Corridor Outside the Office

Several comfy chairs are lined up against the wall opposite the door of Professor Magnus's office. Knock on that door, and then choose one to sit in as you wait for her to answer. Feel free to chat with whoever else is waiting - it might help to pass the time.

OOC: Please post in this thread FIRST, by having your character knock on the door. When the professor is ready to invite you in, I will post here letting you know and then you can post in her office. Thanks.

Alyssa stood outside the door of Professor Magnus. She was here to speak with her about the extra tutoring lessons. She hoped that Professor Magnus still remembered the discussion she had with Alyssa last term. Alyssa had waited a whole year to be her pupil and would be really disappointed if the professor wasn't able to find some spare time to tutor her.

Making sure that her shoes were clean, Alyssa knocked on the door.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Then she stood back and waited for the professor to respond.

Let's go with two different timelines, 'kay? Yeaaahhhh. :P
 

Isabelle was having a quiet cup of tea when there was a knock at the door. Or two. Gulping down the mouthful she had, she placed the cup and saucer down on her desk and flicked her wand at the door, causing it to click as it unlocked. "Come in!"

"Terry?!" Isabelle had just come from the room down the end of the corridor. The one she'd been setting up for the kids to use later, once lessons had started. It was as she was locking it again that she heard the knocking sound. Squinting down the corridor she made out the shape of her cousin.

"I wasn't expecting you here yet," because she was expecting him at some point. She just figured he'd want to settle in first, before meeting with the embarrassing family-staff-member. "Come in, come in," she grinned, rushing along and unlocking her office door. "How are you getting on so far?" Issy asked over her shoulder as she entered and left the door for him.

A loud click told you the door had just opened, and then came a loud "Come in!" from inside the office. Professor Magnus will see you now.

Minerva headed down the familiar corridor towards one of her favorite professors office. She walked with her bag over her shoulder until she made it to the door. Knowing exactly what she needed today she knocked on the door. She wanted to help her younger friend, but she just couldn't find the answer in her book. Hopefully it wouldn't be a weird enough question that the professor would think she was nuts.

Having been passing her door at the time of the knock, Isabelle was in the perfect place to open it herself. Which she did. To be confronted by the sight of a young Hufflepuff waiting the other side. "Miss Wheatborn, do come in."

Sarah was on a mission. This was for her HTF assignment and Sarah decided to use the oppurtunity to gain more knowledge.. especially about transfiguration. She knocked on the door.. hopefully the professor had time to teach her the spell she needed.

Returning from Christmas break left Ethan in a considerably better mood. A few days away seemed to be just what he needed. And now the Ravenclaw had an idea in mind.. but it would require the help of a couple people. The first being the Transfiguration professor.

The boy made his way through the sixth floor corridor and stopped in front of Magnus' office. He gave the door a swift knock and stood back, waiting for permission to enter.

A click could be heard as the door swung open to reveal the inside of the Professor's office. A cheery face greets as Professor Magus waves a hand at you. "Come in!"

Well that was a swift knock. Issy frowned and made her way over to the door, turning the handle to poke her head outside. Oh, a Ravenclaw. "Do come in," she smiled, moving out the way for him.

Alexa had of course taken the Professor up on her offer to accompany her back to her office. The matter she had to discuss was very important and in fact it was the difference between a good grade and another terrible night of sleep--yes, she was losing sleep over this thing.

She wasn't even sure she wanted to speak to the Professor about such a thing but what choice did she have? At the moment she was the only one that could fix the problem so she had to share it with her...no matter how embarrassing it was.

She stood by the chairs and waited for the Professor to invite her inside.
