Outside Professor Bellaire's office

Outside Professor Bellaire's office is a comfy bench set against the wall. There are also painting against the wall as well as a mirror. You are expected to check yourself (how you are attired, your hair) so as to ensure that you are neat and presentable. There is also a plant next to the paint which serves no further purpose other than decoration, though a plant indoor never hurt anyone (unless it is of course Devil's Snare, which this plant is not). In front of the door is a mat, please wipe your feet before entering.

Knock and wait to be addressed.

OOC: post here and wait to be addressed before entering the office.

Lex had stormed up both flights of stairs and soon found herself standing at the office of the Charms Professor. This was where she was supposed to go right? This was the woman who knew a lot about charms and was going to be teaching them some throughout the year...right? Right! Therefore she was in the right place and needed to have a serious talk with the woman.

Knock. Knock. KNOCK.

The nerve of those older kids. Just because they were older they thought they could just slap spells on her and make her quiet. She hated the whole lot of them--with a few exceptions of course. If they weren't mean they were annoying and if they weren't annoying they were gross but that wasn't why she was here. Before she could do anything about those older idiots she would need some assistance.

Taking a deep breath she threw herself on the bench and tried to calm down. There was sweat beading down her face and her hair must have been everywhere with the way she had practically flown up the stairs. Lex ran her fingers through her hair but knew she hadn't done much to fix it so gave up and instead sat waiting for the Professor to see her.

Hopefully she wasn't busy because this was important.

Just cuz you walked all the way with my jeggins Soph will be nice-ish :)

Who was pounding on her door? Frowning Professor Bellaire got up from her seat and walked to the door. Honestly, she barely had time to unpack her trunk before the students came knocking. It had better be important.

She creaked the door open and looked outside. Her hands immediately went to her hips.

"Make yourself appropriate." She pointed to the mirror. "Honestly you students never learn. When you're done cleaning yourself up you may enter my office." She turned away but left her door open.

First things first...check the woman's office.

Gideon headed down to the third floor from the flooded fourth in search of his quarry. Hopefully he didn't need to search for too long. Reaching the appropriate door, the prefect walked up to it and knocked on the wooden surface, stepping back a step or two as he stodd off to one side while he patiently listened for a response of any sort. If none, it was on to the next place to look.

At the last minute upon noticing the mirror, he remembered the professor hated when students were messy and here he was his shoes wet and his pants as well up to his ankles from the water level he had previously left. Gideon quickly took his wand out and cast a drying spell upon his bottom half to try and straighten himself up as he waited an answer.

Odd she wasn't expecting anyone, but when did that ever matter when one was a professor at Hogwarts. She put away the last figurine she was polishing to get the door.Perhaps it was Leo wanting to go for tea in the staff room.

hmmm

Pulling open the door she was face to face with the Gryffindor prefect.

"Mr.Gert, how can I help you?"

Gideon hadn't had to wait that long which was a good thing lest he had given up and moved on. But soon enough the office door was opened, alerting the charms professor's presence in the room answering his knock. The prefect making sure his usual composure was onboard and he would present a good face. "Good day professor," he greeted when he came face to face with the woman, inwardly releived she was indeed there.

"Mr. Kitridge sent me to find ye. There's been an incident in the fourth floor corridor and he wanted yer expertise to make sure everything is alright." Well that was the gist of it anyway, even if Gideon was speaking of it in his own words. The seventh year feeling better about first getting her there before she found out what was actually up. No doubt a flooded corridor would deter the normally stickler for cleanliness that stood before him.

An incident in the corridor? Goodness. Leo was always one to somehow en
d up hurting himself she hoped it was not a case like that. But then it was also likely that it was some students running amok in the corridors in which case she would certainly know how to handle that.

"Thank you Mr.Gert. Run along and tell the professor I'm on my way." She went back inside to slip something in her pocket then returned locking the door behind her.

Fourth floor corridor right? She clicked her way the staircase robes billowing out behind her.

Another inward sigh of relief as Proffesor Bellaire had so readily agreed to help. "Yer welcome," he said, nodding at her instructions and turning back to head back the way he came. No running...just moving quickly for it wasn't that imperative to get back there. As long as he was ahead of the charms professor and got to his destination quickly he was fine.

Herbology Task 1 - Post #3 *whistles*

Theodore's palms were sweating now. He had NEVER been to any professor's office before, and he didn't like the smell of them. They smelled like trouble. And the closer and closer he got to the door of her office, the more Theo wished he'd just given it to Blue. Or Alliot.

Taking a DEEP breath, Theodore placed the purple box in front of her door, being as quiet as a mouse.

http://oi48.tinypic.com/nvxi0i.jpg

The box consisted of a (badly drawn) daisy chain which was in the size of a bracelet, along with a ripened red apple sitting beside it, both of which were salvaged from the Fruit Orchid. Theo just had a need to give his favourite teachers an apple, but the Daisies were just.... an idea.

It read a simple message saying; 'To Professor Bellaire.' That wasn't creepy, was it? Noooooo, the point of this task was to make someone's day! And he figured that she would be more creeped out if he'd hand-given it to her.

Once the present was delivered, Theo turned on his heel and ran away.

Subtle.

Sophia was on her way to the staff room when she almost stepped on a package lying on the mat in front of her office door. She raised an eyebrow.

Well what do we have here? Her first thought was that someone was probably trying to play some kind of prank on her. Stooping over the box she used her wand to open it....carefully.

hmm nothing jumped out at her. She peeked into the box and saw the apple and the daisy chain and only then did she take the box in her hand and straightened up. Right she'd take it to professor Ramanos to have it checked out...but when she read the note she changed her mind. There was even a smile on her face as she recognized the hand writing.

Well then, this would be charmed to keep from wilting and she might even wear it. Who knew..
