Oh, well that was a relief. Maybe this was all a mutual feeling that was happening. Milton couldn't help but smile too. "It's... okay. I guess there are some things that need to be said." He didn't really know what they were, but Taryn seemed to be doing a good job at doing the talking.

Milton nodded slowly, processing what she was saying. And it made perfect sense. They had been friends for a while last year, but there was obviously something more that they needed to get out of their systems. And now that they had... maybe they were just done. Milton suddenly had the urge to laugh. And he did. It wasn't a loud laugh because nothing was funny. In fact, he wasn't sure WHY he laughed, but it was just a quiet, short chuckle. "I... Yeah. I agree." Maybe it was done. And... it was okay.

...Milton was laughing? It was the weirdest thing, but it made her feel better. He wasn't mad at her and so that meant she wasn't an evil witch who broke boys hearts all of the time. Right?

Hmm.. This seemed TOO easy. "So... we're breaking up." Just to be clear. "And... there are no hard feelings and we can still be friends, right?" Because yes, she knew how Milton felt about exes but they didn't have any bad blood between them, so that meant they were good, yes? "Even... with everything?"

Milton was relieved that she didn't look at him like he was crazy for laughing. Or cry. Milton was relieved she didn't cry. He didn't handle crying girls well.

This was probably the most bizzare thing Milton had ever experienced. A breakup where the girl didn't want to hex off certain parts of his body. And he wasn't even all that upset, either. It wasn't like he was relieved or excited that he and Taryn were breaking up, but it was just... Fine. "No hard feelings. Even with everything." Milton smiled at her, hardly believing that breakups could be this clean. This was such a new experience, he almost didn't know what do do with himself.

That was the best part. No hard feelings even though their relationship had been FAST and full speed, it was over now and they were both okay with that. "We probably shouldn't be smiling at each other right now." Taryn commented, trying not to LAUGH too. This was not traditional break up behavior at ALL.

She leaned on the table, "One last kiss?" Cause kissing was still TOTALLY fun.

Milton bit the inside of his lip and tried not to smile, but he couldn't help it, especially after what Taryn said. Milton chuckled again and shook his head. "I know, it's just... different." Very different indeed.

One last kiss? Milton just grinned and leaned over the table. He kissed her for a moment, one last time with a smile on his face before pulling away. "Happy Valentine's Day, Taryn." What a strange Valentine's day it was, but it was all just fine. He just spent six months with a wonderful girl and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't blow up in either of their faces. Milton didn't really have anything to complain about.

"I told you it was possible." Having a relationship with Milton hadn't been a burden, but she sort of felt like a weight had lifted from both of them and they were able to breathe a little bit easier again. "With the right people, of course."

Milton and Taryn were the right people for sure. She'd always hoped they'd be.

Hehehe. Taryn giggled after their 'last' kiss. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too, even if you don't like it as much as I do." Yeah, she knew that and she knew he'd been trying to make her happy. It was sweet. She tilted her head, "Milton?"

It took Milton a moment to realize what she meant, but he understood after a moment. She told him it was possible to be friends with your ex. Milton smiled softly and nodded. "Yes, you did. And I didn't believe you until now." Because up until that moment, Milton hadn't had a relationship that ended well enough to be friends with his ex. He was glad it ended this way, though.

Milton chuckled a little. "I like it just fine." It wasn't his favorite holiday though. "Yeah?" he asked.

She knew he didn't believe her, it was obvious and also why she was a bit smug about proving it right. Their friendship was more important than her smugness, though. So she didn't rub it in. She just stayed quietly smug about it. She DID grin though.

Taryn glanced about the pink place again before raising her eyebrow at Milton, "Can we get out of here?" She giggled again, "No offence or anything, you were sweet to bring me here, but it's a little weird."

Hopefully he agreed.

Logan entered Madam Puddifoot's, scanning the place for Taylor. He hadn't seen her in...forever it seemed like...he really missed her.

He finally spotted her and made his way over to her, giving her a big hug. "I've missed you so much Taylor!" he said, squeezing her tighter. After a while, he finally let her go and sat down across from her. He smiled at her. "How have you been?" he asked.

Taylor hugged him back, "I missed you so much too, Logan." She sighed and shook her head, "Terrible." Tay whimpered a little, "What about you?" Tay looked at him, worried about her friend. "I havent seen you in like FOREVER..."

Logan's smile immediately turned into a frown as soon as Taylor said terrible. Terrible?! What? "Terrible? Why? Tell me everything." Logan said, concerned.

"Oh, I've been pretty good." he said with a small nod. But that didn't matter right now....he needed to know what was up with Taylor.

Taylor sighed, "Some boy troubles..." She frowned and buried her head in her friend's chest. "I missed you though... let's not ruin this reunion with sadness." Tay looked up at him, "Please..."

Logan frowned. "I'm sorry 'bout that, Taylor." he said, patting her head gently as she buried her head in his chest. "Whoever hurt you...whoever made you sad...I swear, I'll beat 'em up..." he said, shaking his head. Some guys.

Then she said she didn't wanna talk about it. "Oh, okay we won't. Sorry..." he said, giving her a little hug again. "But whatever happened, everything is gonna be okay. If you need anything, or just someone to talk to, I'm always here for ya." he said, lifting her chin up a little with his finger. "Okay?"

Taylor sighed, "You cant beat both of them up..." She sighed then hugged him back as he hugged her. Tay nodded ashe lifted her chin up, "Okay, Logan... thanks..." Taylor wiped her tears away, "Thanks for being a good friend and letting me have a mini break down just now." Tay giggled a little, "You are sweet." She kissed his cheek and hugged him, "What is new with you?"

"Oh yes I can." Logan said. "I have a wand, ya know. I'll hex 'em both!" he said, pretending to whip out a wand from his pocket and swishing it around, laughing. "Good. And anytime.." he said laughing, and then blushing slightly as she kissed his cheek.

"Ohh, nothing really. I've just been catching up on work from the years I missed at Hogwarts at home. Did you know I'm coming back for my fifth or sixth year?!" he asked, grinning widely. He was so excited to be back at Hogwarts...his real home...with all his awesome friends...

Taylor smiled and giggled, "You are sweet." Tay saw the blush and giggled even more, "You are adorable when you blush." She hugged him, "Nice." Taylor paused and her eyes widen as she looked at him. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!! You are?" She bounced on her chair and did a small dance. Tay was beaming and it was obviously what she thought about his news.

Logan laughed. "Aww, shucks. Thanks, Taylor. You are too." he smiled at her and then rolled his eyes as she said he was adorable when he blushed, his cheeks slightly pink. "Stooop, you'll make me blush more..." he said laughing.

Logan jumped at Taylor's reaction to him coming back to Hogwarts. He blinked and then laughed a little. "Yeah, I am!" he said, beaming. He laughed again as she did a little dance.

Tay giggled, "Aww that would make you even cuter." She gave him plenty of kisses on his cheeks, trying to do just that... make him blush even more. "That is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!" Taylor tackled him with a hug.

Logan rolled his eyes, laughing and pushing her away as she gave him kisses on his cheeks. Oh jeez. He hated blushing in front of people...especially girls...

He nodded in agreement. "Sure is!" he said, laughing as she hugged him. He raised an eyebrow. She was getting pretty close to him today...hugging him and kissing his cheeks and all.

Tay laughed, "Dont worry about me liking you that way, Lo. I am dating someone." She stuck her tongue out at him then giggled. "You are a good friend though."

Oh, okay. Phew. So she didn't like him like...that. Yeah. Good, 'cause he had a girlfriend. And-

"You're dating someone, eh? Who might that be?" he asked curiously, raising an eyebrow. Jeeeez...she seemed to always have a boyfriend. How many had she had?! He sighed. He hoped this one wouldn't hurt his friend or anything. Or someone was REALLY gonna get hexed...

Tay laughed and smiled, "His name is Brodie Livingston..." She sighed in happiness, "It is good to have someone to hang with and hold hands with after i broke up with Damon at the start of term feast." She laughed and smiled. He was her third boyfriend.

Logan laughed. "That's good." he said with a small nod, glancing around the shop. He had noticed on his way inside that they had ice cream splits, and he definately wanted one. Maybe Taylor would want something too. He had brought a ton of money so he could pretty much anything for her...He turned back to her with a smile. "Hey, you want anything?" he asked.

Tay looked at the menu, "An ice-cream split sounds really amazing... but I dont think I could eat a whole one... so what do you recommend I get?" She glanced up at Logan as she got her wallet out.
