Ducks, fifteen in all and quite possibly already named, live in this pond. Go on, take a seat on the rocky ledge and dip your feet into the water! Rest assured, these ducks will not bite, but if you just so happen to have any type of bread ~~or cookies~~ on you at the time, the ducks have been known to take without asking.

Waylon keeps a good eye on the pond and the ducks, so no funny business.

Pam was really glad Jordan wrapped his arms around her. She needed a hug, and she was glad he was there for her. When she felt she had no one, she had Jordan. "Thank you." She said, holding back the rest of her tears. She wanted to feel strong, safe. And when she cried, she felt that crying meant people could see what she was feeling. That already happens when she lets her colors show, and she didn't need another reason for people to read her like a book.

Psht. Louisa's cat would probably eat anything. Because really, that cat was evil. "Yes it can, all it needs to do is tear your owl apart then eat it - it's possible," Selena pointed out. She didn't like that cat anyways so if Kiwi did something to it, she woulnd't mind.

"How won't they know? He looks and smells like chocolate, you really ought to eat it before someone else does," Selena said. Because Selena really wanted a chocolate frog. Wait whut? What hairball? Selena didn't own a hairball. "Kent's a ball of fluff and he doesn't go into the water, that's just cruel," Selena said, rolling her eyes. Pygmy puffs didn't know how to swim. That was just absurd - why would anyone want to drown a pygmy puff?

Alice was just going to ignore Selena, up until the point where she patted her head. DUUUUUUDE. She hated people patting her head; it reminded her how short she was. And since she was too tired to argue with a mental patient like Prefect Pygmy Puff, the lioness decided to mimic her. After dropping the chocolate cookie she was handed into Frank's mouth, of course. "Poor, poor YOU." She reached up, and after squirming a little, managed to pat Selena's head. "Here, have some bread! It's good for animals, y'know. It'll help your systems." And if she ate a lot of it, possibly make her normal?

And the mimicking continued. "YOU'RE the one who's wrong." And messed up, judging by the way she was petting her bag and swinging her head from side to side. "I'm Kiwi, you're Cherry, I'm naming myself as Queen of the World, you're naming everyone after fruits." And of course EMMA was going to rule the world. Emma wasn't delusional and possibly dangerous like this loon sitting next to her. "Emma's going to rule the world. You can rule the mental asylum you'll be put in after I'm named as Queen." YEAH. She'd be willing to provide Sel with her own asylum. And.. Sel didn't know who Alice was. Yeah, she was definitely crazy. "Who's Selena? I don't know any Selena."

"It can tear your pygmy puff apart as well." AHH. What a glorious day that would be.. if she bothered Louisa enough and told her more about snogging gummy bears, would she do it? "How would my owl know that Kent isn't food? He looks and smells like hairy cotton candy, and you really ought to eat HIM before someone else does." She had to admit, shadowing the Prefect was rather funny. "Frank's a real animal; a frog. He doesn't go in your mouth, THAT is what's cruel." Alice decided that if Selena ate her pet, she was going to toss Kent into the pond. 'Cause that was equally mean.

Jordan carried on hugging Pam, just to be sure she was okay "No problem," he said to her, "I'm always here for you," he smiled when he noticed that no more tears were coming. Looking over her though, he noticed a blue-ish tinge being emitted from her body, not unlike the one that surrounded him when he felt upset sometimes. He pointed at her hair, "You're looking a little blue here Pam," he half smiled.

But all things were fair game in quidditch. It was just a game afterall. No feelings were ever really hurt.

Elliot, a bag of fresh bread sent from home in her hand, sighed as she made her way down to the pond. Sam had positively BEGGED for Elliot to feed the ducks for her...and the third year decided to take her sister to a park as soon as they got home. Dani had apparently helped her mother make the bread...Merlin, it wouldn't be too good, then.

She slipped her shoes off and dipped her feet into the water. It felt nice, and the day was really nice. She kept the bag on her lap, waiting for the ducks to swim closer...it wouldn't take long for one of them to spot the bread...

Elliot's head snapped around...lying on the ground was a piece of bread. WHAT IN MERLIN"S BEARD?! She whipped around, taking her feet out the water, to scold WHOEVER did this...

Of course. Elliot narrowed her eyebrows. "Trying to attack me with bread, now? Pathetic attempt, really, Laura..." she rolled her eyes, still glaring at the girl. She turned back around, but not as much. She kept Laura in her line of sight...who knew if the puffer might try to push her into the pond...Elliot would like to see her try...

"I'm sorry." Laura seriously was sorry and she hoped that Elliot didn't think she did it on purpose, though with how mean this girl there was no telling what Elliot would think.

Elliot emerged from the water, sputtering and shivering. Regardless of the hot day, it was COOOOLD in there. The bag of bread was floating right next to her. She growled and dumped the remnants of the bread into the lake, but bad idea, because the ducks began to swam to where the bread was...which was practically ON Elliot. "Get off, you blasted ducks!" she cried, trying to get away.

She finally made it back on DRY land...dripping. And she had a few bite marks from the dumb ducks...DUMB. DUCKS. "Ugh. Thanks a lot, Laura..." she snapped. She knew the girl hadn't done it on purpose...but that still didn't mean she wasn't furious. "Trying to kill me, now? I didn't know you could stoop so low," she drawled menacingly. Now she had to get back at Soapy AND Laura...UGH.

Oh and to say she was actually going to ask this mean girl if she was okay well she wouldn't now, it had been an accident but obviously miss-know-it-all here wouldn't know an accident if a christmas tree was singing I'm sitting in the rain.

Laura stared at Elliot. "Of course I'm not trying to kill you, it was an accident." Laura hoped that Elliot was okay but after she said what she did, she wouldn't ask her if she was okay no Laura was in a mood now, she wouldn't ever kill her worst nightmare Healer Tillstorm, so why would she try and kill Elliot?

It wasn't a big deal.

"I was trying to have a calming, relaxing, day...and of course you come along to ruin it..." she muttered to herself. Honestly, Elliot wasn't in the mood to fight. No. She just wanted some peace and quiet.

Her shirt was almost dry by now...but she still felt soaking wet. She watched Laura just kind of stay in the water...weird. She raised an eyebrow. It was very cold in that pond, and if the hufflepuff wasn't careful she'd catch a cold or something. But Elliot didn't voice this aloud. She hated herself for even thinking it...stupid motherly instinct that all girls were born with! GAH!

"Going for a swim, now? Hm. The ducks may attack you," she snorted, doing her best to keep her anger at bay. The ducks seemed too occupied by Elliot's bread at the moment...and it might be funny to see the ducks swarm on Laura. Of course, before long, Elliot would have to step in to save the girl...she couldn't let someone just get attacked in front of her. It would look bad.

Laura looked at Elliot's arm, she wasn't going to say anything out loud but she hoped that Elliot's arm was okay, why was she worried about how her enermy was, she deserved everything she got for what she did to Sophie.

This was the first time in a-. Well this was the first time Nate was down at the duck pond ever. He tried to avoid because of theawesome yet sometimes annoying Daichi. He wasn't annoying all the time because sometimes he'd just babble on about ducks. So anyways. When he got half way down to the pond he saw two peoples there. One was Laura, a fellow puff. The other was a stranger person who was a claw.

He then took a longer route to get behind the claw without getting noticed. So he moved around to the topiary garden border line then went to the edge of it then swirved back around behind the claw. He did the shh don't tell sign to Laura. After he did that in a cheerful voice he said "What are you two doing?"

OH NO.

"Ew, blood! Oh my gosh, MERLIN!" she started to yell, her face squished up. She shook her arm around, as if that would make it disappear...she searched for her bag...but she hadn't brought it down! "Gah, do something!" she yelled at the girl fearfully...she hated blood.

The voice rang all around Elliot, and the blonde jumped up. She swiveled around, her eyes widened in shock, and then, when she saw it was just a boy she scowled. "Well, Laura just tried to kill me by dragging us both into the pond..." she rolled her eyes...then she remembered her arm..."And I'm bleeding! The ducks...are vicious..." she would have liked nothing better than to push them BOTH into the pond...but that required effort.

Another puffball to deal with. Oh boy.

Laura was finding it hard not laugh when Nate walked behind Elliot, it served the other girl right. "That was great Nate." Laura smiled, she was glad that they were friends now, she couldn't believe how mean she had been to him last term, but at least that was all forgot now.

Laura turned back to Elliot, she felt like helping but well she didn't want to make things worse and well she now knew that Elliot was scared of blood, that could have come in useful if she wasn't feeling sorry for Miss-Meany-of-the-world. She scoffed, but held her arm still. "THey aren't bad...I just don't like blood," she told the other girl grumpily. Great, not Laura knew a weakness. But how could she get over that fear without...like, killing someone or something? UGH. "And I don't know if I trust you..." she hissed.

Yeah, meanie Laura might just make it WORSE.

She glared over at the boy...evil puffers attack.

"I'm with Laura on this one. We can't see if it's just a minor cut that WE can repair, or if it's something that we should take you to the nurse for." For once him and Laura were agreeing because last term they weren't the best of friends. Heck to it they weren't even friends. So now that they were friends all sorts of devious mischief would happen.

Laura looked at Nate and gave him a quick wink, this was going to be fun and she hoped he knew what she was going to do next.

"I'm sorry Elliot but well I don't think I can mend them but I do have something that can help." Laura took out a muggle bandage, knowing how much Elliot hated muggle things and quickly dressed them. "I think we should take you to the groundkeepers hut, he's the closes hut here, we shouldn't have to take you to the nurse." Laura was starting to feel sorry for Elliot, even though they were enemies and so that was why she said the last line, to cheer Elliot up.

Nate used the corner of his eye to see the wink that Laura sent at him. So he sent a wink back at her signaling he knew what she would do.

"Once again I have to agree with Laura because the nurse is way to far from here, and Mr. Murdoch is closet. Also he should know what to do. So let's take you to Mr. Murdoch shall we?" He asked Elliot.

Holding her arm like a broken wing, she eyed the boy. "WHo even are you? Why should I value your opinion?" she shouldn't...because he was friends with evil puffer. She merely looked at him like he was crazy.

Laura took something out...she had never seen them before. But they stuck to her...Elliot didn't like the feeling. "What are these things?!" she asked nervously, as she tried to pick on off, but it hurt to pull them..OUCH. "This better not be some trick..." she grumbled. And why was Laura trying to help her? It was weird.

"No, NO I won't go! I don't need to, I'm just fine!" she shrieked...this was crazy!

Elliot then glared at the boy, Nate, again. "No! I am fine! They are mere cuts...now that most of the blood's gone I will be fine!" she cried, looking at hime, one again, like he wasn't proper in the head.

Laura looked at Elliot and smirked. "They are called Bandages, they are a muggle invention that helps to stop the bleeding." Laura was helping Elliot, but she didn't know if Elliot would like how she was helping her though if it stopped the bleeding surely that was only a good thing.

Laura looked at her friend Nate, that was strange to say her friend, it seemed like yesterday that they were fighting but that was in fact a year ago. "What do you think about it?" She would let Nate decided what the next move was.

"What I say we do is since she says she's ago we just leave, and not bring her with us to Mr. Murdoch's hut. Because she says she's fine so we don't need to bring her with us. She'll just have to deal with blood oozing from the cuts, and running down her body." He replied to Laura.
