Muggle Studies Lesson #2: Villains

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

When you first enter the Muggle Studies classroom, you can once again hear a variety of Muggle Superhero theme songs playing in the background and filling the classroom with excitement. This time they have a little bit more of an eerie and sinister sound to them. And everything is geared towards Villains instead of Superheroes this time around.

Hanging on the walls, are posters of different Villains, both from Comic Books and Movie Posters. There is the Joker, Lex Luther, Doctor Octopus, Magneto, Loki, Cat Woman, Dr. Doom, Doomsday, and many more. The room has huge drapeings all over it in Dark Green, Dark Blue, and Red. And around the room are scattered arches of balloons but this time they are in deep blues, blacks, and grays. The room has taken on a little bit of a sinister air.

There is a table in the corner with a variety of goodies that will refill instantly if emptied. There are little bags beside the goodies for you to fill up with Muggle Candy which has been creatively named to match various Villians.
There are also glasses of Muggle Kool-Aid in Green, Blue, or Red. In the middle of everything is a Villains themed caked that will be cut into later on.

There are no desks in the room, just a variety of different colored bean bags laid out all over the place. The bean bags have been charmed to be extra squishy and comfy. Beside each bean bag is a basket. The basket has a white piece of paper with a simple mask drawn on it, a package of markers and colored pencils, a piece of string, and some scissors.

On the board in the front of the room is a note that states:
Quote:

Welcome to Muggle Studies!

Please have a seat and start decorating the mask placed in the basket beside your bean bag. It can be either Superhero or Villain inspired. Feel free to be creative and have fun with this. I expect to see everyone with a mask on by the time class starts.

See you in a few minutes!
OOC: Please come in and have a seat. Feel free to have small conversations but remember that Gemma is always watching. Class will officially begin in the morning. Sorry for the delayed posting...today was hectic in RL...:glomp:

Early bird...

Befelda felt soo sleepy, all day long. She didn't even want to wake up early this morning as her eyes won't open. But she has no choice. She just always say to herself that being at Hogwarts is her dream and nothing will ever ruin that dream.

However, despite her sleepiness, she's still having problems as to whom will she give the Lingualaxus Potion she had brewed in the last Potions lesson. Arrgghh! I need to find someone who will be willing to drink the potion. Or else, I won't get any house points on my homework.

Befelda, frowning and still thinking, almost jumped from her seat as she noticed the time. It's time for Muggle Studies! She hurriedly fixed herself, packed up her things and headed straight to the Muggles Studies classroom.

After she arrived at the door, still panting, she entered the room, not knowing that the class hasn't started yet. Oh, good Merlin! I thought I was already late. Relieved from the matter, she entered the room and scanned it. The room entirely has a sinister air, something grey and dark. She felt a little bit weird about the aura of the room; she could see posters of the villains hanging up the walls, not to mention the eerie music background.

She noticed some goodies in the table. I love goodies! She didn't have second thoughts of getting some. And as she walked, she could see colored bean bags which she believed will be the comfy seats they will be using for the class. She went for the pink bean bag which was her favorite color, and noticed a basket with some art stuff. Then she once glanced at the board, with instructions of the Professor to make a mask consisting the art stuff in the basket and use it before the class starts.

Since Befelda was not quite in the mood and still sleepy, she couldn't think of any artistic mask of a superhero or a villain. So she just cut the paper into a cat-woman-like mask, colored it black and put the strings on each side. She just made a cat woman mask. She's too sleepy to be creative at the moment.

She then cleaned up the mess, then wore her cat woman mask and waited for the others to enter the room.

She felt like sleeping wearing the mask...

Awarlesta Black 10-25-2012 04:17 AM

Awar skipped in, excited for today's lesson. She plopped into one of the bean bag chair and nestled herself comfortably. Oooh! Villians!! She was even more excited now.

She picked up her mask kit and began to work on her masterpiece. She colored vigorously, but with pizzazz and attached strings to it.

When she finished, she leaned back in the chair and slipped on her Harley Quinn mask and waited for class to start.

Steelsheen 10-25-2012 04:44 AM

Ok so he's done a few more research on the comicverse so attending this Muggle Studies class wasnt as nerve wracking was the last one. The Ravenclaw spotted the decor and heard the music-- yup now they focus on the bad guys...

He settled onto a beanbag and spotted what looks to be mask-making materials. Eh, more artwork? But he wasnt much good with artsy stuff....

... there are some heroes and villains who dont bother with masks right?

feeheeheeny 10-25-2012 05:09 AM

Ugh.

Max loved Muggle Studies, but he still didn't know a whole lot about Muggle superheroes or anything of the sort. He was quite glad the last class's homework had been purely creative and he could embrace his inner superhero, but now... villains was the theme, it seemed. Max wasn't a villain, he couldn't relate with villains, and he didn't think he could name one Muggle villain if his life depended on it.

Upon entering the classroom and reading the board, Max grumbled unintelligibly and plopped onto the nearest navy bean bag chair. Did he have to? Though, he supposed it would be okay to draw a mask related to the superhero he had previously come up with for the homework. So maybe... he could do this? A bit? It wouldn't hurt to try.

Max picked up a blue marker from his basket and got to work.

FearlessLeader19 10-25-2012 05:17 AM

Jory was quite looking forward to this lesson. Villains! He thought they were just as cool as superheroes because without them they won't be any superheroes, right?

When he entered the room, the first thing that got his attention were the posters of villains all around the room. He knew most of their names though he recognised some by their faces. Loki stuck out, as he was he boy's favourite villain.

The Puff took a candy bar and some blue Kool Aid before making himself comfortable on one of the bean bags. As he munched on his candy bar, he worked on his mask. Loki inspired of course. Complete with the horns, and all.

Kimothy 10-25-2012 05:18 AM

Muggle Studies was next, as Kat saw on her Class Schedule. The blonde walked to the classroom. When she arrived, Professor Cerulean wasn't there yet. Kat initially hated taking the subject, but she's grown to have respect for it since they had various activities that are fun and everything.

...

Why the firsties. Kat was somehow ALONE with the firsties. Good Merlin. Kat hates dealing with firsties... specifically one from Gryffindor and one from, she's sorry, Slytherin. Cough, cough. Does that ring a bell to anyone? Hopefully, yes. But Kat took a seat far awaaaaay from the firsties. Bless them, but Kat isn't comfortable with it.

Design the mask? Glancing at the Puffer firstie, Kat saw that the Puff had gotten her idea for Catwoman already. Oh gawwwwwd. Pssssssssssssssh... alright then, Kat decided on Batgirl. NO ONE JUDGE HER. NAW.

Design. Color. Color. Color. MORE COLOR. Bit of black there. Actually, it was ALL BLACK. Then.... last bit of coloring.

She was finished. Yeah.

FireboltSword 10-25-2012 06:16 AM

Befelda suddenly woke up from her seat, didn't realize that she's been sleeping for couple of minutes on her seat. Having a hard time opening her eyes, she noticed that several students have arrived and are busy creating their masks. Some are still coloring and designing their masks and some are done and are ready for class.

She fixed herself from her seat and ate the goodies she got from the table.

Deezerz 10-25-2012 06:46 AM

Getting back into routine, Kennedy made his way to the Muggle Studies classroom. He blinked at the room's decoration once he entered. Villains, it seemed today. He scanned the room and found two of his favorite. Magneto and Loki. Yep.

He spotted the beanbags and internally groaned. Kennedy liked Muggle Studies, don't get him wrong, buuuuut...he'd rather not sit so close to the ground. Oh, well. He sat on a random beanbag, nodding as greeting to several students as he passed. Looking to his side, Kennedy found several materials. Ahhh. He knew what they were doing.

Double checking, he glanced at the board and it confirmed his guess. Villain masks it was!

sweetpinkpixie 10-25-2012 07:17 AM

Squirming before she even entered the classroom, Kurumi adjusted the strap on her bag and pushed open the door. More decorations. More food. No desks. Sigh.

Bypassing all the food and finding a beanbag chair, Kurumi sat down and set her bag next to her before taking out her parchment and quill. She then noticed the mask template beside her and then the note saying that it was expected that they be wearing one whenever the professor decided to make her appearance. Really? Kurumi didn't want to dress up...all the food and decorations were already a distraction...

Picking up the mask and some scissors, Kurumi cut it down a little more narrower and gave each side of the mask three 'wings.' She didn't add any color or anything more, just a simple white mask that sort of resembled fancy goggles instead of a proper 'mask' as it were.

Why were they making masks anyway? Not all villains or superheros wore masks... In fact, you could sore of argue that the glasses Superman wore when he wasn't Superman served as a mask.

Mask made, Kurumi simply set it on her lap for now. If they really HAD to she would put it on...Maybe she would make the eye holes a little bigger...so they were even more like glasses and she could see out of them without too much of a problem. Even less of a distraction that way.

lazykitty 10-25-2012 08:45 AM

Entering the Muggle Studies classroom, Emmanuelle saw that it was decorated pretty much the same way it had been for the last lesson, except for villains instead of superheroes. She grabbed herself a handful of candy and some Kool Aide before picking out a beanbag and plopping down in it. And they had to make a mask? Okay then. Em carefully placed her drink down on the floor and picked up her mask template and some scissors. She carefully cut around the mask, till she had one that looked kind of cat like. Then she colored it black with a marker, attached the string, and slipped it on. There, ready!

Daydreamer11 10-25-2012 09:30 AM

Alex entered the classroom and looked around for a moment. There was some very creepy music playing and......Kool-Aid! Alex loved red Kool-Aid and it was not something easily found in the wizarding world. Can you say quick sugar rush? She took a glass and proceeded to find an empty bean bag chair among the many scattered around the room.

Alex found a red chair to match her Kool-Aid and sat down. Aaaaah, man these seats were comfortable. Good thing she had a sugary drink or she might just fall asleep. Seeing the note on the board, she began to rummage through the nearby basket for supplies to make her mask. Who would she choose as the subject of her mask? Should she go with good or evil? After much thought, she chose....Cat Woman and got to work.

Bazinga 10-25-2012 12:35 PM

Minerva walked into class and smiled. It was always interesting to see what Professor Cerulean did to the class. It had never been the same in four terms. Seeing the posters and the music made her giggle a bit, but what caught her eye was the candy. She practically skipped to the table and filled up a bag. All her candy was locked in the common room and she was going nuts without it. If only the Professor would have some pop instead of Juice, but she wasn't going to complain, it least it was a sugar drink. That would have to hold her until she could get into her bloody trunk for her diet coke.

After getting her bag of candy and her drink she looked around and smiled at the others in the room. "Hi" she said to the ones she recognized and to the ones she didn't it was always nice to meet knew people. Finding a bean bag that looked very comfy, Minerva sat down and began to eat some of her candy.

Princesspower 10-25-2012 02:19 PM

Sarah was not so excited for yet another lesson on superheros... these people were not her superheros yet school was school and she came anyway.. after all she was learning new things. She had gone to the library in the interim and read a lot of books on superheros and things so now she was more prepared then before. She could not stand some superhero outfits though. Like Miss Victory had like so much bosom showing it was repulsive... and they all were such tight clothes you could kind of know what was there.

She sat down on one of the bean bags and read the note on the board. She then reached for the mask and cut it into the sterotypical super hero mask... black just like bat man wore and Miss America wore. She could decided later. Lady Luck wore a green mask though. she coloured away with her markers and cut it just the right shape.

TakemetotheBurrow 10-25-2012 02:40 PM

Max is here :)

Ellawoman entered the Muggle Studies classroom and BEAMED excitedly. She was super excited to continue discussing all things superhero related, even if they would be discussing the dark side of things during this lesson. She could totally do that. Mhm!

Eyes scanning the room, the third year noted that Theoman hadn't yet arrived. Shrug. She was sure her partner in crime fighting would turn up eventually, knowing how excited he was about the lesson too.

The small blonde then spotted her Hogwarts older brother and GRINNED. Max! BEAM. She hurried over and plopped down beside him, giving him a warm smile. "Hello!" Oh! And they were meant to create a mask? That was quite cool. Ella decided to make an Ellawoman one, of course. Grabbing a pink marker, the third year started carefully drawing ice cream cones on the blank mask, a small smile on her face. This was going to be the best mask ever!

DecemberMoon 10-25-2012 03:04 PM

Eliza was happy to come to the Muggle Studies class again. Last time it had been fun, so she was sure this time wouldn't disappoint either. Sure enough, when she entered the classroom things looked as festive as ever. She liked the dark colors the professor had used for villains instead of heroes this time. She grabbed some sweets again from the refilling table and plopped herself down onto a bean bag.

These really are super comfy, she thought, which made her picture a super hero bean bag with a cape like they had in last class with the words SuperComfy on it. She giggled quietly and began to decorate her mask as the professor's note instructed. Hmmm...how to do it. She decided it would be like a fox, to match her hair. She colored it in with reds, oranges, and browns - then added some whiskers to top it off. She didn't put it on yet, because she felt a bit sillier with a mask than she had with a cape, so she sat and waited for the professor to get there.

Lezleighd 10-25-2012 03:13 PM

HEY EVERYONE!!!! *huggles you all*

Peeking it to see if everyone was seated and safe, Gemma took a quick breath in and flicked her wand. Instantly all of the lights in the room went out, leaving the classroom completely dark.

From all around the students came an evil laugh that echoed through the classroom and then disappeared. Then at the front of the room a video started playing on the Screen hanging from the ceiling.

Link to Villians Montage Video

When the video ends, the lights slowly come back up in the classroom and Professor Cerulean is standing at the front of the room. She is dressed as one of her favorite Comic Superhero, the Dark Phoenix. It was hard for her decide between Poison Ivy and Dark Phoenix but the Phoenix won out in the end.

SPOILER!!: Dark Phoenix Costume...sorry it was the best I could find

Standing in a very powerful stance, she smiles at the class and says, "Welcome everyone to our second Muggle Studies class!" she glances around the room and takes note of the different masks and of those not wearing one. "Thank you for coming and to those that followed the first directions on the board." she said the last in a passive aggressive voice trying to get her point across that she didn't appreciate those not willing to participate....it was just for fun and she always tried to make things a little bit different than usual lessons...you know the boring ones in the castle.

"Last time we did a brief introduction to Muggle Superheroes...I hope some of ya'll had a chance to sneak to the library and check out some of the books and comics dealing with those Superheroes we discussed." she said finally sinking into her usual positive attitude and demeanor.

"Can anyone remember the name of a superhero and their power that we discussed last time?" she asked glancing around the classroom at all of the faces.

OOC: Okay class has officially started, so that means conversations should be ending. Please remember to raise your hand before you answer a question and try not to repeat others' answers. And remember Gemma is always watching you...dun dun dun duuuuuunnnnnn! :glomp:

FearlessLeader19 10-25-2012 03:42 PM

Jory was startled when the lights went out suddenly. And even more so when came that evil laugh. He watched the video with interest as it began to play. Just as in the first class, except it was all about villains now.

When the lights came back on, Professor Cerulean was standing before them. The boy though she looked...amazing, in her costume.
Quote:

"Can anyone remember the name of a superhero and their power that we discussed last time?"

He raised his hand. "There's Hulk,'' the boy said. "When his alter ego, Dr. Benner is all big and green, he has unlimited strength.''

Kmaeh 10-25-2012 03:56 PM

Yesssssss, Muggle Studies! Theo hadn't made half as much effort with this class as he had done last lesson, but he WAS still wearing his Theoman t-shirt. He hoped that would be okay with the professor. Anyway, the mask - Theo filled it with different shades of green and popped it straight on his face. It worked.

His eyes glimmered in adoration at the super villains video. Not that he supported villains, but they MADE the story a story, you know?

So, cool.

"Spiderman." He finally said, before ANYONE else got a chance to. "He shoots webs and flies from building to building." And it was pretty darn cool... Not AS cool as Theoman, though.

Princesspower 10-25-2012 04:09 PM

Sarah raised her hand, hope pf the lesson being on a different topic were fading so rapidly. "Superman can fly like a bird in the sky without a broomstick or any other device... I think there Voldemort did that also though" she said. And her mom's super power was fitting so much into her day.

Kimothy 10-25-2012 04:20 PM

Superhero! From the previous lesson, at least. Trying to remember the heroes and heroines they discussed that were in this Muggle comics, Kat's hand shot up in the air. She had an answer.

"The heroine Storm, Professor," Kat said. That silver-haired woman was awesome in Kat's opinion. "Her alter-ego was Ororo T'Challa, but was before Ororo Munroe. She can manipulate the weather into whatever she likes." Storm was a powerful heroine, in Kat's opinion. Someone who can manipulate the weather?

... Wow.

TakemetotheBurrow 10-25-2012 04:48 PM

So the Super Villain video was SERIOUSLY cool and Ella watched with a huge grin on her face. She didn't support the evilness obviously, but superheroes needed villains so they'd have something to do. DUH. Besides, going on missions to stop bad guys was just plain cool! BEAM.

As for a superhero and power that had been discussed last time, Ella remembered exactly who she had talked about. It was Falcon! Raising her hand, she bounced excitedly. "Professor, Falcon is a superhero who works with Captain America and he can communicate with birds." Beam.

Deezerz 10-25-2012 04:50 PM

Kennedy was just finishing his mask of when class began in quite the fashion again. He sat it down on his lap and shrugged a little at it. It sort of resembled the Phantom of the Opera's mask, except his had a snake at the side and the nose holes resembled that of a snake. Yep, a very Slytherin-ish villain mask if you asked him.

After the video was over his eyes fell on the professor and...well, well, well. Professor Cerulean looked really really nice in that suit. Hehe. Oh, right! Class has started.

The Prefect shook his head a little and set his mind on the question. Superheroes...hmm? They talked about so many, could he just name them all instead of choosing just one? Probably not, heh. Kennedy raised his hand, still pondering on his answer, but quickly decided once he opened his mouth to speak. "There was Cyclops. He shoots powerful lasers from his eyes." Yep.

Lissy Longbottom 10-25-2012 05:39 PM

Superheroes was actually one of the ONLY things Alex knew about when it came to the muggle world. He had begged him mum to buy comics for him after he sped through all the Marvin the Mad Muggle issues, and when he realized that muggles SORT OF believed in magic and special powers, he was hooked. He knew about all of them--Batman, Superman, Spiderman, the X-Men, too many to count!

He looked at the masks and after a moment of hesitation, grabbed a superhero mask. He was going to make himself Super!Badger for today!! Bringing pride to the Hufflepuffs yo. As he decorated, class began and he raised his hand. A better question would be who DIDN'T he remember.

"There's Wolverine, he has super claws that can cut through anything," he explained.

feeheeheeny 10-25-2012 06:06 PM

Well that was dramatic.

Professor Cerulean could never have a dull class. He didn't really expect anything less, he supposed.

There was only really one that Max really remembered instantly - the symbol of the bat symbol Cerulean had showed them came to mind from the last class. He set his nearly finished mask in his lap, offered a hand in the air, and spoke, "Err, there's... the Batman? You said he doesn't really have superpowers." Max thought that was cool. "He's a billionaire, right? He just... has a lot of cool gadgets and stuff to help him fight crime and be more of a... natural superhero, kind of." At least that's what he had gathered.

Weasley174 10-25-2012 06:16 PM

Laura looked at the Professor and smiled, she wasn't sure what she could remember from that lesson. "Professor well there is Iron Man, doesn't he use a shield or something, I'm not really sure though." Laura couldn't remember what his special power was.

Anna Banana 10-25-2012 06:38 PM

No, Sierra really didn't remember any of the superheroes they'd discussed in the last lesson. She hadn't even known them in the first place, really. She'd just sat there and followed along the best she could. That was the bad part about being a pureblood in a Muggle Studies class. You came unprepared, very unprepared, most of the time.

...but not this time. Sierra had actually gone to the library and read up a bit on what the lesson was about. The professor had suggested that the last time they'd had class. When the first question was asked, Sierra raised her hand along with the others. She'd suddenly remembered a superhero and yes, she had a good reason why. Thank you, DADA. "I remember Spiderman," she said. "We took a potion and cast a spell in DADA that made us climb the wall like Spiderman."

Expecto-Penguin 10-25-2012 07:47 PM

Belle saw the video and was amazed by it all. She actually like the Villians of the comic books. They were just as important as the hero. They had backgrounds that made them that way. Belle heard the professor's question of what hero they studied last time and what their powers remember. Belle heard Spiderman, Batman, Falcon, the Hulk, Iron Man. Belle remembered she dressed up as Iron Man last class XD.

Belle raised her hand and said, "Professor i remember we learned about the hero Thor. He is the God of Thunder and heir to the throne to Asgard."

Lezleighd 10-25-2012 08:17 PM

Gemma shook her head at each of the students' answers and was even impressed by the SLYTHERIN (=0]) Prefect's answer. She beamed at the young girl, "Sierra, great job at connecting this to DADA. Two points for Slytherin!" yes she loved when students tried to connect MS with something else they had learned.

She continued on, "Great list of superheroes from last time!" she said raising her hands in the air excitedly. "Well, you can't have a superhero without an arch nemesis for them fight against. It's just like in literature where you must have a protagonist and an antagonist in a story..." yes she was relating this lesson with one of her lessons from last term and she hoped some of the students caught the vocabulary and the connection.

The professor walked a little bit closer to one of the posters of the villains and glanced at the evil grin of the Joker, "Just like in fairy tales, our superhero stories also have a villain that they must fight. In some of the stories these villains have superpowers that they use for evil...some have lots of money that they use to corrupt the world and those around them...and some are just plain evil..." she let the last word slither off her tongue with distaste.

"How bout everyone share a villain from your favorite movie or story, fictional or nonfictional....this doesn't have to be a superhero villain...just any villain in general from the Muggle or Wizarding world..." she asked the question and then answered her own question, "One of my most favorite villains is Ursula from Disney's the Little Mermaid." she shared her choice and then glanced out at the students to encourage their answers.

OOC: Okey dokey...it's your turn....remember to raise your hand before you answer and not to repeat others' answers. We'll be back later tonite to continue the lesson. If you need to catch up, remember to put that somewhere in your title. Thanks everyone!

DecemberMoon 10-25-2012 08:18 PM

Wow, she really likes to go all out! Eliza admired the enthusiasm. Some witches and wizards weren't interested in muggle studies, so this was definitely a good way to get students involved. She put on her fox mask now, seeing that the professor was in costume and all.

She raised her hand and said, "There's Wonder Woman, Professor. She has an invisible jet and a lasso and is really strong and fast." How cool is that though, invisible plane? At least until you can apparate. She put her hand down and adjusted the mask on her face. It was itching her nose a bit, but she'd survive.

Steelsheen 10-25-2012 08:39 PM

oops catching up

Errrr wha?.... But there are heroes and villains who doesnt wear masks. Reluctantly Vickers dug into the artsy basket and started to draw a face, poke holes where eyes should be, draw a line for the nose and poked a larger hole for the mouth. He was trying to make it look like Lex Luthor, but as he slipped it on it looked more like Dr. Doom's mask.

All he needs to do is to pull his robe's hood up and the costume is complete. That or look like a Deatheater....

Now as for the hero question. Up goes the hand "Professor there is Captain Marvel, he has similar powers to Superman in that he can fly and has super strength and invulnerability and has the power to call down magical lightning"

And then there was the villain part. Well the benefit of being somewhat force to make a mask for it, but which one now.... Up goes the hand again "Professor there's Lex Luthor, who is the arch nemesis of Superman. He doesnt have any powers like the Man of Steel but he is incredibly cunning and tenacious"

MudInMyBlood 10-25-2012 08:46 PM

Catching Up! :D

Muggle Studies...she still didn't know why she was even here because this is the one class that her parents would understand about if she didn't attend. She noticed all the muggle super heroes posters on the wall. They were still on this? Sigh. She pretty much exhausted all of her knowledge on the subject during the first lesson. She plopped down on a green bean bag chair and eyed the basket beside it. Masks! Did the professor really want her to do this? Ughh! Was it too late to leave? She sucked it up and took the mask out of the basket and colored the whole thing green... Slytherin green. There you go... that was all she was going to do.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great she was asking if they remembered any of the super heroes that they had talked about before. Surely she could remember at least one of them. Most of the other students had already said the main ones. There's gotta be another one. She just had to think. Oh yes, of course... "There's Aquaman and he was most powerful with things that involved water." she said with a raised hand. That sounded like a horrible explanation but she got her point across.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her favorite? She didn't know about anything muggle related being her favorite, but she would tell her the first thing that came to her mind. "There's Joker...he fought against Batman." she said while having her hand raised.

TakemetotheBurrow 10-25-2012 09:34 PM

Ella listened to Professor Cerulean, a small smile on her face. When the woman said something about some villains being just plain evil, she couldn't help but think of a certain Professor who she'd dubbed an evil genius. He could definitely be someone's arch nemesis.

As for Ella's favorite villain from a book or movie, it was also Ursula. But seeing as Professor Cerulean had already said that one, she decided to go with her second favorite. "Professor, The Queen of Hearts from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a villain." And she was quite a crazy one too. "She's always angry and constantly ordering for people's heads to be cut off." Yeah...Ella would never want to live in that kind of kingdom.

Expecto-Penguin 10-25-2012 10:12 PM

Belle was loving the Professor's lecture. She was really into the whole super villain aspect. Belle had a huge smile on her face. Then the professor asked for a super villain from a story fiction or non fictional from a book or a movie. Belle thought back to a Disney Movie she loved....Belle then decided which villain stuck out in her memory.

"Professor...there is a movie called the Great Mouse Detective...the villain was the evil Professor Ratigan. He even denied about being a rat come to think of it. It was my favorite movie when i was little."

Eliza knew a lot of the references would probably still be from super hero movies, but she had always liked one from a muggle movie, so she decided to talk about that.

She raised her hand and said, "There is a character named Victor from a muggle movie called Underworld. He's an elder vampire and...well I don't want to give it all away, but he is conflicted by what he thinks he has to do and what he actually wants to do...sort of. Anyway he's really powerful and strong and old." She wondered if anyone else had seen those movies as she sat and listened to the other students.

Louisa was still working on the mask of her she-hero of choice when the professor announced the beginning of class. Ugh, her brothers would be happily thrilled in this class, she missed them. Maybe she could take the mask they were making home with her? She'll ask professor Cerulean when class was over.

Superhero. Okay, hand in the air and try not to repeat a name. "There is Rogue from the X-Men movie. A young girl who can absorb the strength of someone by touching them." Louisa wasn't sure if the girl was considered a superhero or not but she DID fight against evil with the other mutants so.

Hmmm. Villains were more interesting to her, not because she liked the dark side or anything but because they usually were more realistic to the superheroes who were too righteous. Like Vashti. Anyways, hand in the air again. "Poison Ivy is one, professor. From the Batman fandom. She used an overdose of plant and animal based toxins on her blood stream which made her touch deadly. She can also control minds, although strong minded people are able to resist." Louisa thought this villain interesting the most because she was so united with nature you'd think she was cool, but noooo she used Mother Earth as a weapon.

To be honest, Vivi still wasn't sure she got this class. Sure, she'd read all the books in the library and had pumped poor Vickers for information, but she was just missing the fascination. Which was a shame, because most subjects did fascinate her.

But she'd try, and maybe the professor would know she was trying and would appreciate it. She gave Vick a confident nod before raising her hand. "Martian... Manhunter who is green and has big pectoral muscles and came from Mars. And sometimes is called by J'onn J'onzz, but I do not believe anyone is fooled. Oh, and also, he's in the Justice League, which I think sounds pretty legit. I'd like to be in a Justice League."

Oh, villain from anywhere? That was hard, because she had stories she loved with villains, and then there was her superhero research, that she really ought to use. Vivi squirmed a bit in her beanbag chair before raising her hand again.

"Erm... Callisto, Professor. She sort of went back and forth from being a villain to being part of the good guys because she was just trying to find a place where she fit and people who accepted her for who she was. Plus her name is from Greek mythology, which is cool." FYI. Vivi could respect a villain who hadn't figured it all out yet, AND who didn't have a superpower that consisted of wearing tight clothes.

The lights going down didn't really bother Emmanuelle, after all, she had never really been afraid of the dark. The booming evil laughter however.... well that made her jump about ten feet in the air. She quickly pulled out her wand and looked around, alarmed, before realizing that it had just been a recording and nothing was about to get her. Her fear had knocked all memory of superheroes out her mind though, so she just sat there listening while other answered the question.

The next question left her a bit baffled as well. Em didn't really have a habit of liking villains in movies or television. Well except one, but he wasn't really a villain anymore. So, she tried to come up with another. Which was harder than it seemed. Most of the ones she kept coming up with were from scary movies, which she didn't think would go over very well. Finally, one did come to mind and she raised her hand to answer. "I like Cruella de Ville from 101 Dalmatians, the live action one."

Minerva was eating her candy when she heard the music. Professor knew how to make an entrance didn't she. Smiling she watched as class started and that was when she realized she ate to much candy and forgot to make her mask. Hurrying she started making her mask wanting it to be awesome. If she was going to be an evil character well then she had to have an awesome mask. She listened as the first question was asked, raising her hand, "Professor, last time I had mentioned the Power rangers and their power really wasn't a power but a skill. They had ninja training so they used that." She then listened to the other answers..

Minerva finished up on her mask, was she suppose to put it on she wasn't to sure. Taking a bit more candy she listened as the professor talked again. She wanted to Roll her eyes when the Slytherin got two extra points, but she forced herself not to.Then the next question about villains came.. hmm could she even think of a villain. She was lucky to know the little she did about super heroes. Raising her hand, "Professor there is the Shredder from Ninja Turtles. He was a very mean villain that was the leader of the foot clan." She put her hand down and listened to everyone else answer.

Oakey couldn't pass up this question. Name a villain? Please he was the most villainy villain of anyone else in this room even more so than he Professor.

adjusting his masksome because it was slightly uncomfertable to wear Oakey spoke up. 'Prfferer, Bnnn ifa vllln fm Bamn." Oakey paused for a moment and listened to himself. The Bane mask seemed like an awesome idea at the time until he just tried speaking through it. Yanking the top piece off and over his head the rest of the mask followed and he set it down beside him. "What I meant to say was. Bane is a Batman Villain that has actually managed to defeat him in combat. " He looked down at the mask beside him now, Oakey just looked like he was wearing a simple Pilot's Jacket now with Cargo pants. His costume didn't mae any sense without the mask. So as soon as as finished answering the question he quickly slipped the mask bak on over his face.

Alex thought about a good villain. Instead of going with the subject of her mask, Cat Woman, she had another answer in mind. She raised her hand and said, "Professor, I have a villain to share. In the story of Cinderella, the evil stepmother is the villain. The two stepsisters are like the co-villains, because they are all very mean to Cinderella."

Mask still resting on her lap, Kurumi slipped off her shoes so she could cross her legs and sit a little more relaxed like in her beanbag - and just in time it seemed as the lights went off, there was another video montage, and the professor made another grand appearance. All to which Kurumi simply took out her parchment and quill and set it half hazardously on her lap.

Library? Kurumi had been there...but her research had been on other things - creature related and pertaining to the jewels in the hourglasses. Maybe next time she would go check out some superhero book or comic.

And for review...Kurumi waited a moment, listening to what the others ha to say and trying to avoid repeating the same answer she had last time. Only the moment she thought about sharing someone else, they were crossed off her parchment of notes. So...repeat it was once her hand was raised. "There is Sailormars, a famous superhero from Japan, and she has the power to control fire and is the reincarnation of the Princess of Mars."

All said in a small voice because Kurumi felt overtly shy about not being able to venture outside of her box on the subject.

Cue another small eyebrow raise from the Gryffindor as she waved her quill over her parchment and kind-of-sort-of took notes. Really? Still trying to make up to Sierra for mistaking her house by buying her off with points? Well, actually...that WOULD work with Sierra and was Kurumi allowed to have negative thoughts about the Slytherin now that they were kind-of-sort-of friends? If Kurumi had connected the fire reading to Divination she was pretty sure she would not have been rewarded with points...so what was the Muggle Studies professor up to?

Kurumi smelled conspiracy. Yep.

Wait...favorite nonfictional villain? Kurumi sort of found that a subjective option and returned her thoughts to the comics she had managed to sneak peeks at growing up. Okay, so she needed to move away from the magical girl area a little or else her cheeks were going to glow an even deeper shade of pink. So, hand up it was. "Sesshomaru from Inu Yasha. He is a extremely powerful full-blooded demon and his name translates roughly to 'Killing Perfection.'" Although...he sort of had some redeaming qualities in the end. All the villains she had grown up with did really...it was what made their stories so complicated and interesting. It wasn't just black and white.

Awarlesta Black 10-26-2012 02:21 AM

Awar raised her hand, "One of my favorite villians is Harley Quinn" She pointed to the mask on her face. "She started off a sidekick to the Joker in Batman and then joined forces with Poison Ivy."

Jory listened to the other students' responses before raising his hand."Professor, in a kids' show called Power Rangers Samurai there's a villain named Decker.'' And he was half human, half alien or something. Sure Power Rangers was a kids show but the Puff still loved to watch re-runs. He grew up watching the franchise.

Super villians! Talk about A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Kat tried to remember who those super villians in the video were. She knew some because she did go have a sleepover at a Muggle friend's house before attending Hogwarts. They watched different movies there and Kat was fond of some of those movies. Especially all the action movies and the occasional humor that accompanied them as well. Kat raised her hand as she remember one of them. "I remember Captain Hook from the video you showed us, Professor," Kat said with a smile. "He really likes to foil Peter Pan and he wants him to..." Scared of the word, Kat? "...die."

So she had been sitting quietly. Because she has poor knowledge of the muggle world. But she was here for that reason too. Her father urged her to take this subject in order to know about the muggles. And actually knowing about their life is interesting actually.

And so far she had no answer to the questions until this one. A villian? She only knows one muggle story. Liam her nextdoor neighbor had told her about it. The second-year raised her hand and spoke. "There's Captain Hook from Peter Pan." She didn't know much about him but she knew that he was evil!

While still eating candies, she was surprised when the lights went out then heard an evil-ish laugh from the background. Hmm... I reckon it's another trick of Professor Cerulean for the start of her class. Then a video started from somewhere. After the video had finished, lights are turning on slowly and a superhero nor villain in a fierce costume appeared in front. It was Professor Ceraleun.

And now, to discuss the last lesson. Befelda raised her hand and answered, "Professor, there's Captain America, he was once a very thin man who wants to be part of the army who in time became a super soldier after administering an experiment on him.", she answered.

...and then she raised her hand.

"You know, Professor, I'll admit to knowing next to nothing about the Muggle ways of living, but last lesson you gave us some advice. Alex usually didn't pay much attention to his sister during lessons, but he raised an eyebrow when Sierra described her villain. She did WHAT to PUPPIES?? She sounded almost worse than Voldemort! Leave it to Sierra to bring up a psychotic puppy murderer as her selection.

He shook his head to try and get rid of the puppy murdering mental image she had just evoked and raised his hand. "Professor, my favorite villain is definitely Loki, Thor's brother and the God of Mischief. I really feel for him--granted he doesn't need to be a jerk, but I know what it's like to constantly be overlooked by other siblings and can relate to him. He just wants to be liked and appreciated, he just takes it a BIT far," he explained.

He reached out for the parchment handed to him and for a while stared back at the Professor's receding figure. But.... he didnt want to be a villain. He didnt feel like one. So yeah maybe he imagined he was tougher and braver and brasher than what he really feels like most of the time but that didnt really make him anywhere near villainous did it? He wished that he could be more heroic, rather than being some pathetic bystander or mousy side-kick.

He glanced down slowly at the parchment in his hand. It wasnt that long of a quiz, so with an inward sigh Vickers took his quill and started ticking off the answers to the questions....

... the result was nothing like what he'd imagined-- or knew.

SPOILER!!: gosh golly rotfl!

He grabbed his superhero encyclopedia and looked up this villain called MYSTIQUE. She was a blue, shape shifting woman....

Really? Shape shifting like Martian Manhunter? but from a completely different franchise

He wasnt quite sure how to feel about being likened to a blue shape-shifting woman, although goodness knows that color selection was quite interesting given that he was also a Claw. He glanced at the next villain that was actually at par with Mystique and it was the Green Goblin. Now that sounded more familiar he mused as he flipped through the pages and reviewed the synopsis on the character. Yeah much closer to who he felt he was.... kinda. If he had an ego the size of the Empire state building.

He stood and meandered for a bit, wondering which of the posters he should stand under.... Eventually he decided to go stand between the two posters, Mystique and the Green Goblin (and perhaps leaning just a bit more towards the brilliantly crazy villain's side) and started to wonder what the implications of this could mean if he gave in to his impulses much like what the villains did.....

feeheeheeny 10-26-2012 09:01 PM

A survey? Aw man. But... it was a fun kind. It wasn't for a grade, right? Still, Max wasn't a villain, he didn't want to be like a villain, and upon behind handed a survey, he wrinkled his nose at it. It was just for enjoyment, right? It didn't... actually mean he was like a bad guy.

With that in mind, Max took the survey. When he was finished, he set his quill down and waited for his result to pop up. As it did, Max laughed.

The Joker?

You are a brilliant mastermind but are criminally insane. You love to joke around while accomplishing the task at hand. Ha. The last part was pretty true - what was the point in doing things if he couldn't enjoy them? So... maybe that wasn't so bad. But criminally insane? That was humorous. Brilliant? Eh. Mastermind? ... Definitely not.

Wait... wait. Wasn't that Batman's villain counterpart? Hadn't people just said that in class? So that was cool, except now Max's knowledge of Muggle superheroes and villains only remained in the realm of Batman. But he was okay with that. Wordlessly, he got up from his beanbag chair, set his mask on it, gave Ella a pat on the knee, and walked over the poster someone had gestured to earlier while talking about the Joker. He re-read his quiz in hand as he waited for others to finish. There were probably going to be many Jokers, he figured. A lot of people had the same sense of humor, didn't they?

"Once you have your answer, if you will stand up and go stand by the poster that matches your match." she said motioning to the various posters around the room.

Vivi puzzled over the survey, considering some of the questions were a bit obscure. She hurried through to the results, if only because she didn't want to be a villain and didn't have a preference for which villain she would end up being.

Once she got her result, she tilted her head and frowned. The Joker? Male and rather... disturbing looking. At least he wasn't wearing tight clothes and lacked personality, right?

"I don't want to be criminally insane," she whispered to Max as she took a spot near him and near their Joker poster. She didn't, either. She wanted to be a sane mastermind.

TakemetotheBurrow 10-26-2012 09:24 PM

A survey eh? Blink.Blink. But Ella was nothing like super villains! She was an ice cream eating, hug giving super hero! She didn't want to be evil. Frown. In fact, homegirl had like zero evil bones in her little body. It did make her curious though...the survey. If she had to be a villain for some reason, she wondered which type she would be. Hopefully not the super scary crazy killing kind. That wouldn't be good.

After she was finished, Ella eyed the results with an amused smile. Mystique? Hmm...That didn't sound like her at all! Mystique was ...BLUE! And apparently she was a vixen, whatever that meant. And she was deceptive too! Frown. Oh well, it was what it was...

She gave Max a small smile as she felt a pat on her knee, watching as he walked over to where the Joker poster was. Hmmm...Now that would have been a cool villain to get.

With a quiet sigh the third year stood up and headed towards the poster of Mystique, eyeing the older boy who was standing nearby. So he was a blue vixen too? CURIOUS. Grin.

Cassia took the the survey and laid it on her desk. She fished a quill out of her bag and started reading the questions. She paused at each one considering it and wanting to answer accurately. She didn't want to end up matched with not a cool villain. Though it didn't really matter they were going to be matched with villain. All villains were kinda cool actually, she had to admit.

So many questions...she thought. But she was enjoying answering them. Though some of them were odd. Like are you bald? But surely this quiz was for all to take so it had to be general. And once she was finished she waited for her result. Then a blue-ish woman....at least she appeared to be a woman..appeared. Cassia narrowed her eyes at her. She ,of course, didn't recognize this particular villain. Must be a muggle related one. She then started reading the description. Motherly and beautiful...that was cool. And then she noticed that there were other possibilities listed. Green Goblin..Cassia frowned. She didn't like being matched to a goblin! But it was green and she was Slytherin. Well, it wasn't really that convincing and besides she got the highest number on this redheaded woman who looked actually like the headmistress. The third option was Apocalypse. She didn't like the sound of it so she didn't continue the reading.

She rose from her seat her result in hand and started darting her eyes between the posters. She stood by the Blue woman and decided to stand here. The woman looked cool with the band she was wearing. And it was said that she was beautiful. So here she stands. Yup! She made a mental note to go to the library and look this villain up. She wanted to know what this woman did to deserve being called a villain, except being blue. And because she wasn't sure if they keeping the note or not she started copying the info. Making sure to focus on the words she liked.

Minerva listened to the Professor and the other students saying different villains. Wow there were so many villains that she didn't even really know. Then they were getting papers to do a quiz.. A quiz was always such a bad word at her muggle school, but this sounded kind of fun. Finding out what villain you could be. Min was a bit nervous to find out. She looked at the questions, hmm these were all very hard to answer. She found herself placing no on most, but she always laughed at the thought of someone else's answers. She knew most would be yes if she took this quiz.

Looking at the answers she looked at the results Mystique was the villain she was most like. She wasn't even sure who mystique was. Looking her up Minerva laughed a bit, shape shifter. That sounded fun, and exciting. Getting up Minerva made her way over to Mystique's poster and stood waiting for the other students to finish.

Holmesian Feline 10-26-2012 09:35 PM

Gideon had been listening to the class discuss super villians, the discussion going back and forth over his head. Literally at times seeing as he wasn't anywhere near even slightly knowledgeable of the topic at hand. Why worry about fake villains when you have a real villain in your life? No need for more dealings with evil needed to occupy his mind and memory thank you.

Then Professor Erulean moved them onto an exercise and he took a quiz from the woman as she made her way around the room. Then reading the questions thoroughly, the prefect tried to answer them all the best way possible, unsure what possible result he might actually come up with. When he was done, the charm did what it was told revealing his so-called supervillain personality.

Mr. Freeze.

"Well I do like the cold..." he mused with a shrug. Gideon got up from his seat and with parchment in hand moved over to the poster depicting the man in question. Bald head...red eyes. Quite a different appearance from his real self.

DuckyLinJi 10-26-2012 09:37 PM

A survey to test what super hero villian you were? Daichi didn't think he was a villian though, he liked being the good guy! Still, he took the piece of paper from the Professor and inspected the questions.

There were some pretty weird ones but he still opened up his school bag to grab a bottle of ink and a quill to write with. He dipped the quill in the ink and began to answer the questions by marking them.

After about three minutes, Daichi was done and checked his answer to see what he got. Two-face....he had no idea who that was...

The fifth year stood up from his beanbag and walked towards the poster that was his answer to the quiz and stood there waiting for the others to finish as well.

Lissy Longbottom 10-26-2012 09:44 PM

OOOH this was going to be fun! He wondered if he'd get Loki, since he'd shared that he rather felt for Loki before in the class. He was puzzled by some of these questions though--do you like the cold? Do you walk with a cane? Are you BALD? Merlin forbid he went bald!

He had no idea who his result was, though--Doctor Doom. Ok. Who was that? OH WAIT, he remembered now! That was the bad guy from the Fantastic Four right? Yes, he was pretty sure that was who it was. He was definitely clever like the quiz said, but burdened by vanity? Please, Alex was the least vain person ever. He'd basically not even cared that he had HAIR until a year ago when he chopped a bunch of it off. It was pretty safe to assume that appearance was pretty low on the list of important features to him.

Taking his results with him, he headed over to the corner with Doom's picture. Only Doctor Doom at the moment, it seemed. Huh.

AlwaysSnapesGirl 10-26-2012 09:55 PM

Oh. A quiz? Penelope frowned for a moment - she wasn't really a big fan of quizzes - but stopped once she had the paper in front of her. This didn't seem to bad. And it was supposed to tell them which villain they were most like? That seemed interesting. So Penelope shrugged and set about answering each of the questions as honestly as she could.

Once she was done, she sat back and waited for her result...

...Heh.

That was fitting actually. Especially considering the outfit she'd worn in the lesson about superheroes.

Smirking slightly, the second year got up and went to stand by the Catwoman poster. Seemed she was the only one there so far? Interesting. Heh.

Magical Soul 10-26-2012 09:57 PM

Oooh a quiz! How entertaining. Louisa had a big smile when she grabbed her own paper, staring down at the list of questions as the professor explained what they had to do. The Ravenclaw looked up at the row of posters, plenty of them were familiar to her while others missed names inside her head. Hmmm. Anyways, time to focus on answering the quiz. She liked the way the answers were kind of a range between the Yes and the No, she felt the quiz being a biiit reasonable this way.

Check..check...check...

As soon as she checked the last answer, the writings changed giving her the answer.

Louisa frowned down at Dr. Doom's name. NOT pleased.

Her eyes searched the class for Vickers and found him standing between two posters. He seemed deep in thought, did he absently lean toward one of them? Louisa was slightly perplexed. But she didn't pay much attention to it, she had more urging issues at hand, for example she was a DUDE villain who's not even a human apparently. Or just an ugly human. Call her shallow but she did care a bit.

At least she had Poison Ivy close after that? Her favorite villain. Sulking she dragged her feet over to Dr. Doom's posted and stood there with her arms crossed.

HMPH.

Kmaeh 10-26-2012 10:01 PM

OOOOOH - QUIZ TIME.

Theo did the said quiz, all anxious-like. He'd rather do a quiz being 'what superHERO are you?' but never mind. Once he was done, his eyes widened.

SPOILER!!: He's nawt happy
You are Venom - Strength, disguise and adrenaline are your greatest weapons.

Venom - 98%
Dark Phoenix - 88%
Dr. Doom - 85%
The Joker - 85%
Lex Luthor - 85%
Apocalypse - 85%
Mystique - 84%
Magneto - 83%
Juggernaut - 76%
Green Goblin - 76%
Riddler - 70%
Kingpin - 64%
Mr. Freeze - 56%
Catwoman - 55%
Two-Face - 52%
Poison Ivy - 40%

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO, this totally did not just give him the villain of his FAVOURITE superhero. Theo stared at the result for a while longer then took it up to the front next to Venom's poster. He wasn't sure what to be more freaked out about....

The fact that his match with Venom was a massive 98%, or that he was 55% like catwoman.

natekka 10-26-2012 10:10 PM

From where Bliss was sat, twiddling her thumbs, came a sigh. A quiz, as in, ticking boxes? That couldn't be tooo bad and she definitely wanted to know which villain she was most like. Not that she was anything evil anyway. BLINK. Moooving on. Bliss looked at the sheet that she now in front of her and filled it in.

Her results were...

The Joker.

SPOILER!!: The Joker? XD
The Joker 47%
Dr. Doom 45%
Mystique 44%
Green Goblin 44%
Lex Luthor 42%
Dark Phoenix 40%
Riddler 40%
Mr. Freeze 40%
Apocalypse 35%
Magneto 34%
Poison Ivy 34%
Venom 33%
Kingpin 32%
Catwoman 31%
Juggernaut 24%
Two-Face 12%

What? The Joker? Really? She wasn't criminally insane! Was she? ._.

With a blank face, Bliss got up and moved slowly to stand in front of the Joker poster. How...she still didn't understand. Never mind, it was just a silly little quiz.

BLINK.

Awarlesta Black 10-26-2012 10:34 PM

Awar took the quiz from the professor and immediately started on it. She counted up her results when she finished.

The Riddler.

Hmm, okay. That works.

She skipped over to the poster of The Riddler.

hermionesclone 10-26-2012 10:37 PM

Oh a survey! Awesome! Except... he didn't really know how he felt about knowing which villain he'd be. Because... well... villains were bad people right? And he didn't want to be a bad person! That was just... mean. Couldn't he just be Superman instead? He wanted to be Superman! Superman was AWESOME. GRIN.

Alec bent his head and started marking away his answers. But... some of the questions were a bit weird. And... well... he didn't really know how to answer them. Especially the hair ones. The idea of being bald scared him so much that the Hufflepuff started ruffling his hair, just to make sure that his locks were still in place. Good. He had hair. As for whether it was long... well, it was starting to get a bit long for a guy, right? When he flipped his hair, some of it still remained fairly close to his eyes.

Maybe he could get a haircut over the summer.

... No, wait, the survey! The boy shook his head and continued scribbling away, pausing only to make a face at some of the questions. (WHY WOULD HE BE MOTHERLY?! O_O) After he was done, he grinned at the survey and set his quill down. Yeah... he was ready to see his fate now.

...

SPOILER!!: DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!

...

WHAT?! Alec blinked down at his result. Venom?! Wasn't that the dude from Spiderman? You know... Spiderman's enemy. And... he was good at disguises? And and and... adrenalin was one of his greatest weapons? And STRONG?! At this, Alec look down at his right bicep and flexed it. ... Okay, he had a bit of a muscle but he was still pretty twig-like. So... what was this result talking about?

Wait, if Theoman was Spiderman (you know, in the Hogwarts superheroes list) did that mean that he, Alec, would have to go up against the nose whipper? Yeah... he did not know how he felt about that.

The fourteen year old shook his head and walked over to the Venom poster and stood right next to... Theoman. Awkward much?

Apocalypse anyone? heh

OOOHHH a quiz to find out what Villian they were!? this was totally cool. Ariana quickly began taking the quiz

No
no
no
ohh yes.
no
yes
yes

heh this was fun. once she finished the quiz she quickly closed her eyes not wanting to see the result. after a minute or so she opened her eyes and looked around the room some people were already standing under posters. and cool ones :whaa: ariana wanted a cool one. she looked down at her quiz to see her result... Apocalypse...

Bloody hell who was that!? the slytherin girl had no idea. she looked up and saw NO ONE under the poster yet. *groan* she read the description the quiz gave her for her villian 'You believe in survival of the fittest and you believe that you are the fittest.' nodding her head she agreed. that seemed very much like her. she put her quill down and skipped on over under her poster.

Weasley174 10-26-2012 10:55 PM

Laura looked at the Professor and then she took the Quiz and she was in totally shock at what came out.

SPOILER!!: Not true

Laura wasn't that bad was she. "Professor I don't think this is right, I mean no way am I this character." though she went and stood by the character it said she was even though she wasn't happy.

Belle said, "Thank you" to the professor when she gave her the villain quiz. She was kind of nervous of who she would turn out to be. As Belle was filling out the poster with typical Yes or No answers to the questions. She then compared her results and found out who she really was.

SPOILER!!: Belle's Results

Belle gave the quizzical look. She was spiderman's villain after all. That was pretty cool. She was quite proud of it. Belle was mostly running on adrenaline lately. Belle looked at Venom's Poster and thought he was pretty cool. He was strong and good at disguises. Belle nodded and even looked at the other posters for enjoyment.

Dustin slowly went through the quiz, methodically thinking about and answering each question. He was so focused, in fact, that he hadn't even realized that he had been chewing on the end of his quill! And now he had feathers all in his mouth. GROSS?

He spat a few times, trying to rid his mouth of the ATROCITIES that had made their way in there.

Am I a master of camoflauge? Dustin thought about it. Sometimes he confused himself with other people or who he wished he could be. He WISHED he could hide just about anywhere, but alas, it was not true. No, not really, he silently admitted.

Do I enjoy wearing skintight clothing? Umm....well...I wouldn't say I'd MIND it. Sure!

Am I bald? HECK NO! That's uncle Ian lolololllllllll

After scratching his head enough to pull out some hair, and finishing his quiz, he had his result.

Photos!: Drumroll, plz

"The Riddler, huh?" he mused. He figured that fit pretty well. He did like riddles, practical jokes, and being smart. Well...smart in the nontraditional way, but smart nonetheless.

Quite satisfied with his results, he made his way over to The Riddler poster. Sadly, he was all alone. Guess he was a bit of an outsider afterall...at least, so far.

*sad face*

Yourenodaisy 10-26-2012 11:37 PM

you Joker people :)

Emmaleigh found herself nodding a lot at Sierra's villain. Cruella De Vil was definitely one of the villains she disliked most. Taking one of the surveys, Em began to fill it out. It was really weird, and most of the questions got answered with a huge no. Cane? no. Bald? no. Orphan? no. Though some, like gardening, scar and practical joker got a yes. When she finished the survey, it showed her the villain she was supposed to be most like.

She read over the brief description and shrugged. She could work with it. Getting up from her seat, she looked around the room for the poster had the joker on it, and grinned when she saw a certain Ravenclaw standing under it. Heading over to those gathered, she handed her survey over to Max. “Look.” she said grinning. Turning to the others with her grin still plastered all over her face she looked to see who they were. A baby badger, and Vivi, both people she hadn't actually met yet. “Hey,” she said, falling in beside Max.

Mystique people ^__^ *edited image to comply with SS rules on weapons*

Accepting the quiz, Kurumi began to slowly fill it out an found herself puzzled over a few of the questions. How did you scale some of these things? She almost felt like passing her quiz over to Selina and asking her to fill it out for her because she had a better read on the seventh year than Kurumi did on herself most of the time. Finishing up the quiz, Kurumi set it down on her lap and waited for her results to show up. She sort of doubted that it would be anyone that she knew...but she could always hope.

And then her results came up...

Mystique? Cue some confused blinking from the Gryffindor as she flipped through the textbook until she came across a rather lengthy description of the villain. "Shape shifter..." she muttered under her breath as her body sort of hunched over to try and make herself a little smaller. Even in the nonmagical superhero universe she couldn't entirely escape who and what she was. Probably yet another sign that she shouldn't be so ashamed of it....but she had lived 17 years of her life doing just that.

Swallowing nervously, Kurumi read over the description to the right of her results. "Sometimes motherly, sometimes a beautiful companion, but most of the time a deceiving vixen..." Vixen? Wasn't that just the name of a female fox? Made sense. This woman was a shape shifter so she could change herself into a fox whenever she wanted to - which was apparently all the time - and foxes WERE great deceivers.

Standing up, Kurumi made her way over towards the poster matching the one that had appeared on her parchment and stood next to the two Hufflepuffs, Slytherin, and noted Vickers standing nearby.

Mystique people

A questionnaire?! Eliza loved surveys! She rushed through the answers as fast as she could to get her results. Some gave her pause and were a bit odd. Some didn't seem to fit her at all and others were close calls. She was glad they weren't straight yes or no answers because that would've been hard. When she got her results she wasn't sure they were quite right. I don't think I'm very...vixeny... or deceitful, but her powers are cool, so whatever. Poison Ivy would've been neat too but, I guess I'm not huge on plants all the time. Actually she'd rather be a superhero than the villain. She wondered if there was a survey for that too.

SPOILER!!: Results
MYSTIQUE -- Sometimes motherly, sometimes a beautiful companion, but most of the time a deceiving vixen

She walked over to join the other Mystique people , which was quite a lot. She wished she had been a less common character. She always liked being a little different from the crowd. I'm sure it will make the activity more fun with more people though, she thought.

Anna Banana 10-27-2012 02:39 AM

Team Dr. Doom XD I'm so amused Sierra and Alex got the same. LOL

A quiz? To see which villain they related to the most? Well, this should be interesting. Sierra grabbed a quill and set to work, filling out the answers as honestly as she could. Just a few minutes later, she was done. Hmm. That didn't take long. She set her quill down and looked at the quiz as she awaited her results.

A picture on the page finally formed:

Dr. Doom. Hmm. Looked sort of...greenish to her. Blessed by smarts and power but burdened by vanity? Ehh, whatever. Taking her paper, she retreated to the area for the Dr. Dooms. Oh, hey...look who else was here. "Hello, Alexander," she said, greeting her brother. Turning toward Louisa, she added, "Louisa," with a nod.

lazykitty 10-27-2012 03:01 AM

Mystique as well.....

Emmanuelle just stared down at her quiz for a second, not sure she really wanted to find out which villain she was most like. She really didn't think she was that evil at all. But again, it was just for fun. Besides, she was afraid that it would affect her grade if she didn't. After all, it was a class assignment, right? So she buckled down and completed the quiz. Once she had gotten her result, she just sat there staring at her quiz again. Mystique- sometimes motherly, sometimes a beautiful companion, but mostly a deceiving vixen. What even?! Deceiving, her? Nope. Well okay, maybe over things like who ate the last piece of cake, but everyone did that, didn't they? Anyway, she slipped off her bean bag and joined the others that had also gotten Mystique.

Kimothy 10-27-2012 04:54 AM

They were gonna take a quiz on which super villian they were. COOL, MAN. Kat answered the quiz as honestly as possible... Are you beautiful? Hell yes. Are you intelligent? ... What? Why were these questions kind of weird anyway? Being beautiful to be manipulative? Really? Muggles. *shakes head* Getting her result, she got...

"Who's Mr. Freeze?" SHE'S NOT EVEN A MISTER. But the joined the Mr. Freeze poster, who sadly is a loner. It was just Gert in there... She doesn't say she HATES him, it's that... He didn't have to punch Dylan. That was just... completely... paranoing as part of the Slytherin Team... But well...

Lizasaurus 10-27-2012 05:06 AM

Two-Faced anyone?

Working down the list of questions Isaac filled each one in chewing on his lip as he did so. It'd be funny to see which villian he truly was. When he got to the bottom he waited a moment before it the results appeared.

Ok then. Staring down at his result he wasn't sure what to think on that one.

FearlessLeader19 10-27-2012 05:16 AM

This was cool! Jory could hardly wait to see which villain he would be matched with. He began filling out the answers.

"Awesome,'' he said. Spiderman's enemy. The Puff scanned the place for the Venom poster then headed over to stand by it.

Catwoman

Anya carefully thought over the questions. If she was going to be a villain, she wanted to be an amazing one.

She filled out the questionnaire. Then she grinned at the results.

Catwoman. That was an acceptable villain who wasn't always a villain. But... it was strangely fitting.

She looked around the room and found the Catwoman poster... as well as Penne. "Shoulda known you'd be here too." she greeted with a smile.

Cora found the quiz extremely difficult, since she did not like to answer questions about herself. She wanted to quiz where you had to actually KNOW things. But Cora took the quiz.

SPOILER!!: Mystique

She was not sure how she felt about this. It could totally be someone worse, but Cora didn't like the idea of her being a super villain to begin with. "I'd rather be a superHERO," Cora said mostly to herself. Not that Mystique didn't suit her in ANY way. But Cora was NOT A VILLAIN.

lulz Team Mystique XD

As students started to rise from their bean bags Vickers gaze wandered from person to person, watching them take their positions under the poster. He noted how Vivi and Max stood under The Joker, who was his 3rd option villain. So did that mean both Vivi and Max can be criminally insane sociopaths? He turns his head when Louisa stood and positioned herself under Dr Doom. Hey that's his 3rd option too, well 4th, but it was at par with his Joker. He looked down at his quiz results again... its interesting how the first two were evenly scored and the next two were also at par, and that the difference between these two sets werent a lot.

By the time he looked up he realized that he was joined by other students under the Mystique banner. And.... they were ALL GIRLS.

He eyed Kurumi, Ella, a couple of Slytherins, and two fellow young Ravenclaws. He tried giving them a less than awkward smile as he moved to make a bit more room for them... which also meant he was inching closer under the GREEN GOBLIN banner. Werent there any other guys joining him huh?

Oooh, a quiz? That might be somewhat interesting.. Ethan took the parchment Cerulean was handing out and read over the questions. Taking a few minutes to think about the answer, the boy filled in his responses with his quill. He somewhat appreciated the fact that each question had a varying degree of response.. although he felt that some of them were more yes or no questions. Like you either had a horrible scar or didn't, right?

Once he was finished, Ethan watched with mild curiosity as the parchment began to change, interpreting his results. Uh.. what? The survey felt he related best to a girl?

Ethan stared at his result for a moment as he thought it over. He didn't know all that much about her.. but he did like her name and the fact that she was reasonably attractive - for a drawing. The boy figured his results had to do with his love of plants.. and if that were the case, then he was okay with his results. Hmm.. a Herbologist villain.. he'd have to find out more about her.

Rising from his seat, Ethan made his way over to the poster of Poison Ivy. Not a popular one, apparently, as he was the only one there..

AlwaysDance 10-27-2012 02:50 PM

A quiz to take about which super villain they were. Interesting! Addie generally liked this class because of the fun things that Professor Cerulean did.

Picking up her quill she quickly zipped through the quiz to find out what villain she would be. Addie didn't think she was a villain in real life, but that didn't mean that she couldn't be one for the day. Smiling she waited to see what the result was. Hmmm...Mystique. Addie had never heard of the lady before.

Addie made her way over to the Mystique poster which happened to be fairly popular. "Hi," she said with a smile while still looking over her results to see what came up after Mystique.

OOC: Okey dokey...take your quiz and then move to the right poster...thanks everyone!

Sarah took the quiz and took out her good old bue gel pen (she way prefered pens to quills, cleaner)
Some questions puzzled Sarah...
Are you beautiful? Sarah was not sure, her mom and dad said she was, yet she did not have blonde hair and blue eyes and fair skin so does that not mean she was no beautiful... so Sarah gave it a 3 (if she put a 5 it would mean an inflated ego). And she also occasionally had a female companion, but that did not really make a difference. And she liked skin tight clothing to a degree as it showed off her figure, yet her mom abhored it and the good side of Sarah, the princesslike side, said it was unprincesslike. She liked being a leader, yet sometime there were better leaders then her. She was strong.. or at least she had a strong bladder and strong heart. But was that real strength? And she definatly did not work out to get hulk.. that was disgusting.

Mgmeno! Oakey mumbled through his Bane mask as he sulked his dissapointed self over to he Marvel Villain's poster. "Prffer I Rar be Re Ruffer" He was to upset with the results of the quiz to bother taking off his mask now to express his distaste with Marvel comics. If you took off all the stupid Marvel Villain's he would be considered one of the greatest Villain's of all time and not some magnetic freak who cries to his Mommy every time his buddies are made fun of.

*Coughs* Catching up but HAAAIII Joker people!!!

This class was like a dream come true! Sitting on bean bag chairs, candy in the corner and discussions straight out of comic books. Heh and here her old teachers told her that comics wouldn't get her anywhere. If only they were here now to see the satisfied look on her face as she sat back and listened to them name some of the heroes they had discussed in their last class. A class she never attended--through no fault of her own.

This just felt like her element. There were just too many summers spent camping up in her attic with her bestfriend, reading comics for this to NOT be a thrill. For once she was prepared for the class and actually knew the aswers!

Seeing as everyone was naming the heroes she felt she could keep quiet for that part and even though she definitely had a favourite villain she was too busy being happy in herself to bother saying who it was.

This class was just too much.

It was everything she ever dreamed of...

When the Professor began talking about a quiz she sat up in her chair and got all wide eyed. This class was going well so far...why ruin it???...Oh...that kind of quiz...psssh. She could relax again and so she did. Taking out her quill she got busy and when she was done she grinned; obviously happy with her results.

"Alright, I got the Joker!!" And cue an even bigger GRIN. With a nice pep in her step she made her way over to the poster and gave a big wave to everyone there because you know...she knew them and was glad they all got Jokers!

Wait, SIERRA had gotten Dr. Doom too?? Now, that made a bit more sense to him. She was definitely the more cunning of the two, and let's be real--Alex just wasn't a villain-y type of person at ALL. Sierra had villain written all over her. Heck, for the first 13 years of their life all she did was torment him!!

"Sierra," he said back, giving her a head nod. He then grinned as she joined their group and chuckled. "Didn't think you'd end up here...you strike me much more as a Poison Ivy type of girl," he joked, even though she probably had zero clue who he was talking about. For once, Alex knew more about a subject than she did! Crazy.

Ethan, Vickers, Addie

Cora smiled as she noticed Ethan walking towards the Poison Ivy poster. After all, Poison Ivy was second on Cora's list. So they must be pretty alike. Yep. They were.

Befelda got excited with this exercise. Oohh...villains!. She scanned the quiz paper and saw the questions, a bit odd though. She quickly grabbed her quill and started answering the questions.

Yes...a little bit Yes.........Ahh......somewhat No?....Definitely No......Yes ofcourse..., and she continued answering the rest of the quiz questions. Until she finished the quiz. She first scanned her paper. This will do, she said. And suddenly, the paper was beginning to ramble, images are starting to change. She believed the charm was taking effect until...

The result. Befelda didn't even imagine this will be the villain that she could be:

She was disappointed with the results firstly because it was not a woman villain and she didn't even think she would be like Riddler. She always wanted to be Catwoman since she was 5. Still in dismay, she lousily stood up from her seat and headed beside the Riddler poster.

Talikins 10-28-2012 02:48 PM

Joker group. ^_^

Quiet in today's lesson she was, but that didn't mean she hadn't been listening. She had heard every bit of what everyone had said to do with villians. In her life she decided that Dylan was the villian, of course she would never mention that aloud which was part of the reason why she stayed hush.

When the Professor went on about a quiz, Nessie took out her quil and began answering question after question, eager to see what kind of result she would get. She ticked her answer for the last question and watched as magically her quiz result appeared on her parchment.
The Joker? From Batman?

Well at least she knew who he was, as to whether she liked him she wasn't so sure. He was considered to be absolutely mental and joked about literally everything, which on the one hand Ness was crazy at times, but she was a serious person when she had to be. Hmm.. well if an insane villian she was meant to be, than so be it.

The red head got up from her seat and headed towards the Joker poster waiting for the next instructions.

Sierra smirked to herself and then shrugged. "They're all villains," she said, "so I guess I could have been any one of them. I see you didn't have a problem finding a match." She grinned again then turned her attention toward Louisa, who apparently thought something was funny. I think there may be more than one Poison Ivy candidate here." Smirk.

Team Mystique.

Cassia was standing musing at the Blue villain she had been matched to. She didn't know anything about his woman but she kept trying to think why was she matched to her. I'm not blue..she thought. Well, the reason was obviously not this. But as more students came to stand by the poster, Cassia noticed that some of them were actually blue..err…Ravenclaws. The second-year decided to see what was in common between her and the other students matched with Mystique. She looked at the first familiar face who was Em the 7nth year. They both were Slytherins…and blond. But it didn't make sense. Em was a-not-so nice person while Cassia was a-not-so-rude person. Eh.. There was also a Gryffindor. She was the only one. Odd. What did she have in common with Snakes and Eagles.

Another Slytherin sixth year was here as well. And like three or four Ravenclaws. Which was actually reasonable because you know the woman was Blue. There had to be a connection. But did this mean that Cassia was part a Ravenclaw? She doubted that. But if it was true she hoped for her smart genes or whatever to kick in very soon because she could use some smartness. Just saying.

And wait did that seventh-year Ravenclaw got the same first two matches. Mystique and the goblin. Cassia glanced at him. That was Loza's boy and he was taaaall. Did that mean Cassia was going to get taller TOO! She crossed her fingers hoping that. Two things Cassia would gladly accept being taller and smarter.

In short words Cassia didn’t have a clue how this quiz worked. So after staring at those people for a while and they might have noticed she smiled at them a wide toothy grin. Hello fellow villains. "Erm...does anyone know what this villain do?" She asked hoping that it wasn't so obvious. Okay she was pureblood so she didn't know much about this.

Bazinga 10-29-2012 01:15 PM

For all the Mystique people

Minerva watched as the class started dividing. She smiled as some of the students went to villains that she didn't even know and then some people that she knew came towards her. She wondered excitedly about what they would do next. This was an interesting way to do a lesson, props Professor..props. "Hey everyone" She smiled as other students came towards her. Vickers, Ella, the ravenclaw Cora, Min thought that was her name at least. Them some others as well. This was a popular villain. It seemed many were going to her. Then she noticed Ethan at Poison Ivy, which didn't seem like a very popular Villain.. Hmm she wondered, what made his personality her, but no one else's. That was interesting, maybe one day she would ask him some of his answers to see if she could figure it out. Turning back to her group, "What do you think we are going to do next?" She really wanted to know.

MudInMyBlood 10-29-2012 01:23 PM

Can't upload pics at work, :/

They were going to take a quiz? Hannah wasn't all that enthused about doing so, but it did seem rather interesting. It was just a silly quiz...how accurate could it really be? She went ahead and went along with it. She studied the quiz and jotted down her answers.

When she had finished she looked at her results. She best matched with Apocalypse...whoever that was. She had never heard of this person before. She had to go stand by the poster that looked like the muggle super villian/hero thing. She was wondering what was going to happen next. She did not want to work in teams. Ugggh!

TakemetotheBurrow 10-29-2012 01:34 PM

Mystique peeps :)

Ella smiled at her classmates as they joined her under the Mystique poster, giving an especially amused smile to Vickers, who seemed a bit uncomfortable. She wondered what it was about him that made him like the cunning vixen. Hmm. Very curious! Also curious was the fact that Kurumi was standing here with her. Ella looked up to the older girl and it actually made her feel a bit better seeing her get the same super villain as the fourteen year old had. See? This had to be a mistake.

At one of the younger girl's question, Ella looked at her thoughtfully. "Well erm Mystique is a shapeshifter so um...there's that. She also...well I've read that she started her own gang of like...mutant people to do villainous things so...I guess she's kind of a leader that way." Yup. A shining beacon of moral goodness, this Mystique...

At Minnie's question, Ells shrugged. "I dunno really, maybe we'll have to um...channel our inner vixen?" And she giggled at this, realizing that she had ZERO inner vixen.

Lezleighd 10-29-2012 08:33 PM

Gemma smiled at the students as they began to separate into different groups. Finally, when it seemed the moving had slowed down, she continued.

"Now remember just because the quiz says you are like one of the villains doesn't really mean that you are a villain. Everyone has a good and an evil side but you choose which way you act." she said reassuringly...yes that was deep thoughts by Cerulean right there... "Now that you are in your groups....please introduce yourself to the rest of your group. Once you have done that, you will find a book below your poster that has information about your villain. It is a brief history of each of the villains." she said as she picked up an example off her desk about the Dark Phoenix.

"I'm going to give you about ten minutes to put together a creative way to teach the rest of the class about your villain, such as real name, arch enemy, background, symbol or colors, etc....it can be a skit, or a poster, or a song, or anything...the most creative group will each earn House Points." she said excitedly but a little bit nervously...this was a huge step for her to allow group work in her class and not only allow group work but to allow the students to teach the other students.

"If everyone is ready, please get started!" she said as a timer appeared on the screen above her head.

OOC: I'm going to give a group effort a try for the first time...I'm going to give you until the morning to rp planning, etc. and then I'll post a reply for presentations to get started. If you are by yourself, you can just rp you planning with invisible people..feel free to utilize the internet to find out more information about your villain....thanks...I'm a little nervous but I know this usually works great in other classes...thanks everyone!

Another two girls joined the group. They were two Hufflepuffs. So now the group contained students from different houses. Cassia replied smiles and all. She was smiling anyway. The hufflepuff girl, whom Cassia recognized as Theo's friend , started answering the question . The Slytherin listened to the answer and nodded taking in the info. "Shapeshifter...a leader...That's cool!" the second-year said excitedly. As for the other parts of the answer Cassia didn't quite get it and she wasn't going to ask. The girl might think Cassia was dense or something.

OOC: I'm going to give a group effort a try for the first time...I'm going to give you about seven or so hours to rp planning, etc. and then I'll post a reply for presentations to get started. If you are by yourself, you can just rp you planning with invisible people..feel free to utilize the internet to find out more information about your villain....thanks...I'm a little nervous but I know this usually works great in other classes...thanks everyone!

Then the Professor spoke up. Cassia turned her attention to the woman and listened. They were working in groups and had to teach the class about the villain. But they Cassia just met the villain. Er...or Knew, considering the villain wasn't here. Oh..a book, good then there was a source for info. Besides Cassia wasn't working alone. She had like seven or more and they were all older. She didn't know whether or was a good or a bad thing. Let's hope they aren't the weird type.

Cassia cleared her throat and stepped one step forward. Mostly to draw attention as she was the shortest. "I'm Cassia." For all who didn't know. "And I don't know much about this cool blue woman." She said. She wasn't going to say she didn't have a clue because they might kick her out of the group. Could they? Would Professor allow that. "However, I can memorize fast." If the information was easy but she was keeping those details for herself. Need to look cool like the villain. And about the book. The twelve-years old reached for the book and held it up. Nope, she wasn't going to open it she doesn't just pick books up and actually read them. She just thought that she was the closest to the floor. Maybe if she was nice they wouldn't give her so much lines to say when the teaching starts, no?

"Who would like to read?" She asked still holding it up.
