on about the same thing repetitively. She sighed openly at the girl. "I'm bored of you now, you're like those muggle action figures who can't say more than few lines and I get tired of those easily." She gave a shrug of her shoulders then snapped the wand in two and threw both ends to the floor. "There's your wand." She told her, now walking away to find something more entertaining. Wasn't there anything interesting for an 11 year old to do?! |
Quote:
|
Quote:
So now she would walk off and find something more entertaining to-- STOP. Lex turned slowly to the stupid girl that was now wandless. "Excuse me? I'm not afraid of anything!" She declared indignantly. "Especially not a cry baby like you. All you do is cry. I take your wand, you cry, I threaten to break it, you cry. I suppose now that it's broken you'll start crying again." This girl had some nerve! Alexa Cambridge feared nothing "And I'm not a coward, I'm not running away; I'm just bored of you, like I said earlier." She had forgotten how slow this girl was. Maybe she should have spoken slower. Of course she wouldn't waste anymore time on someone that didn't interest her so she turned to walk away again. She wasn't worth blowing up over. |
Anya, who was in the mood for some good ole quality time outside, stopped dead in her tracks when she heard some arguing. What in the name of -- ? Was that Laura? With some half pint lion? What on earth were they yelling about?! "...everything alright?" she asked casually stepping between them. Because it looked like something was about to go down. O_O Was that a wand on the ground? She didn't even know that those could break. |
Quote:
Laura looked at her friend and then gave Anya a hug. "I wonder if wands can be mended?" Laura had no idea if they could or not but well she would see, maybe a Professor could mend it or maybe if she used some strong glue, she could glue it back together. |
Quote:
Now there was someone else. Once again Lex turned to face the people and found that it was that Gryffindor that had kissed her boyfriend during tryouts...this didn't put her very high on Lex's list of normal people. Meh. At least she wasn't shouting or crying like the annoying one over there. "Yeah, everything looks fine to me." She repiled with a small shrug. There was no big deal. She had taught Laura a valuable lesson today. Crying. Solved. NOTHING....unless you were her. In fact she felt proud that she could be the one to teach her that. Quote:
Ah hah. Hugging meant they knew each other which meant they would be on each other's side. This meant there was no point in telling her side of the story where Laura bumped into her then wanted her to say sorry--which she still wasn't gonna do because it wasn't her fault. Scowl. "For the last time, I'm not afraid of anything!!" Almost. "And there you go, you just said it could be fixed." Even if she didn't say so in so many words it was implied. |

"Oh so that's what makes me a coward then?!" Alexa half screamed at the girl who just didn't seem to be getting it. "Well then let me change that!" And with that she stalked right up to her until she was only standing a few centimetres from her. "This close enough for you?" Stupid girl, she wasn't afraid and she was going to prove it. "And guess what, I'm standing right here, you're standing right there and your wand is still broken." Yeah, she was good at this taunting thing; it was amazing what years of practice and a little spoiling could do. Heh. Afraid of Laura? Not a chance. "And if you go around telling people that then I'll learn the spell to get that tongue of yours stuck to the roof of your mouth." And she meant that whole-heartedly. It was more a promise than a threat. Quote:
But wait...this one actually bothered to ask what was wrong. She might have answered her but then Laura started talking again. Quote:
Talking all meek like and acting like she cared whether or not she actually got in trouble. Sickening. If anything Lex should have been the one being all whiny. Once again she had fallen victim to a stupid older kid. She watched her show the girl her wand and ask if it could be mended. Her eyes narrowed a bit in concentration. She wanted to break it a few more times but that would have looked very good on her so she kept her hands to herself. Quote:
Now she could tell her side of the story before the girl could corrupt the Prefect. "Right, well I was walking through here and I called to her, like I shouted and everything, then she bumped into me and told me I should watch where I'm going and should apologize." She paused for a moment and glared at Laura. Yes. It was her fault and Lex wouldn't pretend otherwise. "So then I told her I wouldn't and she brought my mother into the conversation and kept doing that even when I told her to stop which made me angry and to top it off she was being stupid--stupid people don't deserve wands so I took it and she started crying." Merlin Lex hated when tears were wasted on rubbish. "And she kept calling me names and stuff so when I got tired of her being annoying I snapped her wand in two." Shrug. There wasn't even a hint of remorse in the 11 year old's voice. In her mind her actions were justified. |
you lot know who you are. Josephina was hungry; as if her stomach making growl noises wasn't enough to prove the case-in-point. Which was precisely the reason she had chosen to head down to the Great Hall, because they always had food ready for starving students and professors. It was one of the perks of the job, in her mind, anyway. But before she made it to the Great Hall, she stopped mid-step, as she overlooked the gathering in the Entrance Hall a moment. Laura, she knew, her prefect, Anya, and a new Gryffindor who she'd had yet to properly meet. Though from her interactions, it seemed as if the girl were feisty enough to be getting adjusted alright. Allowing another minute to pass, in hope for the situation to diffuse itself some more - she really WAS hungry - she took a few more steps toward the group. "What, in the name of Merlin, is going on here?" And no one better think of lying. |
Quote:
WHERE WERE ALL THESE PEOPLE COMING FROM?!?!?! :whaa: Now she was standing before a Professor she had seen at the staff table during the feast...she was a Professor right, because Lex had had enough of the Government people--especially one in particular. She sighed heavily over at the Professor. It would have been sooo tedious to repeat everything she had just said. Couldn't the Professor have approached them a few seconds earlier?! This was going to be a long day wasn't it? -___- "Do you want the long version or the short version?" Personally, she was fine with providing a short summary. She broke her wand. Done. Normally she would have been more courteous to Professors but her head as starting to hurt and she was getting irritable. This, she blamed on that stupid Laura. |
Laura didn't care that Professor Hadley was near, she was angry. "This coward over there broke my wand for no reason what so ever." Laura sighed. "Okay so she annoyed me and I asked her if her parents ever taught her manners but well it still doesn't give her the right to break my wand." Laura cried as she looked at Professor Hadley. "I'm sorry If I'm being rude or anything and if you take points off me I'll understand." Laura sighed, she was still really upset about her wand and Alexa was a coward. Laura then decided to look at Annabelle. "I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble." Laura sighed, she really hoped that the Prefect wouldn't stay mad at her and if she lost points then she was going to work hard to get them back, but hopefully the Professor would see how angry she was. "Professor Hadley can you mend my wand?" Laura showed the Professor her wand. |
Quote:
Quote:
"First of all, no name calling." Leave that one to the Slytherins, but they were Hufflepuffs. "5 points from you." Fina then rounded on Lex; "Secondly, Lex, is it? You should NEVER, EVER break someone else's wand. That is their personal belongings. I don't care if they punched you in the nose or whatever. There is NEVER a reason for you to break someone's wand. 15 points from you." Wand breaking was a serious offense. "And finally, both of you need to learn respect and to control your tempers. So I will be seeing you both in the Dungeons. This Thursday. No ifs, ands, or buts about it." Now, what else did she ask? Oh, about mending her wand? "There's spellotape, but I think they sell better repair kits over in Hogsmeade. I'll have a look when I go into town this week, Laura." She actually never mended a wand, but she would speak with Medea about it. As Defense Professor, surely the woman ought to have some experience with it. "The pieces, please?" She held out her hand. |
SPOILER!!: Lexa's quotes Annabelle nodded when she heard her side of the story. "Alright thank you very much Lexa for your side of the story. I much appreciate it." Quote:
|
Laura looked at the Professor and sighed, five points and a detention for calling someone who broke your wand a coward, that was totally unfair, she really wanted to know what would have happened if she had hit Alexa for breaking her wand, would it have been a life in Azkaban for that, she really didn't like her head of house now. "I'm sorry Professor Hadley." Laura sighed. "I know I shouldn't have said what I did, but I was angry, I will take my punishment." Laura really was annoyed with herself. Laura looked at the Professor. "Do you think that it would be better if I got a new one?" Laura wasn't sure if mending a wand would work. "I'm really sorry Professor." Laura hoped that Professor Hadley would realise she was telling the truth. Laura then did what the Professor asked and handed over both pieces of her wand. "What am I too do in the meantime?" Laura did have lessons to attend after all. |
Quote:
"That's not true!!" Her mood was sinking fast, now she just wanted to feed the girl to the giant squid. "I was walking, minding my own business when she started picking on me! Everyone keeps picking on me because I'm little." And of course she was using her most innocent 11 year old voice; the voice she used on her father when she wanted something. "I didn't even do anything to her then she bumped into me and tried forcing me to say I was sorry for her mistake, then she started being mean and calling me names--that's when she brought my mother into it even though I asked her nicely not to." She paused and took a deep breath to make sure that she maintained her composure. "Then she started picking on me some more...I got really angry and I know I shouldn't'a broken her wand but I did." She looked down as if there were remorse in her heart, but really there was none, the girl was simply a good actress. One had to be in order to get their way. "I'm sorry." She couldn't care less. Quote:
Hmm...no objections? So the detention was a must? After it all sunk in she figured it was her turn to address the Professor. She was already in trouble, yes? "Professor that doesn't sound very fair to me. How come she only lost 5 points for bullying me yet I lose 15 for defending myself? Are you saying it's fine for her to shove me and hit me and cause emotional scars but I can't break a piece of wood?" Her voice was kept at one, very steady pitch. This was one of the few signs that warned that a tantrum was coming soon. For now she would remain in one piece though. "That sounds pretty biased to me." Blinkless stare. Yup. She could be defiant when she wasn't getting her way but she could get even worse when she was being punished unfairly. "Your detention sounds pointless. I won't learn anything from it except that I should let older kids do what they want so that I don't get in trouble. Not a very good lesson if you ask me." Stare some more. "And why am I the only one your raising your voice at?" Slight pout. Her father never raised his voice at her; EVER. There, now she had gotten it all off her chest. Quote:

Taking the wand pieces, she smiled appreciatively, and stowed them safely in her tote. "For now? You'll be in Detention, so you won't have to worry about it. Your wand should be repaired though by the time you're out." Temporarily repaired. She will still need a new one. Quote:
"There was no shoving. There was no bullying. I can only go with the basis of what I know for a fact. And as far as I know, Laura here only was partaking in name-calling. Which as far as I know, was provoked by the fact that YOU broke her wand. If it's just a piece of wood, then would you like ME to break your piece of wood?" Really, she was losing patience. "Breaking someone's wand is SERIOUS. A wand is MORE than a piece of wood, as even at a ripe young age, one should be aware of that. A wand is magic." "And really, I wouldn't be so quick to cast judgment before you even start your detention." |
Quote:
Alexa's eyebrows knitted in frustration. "You're not going off of facts. You're going off of what she told you but like I said, she bumped into me for no reason then started demanding that I apologize so in that sense she was bullying me but I suppose you don't care about that because no one cares what happens to firsties in this STUPID place filled with STUPID Professors!" Everyone at her old school knew the child had a temper on her...a temper that didn't allow her mouth to rest until it got everything out-- O____O DJBESOEGIFBDKFBDREI!!!! "Not you toooo!!! Stay away from my baby, you hear me?! I don't care who you are, no one's gonna break my wand!" She practically shrieked. Her wand. No one touch. At the last comment she made a face at the woman. No matter what happened she wasn't gonna learn. "Nuh-uh." |
Laura looked at Professor Hadley. "I understand Professor." Laura was calming down now, okay so she shouldn't have called Alexa a coward but the girl had broken her wand, wasn't that something a coward would do. "I'm really sorry I let you down Professor." Laura couldn't believe she had let the girl wind her up. Laura looked at Alexa as she called the Professor stupid. "Professor Hadley isn't stupid." Laura said slowly. "She the best head of house anyone can have." Laura really didn't know what made her say that. Laura really hoped the wand would work until christmas, because then she could go home and get one from Olivanders. "Thank you Professor." Laura smiled. "I know you'll do your best to repair my wand." Laura just hoped that at the end of detention she would have her wand back, at least so it worked. |
Quote:
"No, I won't break your wand, but you just proved my point about the seriousness of breaking a wand. Do unto others as you would want done unto you. If you don't want your wand broken, then WHY would you break someone else's? If it's merely a piece of wood, then what difference does it make to you?" The end. Rational, logical thoughts have been spoken. "And don't even go there with the caring nonsense." Ever. Quote:
"Thank you, Laura." |

Lex blinked up at the woman. Wasn't it obvious?! "Well of course I broke her wand for good reasons. Stupid people shouldn't be allowed access to wands and I told her that. She cries for everything and she's not very bright rendering her wand nothing but a piece of wood." Only stating the facts here. Laura was the farthest thing from a Ravenclaw for a reason. "Mine, on the other hand is in very capable hands because I don't go around falling in love then crying about it afterwards," Stupid older kid, "So mine would not be just a piece of wood...making sense to you Professor?" She asked with mock patience. Alexa was the same when it came to her step-mother and any other grown up who never let her have her way. At the Professor's final statement she scowled. "Why? Don't you Professors at this school like the truth?" |
Laura looked at Alexa and sighed, she wasn't going to get into anymore trouble, she still was upset to get detention for calling her a coward, after she had broke her wand, she also ignored the comment about her being a kiss up, yeah she had heard it but she was just going to ignore it. Laura looked at Lexi again and sighed. "I ain't stupid." Laura didn't like being called stupid but she was calm now so she wasn't going to do or say anything that would get her into more trouble. |

And that was that. Food time? |
Dylan walked to the entrance hall slowly making sure that he wasn't being followed by anyone cause what he was about to do was something that he hadn't done before. But that didn't mean that he was never going to do it! He looked around and saw that there was no-one around, perfect! Just what he needed for his plan to be out into action. He took out the big roll of parchment that he had brought with him and put it on the floor as he looked around to see where in the entrance hall would be the best place to put this parchment type banner thing that he had made. He looked around again to make sure that there still wasn't anyone around to see him do this, cause as much as he was going to love doing this to the max He took out some images of walking sticks, and decided to stick them in a few places. Now what was that spell that professor Burbage had taught them? Ah yes Adhaero.. He went to one part of the entrance hall and put the picture agains the wall "Adhaero" he said taking his hand away from the picture and saw that it had stuck well. One more look round told him that no-one was paying attention, he then took out a few more walking sticks and some cupcake images. Dylan then went to strategic places as to where he stuck the remainder of the images he had brought. Now it was the time for the main one, the big boy parchement of Hogwarts, and no-one could say it wasn't. Anyways back to the task at hand, he slowly unrolled the banner as he also kept his eye on his surroundings just to make sure he would be able to do this. He had a big grin on his face the entire time he took to open this banner, he had finished unrolling it and it was time to stick it. He the decided to stick the banner on the opposite wall that seemed to be a little blank, he got hold of one corner and put it up as far as possible. "Adhaero!" he took his hand away carefully and went to the other side of the banner and stretched it across the wall, but he must not have concentrating on the sticking for the other corner came off. He sighed and dragged his feet back to the other end as he re-stuck that corner this time make sure crunches. Ok so two corners were up and now for the other two corners, he did the same with both corner Adhaero'd the same lol. Soon he put his want away and stood by to admire his work getting ready to look all innocent as ever of anyone were to come by. Quote:

Jasmine made her way to the Great Hall for a late supper. Merlin she was tired... what a day. She hated starting a new school after its already been in session, but this occurence was nothing new. She had recently transferred to Hogwarts that very day and was somewhat intimidated my the mass size of the place. After settling into her dorm she began her journey to find something to eat. To her credit she only got lost a couple of times and stuck on a moving staircase once. Bounding off the last step into the Entrance Hall she let out a sigh, the puff of air blowing a stray lock of her long dark hair off her face. Looking up to head toward the Great Hall doors she stopped mid step and glanced in curiosity at all the images attached to the walls. Walking sticks and cupcakes? This school is weirder then I thought... Then her greenish blue eyes caught site of what looked like a first year and judging from the color of the boy's tie, was a Gryffindor. Jasmine narrowed her eyes at the boy, she knew he was either up to something or was responsible for what she was looking at already. Shaking her head slightly she decided to not get involved, with her luck she would get blamed for whatever was going on. New kids always go blamed for things they did not do, of that she had more then enough experience with. So ignoring the boy and whatever he was up to, she quickly made her way to the Great Hall doors. Her stomach letting out a rather loud growl at the wonderful food smells wafting to her nose. Cheeks slightly pink she heaved open the door and made her way inside. |
Arabella-Marie slipped into the entrance hall and looked about to see if anybody was looking she saw a banner that made her laugh and not sure what to do non verbally she set a big pool of water on the floor of the hall and then again she turned the water into ice and continued to do that over most of the hall but left the stairs alone did not want people to end up in the hospital wing with broken bodies and she hid so that she wouldn't be caught but deep down she had a feeling that she may get caught |
AHEM! *points at Dylan AND Arabella SPOILER!!: YOU! *points* Making her rounds around the school, Kurumi ended up in the entrance hall en route to going outside to get some fresh air when something caught her eye. No, it wasn't the first year Gryffindor standing there looking at the poster...but the poster itself. Eyes wide and jaw dropping practically to the floor Kurumi began to rush forward. "DYLAN!" she shouted in disbelief. "Did you do this?" Not that she really thought someone else had...he was the only one present at the moment and...well...looked rather pleased with himself at the moment. "Take it down...NOW. If you thought Professor Burbage was touchy about that word...you have no idea what Professor Vindictus is capable of." Kurumi took another few steps forward, unaware that SOMEONE had done something to the floor, and her foot slipped on the icy surface. Kurrumi's small frame went crashing to the ground and she lay there with her back on the ground looking up at the bloody sign and the wind utterly knocked out of her. |
Arabella-Marie was glad that she was hiding but she peeked out when she heard a thud and saw Kurumi lying on the ground and fought to stay in control but she had to stay hidden didn't want to get into trouble off of Kurumi |
Hannah deciding to get away for awhile and think about some things that have been going on in her personal life walked around aimlessly. She was thinking of getting something to eat to bring back up to her common room. Before she knew it she found herself in the entrance hall and not really paying attention to anything around her. She took a couple of steps and was completely taken off guard. Her right foot started to slip and her left foot was going in the opposite direction. Merlins Beard what was going on. She didn't have too long to think about it though because after she slide a good way she was starting to lose her balance and then.... BOOM! Hannah ate it. She fell flat on her backside. Oh somebody was going to pay!!! |
SPOILER!!: falling Hannah and Kurumi Minerva was in her own world, just coming from class she had one thing on her mind and that was to head to the great hall and get something to eat. She was starving. Hmm she hoped to find something good and to get something to drink, maybe some hot chocolate since it was so chilly outside these days. Something caught her eye has she hit the door that made her stop before entering the entrance floor. "What the bloody.." she looked up at the sign. "He's not that old is he?" she couldn't help but laugh, and hope it wasn't one of her housemates that made that banner, they were in enough trouble. Something then caught her eye, not one, but two people on the floor. One was Kurumi, did she enjoy the floor that much that she was on it again. Last time she saw her faint in a class just the other day, or was that today? Minerva couldn't remember with all the stuff going on. "Kurumi are you okay? Do I need to get the healer?" Minerva then looked at the other girl, "Are you okay?" without paying attention she stepped onto the floor to go over to both girls and check on them, but before she could she began to slip and slide. Trying to keep her balance for as long as she could until BAA AM She was looking up at the sign which again made her laugh a bit. Sitting up slowly she looked around and that's when she noticed that the floor looked like ice. "What the heck happened in here, who could have done this?" Oh really please don't let it be a puff. Without getting up for fear of falling yet again she looked at the other two girls, "How do we get this ice off the floor so we can stand without falling again." That's when Minerva felt her arm sting, she wasn't hurt bad, but it just stung. Getting on her hands and knees so that she did not fall again. Minerva crawled carefully to the Slytherin girl first since she was closer, "Are you hurt?" Then looked over to Kurumi to see if she was badly hurt at all. |
Arabella-Marie was silently holding herself as there were now three students down on the floor this was the best prank she didnt know how much longer she could stay hidden for it all depended on who else fell or whether any professors came by and noticed her hiding |
