Alice bounced into Honeydukes. HONEYDUKES. Finally. Honeydukes was all that she had on her mind since she had gotten to Hogsmeade. It meant candy. Honeydukes' candy was different than the kind from Sugarplums.. these candies melted in your mouth. And she needed something to melt in her mouth just about now. She weaved in and out of the aisles, eyeing everything and wanting it all. And it was all to be hers. The lioness had been saving up for this very trip.. she had three whole galleons in her pocket, ready for spending. She had spent less than a third of that in Diagon Alley; that's how much she wanted.. no, scratch that, NEEDED.. candy. Now that she was here.. there was only one more thing she had to do..

Decide what to BUY.

It was most peculiar. Theo got lost in almost every unfamiliar place, but if there was any kind of sweet shop, he just automatically turned up at it first. Maybe it was the sweety fumes that he could smell from all the way down the street. Theo had one perfect NOSE, if you didn't know. He strolled in, like a regular customer, even though he'd only been there ONCE before...

The second year picked up his usual stuffs; chocolate frogs, sugar quills, fizzing whizbees... But he was faced with those darn blood pops again.

THEO WANTED ONE.

But he didn't want to turn into a vampire forever. He spotted Alliot from across the shop, looking undecided on sweets, so he grabbed a pop and swooped in on her. "Hey, Alliot. Look what I just found. These lollipops are amazing." He shoved one in her face.

Nothing strange about it at all. *whistle*

Alice was sniffing around, and finally caught a whiff of that fudge.. mhhmm.. so good.. Yes. She wanted a pound. But.. for.. a galleon?! That was one third of her savings.. gone. But it smelled so good. Hmph. Decisions little girls had to make. She was just about to cave, when, out of nowhere, a boy with a lollipop and nose hair swooped in on her. "Cleo?" She asked, taking a surprised step back. "What do you have there?" She eyed the label warily.. Blood pops?! OI. She didn't want to look like a vampire. Or turn into one, either. He could eat one instead, if he was so enamoured with them.

Right?

The lioness cocked an eyebrow at her friend. "Lollipops, eh? Amzaing ones?" Heh. How daft did he think she was? "I didn't know you were so fond of lollipops, Cleo." Especially ones that turned people into vampires. "If you like them so much, I'll buy you a couple and you can snack on them while I eat my fudge." Smirk.

She was winning this one.

Cleo. Of course. Theo bit his lip, cos he couldn't REALLY respond angrily to that name after calling her Alliot. It just had to be accepted that it was their THING. A Clalliot thing.

He caught her looking at the label, so he hid the pop behind his back. Eh, this wasn't going to plan, so he sighed. "Oh, that's okay... I wanted to give one to you." But if she didn't, then he would just put it back cos he was not going to turn into a vampire any time soon.
.....
Okay, truth time? Well, not the truthful truth. "Honestly, I'm not keen on the color red." And yes, Gryffindors fell under the 'red' catagory. "So, I wondered if you could try it first."

But she really did seem like she didn't want one... Unless....

"Wait? Have you had one before?" Is that why she didn't want one?

Candy candy candy candy candy.

Aidan had been without proper, packaged candy for over a MONTH. Because no one told him to savor his stash. So he ate it all. Almost at once. And then had to get by with occasional chocolate treats from the Great Hall ever since.

To the boy's taste, House Elf goods didn't compare to the unhealthy taste of processed cockroach clusters.

So, much like his trip to Sugarplum's, Aidan grabbed a basket upon entering, and just walked through the aisles, grabbing at least one package of everything.

YEEESSSSSS!!!! Gone were the nights of curling up in a ball on her bed and obsessing over the chocolatey goodness that she had long since gone without. How long had it been since she had a chocolate frog anyway? Merlin, she couldn't even remember! Had it been that long?! It was a wonder she didn't go into withdrawl....

Not.A. Pretty. Sight.

Of course, being in the store she was gonna grab as much as she was sure could last her through another dry spell but for now, her main priority was LE CHOCOLATE FROGS!

Bending the corner of an aisle sharply she found herself running into a boy--one who seemed to have just as unheathy an obsession with sugar as her....he looked loaded.

For a moment she just stood there...staring at him but not sure how to respond. The polite thing to do would be to apologize for running around the candy shop then hitting into him like a madwoman...but Lex wasn't very polite. "Merlin that's a lot of candy!" That would do.

"Oof!"

Aidan stumbled a few feet, knocked off balance by someone RUNNING into him.

After making sure nothing in his basket fell or was otherwise crushed or harmed, he picked his head up to give whoever it was a LOOK. "OI! Watch it!" CANDY could have been harmed. Candy he was planning on buying! (Which made it different from the candy he'd stepped on without a care in Sugarplum's)

But to respond to her exclamation. "I know! I don't know when I'll be able to get more, so I have to get a lot now and then make sure I don't eat it all like I did since summer cause I don't want to run out." Obviously.

Looking him up and down she figured that he wasn't hurt or anything--he seemed fine enough to yell. Not that she could blame him this time because candy was a precious commodity that should have been cared delicately until the very last moment where it was scarfed down.

She glanced into his basket...none of them loooooked bruised. Everything was alright and the world could continue spinning on it's axis once more. Nod.

"You know, I like the way you think kid." Yeah, kid. He didn't look like he could have been older than her which made him the same thing she was. This however was a good thing seeing as she was slowly developing a strong dislike for anyone older than 11 with a few exceptions here and there. "I was thinking the same thing actually. I mean, how was I supposed to know that I wasn't meant to eat all my candy in one night?" People needed to state these things in advance then hide them. Let's face it, simply telling her would have done no good. "I'm Alexa, by the way."

She didn't make it a habit of being friendly to boys but this one liked candy a lot so she could make an exception.

Presley skipped into Honeydukes still dragging Awarlesta behind her. This was her cousin's first adventure into Hogsmeade, and Presley was determined to make it count. After the rough year the both of them had been having, they definitely deserved a full day of skiving class and laughing so hard their guts hurt.

She liked the way he.......WHAT? "Don't call me that!" That 'kid' business. Aidan didn't care if he WAS a kid or not.......but he was NOT going to let someone, older or younger, go around calling him as such.

He shrugged and nodded in agreement, "How was I supposed to know Hogwarts didn't have Bertie Botts for dessert?"

Actually, he knew how. His sister. But noooooooooooooooooo, she had to go be a big meany and tell him nothing. And he had to suffer for weeks without a decent candy fix.

"Hi! I'm Aidan," he said, giving the girl a smile before turning his attention back to the shelves of food.

Selena <33

The fact that most of her graduate friends were squeezing time for Hogsmeade today was simply MINDBLOWING. Louisa missed all of them, Hogwarts wasn't the same without those older nutters bossing the younger kids around and stealing their candy and-- well, maybe that was an exaggeration but you get her drift. HOWEVER the girl she was going to meet in this particular shop definitely must've done one of the mentioned acts, if not more that Louisa's imagination couldn't possibly reach. Like painting someone with chocolate. Or stuffing pygmy puffs into another's underwear. You just never know with Selena.

Louisa walked into the shop, alone without even any pets, and headed instinctively for the chocolate shelves. She didn't have to set a meeting point with the former Head Girl; where there is chocolate, there is Zabini-Riddle.

Awar felt as though Presley dragged her in to the promised land. Her eyes glistened as all the beautiful sweets beckoned to her. "IT'S SO...BEAUTIFUL." She drifted towards the chocolate frogs. "I'm in love!"

Selena was never going to be found without her violet, fuzzy companion... ever. Which was why today was no exception. She was always going to miss running around Hogwarts with the pygmy puff and her crup though... which was why she was here. To just talk and continue her nicknaming - she had a lot more students to go. After her failed attempt to whistle, Selena had decided it was better to just walk into the shop where she'd meet the new head girl who had refused a fruit nickname.

Selena was going to change her mind. One way or another.

Plus, since she last saw the 'Claw, she had grown a lot. Like... six inches a lot. So now, Selena was officially five feet tall and could reach the chocolate. Not that she needed to be tall to reach it because she could use magic outside of the school she had graduated from now. Gosh, that sounded depressing and sad and just sad. It took a while for the girl to find the C- no it didn't. Because the first place Selena headed for was the chocolate section. She wasn't going to care if Louisa was waiting somewhere - there was chocolate and that was where she'd OH LOOK. IT WAS LOUISA.

Grinning from ear to ear the Slytherin (because she was always going to be one) pet her purple pygmy puff and crept up quietly behind the Ravenclaw head girl. No cat. Which meant it was perfect for Kent. She wondered if Louisa had her pygmy puff... y'know... assuming she had one. Then Selena jumped onto the girl's back. "HI!"

Because she was demanding a piggyback ride.

Hmmm..."Not a fan of that word either I see." It wasn't that she had gone around calling people that but more like people walking around calling her that. After a while it stopped bothering her though, she preferred being a kid as opposed to an older kid who went around acting stupid and claiming it's because they're in love. Yuck.

"Exactly! I diligently sat through dinner thinking that they would bring out the chocolate frogs at some point." She rolled her eyes at the memory of her disappointment when she first found out. It just didn't seem fair. If they were worried about the students getting cavities or something then they could always schedule a dentist to visit once a term--oh better yet, mind their own bloody business and let a girl enjoy her sweets; she like that second one better.

Aiden? His name sounded familiar but that was probably because he was in her classes. Meh. After a while all boys started seeming the same, for all she knew she could have been confusing him with someone else.

"So how come I haven't seen you walking around the castle much?" It puzzled her. In the month that she was there she had covered just about everywhere. "Are you one of those people who live in the library?" Yeah...there she hadn't been very often...

Tap tap tap tap tap...

Huff huff huff huff...

Louisa continued to tap her foot on the floor and huff every five seconds. Seriously! Why were all the alumni so late today? Was life after Hogwarts that crazy for them?

As if the word crazy was tabooed, as soon as Louisa THOUGHT about the word, something crazy happened to her. She was there, innocently standing by the shelves pretending to care about the different kinds of chocolate when something just simply hit her back.

No, make that someone JUMPED on her back, someone who had the squeaky excited voice of a ten year old. That narrowed it down to "SELENA!" But Louisa's scream loud voice was of disapproval more than excitement. How could she be excited though when she had an eighteen years old dangling her feet off Louisa's back, hmmm? Now she had to worry about balance though, she instinctively flailed her arms around before clutching the closest counter with different weird candy goods. "Selena, would you please get down before you ruin my reputation?" PLEASE? She didn't even care about her backbone, her REPUTATION on the other hand. SCANDAL!

Selena wasn't letting go. She clung onto the taller girl, laughing. Because this was amusing to Selena. And she really wanted a piggyback ride. She hadn't seen TallPerson recently either which meant definitely no pestering him for any piggyback rides. She'd have to settle for the head girl instead. But really, what was with all of this flailing?! Was it necessary? "Louisa!" Selena shouted right back, unfortunately, right into Louisa's ear. Oops. That was an accident.

Kinda.

"Stop moving, Kent's gonna fall off of my head," Selena huffed, tempted to stick her tongue out. Except the girl wouldn't be able to see it. But she did it anyways. "Just in case you can't see, I just stuck my tongue out at you." Just so the girl knew and Selena's efforts weren't wasted and all, y'know? Ruin the Ravenclaw's reputation? Selena? Never. If anything, she was boosting the girl's reputation by simply being around her. So the Slytherin just held on. "I want a piggyback ride! Gooooo EAGLE GO!" Selena called out, patting her head to make sure the pygmy puff was still there with one arm before pointing ahead.

She wasn't going to EVER let go. Well... she would. After her piggyback ride.

Selena deserved one.

Manolo squeezed himself in between two adorable girls he recognized as girls he used to go to school with last year.

All he could see was a sea of Hogwarts students and he wondered if Awar was here too or studying back at the school like the good girl she is.

He started going to Oddities and Rarities section, but then pivoted towards the Fudge area. His muggle mother probably wouldn't enjoy Fudge Flies and Jelly Slugs very much...

Presley grinned. She'd been right. Honeydukes was just the thing to pull the younger girl out of potential bad spirits and into the land of happy. It was wonderful. Presley still had some funds left over from before her father had cut her off, and since she still wasn't letting on to Awar that she wasn't allowed back home, she offered it all. From the sound of her pockets, it didn't sound as if Awar had much with her. Perhaps she'd left all of her money packed away? Maybe she hadn't brought any to Hogwarts at all? Or maybe Presley's ears just weren't as sharp as she thought they were. Regardless, she jingled the galleons in her own pocket. "Grab whatever you like, I'll treat."

Seconds after saying that, Presley's eye caught someone who looked very VERY familiar. "MANOLO!!!!" She shrieked, pushing past other students and throwing her arms around her favorite cousin in a huge hug. "What are you doing here? I've missed you so much!" She glanced over at his little sister who she'd left in the dust after spotting Manolo. "I dragged Awar here. It's her first time sneaking out," she whispered quickly when Awarlesta couldn't hear.

That was nice of him to offer her a lollipop. But if he thought, for one second, that she was going to suck on one of those blood-flavoured icky candies and turn into a vampire.. boy, was he wrong. "But.. but if I eat one.. I'll turn into a.. a you-know-what." WOAH. But. Wait. Why wouldn't HE eat one? Had.. had he EATEN one before? Had he tasted one? Had he stuck a nasty blood-flavoured sucker into his mouth? Had he become a vampire?

Ewww. EWWW. Her ickle Cleo friend was a VAMPIRE.

Gross.

"ME?" She asked, shock registering on her face. "What?! NO. I've never eaten a blood pop! I don't want to be a VAMPIRE." Icky. Very, uber, totally icky. "Have YOU eaten one?" Yes. He had, hadn't he? And he wanted to turn her into a vampire as well? So he could have a vampire friend? A blood-sucking friend? Eww. That was absolutely vile. "I don't want to be a vampire. Keep that thing away from me!" And he dare not bite her.. or she would definitely get out her wand.

She would.

Without hesitation.

Awar hesitated. Her father taught her not to take advantage of other people's money. But, she insists...

Suddenly, it's like the sweets started talking to her. Buy us! Buy us! We'll provide with endless love!

Her eyes widen, focused on the treats. "Uhh...okay!" She dove in trying to keep a limit on how many. She was so lost in her candy land, she didn't even notice when Presley shrieked and disappeared from her side.

It took a while for Manolo to get what was going on. He was caught off guard while looking at the fudge. He heard his name and then suddenly he had a girl hanging from his neck. Wait, it was a relative.

"Hello there." He poked her head playfully. Presley? Missed me? SINCE WHEN?! It's been a while since they were on close cousin terms. "Missed you too, kiddo." He ruffled her hair gently and then patted it back to normal. He tends to forget girls don't really like that.

He followed her gaze when she looked towards the chocolate frogs. There was Awarlesta, with a lust for candy look in her eyes. "Sneaking out, eh?" He chuckled and put his hands in his pant's pockets. "And here I was thinking she took after Mum."

Presley laughed when Manolo messed up her hair. She had curled it that morning. Leave it to him to ruin it. "She was really nervous about it, but I pretty much pulled her here." Presley explained. She turned to see if the kid had followed her, and it turned out that Awar was still looking at candy, and hadn't even noticed her brother. "Lessie!" Presley called across the room.

And then turned back to her older cousin. "How have you been, Manolo?" She hadn't seen him since the funeral, and they hadn't spoken then, just exchanged tearful nods. Well, Pres was tearful. She honestly couldn't remember how her cousin had acted then.

"Ehh, Awar could use some adventuring right now. Odd for a Hufflepuff, but not for a Black." He peered over the heads of people and watched as Awar continued on her candy buying unfazed.

Awar was deciding between Fizzing Whizbees and Ice Mice when she heard Presley call her name. We must be leaving now. She thought, but she didn't look up, rather she tried to pick one as fast as possible.

Manolo hesitated as he searched for a decent answer. "Uh, I've been fine. Been searching for a job. Got to help support my mum somehow." He got silent for a moment and then spoke again. "How have you been? How's Leo and my uncle?"

He figured it'd be his turn to call Awar before she loses herself. "OY AWAR!"

Awar was about to settle on Fizzing Whizbees when she heard a very familiar voice that made her ears twitch like an animal. She turned to see who it was. :whaa: "MANOLO!!"

CANDY! The first thing Cassia decided to do when she knew about this trip to Hogsmeade was buying Candy. It was like the fuel that made Cassia operate and wasn't it for all people? At least the younger students. Cassia till now haven't met students who don't like Candy, they probably didn't even exist. Well, there were a couple who didn’t like a kind or two but that was normal enough.

The second-year entered the shop with her bag slung over her shoulder. She had in mind what she was going to buy but a tour around the shop wouldn't hurt. She knew that Honeydukes had extra kinds. Cassia had tried most of them last year in her first year. And she came here during the summer with her family as well. Oh and speaking of which, Cassia wished for her mother and brother to come. She of course wanted her father to come too but he is always busy .And her grandmother wasn't likely to come.

Cassia walked between the shelves..Hmmm…chocolate frogs of course. She picked up a bunch of them. Sugar quills too. And there was that candy which she bought during the summer. What was its name again? Maybe she'll come across it during her tour.

The professor knew where her first stop would be...yes her candy stash was very low and she couldn't make it another day without sweets in her office. She clicked her way into the store and made a bee line for the licorice wands grabbing a super box of 250 wands. She glanced at the wands and decided to grab another box before walking back to the door and grabbing a little hand basket because she knew that she was going to need lots of candy. This store was her vice...she loved loved loved candy!
