Herbology Task Force Welcome petal-children to the Herbology Task Force, a special initiative to engage you with a series of Herbological activites. They are designed to increase your awareness of the diversity of our wonderful ecosystems. You are expected to respect, love, care and advocate for all natural flora within the School borders. If you missed out on sign-ups, or filled in the form incorrectly, but are still interested in joining the Task Force, you must make an appointment with Professor Bentley and may be inducted after a one-on-one interview. Welcome to the Herbology Task Force. Let the missions begin... Mission Statement One --------------------------- Flora have the unique ability to brighten ones day, to bring smiles to faces and make hearts flutter. Your first mission, is to engage in the emotional benefits of flora and brighten up someones day. Ideas: Floral arrangements Framed pressed flowers Pot plant These are just a few ideas, but creativity is encouraged. Mission One is due for completion no later than: Saturday 6th October at 12pm (lunchtime) GMT Mission One is worth 10 points. Requirements: [x] Be creative. [x] You must not harm or abuse any flora in obtaining your artistic tools. [x] You must not harm any of your peers or professors in the process. OOC Requirements: [x] You do not HAVE to participate, that is entirely your own choice. [x] You must RP obtaining the materials (min 1 post) [x] You must RP preparing your pick-me-up gift (min 1 post) [x] You must RP delivering the gift to a person of your choice (min 1 post) -- drawings/graphics are welcome, OR thorough descriptions i.e. a decent sized paragraph. But do not simply google images, I'll appreciate a stick figure drawing more than something that is saved and linked. [x] You must provide me with links to at LEAST one of each post from the following. Meaning, I need to receive at least 3 links from you. [x] PM THESE LINKS TO ME -> Hera [x] When submitting your mission post links, you must title the PM "HTF Mission One", no name/user ID/House required. |
Mission Statement Two --------------------------- Your task, at the conclusion of lesson two, is to use the Minsecticide you produced to prepare the student garden and greenhouses for future invasions. We must protect and defend our precious flora! You may work individually, or in small groups to scour every inch of the garden and greenhouses to ensure nothing has been missed. Remember. Be generous. Mission Two is due for completion no later than: Saturday 27th October at 12pm (lunchtime) GMT Mission Two is worth 10 points. Requirements: [x] Surprise me. I like being surprised. [x] You must not harm or abuse any flora in obtaining your artistic tools. [x] You must not harm any of your peers or professors in the process. OOC Requirements: [x] You do not HAVE to participate, that is entirely your own choice. [x] You must RP in both the student garden AND the greenhouses. [x] You must not enter the restricted greenhouse (where you could be eaten) [x] You must provide me with a minimum of 8 links total (4 from each thread). [x] PM THESE LINKS TO ME -> Hera [x] When submitting your mission post links, you must title the PM "HTF Mission Two", no name/user ID/House required. |
