"So, how are you liking classes so far?" She asked curiously. |

"We'll see about that," he said casually. He had only known her for less than two minutes; how did he know yet if it was nice to meet her or not? Wait, signs? Visitation schedule? Milton raised an eyebrow and gave her a you've-got-to-be-kidding-me look. "It's a chair, love. There are ten others in this room just like it." So get ooooover it. Quote:
His eyebrow raised again and he looked at Spike for a moment before responding. "Thank you... I'm rather enjoying it." It was nice and CUSHY. Indeed. |
Damien entered the common room clutching a very suspicious silver box in his arms. slowly, he peeked inside of it but he closed it quickly. He took a deep breath and smiled. It'll be safely hidden..but where?? he silent asked himself. |

But yeah. Still not sure how she felt about this chick, so she would take to LOOKING at her from time to time. Possibly staring. Not speaking though, not yet. Quote:
The male prefect got the stink eye for a moment and then she spoke. "It's a lovely chair, is it not. That is why it's mine." Get it? STAY AWAY FROM MY CHAIR!! Quote:
"And yes, I was kidding about the visitation schedule. It was a joke. HAR HAR. Are all of you Brits so serious all the time?" GAWD. She would tickle him if he didn't lighten up. Heh. |
Addy, Spike, Milton "Making friends, Jacks?" Vivi paused on her way down the staircase from the dorms and took in the conundrum. There was plenty of seating in the common room. Surely that chair wasn't the one. Unless it was. In which case, she wanted to sit in it too. She finished descending and paused a few feet away, hands clasped behind her back and head cocked to the side. Badges. These were respectable sorts that Jacks was tormenting. Didn't she know better? "I know a duplication spell. We could make copies of the chair." |
Ameliah pulled up her hair as she walked down from her dorm. Shuffling through her bag, she carefully took out her note sheet and a quill and began to make editions to it, making sure she understood what the Professor ranted about today. Where was Tay?? Ameliah checked her watch. She was supposed to be meeting Taylor in a few minutes to discuss her symptoms and find out if (and if so, who) there was foul play involved. |

"I'm not serious," he said SERIOUSLY. Bah. Quote:
Also. Um. Confused. Who was Jacks? Milton was pretty sure the blonde was talking to the redhead, but she said her name was Addy. Too bad he didn't care that much. "Everybody knows the duplication spell. If they wanted the chair that bad, they would've done it by now." And with THAT, Milton opened his book and |
Everyone!!! Louisa had gather small wood sticks from the grounds, mostly by the lake where no one seemed to be needing them. She had a bunch of nails in her pocket, can be duplicated, and of course her wand was in her other hand, serving as the main conductor to what the Ravenclaw was planning... .. A CAT HOUSE!! The idea was very sudden and not-thought-of before Erin mentioned having a cat and then her friend had another cat and then a friend of a friend had a cat and so on. SO, Louisa thought that a cat house built here in their common room would be quite useful for all the cats to play, snuggle, and leave the studious students alone when some solidarity is needed, right? RIGHT. With her hair confidently loose and in its proper length and shining nature, she walked into the common room to find a group already sitting around. PERFECT. She rushed to the center of the room, dropped the small wooden planks on the floor, kicked her shoes off and climbed onto the chair, setting her sock-ed feet on each arm to gain more height. "EXCUSE ME RAVENCLAWS!" She would've used sonorous but that'd make her voice just slightly manly. Ew. "Me and some friends were thinking that our common room could use a little personalization." And Louisa was nothing if not a personalization maniac. "So talking to some people, we came to notice that there are quite a lot of Ravenclaws who own cats and sometimes feel bad for neglecting them here during class time." Louisa's own cats started to approach their owner up on the chair, both tabbies and both trying to get her attention... but she was giving a spiel so they went unnoticed, unintentionally proving her point. "SO we thought that we could build a small cat house!" Grinning and clapping her hands once as she said so. Wasn't this idea awesome?!! Exactly! Louisa was actually taking no for an answer, she already got the requirements. She just needed people to "People are going to join me soon, and I'd really appreciate it if EVERYONE help with this!" She aaaalmost squeaked. She was a bit giddy, yes. Could you blame her? She had her hair back, the bad man didn't cross her mind ALL DAY which was a significant improvement and her housemates were proud of her as Head Girl. Yes, she had the right to be giddy today! Now before she specifically told them how and where that was going to take place... she needed to see the general reaction of the crowd. While still standing on the arm-chair in the middle of the room. |

Ameliah practically squealed at the thought. Dwalin could have something to do during the day! "That sounds AMAZING!" she said brightly to the girl with cat shoes. And building was totaly Ameliah's thing. GRIN. |
Quote:
Logic. Vivi had it. "Dunno. Maybe you like people standing around staring at you." Quote:
And only if they did not call it a cat house. "It has to have a really clever name, doesn't it?" Vivi called from across the common room. "Ravenclaws have to name everything clever-like, I think." |
"That is the thing... I dont know!" She pouted and sighed, "I mean ever since the feast I cant help but hate him everytime I see him." Taylor frowned and looked at Louisa, "That sounds like a wonderful idea!" Tay tried to smile. |

They COULD duplicate the chair, but it wouldn't be the SAME. It was HERS. And he would share at least... or she would rethink the flipping it over option. Quote:
"He says seriously that he is not serious. How's that for irony?" Really. I MEAN REALLY. Addy then moved around the chair so that she was standing to the side of it. Just a litttttle further and she could follow through with this plan. Heh. Quote:
And yes, she whined loudest. SHE WINS. A feeeeeew more steps around the chair... |
Quote:
Heh, whatever. "Well, enjoy it while you can, Shacklebolt," he said with a smirk. Because that was SPIKE'S usual chair. Quote:
Quote:
Copies of the chair? Spike shook his head. "I'm sure there's no need." He'd just raced Milton back after Quidditch practice, that was all. Because as Captain, Shacklebolt would have to return the equipment. Hehe. |

there's a claim at the end for anyone who wants it Quote:
Putting her left hand in her pocket, she walked down the stairs and into the common room, just in time to miss the entire speech...just seeing Louisa standing up on a chair looking like she was waiting to do something. So the third year walked towards the group and kinda waited... trying to figure out what was happening. Turning to the person beside her, she asked in a whisper "What's going on?" You know... in case something was happening like all the freezing the past year. |
EVERYONE!!! & specially the Milton Group :D Quote:
"I like your enthusiasm, miss!" Hehe. "You're assigned to move that small table over there," she pointed at a corner where the study tables area connected with the common room area, "So that we establish the house right between those two areas." Pause. "NO MAGIC!" She blurted out, kind of panicked too. "No one allowed to use their wands unless they're in sixth or seventh year." She didn't want books flying everywhere and broken shelves on top of injured students. Professor Vee would be mad. Quote:
Also why exactly was Milton sitting on a chair with a BUNCH of Quote:

Okay, FAIN. She was climbing down from this awesome higher view. Louisa jumped down, slipped her feet into her cat-flats and motioned for the younger Ravenclaw to join her. She should take care of that hand and make sure the other red-head is entertained. Even without a broom. OH and speaking of which, Louisa had some surprises for the soon-to-be Quidditch player but she wasn't sharing now. Hehe. As for the design of the cat house, the head girl took a piece of parchment out of her pocket and threw it in the air. With her other hand holding her wand, she englarged it and let it hover in the air for everyone to see. "This is what we'll be building, ladies and gentlemen. So come forward and start helping me with transfiguring those sticks into rectangular wooden planks, circular red wooden planks, and triangular red wooden planks." It was clear from the picture where they were going to use each one of them, right? If not, Louisa will SPOILER!!: CAT HOUSE PICTURE :3 |
Louisa and Everybody Nigel had just come from taking the most amazing nap. When he hears all this yelling about the Captain and a Catville. He was more of a Owl guy but wanted to know what this ville has all about. He walks into the common room and sees a lot of people he did not know. "Hi, Everybody" Nigel said not caring who hears it. Then he sees Louisa start to explain what they would be doing to start this ville or something. He then walks over to Louisa to give a suggestion on the name of this vile or whatever. "Hey Louisa, What is this Cat or kitty ville you're talking about?" Nigel was looking for the best chair in the common room. But it looked like Milton had already took it and was keeping it by pretending to read a book. Not that Nigel cared. But now he had to find the second best. |

POP. The stick was now flat, but not red. DANGIT. Ameliah was going for a red one. Oh well...regular planks were needed too, right? She gently set the plank down to start a pile for all the other ones. What was her Aunt's trick for Transfiguration? Ameliah wanted to be just as great as Aunt Lucy. This was great practice. |
Text Cut: one very excited head girl A cat house... Well, Lily didn't have a cat but since her owl already had someplace to hang out while the third year was in class or what have you, she didn't object to the idea. She really didn't mind cats...but her father sure did with his allergies, so Lily wasn't allowed to own a cat. As for what they were doing, the claw grinned at her older friend... who was frowning at her now. Why was Louisa frowning at her?? Sure her injured right hand was badly wrapped, but at least she hadn't tried to stuff that hand into her pocket. She had just kinda hid it in her long sleeves of her sweatshirt. Maybe that was why... but who knew. Instead, she was being motioned to follow the older claw. Lily took her left |

She considered sitting on Shacklebolt and inviting the others to join her, but decided that was a for the future. "It's always polite to ask first, Jacks. And I'm always polite." Quote:
Why was everyone so opposed to chair duplication? Not that she was an advocate for chair overpopulation, but it was like people wanted to fight over the chair. Quote:
Or not. But it was funny, and maybe Shacklebolt would be amused. "How about... Cloud Nine Lives? You know... cloud nine 'cause it's a haven for them, but nine lives like a cat has? Too much explanation required?" Just something clever was what she wanted. A little Shangri-La for the cats. "How are we supposed to transfigure the wood pieces without using magic?" |
Ariella decided that now was a good time to finally visit the Ravenclaw common room, a room that surprisingly she hadn't visited/explored yet. She entered the room and her jaw dropped in awe. This room was amazing! It was large, and curcular with lots of windows, and it had been decorated with practically anything blue and bronze! The best part was all the books that where in there, it was like Ariella was dreaming! She walked slowing across the room, taking note of everything as she walked by, including the small group of Ravie that seemed to be talking about....a cat house? Ariella decided not to intrude but she did recognize a few people she had talked to earlier, and an older girl who Alexa had talked to earlier... Oh well! Ari finally spotted a small, comfy chair and curled up in it... |
