SPOILER!!: Hahaha Accomplices :) O__O Ella's eyes grew wide as the boy underneath Alec started shouting at her. Well he was more attempting to shout as it seemed he couldn't quite put his words together at the moment. "Calm down and take a deep breath." She said quietly, turning her attention to Sophie and the runaway puff and then back to the boys in front of her. She didn't want this other boy to pass out or something or worse, start swinging on Alec, who was still kind of on top of the boy. "He's not going to die, Sophie is good with her wand, she'll stop him. She stopped mine." Yup, Barnabus was now safely sitting on Ella's shoulder. Looking back towards the willow, Ella called over her shoulder to her friend. "Sophie, don't get too close! Use your wand if you have to!" Cause she was good with her wand and Ella didn't want her friend to get wacked by the willow which was swaying menacingly back and forth. Looking back down again, she heard the boy plea with Alec to get off of him. Why hadn't he got off of the boy yet? Oh no! Had he hurt himself when he tried to stop the angry boy from heading towards the willow? Concern now on her face, she held out her hands to help Alec pull himself up. "Here, I'll help." Cause she wasn't mean like the boy on the ground was making her out to be. |
Text Cut: Capt'n! Joćo nodded without a hesitation. "I prefer Marcelo, yes." Because 'John' wasn't his name, his name was Joćo, quite Portuguese. He hated nicknames whatsoever. Joćo or Marcelo. No 'Joe's, 'Marcy's, no nothing but those two. Moving on. Joćo was startled by her sudden, almost accusing questions. He moved himself back instinctively as if expecting her to jump on him any second--and he did expect that for real for a moment. Frowning at her, he said, as much as he could remember, "I don't play it--but sure I care my house's success." His frown got deeper. He wasn't angry though, he was trying to understand this sudden outburst. Oh. Realisation dawned on him a few seconds later. "Will you work on your tactics and such?" Because if she was, he would sure take a peek. And he wasn't moving anywhere. If she wished, she could find some tree else. |
Text Cut: Marcelo "Marcelo, then," she nodded. It was still a funny name, but at least it seemed she could pronounce it. "You know, you should just introduce yourself as such if you're so bothered by people saying, 'Joahoo' wrong." Words of advice from Ellie Stone. She almost relaxed when he'd said he didn't play. Only, it was absolutely impossible to when he said he cared. Shame. Why couldn't people either play Quidditch, or have no interest in it at all. Why were there people hovering around the middle. Unless, of course, they'd tried out and didn't make it. Then, she supposed, that was an excusable reason for this bi-loyalty-ness. Though, how embarrassing was that? Will she work on tactics? Marcelo had to be kidding, right? "Not with that answer, I'm not," she said, placing a hand on her binder, keeping it closed. He wasn't going to see anything. They had to win this year, and even though she didn't think of Slytherin as the team to beat, she couldn't have them knowing her stuff, either. Her eyes remained narrowed as she stared at the kid, anticipating his next move. Would he try and pry into Jacob's bag? Or take the binder that was already out away from her? Or would he leave so she could finally use her birthday gift in peace? |

Minerva laughed with him. "I'm glad we can talk about this without having to worry about the other getting the wrong idea or upset. We both understand what's going on and need the support. Two minds are better then one and I think that goes great with friendly counseling sessions, don't you? she joked about the counseling, but just a small joke, that's what they were doing to be honest, right.... |
Text Cut: Damon, Ella and Alec too Sophie was still running towards the Whomping Willow, her wand firmly in her hand. Extremely worried about what to do, she didn't want to get hit by the tree but she didn't want to freeze another Pygmy Puff! She was lucky Barny was alright, but what if something went wrong with this other Pygmy Puff?? Gaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! She was too busy to hear the boy shouting for a 'person running', but she did her as Ella called out her name and warned her about the tree and her wand. BUTBUTBUTBUTBUT she didn't want to hurt the Pygmy Puff! She couldn't use the Freezing Spell! AAAHHHHWHATTODOOOO??? The Pygmy Puff was SO fast - how COULD they run this fast????? - and it was almost reaching the Whomping Willow!! THEY WERE BOTH GOING TO GET HIT!!! MERLINHELP!!! HEEEEEEEEEEELP!!! Then something suddenly popped into Sophie's mind! She stopped abruptly and pointed her wand to the runaway Pygmy Puff before either of them reached the Willow. "WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!" She exclaimed with a swish and flick, both of her eyebrows raised. That spell didn't hurt! She knew it!! And the creature wasn't going to be able to run if it was floating, right?????? |
Text Cut: Ellie Joćo raised his eyebrows at the advice, obviously surprised by such a suggestion. It took all his will not to snort and snap at the girl. Ravenclaws. They thought they were the only clever creatures in the universe. But he wasn't going to snap at this girl, nope. Because he had to prove to She-who-should-not-be-named's friends that he was quite a nice guy when he wanted. So instead of a hot reply, he simply shrugged. "Thank you for the advice," even then, it just wouldn't have felt right if he didn't make somewhere of his comment sarcastic, "but I like Joćo much more, so I'll be using it with capable people." Saying that quite calmly. It would be her fault if she took them offensive. If she wasn't going to work on them now, why taking all those notebooks out and nearly killing him? He kept his eyes narrowed too and kept her gaze like that. They were both measuring each other up, obviously. At last, he looked away. Away at the tree to be more precise, because something that big moving in the corner of his eye was more that enough to distract him. "Fine," he said, looking back at her again. Leaning on the tree, he directed his gaze at the tree and waited her next move. Because until she was settled down, he couldn't just start thinking. |
Text Cut: Off.En.Ded. :P Marcelo had been ever so kind to thank her. And Ellie had thought he was just going to leave it at that. As evident by the small smile appearing on her face. Until he went on, that is. He should really stick to one sentence at a time. Because her reactions seemed to be changing every time he decided to open his mouth again. Instead of that smile, the redhead raised an eyebrow, "I don't think that not being able to pronounce your silly name makes the majority of the Hogwarts population, including myself, incapable." Thank you very much. It was really just a suggestion anyway. "And if you insist on people calling you...that name...than you shouldn't be so bothered when they pronounce it wrong. It's not like they're doing it on purpose," she said matter-of-factly. "That being said, I do understand how you could prefer to be called something over something else." Like how she only liked to be called 'Ellie' and hence introduced herself as such. Though, 'Ellie' was very easy to pronounce compared to Joahoo. As far as getting her Quidditch work done, that would be impossible with him there. And she wasn't too keen on being nice to him after he'd called her 'incapable'. "You know, Quidditch season isn't too far away and I really need to work on these strategies..." He should go find another tree now. HMPH. |
Text Cut: JonJon & the black haired Girl Part III Louisa had walked with Jonathan all the way from the castle to this particular part of the grounds. It was quiet, rather secluded and very suitable for talking. Not that Louisa stopped talking on the way here, she went on and on about the movie - trying to distract Jonathan from the emotional subject that she forced him to confront today. "... so the movie ends when Gaston just falls off the castle and Belle saves the monster. But alas, she only confesses her love to him after the last petal falls off." With her now empty hands, Louisa jumped forward and started walking backward while facing Jonathan and trying her best to gesture with her hands to get him into the mood, "But as her lips touch his and she cries on his chest, the magic still works and he starts floating and changing and swirling and then-" She paused walking, "VIOLA! He's a charming blonde prince! And they live happily ever after." Louisa added the last bit with a roll of the eyes and a bored kinda voice. She stepped to the side and started walking again, "I didn't like the ending. It's too perfect, too happy. There's no such love." And she became aware of that just recently. However, saying this might've hit something in Jonathan! Louisa looked at him sideways and gave him a sympathetic smile, "Sorry, I didn't mean anything by that." Looking forward again, she frowned at the non-existent Kurumi's face, "I'll have some serious talking to with that girl soon." REALLY? Kurumi betrayed Jonathan...??!?!?!? Jeez, the apocalypse was dawning on them. |

He didn't speak much like the usual but this time he was more attentive with her explanation. She even had those funny hand gestures that made him smile. What? They were very funny. And for once, Jonathan did feel loosen up. It was nice to feel like that for once. "That's story is just...." he lowered his head as he slowly shook "...complicated" yup, that's the whole thing. The whole story from start to finish is just bloody complicated. Her father is an inventor, she loves to read books, he is in love with her because of her looks, she hates him for his arrogance and then she falls in love with some arrogant creature who happens to be a cursed handsome prince? MERLIN. What was the author thinking putting so many things in one book? And this story is a fairytale right? Do muggle kids catch up with all the complex story line too? Jonathan eyed the one area and walked towards it. He sat down without even caring he is sitting on the ground. Then she talked about disliking the ending because it's 'too happy'. Jonathan snorted. Is it? Jonathan just thought it was perfectly fine because of the complicated and confusing start to finish story. The least the author could do is make the ending well.... not too twisted. He glanced over to Louisa as he crossed his legs "What? You're expecting for all of them to die?" he said giving out a small laugh. However, he did ignore the latter part of what she said. Louisa could do whatever she wants and she didn't need to tell him that. Jonathan followed the trunk of the Whomping Willow and then back at Louisa "It would be nice to go up that tree, don't you think?" he said. It just came out but really... wouldn't it be awesome. You get to have all that adrenaline rush. |
Text Cut: Jonathan Louisa plopped down next to Jonathan, scooting a bit to the side so that the tree was on her left and the boy was on her right. Complicated? SNORT. "Come oooonnn. The Fountain of Fair Fortune, from the tales of beedle the bard is a lot more complicated than this." She raised her arms in the air to indicate the clarity of this. "A girl falls in love with a monster. He turns out to be a prince. They live happily ever after." HULLO? That's pretty much what all fairy tales are about. Giggling she replied, "Nooo! Not like die.. but.. I don't know." Louisa stared off thoughtfully with a grin plastered on her face, "The monster could still be a monster and not die. Then Belle would marry him just the way he is." Yep, that was Louisa's type of stories. Reasonable, a bit sad and realistic. She shrugged, "I guess that's why I don't get along with many." 'cause mostly people are just 'too happy' for her liking. His attention was drawn to the tree then - not just any tree, the Whomping Willow tree. Louisa squinted her eyes at Jonathan, did he have a death wish now that he broke up with Kurumi? Did she have to keep an eye on him all the time? That could be a bit problematic since she can't keep this bickering-free conversations for long. "No, actually it doesn't." Louisa lied as her eyes were staring still at the boy as if he was sick, "Last term, Treyen immobolized it for me and I got pretty close to it. Believe me," she scoffed, "It's overrated. Too woody. Too old. Too smelly. Not the type of tree you'd want to climb at all." All were lies but for a good cause. Changing the subject. "Was it really your first experience in the movie, then? You've never seen a muggle movie before?" She hugged her knees as she beamed at him. WAS SHE HIS FIRST CINEMA TOUR GUIDE? Louisa liked to be firsts. |
Quote:
"And besides" he said pointing out the one thing she emphasized in the story "A girl falling in love with a monster? Who turns out to be a prince? That's more confusing than Arithmancy" oh so now they're going to argue about this? "Not to be superficial but who falls in love with a creature?" his forehead was frowning a lot but he's definitely having fun about this. Hey maybe they can argue about this in that book club thingy. Jonathan keeps smirking a lot as he now waits for Louisa to contradict him this time. Her next explanation just made him cringed even more "Which brings us back again to who falls in love with a creature..." he snorted. The ending is okay and he doesn't see why she doesn't like it. Come on, it's a likable ending. Louisa disagrees because she wants the prince to stay a creature forever and Belle should marry him that way.... that's hilarious, Carter. Jonathan was starting to laugh with the story and them starting to Jonathan snorted once more. "Who said about immobilizing it anyway?" he whispered, grinning with his eyed squinting as well. She's now telling him her past encounter with the tree? Overrated. Too woody. Too old. Too smelly. He would be impress with this however he is not. "Ride it, not climb it" yes, that was it, right? It's not fun climbing the Whomping Willow when it's stunned by a spell. And as for her question about this first experience, he looked up into the sky and nodded. He has never been outside of the wizarding world. He may travel a lot not to the extent that he visits any muggle communities. "Why?" he said with another big smirk on his face as he turns to her "Is it weird?" Ayumi once called him that for not being able to see any muggle experience. |
Text Cut: Johnny :33 Usually? Louisa would've snapped back, stuck her tongue out and probably nudged him and run away but now it was just so relieving that Jonathan was being Jonathan again. She laughed out loud, slapping her hand on his leg not-so-strongly. "Geez, Jonathan, you're such a child sometimes." GRIN. Argument dropped down... because lots were to come... apparently. O.o Okay, ladies and gentlemen, she was losing the friendly sacrifice-your-nature-for-a-friend determination so quickly. "AHA!" She pointed at him accusingly, "Your stuck-up-iness is showing mister. Who'd fall with a monster? Really?" She let her hand fall as she leaned in on her hands on the ground, "She fell in love with him because she'd given him a chance to show his true heart to her. He was beautiful from within." Was... that Louisa Carter speaking? She almost puked, the girl never talked sappily like that! D: She straightened up and smirked, "Muggles believe so, anyways. For more reference The Warlock's Hairy Heart could relate to that a bit." See? she could talk wizardy and muggly stories. Smart smart Louisa. His laugh made her beam again, oh man! She was gooood apparently. If only Paulie was here, he'd snort and say not to get her head so big. However, the talk about riding the whomping willow let her humor die instantly. She looked seriously at him, stunned, "Y-you want to ride on the tree? Without stunning it?" Death wish it is! "No." She tried to be conclusive but her curiousity got the best of her. "Can we do that?" she whispered back, squeaking a bit. Shrugging Louisa grinned at him again, "No. I just wanted to be your first movie tour guide." Hehehehe, and she was apparently! "It would've been more fun if you ate any of the snacks or listened to me...but it was fun for me!" Yes, by now, she knew for a fact that he wasn't listening to her half the time. |
Text Cut: Clever One Oh, how Joćo enjoyed angry, know-it-all Ravenclaws. He enjoyed it even more if that anger was caused by him. Sure, usually it ended quite horribly for both sides, especially on his side, but it was worth it. Because then he would just leave casually and they would be angrier for caring in the first place. ...no one called his name silly, though. "My name is silly now?" he counter-attacked, obviously shocked. He would keep calm though... he had observed many times that being angry and giving hot answers did him no good, so he would just keep calm and answer her in short, effective answers to prove her wrong. "If you don't know your own language, then it's not my problem." He smirked. "Let me still teach you, in case you'll have to use it in the future." His smug smirk got broader, though the moment later he was quite serious and in the mood of a small lecture. "'capable' means 'having the ability, power or qualities to do something'. That being said, copying the other side's words always did the trick, "the majority of Hogwarts population, including you, are incapable of pronouncing my noble name." There. Explanation done. "Thank you, again, for your understanding." Yep. Always thank someone when they do something you need. Joćo Marcelo Nascimento Mendonēa Teixeira Neves never forgot his manners. Raising his eyebrows in confusion, he said "I don't think you need my permission to work on that, but I'll give you permission anyway." She probably wanted to ask him politely to move to another tree, but since he had been nice enough to let her sit there with him, share his blanket with her and not to answer her hotly after her insult to his name, he was so staying there. Hehe. |
Damon sighed sitting down. His red hair glowing in the sunlight. He still felt horrible for everything that was going on around him. He was at a total loss of what to do. |

She was here now.. Was that cue for her to leave? Now it was Evelyn's turn to looked confused. "Erm..okay..do you want me to leave?" She didn't mind, really. If he want to lay down on the grass and relax..it was fine with her. She turned to look at the tree again and waited for his response. "Erm..anyway, how have you been?" |
Minerva walked down to the Willow, she sat down and looked at the tree. She thought about all that had gone on since the last time she had sat in front of this tree. She braided her brown hair into pig tails as she thought about everything. Last time she was there she was so upset about her family, felt like her friends had forgotten about her, and could have cared less about classes. Now she had lost her boyfriend, felt like she was losing her newest best friend, and did actually care about classes. She needed the pain to stop and an idea hit her. Last time she wanted the pain to stop she played a little game with her favorite tree. She stood up and smirked. Looking around she saw some students, but they would never notice her she wouldn't be that obvious. She made sure her bag was out of the way. She walked up to the tree, "You ready for another round Mr. Willow?" The tree swung and she moved laughing. It felt good to have the rush of fear back.. |
Text Cut: Minnie Harvey had walked upto the Willow as some people had told him that Minnie was here since he had asked them.. he smiled as he saw her there.. he was walking upto her when she got up and walked towards the tree.. his smile disappeared as he knew what that meant.. she had done it before.. and sure enough she moved out of the way as the tree swung for her.. he quickly ran towards her.. "Er Mins? are you ok? I am guessing that something is wrong cause I havent seen you like this in a long time" he called out to her as she was playing with the tree... again he just hoped that she wouldnt get hurt. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey winced as he saw her get hit by the tree .. ouch he mouthed.. as he watched her rolled onto her back.. before she sat up and held her shoulder "Ah sorry" he looked at her as she growled at him "Well are you ok? after getting hit by that tree?" he asked as he looked at the tree "Er Mins.. I think its still not done with you cause-here-comes-another-one-RUN!!" he said that last words really quickly to warn her of another branch coming her way.. as he kept his eyes on the branch and looked quickly between her and the branch.. not taking HIS eyes off the tree AND her. |
Quote:
She watched as the tree continued to fling its branches trying to find her. She couldn't help but smirk watching it. Yeah, yeah it won that round, but only because someone had distracted her. Speaking of that someone she glared back at Harvey with her hand back on her shoulder. It was hurting pretty good, but she knew nothing was broken. Just another bruise most likely. "So did you need something Harvs, or did you just come to watch the tree kill me?" she began to move her shoulder around so it wouldn't get to stiff. |
Text Cut: Minnie Just bumped her? that was not a bump... more like a battering ram to the shoulder.. yeah there was something going on with her.. he watched as she dodged the tree a few more times.. flinching each time she did.. wow.. had she become a little more stronger and a little more angered than when he saw her last.. he thought as he remembered her hugs.. yeah there was a little.. ok.. some change.. and he wanted to know what. He then watched as she came over to her bag and sat down out of reach of the tree.. then glaring at him as she held her shoulder.. ok that glare did not look good .. uh oh.. he was in trouble.. wow! now he wasnt expecting to hear that.. well he expected to hear the first part but not the second part.. "No I didnt come here to watch that tree kill you.. I had some free time to pass.. so .. I thought we could hang out a bit.. but I can come back later... if you wanna finish your... er... little game with the tree" he said getting ready to walk away.. clearly she was not in the mood to hang out.. and there had to be a reason for that "Mins.. just a quick question before I go.. is everything ok with you? I mean the last time you played this game.. you were quite upset that time too" well duh.. of course she was upset that time.. what was it this time that made her this upset again.. he wondered |

Another question. Milton narrowed his eyes and looked around as he thought about what to ask... "Say you're in a tropical forest surrounded by flesh-eating plants. Without a wand. Also surrounded by... Manticores. How do you defend yourself and escape?" It seemed appropriate seeing as though they were studying flesh-eating plants in Herbology. And Milton sometimes felt it was HIM stuck in a forest called Hogwarts where all the students were flesh-eating idiots and the teachers were Manticores. Ugh. He also realized his questions were weird and quite random. So, he decided that the next question would be somewhat normal. |
Quote:
"Harvey don't leave, I don't need to be alone right now."she looked at the ground not sure where to start. "There has been a lot going on lately I guess. I really didn't do well at my gobstones match, we won, but I wasn't doing my best, I feel like I didn't do well at quidditch tryouts either. I'm just not sure I'm going to be part of the team this year." She wasn't sure whether to go on or not. "Taylor and I have been arguing and things have gotten very uncomfortable between us, and oh yeah Damon and I aren't together anymore." There it was out in the open. She said it and started pulling her brown pig tails nervously. |
Text Cut: Minnie He looked at her as she rubbed her shoulder "Oh ok.. no worries.. I will leave you to carry on then" he smiled as he was about to walk away when she told him to stay.. so he stayed "Ok Mins I will stay.. you arent alone now" he smiled a little as she told him everything that was going on with her.. he was so surprised that so much had happened in such a short time.. it wasnt that long ago that they had hung out and she seemed ok. He was about to comment on her and quidditch when something took away that and left him with his mouth wide open.. he moved closer to her and put his hand on her arm.. "W.. what happened that you and he split up?" he asked "And I am guessing thats the reason you and Taylor are arguing? " he questioned.. as he watched her play with her pigtails.. even though he knew that there couldnt possibly be another reason for it. Forget quidditch.. this Damon and Taylor things that had happened were the main reasons for her wanting to play a game with this tree again.. not gobstones or quidditch.. those didnt make you feel as bad as when someone tells you that they dont wanna be with you anymore.. that was the one that hurt more than anything.. he really felt bad for her that this had happened to her.. she had been so happy that she and Damon had started dating.. only for this to happen |
