How was her summer? Horrible. Listening to her parents talk about how evil magic was every single day..was well, terrifying. Talking to Trey did make her feel slightly better though. "Erm..it could have been better, I suppose." She said, with a small shrug. It could have been LOADS better frankly.
And, why was the girl constantly rubbing her cheek? "Is something the matter with your face?" Evelyn asked, a little concerned.
Summer apparently wasn't a good topic of conversation for either of them, so Kurumi figured it was best to not ask any follow up questions. "It will be good to be back at Hogwarts," she nodded, making an attempt to change the subject. Hogwarts really was like her home, one that she usually stayed at during the holidays until last year. This year she would be going home as well, if the current planed stayed as is.
Kurumi stopped rubbing her cheek now and sort of just gawked at Evelyn. Okay...so the strange look from earlier hadn't been because there was something on her face. Awkward. "Oh...um...I guess not?" She was sort of looking for confirmation from Evelyn on that. Still, Kurumi's hands fell to her sides again.

"That's really cute little Evie, have you decide to name it--her--him--" what word to use? "the little...kitty..yet?" He smiled at her and hugged her back. Too cute to resist. But he realized he was showing his vulnerability and the other two--Lyssie and Taylor--were seeing through his stone personality. Guess that isn't important now. He was with his precious lil' sis. And to be honest, that's all that mattered.
Evie giggled as she landed securely in Zeke's lap, and beamed as she set Bearby down on his lap too. The kitty however, she kept hold of, in pure fear she would lose it and the train would slice it up. POOR KITTY. "Hiiiiiiiii!" the youngster almost cooed, prodding her not-really-family big brother on the nose.
"A name? Nooo! I'm waiting for Antonnnnn, so he can help me pick a name for him!" And that way, maybe her new kitty could be their superhero, seeing as they were sidekicks and had no superhero proclaimed, except for Bearby. "How are YOU, Zekey?" Because Evie cared lots about how he was and how he felt.
Hopefully she brought a lifes supple of lollies with her. She would hate it if Hogwarts (what a strange name) confiscated them. She would get so angry at the people she wouldn't care if she got detention, as long as she had her precious lollies filled with gummy bears, jelly snakes and jelly babies.
Thankfully the girl with her mother was kind and respnded. Why in Merlin's beard would they want to hide a train station if they wanted kids to come? It wasn't their first idea to go through smoke and go through walls was it? Without anymore question Liesel just nodded.
What? Oh the girl had just said something! Her name was it? It was Cass Prevet or something? Uh, she didn't care anyway. The girl put her hand out as she shook it she told the girl her name "Elisabet Walther, feel free to call me Liesel though." she said with a nice smile. Elisabet sounded more posh especially with Walther which had been the reason she told her that.
Cass resisted the urge to yawn as she ran her fingers through her hair, gathering her blonde curls into a high ponytail before tying it up with an elastic. She then rummaged around her bag and pulled out a plastic bag filled with an assortment of chocolates. Nothing like a sugar rush to wake her up, right?
"Chocolate?" She asked as she held out the bag towards the girl before she took one and popped the small ball of chocolatey goodness into her mouth.
The blonde then nodded slightly as the girl introduced herself "Nice to meet you Liesel." She said once more "What year are you in?"
Evie giggled as she landed securely in Zeke's lap, and beamed as she set Bearby down on his lap too. The kitty however, she kept hold of, in pure fear she would lose it and the train would slice it up. POOR KITTY. Anton? Zeke raised an eyebrow at the little girl sitting on his lap. "Who's Anton, hmmmm?" He teased and smirked at her. Her little boyfriend? But he decided not to voice that out loud. Bwahaha.
Only now did Zeke notice the way she called him. Zekey?
"Aww, that doesn't matter, Evey," huh. Slaang, bro. "I should be asking YOU. How are YOU?" And he bopped her nose.

Frowning, and feel slightly lightheaded but better altogether, William stood up, got behind his trolley, and began pushing it towards the girl. He finally reached her, and his suspicions were correct.
"Thank you," he said, his voice having a nasally tone, as usual, from the change-of-season allergies. "Are you alright?" He looked at her through his rather large, thick-framed glasses. "Aren't you happy to be coming back to Hogwarts?" He never thought about it, but he supposed there were some people who didn't like going away from their family for months at a time. Being such a bookworm himself, William couldn't possibly be happier!
Walking slower and slower as they approached doom, Zhenya began squeezing her father's hand a bit more. She was about to start hyperventilating if they didn't stop and pay her some attention. She would be leaving, not them!
And then she heard a voice, right near her. She looked straight ahead, confused, then looked to her side and spotted someone. Oh it was sneeze boy! She gave him a half smile, not quite happy enough for the full one.
She let go of her father's hand and watched as they continued walking without her. "I - uh..." she started, slightly confused as to how someone noticed she was sad. "Well my brother is home from travelling, and my uncle has just moved in, and my parents just had twins and now I have to leave them, whilst they all get to go home and have fun together... as a family. I don't want to leave them," she said sadly. She felt like they were already too busy with the twins to realise she was leaving for almost a year.
After a few moments of trying to calm herself down, she looked up through the boy's glasses at his eyes. "Are you sick?" she asked.

Evelyn gave a quiet sigh of relief when Kurumi changed the subject. It seemed like both their summers were not good so..it would be better not to talk about that at all. A small smile appeared on Evelyn's face at the mention of Hogwarts. "I agree. I've been waiting for this day since the day I got back home." Errm. Her face turned slightly pink. Right, this was slightly embarrassing. Yes, what she said was true but Evelyn really hadn't been meaning to say that to her..especially when she hardly knew the Gryffindor. Sigh.
Evelyn felt slightly uncomfortable when the girl stared at her. Was something wrong? Heh. Wait..what? "No. Erm..you face looks..fine." She was kind of wondering why Kurumi was asking her that. She was the one who was rubbing her cheek, right?

"I promised my Grandaddy I'd be brave, and not cry, and not keep following them around." Well, Hollis had added that last one in. But he hadn't mentioned holding his hand when she saw him around the castle. And Evie knew she would do that.
"I know Zeke," She offered quickly, but raised a hand in recognition of the other person. Taylor? And she was a Ravenclaw. WOW.
It was definitely obvious that Evie was happy to see Zeke because she squealed after waving, and dove into his lap to give him a big old HUG. "ZEKEEEEEEY! Look! LOOOK! I brought kitty!" The unnamed one. That he'd assisted her picking out.
Alyssa smiled at the younger girl."Sure you can help brush Nerfball any time you like. I tell you what if we happen to be in the same train compartment, I'll let you brush him for me. I'm sure that he would like that very much."
Then she saw Evie's face light up when she said hi to Zeke and Taylor. Evie knew him? From the way she squealed and jumped into his lap, she sure did. What was even more amazing was how Zeke acted with her. He treated her like he was her big brother. 'So he does have a soft side after all.' Alyssa thought to herself smiling.
As she waited for them to say their hellos, Alyssa was feeling little hungry and so reached into her backpack and pulled out a box of chocolate covered strawberries, a packet of potato chips and a can of cokes "Would you like to share this with me? My mom packd it for me and even though I love strawberries, I can only eat a few at a time and I don't want these to melt. I also have sodas if anyone is thirsty too" she offered both Evie and Zeke.

Alyssa was now starting to feel left out, but she didn't let that bother her. "Well I can see that you're both catching up on stuff. So I'll just sit here quietly and read my book."she smiled at them before pulling out her Quidditch Through the Ages
Lily pushed her trolley along the platform walking past a couple of older students before finding an open area. Here she stopped and turned to her cousin. "Benjy, don't forget to send me pictures of Lupin... especially the moving ones. And give my mom this letter and a hug from me." Beaming, she handed him the letter. "Oh... and thanks Benjy!"
Benjy followed behind Lily until she found an empty spot on the platform. Then he crouched down so that he was her eye level. "I'll make sure that I take a bunch when I visit with them, and I'll do that for you." Standing up, he grinned and patted her shoulder. "Have fun and I'll see you around Christmas." With that he turned and headed off the platform leaving Lily alone with her things.
Once Benjy left, Lily took her trunk and owl off the trolley and placed them on the ground before returning her trolley. When she came back, the little ravenclaw took a magazine out of her rucksack and took a seat on her trunk waiting until it was time to board the train.
Blue was in shock. How amazing was this? SHE WAS GOING TO HOGWARTS!!!!! And to get to the platform she had to RUN THROUGH A WALL!! She pushed a trolly that was filled with her trunk and her glass cage that held WMD the toad. She bounced up and down and her trolly was in danger of tipping over.
With all the items checked off his list and his belongings sent ahead to Hogwarts Leobald Kitridge on impulse decided to go and check out the platform. He hadn’t been to 9 3’4 since he graduated from Hogwarts. Would the atmosphere be the same? Would student’s still be running up and down the platform like rabbits trying to decide where to sit, like in his days?
Crossing through the barrier alone and without any luggage the tall dark haired man stalked around. The platform was pretty empty except for a few student groups here and there or an odd student sitting on the benches spread out across the length of the platform.
Going over to lean against the wall beside the train’s information stand Leobald took in the sight of the scarlet train and started to reminisce about his first train ride.

Was it really that hard for a sixteen years old to remember ALL of her stuff before leaving home? Louisa was pounding her feet on the ground as she emerged from the wall, Viola moving slightly away from her owner for the cat was smart enough to know when to approach the girl and when not to. This, apparently, was not the time to snuggle.
Louisa needed help, someone with a wand, someone old enough to do a good summoning charm without bringing ALL of her bedroom over here. Some who's leaning against a wall!! He might be a parent of some kid around because she couldn't recognize him from Hogwarts staff.
"Excuse me, sir?" She dragged her trunk behind and moved closer to him. "My name's Louisa. Could you please help me with something?" Like getting her stinking badge from all the way across London.
Alyssa laughed, "Yes I brush Nerfball every day. In fact I brush him every chance I get. He squirms around a lot in my pocket and that's why his fur gets entangled alot. So for now, I'm just leaving it tangled until we get on the train and then I'll be able to take him out and give him a proper brushing. Thanks for letting me sit with you. I think there's a bench where my stuff is."she told Evie as she walked back to her trolley looking back to make sure that the younger girl was following her.
"Your brother and sister aren't going to come back to you? Wow! you are really brave to be standing here by yourself. The first time I was here, I felt totally lost and alone."
It was then that Alyssa spotted Zeke speaking with a girl she knew. Taylor was her name. She wasn't sure how Zeke would welcome her but since he was nice to her at Adeline's birthday party, she figured that she'd wave hi to him.
"Hi Zeke. Hi there Taylor. It's good to see the both of you here too. Evie, this is Zeke and Taylor. Zeke's in Gryffindor and Taylor's in Ravenclaw."

Boyfriend. New cousin. Marriage. Dating. Something about being mad. Okaaaaay. That was a lot of information to take in. "Ohh, that's a pretty.." what was the word? "interesting life you have. Definitely a lot of things going on." Cause the most exciting thing he'd ever get at home would be.....NOTHING. Plain nothing.
Turning his head to follow the direction of the voice, Zeke saw Lyssie about a few feet away over at the other bench. Faaaaaaaaar away. But her voice was still audible, there wasn't much people around anyway. He attempted a smile and tried to wave. "Hey," so she knew the Taylor girl too. It wasn't a surprise. Lyssie knew probably almost everyone. "Yeah, I've met Evie already."

Tay looked over at the two girls joining them, "Hey Alyssa." She smiled, recongizing the girl then to the one she was being introduced to, "Pleasure meeting you, Evie." To Zeke, "Yeah..... but i hate it." She grimaced, "I want it to go away. The drama is annoying."
His dark green eyes traveled back and forth the platform. It was still as it had been since his days at Hogwarts. Phabian Wayne wrinkled his nose as a pair of chatty students passed by. He didn't like chatty people, most of the time it was stupid gossip that ran from their mouths. He turned to his son who was standing with his shoulders a bit hunched. "Square you shoulders, boy. I would have imagined you to have learn proper posture by now," he said, arching an eyebrow upward.
The boy was still stubborn. Even after all the training he's put him through the boy was still set on doing the opposite of what he says. But after the little stunt him, his Godfather and his little friend pulled not so long ago, Wayne was going to make sure to keep a closer eye on him.
Kennedy bit the inside of his cheek to keep from rolling his eyes at his father. His posture was great if you asked him, but nonetheless he squared his shoulders and stood straight as a needle. He was more that happy to be leaving a while. Hogwarts has officially become his home since his father's was more like an ominous cave and his mother's...well, he wasn't sure about that one anymore.
He rubbed his eyes and held in a yawn. Stupid nightmares had consumed his sleep and only managed three good hours of it until it was time for him to get up.
A tug at his hand made Kennedy looked down and he gave a slight grin to the child clutching his hand. Beverly, his newly discovered step-sister, had become a sort of rock for him in his father's manor. She was what kept him there too or he would have had ran away when his Godfather and best friend, Johnathan, kidnapped him from there.
Beverly Wayne looked up at her big brother with wide gray eyes that resembled the moon. She didn't want him to leave. What if he didn't come back? What if her uncle took him away again? She liked Kennedy. He was HER brother and she didn't want him to leave. EVER.
"Must you really go, Kennedy?" she asked in a small voice, her hand tightening around his.
Kennedy grinned and nodded. "Yes, but I'll be back for Christmas holidays and I promise to write," he said.
His step-sister had thrown a tremendous fit this morning of how she didn't want him to leave. Even his father looked at a lost as to what to do to calm her down. Kennedy knew that Beverly was the only one that had the power to unnerve Phabian Wayne like that, and something inside Kennedy liked that. He could use it to his advantage.
Looking down at Beverly once more he saw her smile and nod. Kennedy had a feeling she was going to Owl him every day.
New term! New books! and a new, improved Nessie. The now fourth year badger, walked along the corridor. Her trunk in her right hand and her owl in her left. Her pygmy puff, was perched right up on her shoulder safe and sound from all the moving feet. She walked slowly as she kept her eyes on the floor. None of this was new to her, but each time she came to Kings Cross she always seemed to be amazed at the architecture of the place. Her mind did that though, it wondered off to unimportant things.
It was because of exactly this, that Nessie stopped walking and instead began counting the bricks of a near by wall. "One, two, three, four..." It was all just curiousity. She had always tried to figure these silly impossible things, not that she was successful most of the time.
After she had counted her fifty fourth brick she paused, looked around and began counting again. As odd and as weird, this may have been, the red head found it rather entertaining and she couldn't stop herself from counting on. She even began walking so she could count more of the bricks.
Brick after brick, she just counted and counted...it was her way of distraction, distraction that she needed.

Cat under her arms, the dark haired Gryffie marched her way across the platform sporting her usual dark sungalsses. The sun had been annoying her lately. She hadb't seen it all year, so why come out now?!
Setting Maleficent on top of her trolley, she got a firmer grip of it with both hands and pushed.
After a few moments, her cat began to growl. Quickly taking hold of her pink collar, Thea frowned and scanned the area around her. Aha. Raising her eyebrows, she began to push her trolley again with one hand. 'Hi Ness..' She began cautiously to the Huffie standing infront of her. Spying the small bundle of fluff on the girl's shoulder, Maleficent stared at it with her large eyes.
'How are you?..' She cocked her head sideways, and just watched her.

One hundred and six, one hundred and seven....
Renesmee was still counting, but her thoughts were stopped when she heard a growling cat. Almost immediately she could feel her pygmy puff tighten he's grip on her shoulder. He disliked cats and was really frightened by them. She turned away from the brick wall and blinked when she saw a familiar friend right in front of her. "Thea? Merlin, its been long, since I've seen you." she said just a little shocked at what she was seeing.
Before she could answer Thea's next question, she felt Puffles sneak into her black leather jacket. It was tickilish and it took Nessie every bit of strength not to move or scream. He was clearly scared and she understood that, but did he really have to hide in her clothes? Silly pygmy puff and silly cat too.
Biting her lip a little, the red head attempted to answer Thea's question. "I'm ..alri.." she stopped and giggled. She couldn't contain it anymore..the pygmy puff had made her too tickilish.
The giggles went on for a few moments and then she stopped looking at Thea with red cheeks. This was embarrassing.

Nodding with raised eyebrows, Thea leant forward onto her trolley and just looked at the scene in front of her. Nessie. Counting bricks, and now laughing hysterically. Mhm. With an amused look on her face, she chewed a bit on her bubble gum. Blowing one last bubble up, she sighed and stood up straighter. Unhooking her finger from her cat's collar, she stroked her while keeping an eye on Maleficent's thrashing tail. 'She erm.. likes your little ball of fluff.' Thea laughed.
Smirking as she saw Ness blush, she shook her head.
'So.. good summer?' Part of her never really knew what to say to Ness. Out of her, Zara & Matt.. well they hadn't been the closest.Whatever, that was all back when they were eleven or.. well yeah. Anyway.

Ella couldn't believe it was already time for another term. She let her eyes wander up and down the platform, smiling as she saw many familiar faces. She was standing alone, having insisted that her dad say goodbye to her at the car. Caleb was having a temper tantrum and she didn't want her dad to have to carry him through the platform like that. Instead she made the walk alone, feeling a little more grown up than last year and a lot more confident. Now if she could only find her friends she could start the journey off the right way.

"I'M GOING TO HOGWARTS!!!!!!!!"
YEAH she was!
She beamed at a girl a little bit away.
"Are you going to Hoggy-warts too?"
'CAUSE SHE WAS!
Lily wasn't very comfortable as she sat on her trunk. She was waiting to get on the train and put on her Hogwarts robes. They always seemed to be just a bit more comfortable than her muggle clothing, though that could just be because of the knowledge that when she wears them, she feels magical. But instead, her cousin had dumped her here early and she had to wait for the train.
As she sat staring into the space that would soon be occupied by the train, the second year heard some kid yelling about hogwarts.... She had felt like that a bit the previous year, but also knew not to be yelling about it in a muggle train station... even if they were on a soley magical platform. And look... the kid was talking to Lily. "Wha.... oh... yeah. This will be my second year..." She replied shyly. Even though she had spent the past year away making new friends, she still wasn't very good doing so. Introductions were a must... "Uh.... I'm Lily Potter, Ravenclaw."
Well that was handy. Someone who was nice to tell her were something actually was. Why would they hide it? There could be many students that had no idea were it was! Think about them. Aside from that she was happy that this girl was nice. It would have been horrible if she was wasn't nice. But still this girl did look a bit suspicious.
"Oh yes please!" she said with a grin on her face. She loved chocolate a lot it was one of her favorite things ever! "Fifth year" she said responding to the girls question.
OHFOOD. OHMYASDFGHJKLFOOOOOOD. "Don't mind if I do," he grinned at Lyssie. "Is it okay if I have those chips? And I'll take some soda too." Blehh, he's so thick faced once it's about food. Zeke tried to reach out for them using one hand since he had an arm around Evie to keep her from falling backwards.
Book? Zeke raised his eyebrow as he examined what Lyssie was reading. Stretching his neck a bit forward, he got a good look of the title. Quidditch Through the Ages? Was this girl into playing Quidditch? Or just wanted to learn about it? "Hey Lyssie, you interested in Quidditch?" She could be interested, but could she PLAY? Lyssie playing Quidditch? Zeke couldn't imagine it. BUUUT if she was PLAYING it, he'd be clearly impressed. Very VERY impressed. Girls in Quidditch. AWESOME, BRO!
That reminds Zeke, he hasn't actually attended a match for Quidditch last term. Lol, he was too busy hanging around the Great Hall for food. But this term, he'd watch and find out who the players were. If he wasn't so laid back and lazy, he would've tried to even make the team. But for all he knew, if he made it into the team and played, he'd just be flying around there. Oh no wait, he'd just be on his broom flying on one place, not caring and just watching his teammates play against the enemy and occasionally dodge if ever a bludger comes his way. Lazy Zeke. Too bad though, the guy has mad flying skills.

Alyssa smiled when Taylor said hi back. From what she could understand from the last portion of the conversation that she had overheard Taylor telling Zeke, it sounded like she was having guy problems. 'Join the club, girl.'Alyssa thought to herself. She had enough of dealing with boys and their 'on/then off/then on/then off' switch. Now that she was Aaronless, she was feeling sad but at the same time she knew that she needed that break. She hoped that Taylor would eventually get over that sad feeling too.

Alyssa stretched out her arm and offered the bag to Zeke seeing that he was trying to do it without dropping Evie. She then reached in her bag for another Coke."Here you go. I hope Coke is okay with you. I do have Sprite and Dr. Pepper which I'm trying to get rid off now, since I don't drink it. The Dr. Pepper used to be theirs." Alyssa said offering the can of soda to Zeke.
She then noticed that Zeke was trying to look at what she was reading, so she wasn't surprised when Zeke asked her whether she liked Quidditch. It was the fact that he was interested in what she liked, made her uncomfortable for some reason. Not a bad uncomfortable feeling but actually the entire opposite. It felt so nice that she could feel her face starting to feel warm. 'Oh Merlin, am I blushing?' Alyssa thought to herself, trying to see her reflection on the surface of the can of Coke she was holding. But that didn't help at all, since the can was already red. She could feel the warmth spreading from her face to her ears and neck. So she quickly answered his question trying to hide her face behind her book. "Actually I don't like Quidditch. I absolutely love it. I play it every chance I can get. I was in Hufflepuff's House Team for last two terms as Beater. I hope to try out for the position of Chaser this term. But if there's someone better, than I'll be just happy playing my old position." Not wanting to sound long winded, she took a pause and looked back at the pages of the book, trying to read but failing miserably.
So she looked up and asked him. "Do you like playing Quidditch too, Zeke? Evie what about you? Are you interested in Quidditch?"

Perhaps it had been too forward for William to have gone after the girl and her family. Now her family was heading on without her, and she clearly looked sad. He frowned as she told him what was wrong.
"I'm terribly sorry," he said, scratching the back of his head. "But it is part of growing up! I'm sure your family will miss you and. . . well you can always send a letter via owl. . . " he stopped. He wasn't saying anything very comforting. He supposed it was in his character to act more mature and independent, except for his twin brother, Robert. He pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose and smiled awkwardly. He didn't talk to girls much.
"Oh, I'm not sick," he said, frowning once again. Although that could happen anytime soon, especially with the change of seasons. "I just have all-all-ACHOOO!" he turned to the side and sneezed into one of the tissues she gave him. "I'm not sure what it is. I'm allergic to quite a few things, actually." He sighed. His frailty wasn't exactly a pleasing characteristic he had. Nevertheless, he hoped he had just made a new friend.

Kurumi nodded. She felt the same way, only she was also very apprehensive about this coming term as well. At least how it was going to start off. She had two very important conversations that she needed to have with two people that she cared for very much. She knew what she had to do, it was just doing it that was frightening. So, she just nodded again to confirm that she was feeling the same way. "It will be nice not to have to worry about OWLs anymore, although I am sort of jealous that you have NEWTs this term." Because Kurumi could use the added distraction from everything else.
Okay, hand was going back to her side now and in her pocket...wait, she didn't have any pockets. Instead she held on to the bottom of her red and white striped sweater and shuffled her feet for a moment. "I thought that...maybe there was something on it...cause you sort of gave me a weird look..." Way to not make things awkward, Hollingberry. Kurumi still forgot that bowing was something that was uncommon in this part of the world or that people she did not know all too well were just not used to it being the Gryffindor's standard way of greeting.

Whichever it was Tag thought it was the most adorable thing in the world. "He's cute. You know what they say, pets take on their form of their owner..So you called him cute..." Or maybe that was just something Devon said to trick Tag so he shut up.
Mom.Pop. Tag was beginning to get watery eyed when Carter addressed to Anya to say goodbye to her parents. His hadn't been able to come because of work load and now he felt empty inside.
"Its like Oh My Gosh..Oh my Poptarts." She translated for him. She probably made the cheesecake boy hungry now.
"That's a unique name. You don't hear that name around as more." She said with an easy smile. Oh no, the boy got easily confused with the 'list'. "No,no..It just sounds like something Anya would make up, you know cause she loves everyone."
Devon manuvered through the crowed with a graceful ease, as if he were floating, and he stopped up at the sight of the two blondes."Did someone say PopTarts?" It was only his calling. Devon Strudel. He greeted his two friends then caught sight of "Quidditch boy." He said giving Carter a stern, but kind look. "Ready for an adventure of adventures?" Devon asked the 'celebrities' sister.
Anya blinked. Did... did Tag just say that she was cute? In a very roundabout and kind of awkward way?
Because. There was no way she was as cute as that little knarl.
Plus, she didn't really understand Tag's weird boy logic.
"You've got your guitar, right? You're still going to teach me how to play?" She brought her specialty instrument. You see, Anya was an excellent tambourine player.
"Oh. Sad. Because I'm hungry now." Carter said. Hungry for poptarts!
Carter shrugged lightly. He didn't really know what common girl's names were. And the name "Olivia" was Marilyn's idea. The last name was the part that really mattered to Carter. He chuckled. "Right. That's my baby sister for you." he said giving Anya a sideways grin.
"You should get off of him. You don't want to break him before he even gets to school."
And... there was the Devon kid...
"Strudel." he greeted.
Yeah. Carter was still hungry.
Anya nodded and scooted ever so slightly away from Tag. She grinned up at Devon. "Yup. It's going to be the best year ever!"

"I mean, yeah.." Tag spoke about nothing in particular when Anya gave him several looks.
Happy for a different subject, Tag was silently thanking Anya for changing it because he honestly had no idea what he had been trying to get at.Oh music. Guitar. Guitar lessons. Anya. "Yes, of course. I mean, if we're gonna be a 'band' we've got to look convincing right?" Because she knew what he meant by 'band'. He tapped the black, soft strap on his back in which his acoustic guitar was cased in.
"Phillips." Devon greeted him back in the same, "I'm gonna say your last name" tone. Then he rummaged through his backpack and whipped out a small plastic wrapping that had something soft on the inside. "I know its not cheesecake. But its an offering from PopTart Boy." Devon said passing Carter the strawberry poptart.Kid has me stock up on them all the time... Good, that's what I like to hear kiddo."He said in a happy smile towards Anya.
