WHAT??

Everything happened SO FAST that Sophie just stood there, watching the commotion with a confused look on her face. Laura fainted, wild Oakey appeared out of nowhere, Ella was... running away, Laura cautch up with her.

*poker face*

Did someone just cast a freezing spell on Sophie? Or worse, WAS SHE FREEZING LIKE THE PREFECTS??? Sophie shook her head and jumped up and down, flailing her arms to make sure she was still able to move.

Oh, good.

Huh? Huh? HUUUUUUUH?

Did Ella really think that she could pull off the same trick he had tried minutes ago. He certainly hoped not. Although deep down he wished she did get away because Oakey seriously considered doing the same again to leave this situation.

Huh? Stay where? Oakey asked becoming more and more confused by the second.
He was right too, Ella didn't get very far because Laura dragged her all the way back and stood behind her. What's going on? Why does Ella have to stay? Why did she faint, and why are we all still in pajamas??

Ohhhhhh, this has got to do with Oakey's talk to Ella. He was sure of it. Did she see him and Ella talking, and assume that he and Ella had a thing for each other. Laura, you can let her go. I don't have feelings for her, Ella's just a friend.

Right, RIGHT!?!?! Ella was just a friend, she was wasn't she? Wait no! he can't have conflicting feelings now! He was just starting to think he liked Laura! Did he like Laura? OOOOOOOH He wasn't sure! To many thoughts now! Distraction! Oakey needed a distraction!

YAY A DISTRACTION! Oakey turned his head quickly and watched Sophie do a very odd and crazy dance...Sophie? What are you doing?

Really. Ella should have known that wouldn't work. She just wasn't as good at fooling people as she liked to think she was. Gran would have been seriously disappointed in her acting skills. And now Laura was hiding behind her, Oakey was staring at her all confused, and Sophie was flailing.

Who said anything about Oakey liking her anyway? Oh Merlin's beard...this was getting more awkward by the moment. And to make matters worse, they were all in their PJs. MOST AWKWARD SLEEPOVER EVAHHH.

The second year turned to Sophie, not wanting to look at Oakey or Laura right now, and prayed her friend would help...or something. "You okay, Soph?...cause I could take you to the hospital wing if you need to go..." PLEASE NEED TO GO.

OAKEY SAY WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laura looked at Ella seriously she needed to do something. "Ella we should, eh we should." Laura thought long and hard. "Oh yeah Ella you promised you'd do my hair for me today." Laura smiled, yeah she was confuded now was Oakey hiding the fact he didn't like Laura and fancied Ella instead.

Laura stood behind Ella and kept there. "Did you have anything else to say?" Seriously was he going to give her an answer soon, did he love her or did he just want to keep her out of trouble, or in the worse case did he hate her and was only here so he could laugh at her PJ's.

So no freezing for Sophie. That felt good. She smiled as she looked back at her friends... that were now looking funny at her.

"Um... I'm fine." Blink. "I was just checking to see if I had frozen like the prefects." Which she hadn't, so NO, no need to go see the evil healer.

Whyyy was everyone acting so awkward now?? Sophie was completely lost. "Are you guys okay?" She said as she looked at all of them. Sophie was used to Laura's... strangeness, but what was she doing hiding behind Ella?

She blinked again and looked around. She was feeling confused too, with all of this confusion-ness in the air. That was contagious!

Oh look, s'more! Sophie took a bite from the tasty smore she had taken from Muggle Studies and looked back at her friendss. Nom nom nom. "Do you guys want a bite?"

*Blink Blink*

...Well this was an entirely normal situation and not at all awkward.

Ella kind of just stared at Laura, eyebrows raised, as her friend used her as a human shield and said something about her having agreed to do Laura's hair. Huh? If she ever tried to do anyone's hair she would have made them look like a cave woman or something and...OH. Laura was just trying to escape too now, right? Well too bad. SO SAD. Hmph. Laura hadn't let Ella run away so she wasn't going to let Laura. Nope. Maybe Oakey could like...run away again. That might be helpful.

The second year just started giggling when Sophie said she was testing to see if she was frozen. She WOULD be testing something like that and Ella just wanted to hug her friend at the moment for being just...so Sophie. At least one of them was acting completely normal and not at all weird. You go, Soph. "I'm glad you're not frozen, Sophie. That would be so scary." And she meant that. Ella would be crushed if one of her besties was all frozen and stuff.

Were they okay?...Well if being completely confuzzled about life and wanting to run away and hide in the dormitory was okay...yup. They were totally fine. Just dandy.
"We're ....good." *Blink Blink*

S'mores?! FOOD? Ella forgot all about acting as Laura's pajama blocker and skipped over to Sophie, fingers moving in a grabbing motion. "Meee pleaseeee!" Food was like...the best cure for awkwardness ever.

Laura looked at Ella, Sophie and Oakey, okay so she needed to think, did Ella like Oakey or was it the other way round and if so did Oakey like Sophie as well and if that was the case did he like her or was he just saying things to spend time with Sophie and Ella, after all they were the brainy one's them and Carigan but she was the troublemaker the person that everyone thought was just a clown and would just mess about all the time.

Laura's head was feeling a bit funny now, she didn't know what to think and now she didn't want an answer from Oakey incase, he told her that she was ugly and stupid and a class clown and that was all she would be good for.

Laura looked as Ella moved to get something from Sophie and whilst the other three weren't looking she quietly left, she had to think things through, maybe she should just let them all be happy without her and her pranking it probably would make them all happy, she would think things through whilst getting something to eat.

Nathan liked to roam around the castle a lot. He did that a lot.

Slipping out his common room and just randomly walking here and there was starting to become a hobby of his.

Oh yes.

Right now, just after dinner - instead of walking with his fellow house mates to the common room, he had slipped away to the first floor corridor. Just walking .. hands in pocket ..

walking .. and whistling ..

No matter how long she had been attending school here in this castle - or would be attending school here in this castle, - Delphinia Eumelia Suvari would still get lost every waking second she wasn't hiding away in some corner or in the comforts of her room. So naturally, being that she had either grown brave or just plain stupid, Delphi found herself tripping on the last couple of steps as the staircase she had been traveling down decided to change directions before her feet could find solid ground.

And when they did, the young brunette found herself spinning in involuntary circles, trying to figure out which floor she was on and where to go from there.

Spin..Spin.. dizzy.. SMACK!

As any well skilled, talented awkward teenage girl in a nearly foreign place, Delphinia collided with something very solid (no.. it wasn't a wall), knocking herself to the ground with a stunned, "Aof!"

Walk. Walk. Walk.

The fifteen year old scratched his head, feeling the weight of a pretty heavy girl on him. Lying there on the ground, pretty casually he asked: "did you want to dance or something?"

Right, this was turning out to get them nowhere. Oakey was confused, speechless and had no idea what it was he was supposed to say. He was around Laura just minutes after telling Ella he thought he liked her but wasn't sure.

He was stuck in such a long train of thought that the only thing that got him out of it was a growling stomach and Sophie offering a bite of her smore.

*Blink*

I-I'll have a bite Oakey said with no Laura nearby anymore(where did she go????). If she was he was going to comment her on her pajamas. He didn't understand the meaning of the Cartoonish Great Dane on it and wanted to ask, in a less awkward situation.

Good! Ella and Oakey wanted a bite of the smore! Only... it was small... NOT A PROBLEM! Sophie pulled out her wand and tapped the smore with it. "Engorgio." Because she had practiced the spell HE had taught her. Ahem.

Sophie divided the smore in four BIG pieces and handed one to Ella, one to Oakey and one to... "Where's Laura?" She looked around. Wasn't she there just a minute ago? The second year eyed Ella and raised her eyebrows. Was their friend... avoiding Oakey now? WHY? Sophie tried to spend as much time as possible with Mordred whenever she got the chance. Why, WHY was Laura running away from Oakey?? Didn't she like him anymore??

Not possible. Okay, Sophie kneeeeww Oakey wasn't as good looking and awesome as Mordred, but he was still a nice guy... the young badger stared at Oakey, studying him. Right, she'd admit it, he was even kind of cute. Nothing compared to lovely Mordred, but still. She turned to Ella again. "What... happened?"

Ella watched, eyes focused on the smore, as Sophie made it quite large. "Nice idea, Sophie." She said with an appreciative smile. And who wouldn't appreciate a giant smore? Once again her bestie had proved to be quite handy in the spell department.

The blonde accepted her piece of the tasty treat eagerly and watched as Sophie then handed one to Oakey and one to Lau-...O__O Huh? Where was she? When had she left? Was Laura a ninja or something? How could she have escaped so quietly when Ella hadn't made it five steps before she was dragged back to this awkward fest? Sneaky sneaky. Ella met Sophie's raised eyebrows with ones of her own and shrugged, motioning her head towards Oakey. Laura was clearly trying to get away from him...or them. She really had to stop doing that...the running away thing.

And then the second year watched as Sophie starting staring at Oakey...what was she doing, anyway? ...Probably checking out his hair and comparing it to her beloved Morbid's. Mhmm. That's exactly what she was doing. Ella smirked and gave her friend a knowing look before taking a big bite of her smore. YUM! And then Sophie was looking at her again, expectantly this time. What had happened? Ella felt like fainting dramatically...if only because she'd explained this several times already and she was tired. Her brain felt like it might explode at the moment but at least her last meal would be delicious. Mhmm. Looking at Oakey and frowning slightly, Ella turned back to Sophie and gave her the condensed version. "Oakey and I...had a talk after Muggle Studies and then he left and Laura found me in the hallway and asked me what I was doing...and when I told her I was talking to Oakey she was curious because..." Whoops. Oakey was right there. She couldn't give too much away. "...because she was just being curious and then she wondered if it had been about her." And Oakey could jump in to fill in the blanks if he wanted but Ella wasn't going to say anymore...not until Soph and Ella were alone and could flail in private.

Wow Sophie, Awesome! He graciously took the s'more from her and began munching on it. Mmmmmm, it was so gooey crunchy and chocolatey. Much better than candy!

He closed his eyes for a moment to enjoy the s'more moving the delightful treat back and forth in his mouth so that each of his maulers could have the sensation. He opened his eyes only to find Ella and Sophie having some kind of odd three-way staring contest with him, Oakey quickly joined in giving the two girls looks back and forth.

Then Sophie asked what had happened. Oakey stopped his contest quickly and locked his gaze on Ella as she answered! Don't say to much! He thought hoping she could read his mind. As Ella finished recounting their encounter with the no absent Laura, Oakey nodded in agreement. Geup Dabts Brebty Mubch Whubt Habbened Whoops his mouth was still full of s'mores!

Sophie simply smiled as her friends reacted to the lovely spell the lovely kid had taught her. It was awesome, wasn't it? Teehee!

But since Laura wasn't there aymore, she divided what would be her piece in 3 other smalled pieces and handed one to each Hufflepuff there. "there, we should just finish it." No use keeping it for later, it should be eaten while it was still a bit hot! Nom nom!

She chewed away as she listened to Ella explanation. Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! They have TALKED! She wondered what about... Laura was curious because... TEEHEE!! She kneeeew whyyy! A little smirk played on her lips but she quickly pulled on a poker face again. Sophie didn't want to let Oakey know she knew about... things. Heh!

"Right, I get it." She said to Oakey as he completed Ella's line. She wanted to flaaail with Ella right now, but she just couldn't. Not in front of Oakey, at least. Fdetfrtgfr!

Um... "So... what are you guys up to noow?" She wiggled her eyebrows at Ella then looked at Oakey. Play it cool, Soph.

GRIN!

Ella giggled as Oakey finished her story with his mouth full. He wasn't eyeing her anymore either, which was good, apparently she had given just enough information to Sophie so she was happy about that. Ohh. And another piece of smore to share?! YES! Play it cool, Ells. "Sure...I mean we wouldn't want it to go to waste or anything." She said with a small smile...And she tried and FAILED to take her time grabbing the delicious snack from her friend and munching on it. Mmmmm.

Teeheehee. Sophie totally knew what Ella was talking about without her having to say it out loud. They were totally the best besties ever, being able to just know what the other was thinking. It was like their own best friend super power! Which was SO cool. They would definitely be flailing about this later. Definitely.

The eyebrow wiggling? Ella grinned...and wiggled her eyebrows back at her friend awkwardly before bursting into laughter. What were they doing now? Ella shrugged. "I'm not doing anything...you guys?" Cue a smile from Oakey to Sophie. They could hang out somewhere else if they were up for it. And ...."Where do you think Laura went off to?" Cause the blonde was still a bit concerned.

Oh Cool more S'mores! Oakey graciously snatched the treat from Sophie's hand and began is munching. He was so focused on his own chewing that he failed to notice any of the weird eyebrow movements the two Hufflepuff girls were giving each other. Even if he did see this he wouldn't get it. Girls were weird.

Then Ella's sudden burst of laughter brought his attention back to them and he just heard Sophie's question, swallowing his s'more before answering her this time. I think I may change out of these pajamas then go for a walk around the grounds. You know like he always does. He carefully avoided the where's Laura question. He's had enough of that drama today and needed to clear his thoughts before making any major decisions about her.

Right then... riiiiight.

Oh! They were still on their pyjamas! "What's that spell you used to transfigure your clothes back in the Room of Requirement, Oakey??" She must learn iiiiit! "You could use it now! And teach me!" Grin.

"I have no idea, really..." Laura was a pro at running away. Sophie was used to it and didn't worry about it anymore. She would come back eventually anyway! Heh!

Ow. Owwwwwww!

Eyes squeezed shut tightly, Delphinia carefully opened one green eye, slightly- no, MORE than slightly unnerved by the fact she was dangerously close to another human being's face. Nathan's face. Nathan's eyes. She was laying on top of Nathaniel Aspen. They really needed to stop meeting like this.

Delphinia quite literally sqeeked, rolling off of the boy's chest and shoving herself further apart from him in a hurry, her cheeks burning red.

Did she- WHAT?!

"No! I don't want to dance!" Delphi cried loudly, green eyes narrowing on the perfectly innocent Hufflepuff, "I was trying to find the grounds! I don't even know what floor we're on! I was going one way, and then the blast stairs changed on me TWICE, and I don't know if I'm left or right or where my room is anymore!" By the time she finished ranting, and realized she'd been ranting, Delphi's eyes grew wide again as they had when she'd first figured out that no- the floor hadn't gotten softer in the last couple of months, she had landed on a male student. Probably the only person in the whole school she actually knew.

Delphinia's head lowered, dark hair falling into her face with the motion. She lowered her voice as well, "..Sorry."

Laura had been to get changed, she was starting to feel cold from all the time she had been standing around, she decided she wanted to go to the second floor, surely Oakey, Sophie and Ella would have left the corridor by now, she'd talk to them later when her mind was a bit clearer, she turned onto the first floor corridor and

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKKKK!

Seriously they were still there and they were still in their PJ's well Laura would have a bit of fun putting on a fake voice she said. "Why are you three standing around in PJ's?" Seriously she couldn't wait to see the look on her friends faces, she still had a mars bars in her hand that she had been eating on the way here.

Sophie wanted to learn the spell he used in the Room? Yeah sure. He said to Sophie, but it only works on the casters clothes. So if you don't mind clothes twice your size?.

And at that Oakey took his wand out and switched his pajamas for his School Uniform. It's really simple. You just have to know your wardrobe. He said happily to Sophie and Ella if she was still listening. It really just switches out items and I use it for clothes. He demonstrated the spells incantation and wand movement once more changing into a simple Orange Hoodie and Blue Jeans. See that, I can't keep track of all of my clothes so I memorized some PJ's, my School Uniform, My Bag, and two outfits.

Before he could continue his demonstration on this spell Oakey spotted Laura from the corner of his eye! Why had she come back! Time to split Oakey thought. We can continue this some other time. Oakey grabbed his bag and darted off. No more awkward moments please!

Ella shrugged. She didn't know where Laura went either but she was sure that her friend had gone off to think about things...or avoid the awkwardness. That's what she would have done...and did try to do, actually. But she had totally failed.

Grin. Sophie would ask about that spell. The second year was kinda glad she did, though. She was also eager to learn how Oakey had done that. And so when he started to explain, Ella listened carefully, clearly interested in learning his mad skills. O__O Woah! And then he was out of his PJs and into his uniform. Cool! "That was quite cool, Oakey." Ella said with an appreciative smile. She wanted to learn that...definitely! And hey! He did it again! The second year was tempted to clap but that would maybe be a bit lame, right? So instead she smiled. It actually didn't seem that complicated after all. Especially if you only memorized a few items of clothing. Ella would definitely be doing that when she finally returned to her dorm. "Cool. I want to try now and-"

Really Oakey? REALLY? Why did everyone else get to run away from things but Ella was always dragged back into the epic awkwardness? SO not fair. Ella turned to Sophie with her eyebrows raised, not really knowing what to make of all this.

Sophie watched Oakey as he demonstrated the spell. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! "That's SO cool, Oakey!!" She exclaimed as she bounced up and down. For some strange reason she kept having the urge to flail about. She has been doing that a lot lately...

Anyway, she nodded at Oakey's explanation and really felt like practicing that spell! But she thought it would be better if she tried it out for the first time in the dorms. You know, if anything went wrong, she was safer there. That was the kind of spell you should only do in public when you felt really confident about!

And there was Laura again. Sophie had just opened her mouth to thank Oakey properly when he was already leaving! Wha...? "Um, okay! Thanks, Oakey!" She said waving her hand as the older Hufflepuff left.

The second year turned her attention to Ella who seemed to be as confused as her. Those two were really weird, weren't they?? Sophie shrugged her shoulders. "Well, I think I'm going to the dorms to see some outfits and try this spell out! Want to come along??" She casually asked her friends as she turned around and started skipping her way down to the Hufflepuff Common Room.

Yep, ignore awkward moments was the best thing to do sometimes!

Not sure how to feel, Alec wandered around the castle, letting himself get completely lost. Except, he couldn't really get lost in this castle. Not when he knew it so well. It wasn't like a person, at all. With a person, you can feel lost and confused and even distant. Not with the castle. Not at all.

The young Hufflepuff dug his hands into his pockets as he walked along the First Floor Corridor very slowly. He didn't exactly know why he was here, of all places. His feet could have carried him anywhere from the Kitchens to the Lake. But instead, he was wandering around aimlessly along a corridor he barely ever went to, apart from classes.

Reaching a random point along the corridor, Alec sat down. He readjusted his hood before leaning back against the wall. There. Peace. That was pretty much perfect.

Brooke felt so lonely these days, she never knew what to do with herself these days. Well, apart from go to classes and stuff. She wasn't sad or anything, but everyone else was. Life used to seem so simple, she just rolled around and giggled through everything.

Not anymore...

Everyone else seemed to be sad now-a-days and it was a lot harder to have fun by yourself, well no it was easy to have fun by yourself but it was hard to have fun when everyone else around you was so having the opposite of fun. Brooke sighed, skipping along the corridor nonetheless, a huge smile on her face as usual because if everyone else was sad she was going to be extra happy in order to try and make them feel a bit happier.

She spotted a boy, little did she know it was Alec, with his hood up slumped on the floor. People only put their hoods up for 2 reasons a) it was raining. b) they didn't want to be seen. Brooke skipped over and plopped herself uninvitedly down next to the boy. "Hi...im Brooke." she whispered into the boys ear, getting right close to his face to make sure he could hear her, keeping her face in the same position in case he whispered a reply back.
