With a shuffle here and a shuffle there, moving along to the music, Monte SMILED as he paused in front of the woman, giving a short bow. His dance skills were simply splendid, he knew. Monte just knew. "Good day and welcome to Simply Stylish." Simply the best! "How can I help you today?" |

Hogsmeades had a hair salon?!?! Gosh, Cardigan didn't get out enough! If she had actually known about this place, heck, she might've stayed here all day! Hair was cool in that weird way. It could grow back to normal if you cut it, but you can't do that with clothes! At least, it wouldn't look the same. You'd have to patch it up. Pushing open the door and stepping inside, she gasped, out of pure awe. It was just so, COLORFUL AND FUN!! The decorations were so eye-catching!! There were star shaped decorations, triangle shapes, square shapes, circle shapes and the best of all, the spirals! It definitely didn't seem boring in here. The young snake continued her walk through the store to the receptionists desk, mentally taking note of everything. You couldn't forget it! FINALLY arriving at the desk, she asked out in a clear voice, "'scuse me?" Now would be a good time to decide what to get. A new haircut? A hairstyle? New hair color? |
Eva! Beating Leo to the door Sophia held it open for him. He'd let her talk him into getting a haircut, which was good for him since the man badly needed one. A new do would certainly bring out his features more and perhaps he'd have better look with women then too. And since today was all about hair she decided against straightening her curls. She instead sported a full head of curls to the village. "I think something nice and low would look good on you, make you look younger." |

Leo let his gaze nervously drift around the saloon as he absently touched his curly mop hair with his right hand. This could end badly.... |
Quote:
"Yes I'm sure. I think we've been friends long enough for you to trust me Leo." She reached up and pulled a lock of his hair up gently.Yep he definitely needed a haircut and perhaps he needed to dye out those grays that were coming in too. "You'll thank me for this later believe me." She sat down and crossed her legs then pat the stop next to her for Leo to join her."Come i'll tell you how I got Ramanos back for that stunt she pulled on me last term." |
Quote:
Eyes widening Leo nervously sat down on the stop next Sophia feeling like he possibly might throw up before the hair dresser even had time for them. Desperately focusing on something other than hair Leo asked curiously "And how did you manage to get back at Medea?" |

Professor Bellaire's eyes sparkled with mysterious glee."Well I lured her into the Irie room and unleashed a hurricane on her." She beamed at him."You should have seen her, looking like a wet pygmy puff." She chuckled quietly. |

But... But but... She had such LOVELY red hair as it was!!! "Are you sure?" he asked, twiddling with his thumbs as he was hesitant to change the most magnificent color she already had. Quote:
"WELCOME!" he grinned as he THREW HIS ARMS OUT IN WELCOME. Walking his way over to the front desk, he leaned on the side, smiling down at the girl. "Welcome to Simply Stylish. How can I help you?" Don't mind his rather blue appearance. Not everyone stepped out of here like so. Quote:

"Good day, Madame." Monte beamed with a short short short bow. Whatever they were discussing had went through one ear and right out the other for him. "Monsieur. How may I be of service today?" Did the man want curls too? He most certainly could be the right candidate to bring them back in style for men. Quote:

"Hmm, I would like a styling with some highlights, and a bottle of Just Hold it It Gel, please," Cardigan said, holding up a quick sketch with the right colored highlights and style. That should do the trick! We wouldn't want her hairstyle to fall out now, would we? She was pretty sure she had a bottle of hairspray up in her trunk, but it might've ran out already. Better safe than sorry, especially when it comes to potential fashion emergencies. Her hair frizzed up a lot, so she constantly needed to use hairspray or gel to keep it on place, and to keep it from going everywhere. Not the prettiest sight, mind you! SPOILER!!: Hairstyle sketch |

Focusing on Sophia' story Leo couldn't help but laugh heartly at how Sophia had gotten back at Medea. "So you're even now, yes? And friends?" Or maybe not there was a possibility that getting drenched in water hadn't ended the tiff just added wood to the fire. Quote:
Leo was slowly getting his nervs under control when the hair dresser showed up and well to him the man looked well untrusting. Could he let that man near his hair? Pulse raising he exchanged a long glance with Sophia before murmuring to the hair dresser. "I think I might need a simple hair cut, if its possible?" Please say you don't have time. I don't actually need a hair cut very badly at all. |

Poor baldy *pets him* Monte get the scissors!!! Yes she understood that he was nervous but getting a normal haircut would not make the man bald. It's not like they were going to shine his head like a bowling ball. Besides, if his hair was going to thin or fall out a haircut would not stop that. "Leo you're being silly. You and your hair will be fine." Sophia frowned. She wasn't sure. "Well I think we're even but even so, this might not be over. I think I'll just have to be extra careful around Medea for a bit. Women can be tricky you know." She gave him a wink. Oooh finally the stylist was ready for them. Sophia got to her feet, so she could show him what she wanted him to do with Leo's hair. She ignored Leo's comment about a simple cut or whatever he was whining about. "I want something boyish for him. So you'll want to cut the back low and have a bit of top. So he can feel something when he touches his hair. He's a bit scared of going bald you see." |

Monte LOVED it!! "I believe we can work this out." he grinned as he turned to gesture on over to gesture to the work stations behind the front desk. Yes, come on over! No need to be shy or anything. Quote:
Monte went over and pulled over a small cart, pieces of foil stacked up next to a bowl full of liquid stuff that had a pleasant cinnamon smell to it. Or maybe it was ginger. Apple? With a flick of his wand, the mixture started to stir itself. "Is this your first coloring?" Quote:

Oh, Monte JOKES! He laughed and gave a good ol' slap on the man's shoulder. Of course pigs can fly, just as he could give a simple haircut. Looking towards the woman, Monte's eyebrows raised as he listened to the request and that slight fear of the man. Oh. OHHHHH. Monte turned to the man, sympathy as clear as day in his eyes. "I understand...completely." He nodded. Yes. He. Did. "BUT, you won't go bald with me around. You have my promise. Example 'a'." Did they SEE Monte's LOVELY hair? He was gesturing to it. |

Strictly speaking, Lights was in Hogsmead to visit her little brothers, who were sixth-years at Hogwarts. However, Ieuan and Reese had taken her six-year-olds Ezekiel and Bellissa to Zonko's Joke Shop, so she had at least half an hour of peace before they all got hungry. Both generations of twins had a flair for mischief and the scheming look on all their faces was enough for Lights to run quickly in the opposite direction. Lights was determined to make the most of that half an hour though. The only peace she got in lately was ... well, never. Usually she loved that about her family, but sometimes it could get too much. When was the last time she'd been in a hair salon? In Italy, it must have been, with her friend Kelsey, eight years ago. She'd cut her hair short and put those bubblegum blue streaks in, and had maintained it right up until the twins were born. Time for something different. Lights had always had long (except for the two years mentioned), curly, light blonde hair. She considered bubblegum blue streaks a bit too out there now, but nice highlights would but nice. And maybe a straightener? |

Text Cut: Monte+Sophia “That’s easy for you to say Sophia. Your family isn’t cursed with reclining hair before the age of 40.” Leo commented agitatedly. "Sorry, I know you only mean well." He quickly apologized but this Monte Bossa was another thing. How was Leo supposed to know that he could be allowed near his hair? The hair dressers his mother had dragged him to in his youth had been fickle and scary and one had turned his hair bright carrot orange on accident. Could he trust Monte to not make his hair yet another embarrassment? "Right tricky, I guess women can be that at times yes." Leo agreed. He was though by no means an expert and wasn’t going to say anything else. Sophia and Medea needed to work out their tiff of sorts on their own. He was not meddling. Merlin no! A slap on his left shoulder made Leo focus on the hair dresser. Coughing slightly startled he listened as Sophia told the hair dresser what she envisioned for his hair and also without any ceremony revealed his fear of going bald. Eyeing the hair dresser Leo gave him a teeny tiny nervous smile. "Um, just get on with it please." Before he ran out the door, doing that seemed very tempting right about now. No matter if Monte had awesome hair or not. |
Sophia took her seat once again and leaned back crossing her legs. She beamed at both men. Yep project Leo make over was under way, she could sit back and enjoy the whole show. "No but who says this curse didn't skip a generation? You and your hair will be fine, sit back and relax." She reached over and gave the man another comforting pat on the hand. Sophia nodded and chuckled. Yep everyone knew this and the men who didn't were in for a rude awakening. "Take it away Monte." |
Quote:
"Oh! Have I heard of it?" he asked excitedly, leaning to the side to look at her before waving his hand. "Darling, you don't have to worry with me around. I'll take very good care of your hair." Was she ready? Because... "Alright. Here we goooooo." The foils floated themselves over to her hair, strategically placing themselves where they needed to be while Monte worked the hair coloring. His foils were such good team workers! Quote:

Monte would surely be hesitant, but if that's what the customer wanted, than by golly, he'd make her DREAMS COME TRUE! "Of course." he nodded, moving to the side and gesturing to the stations to the back. Perhaps a nice green station? "Come on back and we'll get started." Quote:
Quote:
The woman knew his name? Was Monte getting a reputation here!? Monte BEAMED and gestured on over to the stations for the man, chest swelling with pride. No, those weren't tears in his eyes! They were just glistening with happiness. "Right this way then." |
