Harvey was surprised to see that Mins was getting up already.. he didnt know their conversation was over.. "Oh ok.. er.. no worries.. you go meet with the professor.. Yeah I will talk to you later" he said as he watched her walk upto the castle.. he then smiled and looked at the spot where she had sat and noticed her parchment.. he looked up and saw that she had gone.. so he picked up the parchment and read it.. he smiled as he read through it.. he then wondered what she meant by the rest of it.. what offer? too slow?.. what information? and who is she talking about? best? best what?.. wow this tiny letter had brought so many questions to mind.. what was Mins upto with Edward? was this to do with that trip?.. oh no.. was Edward getting her to do stuff for him?.. he hoped not.. that would be too dangerous for her.. and Harvs was not ready to lose her just yet.. oh boy.. he needed answers.. but that would mean revealing that he read this letter.. but he had no choice.. if she was in danger he wanted to know.. she was his best friend.



Just then he heard someone call him.. so he quickly folded the parchment and put it into his pocket.. he looked up and saw ... Ameliah.. yeah that was her name.. his housemate.. "Oh hey Ameliah.. yeah.. yeah its been a while.. how have you been?" he asked smiling as he looked at her..

Ameliah grinned. "Pretty great, you?"

What was that parvhment about? She went into full Claw mode... He looked shifty as he read it, so it wasn't his. Some Puff girl just left, looking slightly flustered. Harvey looked confused himself... She continued, "...Besides... girl trouble? Or confusion including a girl?"

Harvey smiled as she spoke "Er.. er.. no.. no none of those.. er.. its just been a while since we have hung out.. you know.. so just getting used to hanging out again.. but..er... good to hear you are great.. er.. I am good" he smiled as he said all this stuttering along the way.. well that was sort of true.. they hadnt hung out in a while and they had hung out a few times recently. "What have you been upto since we last met?" he asked her as quite a long amount of time had passed since they had last seen each other.

Ameliah raised her eyebrows, but didn't pursue the subject. "The usual. I met a few new friends. Had a snowball fight with Duck Boy a while back. Played guitar in public for the first time. Confusion."

Harvey saw her raise her eyebrows and knew that she didnt believe him.. well he hoped she would.. he listened to her "Wow I didnt know that you played the guitar.. I hope you enjoyed playing it in public.. snowball fights are always good fun!! good to hear that you have met some new friends.. how the usual friends?.. whats the confusion about?" he asked wondering what was confusing her.. maybe he could help with the confusion.. he was sometimes good at that

Ameliah laughed. "Well, that would be the point of first time." she joked. "Haven't seen Trinity or Lily in a while. Taylor is... distraught. I'm pretty sure she's over it, but at the wedding our dear brother slipped her amnoretia and she kissed Damon." She heard the last question... should she tell him? "The confusion.... well half of me is falling in love with Logan, but he's dating Ella. And the second half of me keeps saying I don't love him, that he's just a great friend."

Minerva rushed back to the willow she left her letter, no one could find it and read it. Especially Harvey. She went over to where she was, but it was gone and then she saw him. He was with another girl. Did she really know him at all. Beginning of term flash backs came back to her with finding him so friendly with his snake friend and now he was hanging with another girl, while he hadn't talked to Ame in who knows how long. Then she wondered where Ame was, she hadn't seen her either which right now was probably a good thing. She messed with her bracelet nervously. "Harvey" she said a little stern "Did you take my parchment?" She looked at the girl still wondering who she was.

Harvey chuckled.. "Yeah that would be it" he said as he listened to the rest "Yeah I know how that feels.. as I said I hadnt seen my friend in a while.. oo I see.. oh.. well those can be troublesome." he said as he watched her think whether to answer his question.. "Yeah I know how that feels too!.. there was this girl I really liked and I kept having to tell myself that she is just a friend and nothing more.. then I realised that I DID like her.. but I guess it wasnt to be. I guess these things just happen" he smiled as he thought of Minnie and the number of times he had to lie to himself that his feelings for her meant nothing except friendship



Harvey was talking to Ameliah when Minnie came back and asked him about her parchment a little sternly.. and he saw Minnie look at Ameliah "Er.. yeah.. I er.. do have it.. here".. he said taking out the folded parchment from his pocket and handing it to her.. wondering whether he should question her right now.. he continued to look at her to see if he could guess what she was thinking and to see if there was a reaction from her.. though she seemed nervous.. maybe he wasnt supposed to read it.. oh well too late for that now.. he had many questions due to that tiny letter

Ameliah bit her lip. Yep. Girl trouble. She thought back to the parchment Harvey read and rushed to pick up. Well, here goes. Hope I don't blow this for ya, Harvey. "Hi! I'm Ameliah, Harvey's friend. she added extra emphasis to the last word. "We met in our common room a while back."

Minerva took the parchment sharply and threw it in her bag. "Did you read it?" she felt like she knew the answer by his nervous ways. Or was he nervous because he was hiding something. She looked at the girl again. She was annoyed and irritated looking at the girl "Who the bloody hell are you?" That greeting wasn't nice at all Minnie thought, but she shrugged it off and turned back towards Harvey "So did you read my parchment or did you keep your bloody nose out of it?"

Harvey listened as Ameliah said hello to Minnie who was asking him if he had read her parchment.. uh oh .. what to say.. should he lie?. but then he wouldnt get answers to his questions.. she then asked Ameliah quite rudely who she was .. ok that was not like her AT ALL "Er.. Mins.. you dont have to be so rude.. she is just a fellow claw" he said as she asked him again.. he thought about it for a while and decided that it was no point lying when he had a lot of questions.. "Er.. yeah I read it.. I just wanted to see if you were ok.. and I thought that I would get that from that letter.. so yeah I did read it" he said nervousily.. ok here it comes.. boy was she going to be mad.. she already was.. but it was about to get a lot worse.. and he would get it.. he hoped he could handle it. He had never seen her this angry before.. she was changing between nice and angry fast these days.. he never knew how to react to her

Ameliah stepped back, offended, but decided she wasn't going to take rudeness. "Well that was very nice!" she said bitterly. I don't even know who YOU are! I was just talking to Harvey! WAIT. Did she think Harvey and Ameliah were dating?
"No," she said, shaking her head. "I'm NOT dating him! You have NO RIGHT to be so rude to a stranger! So take your parchment, do... WHATEVER, and go!"

"YOU READ IT? How dare you.. That was none of your business Harvey Watson. That was a letter between me and my cousin." Then the girl started bossing her to leave. Minerva looked at her a bit shocked at first and then a sneaking grin crossed her lips, not one that she had ever had before. She stepped closer to the girl and spoke in an different tone. "What did you just say to me firstie" she had never called anyone that before. She hated it last term. "Let's get something straight right now. NO ONE and I mean no one will tell me when to leave or what to do." she glared at the girl.

Ameliah felt more and more angry. She didn't back down. She NEVER backed down. (And she was an inch talle.r) "Look," she said, "You don't intimidate me. Not my fault if you're ego is too big to accept that. But I don't care. I don't care if you call me 'firstie'. I don't care if no one has bothered to stand up to you. And I don't care about your sad attempts to hurt me. I am free to say whatever I like, if it's wrong or right, and talk to my FRIEND."

Harvey was shocked to see Ameliah speak like that.. he had never seen her like that before.. though granted they hadnt been in a situation like this before.. oh she thought that Mins thought they were dating.. no Mins knows that he is already dating another girl.. but still it was quite surprising to see both girls like this.. for different reasons .. just then Minnie turned on him "Ok.. I am sorry .. I.. I know I shouldnt have read it.. but ... erm.. it was kind of er... cryptic.. and I was just wondering what it was about." he said to see if Mins was going to reveal anything about what that letter meant.. he would try to get some answers out of her regarding that.. he then saw Mins go towards Ameliah and talked to her glaring at her.. if he wasnt careful this could get worse..

Minerva took her eyes off the girl only for a second she could feel herself talking through clenched teeth. She had never felt so angry. "It is none of your business what the letter was about. You had no right Harvey, none. You are not my fath..." she didn't finish she turned back at the girl. Who does this chick think she was. "I don't intimidate you?" she laughed when had Minerva intimidated anyone. "Do you think I care what a little nobody thinks. Let me tell you something princess. I know your not dating Harvey, because I thought (looks at Harvey) he was dating my best friend, but I could be wrong I guess." she could feel her hand twitch towards her wand, she hadn't felt her hand do that since Rose and she hadn't seen Rose all term. She did not touch her wand, she knew better right now. She knew the instructions she had. "She glared at both of them. "You know Eddie was right I about my Amigo group, I was just to dumb to believe him. I can't trust any of you. Then you have your pet firstie doing your fighting for you. Nice Harvs, nice."

Ameliah laughed bitterly. Pet? Fighting for him? I'm fighting because YOU were a snot. YOU were so high up, YOU thought you could just come here and be a prat to me for no reason." she spat. "And your ex IS NOT a cheater. You just need to drop the prissy additude." she added with a snarl. She was close to getting her wand. THAT would have been bad for this... git.

Harvey listened as the two girls spoke to each other.. but Minnie was also speaking to him .. and he knew she was about say father.. had she changed THAT much "Ameliah.. Minnie is not trying to hurt you or anything.. she is just going through some stuff right now" he said just as Minnie turned to him "Mins.. you know I am still with Ame.. we just havent spoken in a while thats all.." he said as he watched her.. he then saw that glare that she gave him.. uh oh.. not good "Edward said that?.. Mins you CAN trust us.. we are your friends.. and I have told you before and I will say it again and again.. I dont want to lose you!! No she is not fighting for me!".. he said as he realised that maybe Edward was not the family Harvs thought he was.. if he said that to Mins.. he wondered what else he had told her .. was he trying to distance Minnie from them?.. what was he upto? he wondered. He would try all he could to keep Mins as part of the Amigos.

Did she just call me a prat? "A Prat, prissy" Minerva just started laughing. She didn't know why she thought that was funny, but it made her laugh. "The only prat I see here is some girl that has no business even being in this conversation. If you think.." she didn't finish her sentence because Harvey distracted her she turned towards him forgetting the girl standing there. Her eyes glazed with anger "Can I trust you? Where is Ame? Where is Justin? Some friends. Not even around." she raised her hand and pointed her finger into his chest and began poking it into him as she spoke. "If you think for a second I am going to go back to that helpless git that I was at the beginning of term you have another thing coming Harvey Watson. Maybe it's a good thing Ame isn't around I would hate to think I might..." she shook her head, no she wasn't speaking anymore. She might have said to much. She turned back to the girl "Don't you ever and I mean ever come near me or get into my business again or you will be sorry."

Harvey watched both girls he hoped they wouldnt start getting their wands out.. cause that would be bad! just then Minnie turned to him "YES!! Yes you can trust me!! you know that! I dont know where they are! studying I guess.. BUT I am here like I always was!" he said as she started poking him in the chest as he listened to her.. ok why did she stop there "You were not a helpless git.. you were going through a tough time.. we all were.. what?.. what would you do?.. yell at her too?.. Mins she is your best friend we are your best friends .. and no matter what happens dont you forget that.. we are your friends.. we love you and we dont want to lose you .. ever!!!" he said emphasising the last word.. then Minnie turned to Ameliah and told her to stay away.. while she was doing this.. he wondered what she was about to say about Ame.. then he remembered the letter.. in there she had written that she couldnt give Edward something cause she was her best friend.. was she talking about Ame? oh no.. was Edward getting Minnie to spy on Ame?..

Minerva glared at the girl for a bit and then looked at Harvey. Neither was worth detention. "I don't know who I trust anymore. Do me a favor Watson, just stay away from me for awhile. I need to be alone." she turned and walked away before doing something stupid. That was the rudest she had ever been to anyone and part of her actually enjoyed it. She grinned a bit as she walked confident back to the castle.

Harvey watched as she glared at both him and Ameliah.. before she spoke to him.. which took him by surprise.. she ACTUALLY said that?!.. stay away from HER?!.. she wanted to be alone?.. what had happened to her.. just when he thought he was getting through to her and the old Minnie was coming back she goes and does this. "You can always trust me! We will see about that!" he yelled out to her as she walked away.. she had a different walk.. he then put on a straight face.. he didnt want Ameliah to know that he was hurt by that.. and hurt it did.. ALOT!.. she had always loved him being by her side even as a friend they had hung out almost everyday and had good times together.. and now suddenly this!.. and it all started after Edward came into her life.. was Edward responsible for this new Minnie?.. it was scary to think that he could be.. could Edward be turning Minnie against all that loved her?.. he hoped all of this was not true!!

Ameliah was breathing heavily. "That... that prat... lousy git... doesn't know what she's getting into...." she looked up at Harvey. "W-What was that about? She was so rude!"

Alec smiled, his eyes following a group of small birds that were flying across the sky in a circular pattern. Funny how birds worked. "Me too. It's too nice to stay indoors," he said, "So, erm, how are the... OWL's? How are they going?" Were they called OWL's or something else?

Ad was nice, really. And some part of him liked getting all these compliments but if there was one thing he knew, it was that he wasn't 'amazing' at Seeking. Ellie had just been having a bad day, that's all. "Thanks Ad. I just... We had an amazing team out there," Yeah, he'd leave it at that. His smile widened at the 'little brother' part. "And I'd hate for my older sister to be worried about me," he said, smiling over at her, "What's making you stressed and tired, Ad?"

Hate them? "But they look nice on you!" He was probably saying that because he was too used to seeing Ad with her glasses. ... Did she always wear glasses? "Do they hurt you?" Having never worn glasses, apart from sunglasses, he had no idea what it felt like to wear glasses.

Ad smiled and followed Alec's gaze up to the birds. "Much, much too nice" she sighed happily. "The OWLs are going well, I guess. I don't think I'll pass" she shrugged.

Ad smiled slightly. "You're welcome, Alec. All the Quidditch teams are great, but I personally think Hufflepuff always seems to get the greatest players" she said honestly. She grinned over at Alec. "A lot of stuff. Life in general" was her only honest answer.

Ad took them off and sighed. "Notheydon't" she mumbled. She shrugged. "Not really. Like, if I wear them for a long time, they hurt the bridge of my nose" she explained.
