Kurumi jumped backwards and just narrowly avoided one of its branches that had tried to take a swing at her. "N-N-nevermind," she stammered, wand in hand. "Immobulus!" she shouted her wand pointed at the tree. "Adam, you grab it. Cast the Gripping Charm on your hands and try to snatch it. I'll try to keep the tree at bay and...Kennedy, you are the quickest with your spells, keep an eye out for any Puffs."

Hopefully her spell had stopped the Whomping Willow, yes?

"Go on, Adam. I got...your back," he said, his wand at the ready. He's never said those words before. Probably because in the past he didn't have friends that had his back.

Enough of memory lane. Time to guard...Gryffindors.

Adam's hands were shaking so nervously. He did as he said an cast the charm on both his hands just to be extra sure. Kurumi was jumping back an forth an dodging the tree. Then she casted immobulus on it an the tree stopped swinging. He went up on his tip. He almost had it on his finger tips, he just got on his tip toe an he felt himself slip backwards, but he felt something on his hand.

"Protego!" Kennedy said, getting in front of where Adam was hoping to shield him in the process too.

That girl was fast. "Expelliarmus!" he shot at her.

The whomping willw branch waved wildly but the Gryffindor boy managed to rip it down with him in the fall. The blue flag flapped in his grasp. The flag liked being held.

No! He didn't have it in his hand. Adam smiled brightly but this was only the easy part of his task. Now he had to go all the way out of here, making his way about deflecting spells as he did so. Yes, his job was barely beginning.

After getting up he nearly tripped as he ran away. There was grass on his hair but at the moment it didn't matter. He'd have to get out of there quick. But people were already coming..To the lake now.

Her wand shot out of her hand and flew by the whomping willow. She scrambled desperately for it. C'mon, where was it!! Ah ha! She grasped it and turned back to the other students. By this time one of them had god the flag. "For the love of Merlin," She muttered.

"Glisseo!" She yelled, pointing her wand slightly in front of the Slytherin guy. That should do the trick.

Kurumi saw movement out of the corner of her eye, but her wand was currently in use keeping the Whomping Willow at bay. Kennedy....NOW would be a good time to do something...spells were coming right for her...
BOYS!

Helpless, Kurumi watched as a Kennedy protected Adam, but left her wide open for attack. BAM! The spell hit Kurumi and her wand tried to lurch out of her hands. Thankfully, the Gripping Charm had been placed on both her hands prior to this raid, but the spell still managed to knock it out of her hands and into the grass.

"My wand!" she shrieked, dropping to the ground to search for it in the grass.
She did see Adam had grabbed the flag, so Kurumi took a moment to look up at him.

"You RUN Adam Burn! Get out of hear and head back to where we just came from!"

Now...where was her wand?!

Kennedy managed to slightly smile, but soon turned to business mode again. "Ruuuuun, Adam, ruuun!" he said, pointing toward the lake.

"Finite! FINITE!" he said.

It was time to go, go, go. Come one lions, time to run out of here.

Wait, one lion wasn't moving. Why wasn't she moving?!

"Kurumi, time to go," he said. What was she looking for? Not her cookies? Did she bring her cookies along too?

Uh oh! Better turn her attention to this guy now. She struggled for a second to remember the spells name "Glis- Glisseo!" She ran towards him, pointing her wand at the ground by him. She was getting slightly overwhelmed now. HUFFLEPUFFS, WHERE ARE YOU!

Adam had never heard so many people screaming at him, he was beginning to get flustered an his face was turning red with panick. "Expelliarmus! Expelliarmus!" he yelled out frantically at the girl who was trying to ruin it all. But Kurumi was looking for her wand...He kept running as he kept throwing spells out from his wand.

"Kurumi!" he said, running toward her. "What are you doing?"

He had not seen what happened, as far as his mind went, he thought she was looking for her cookies.

"Protego!" he called, setting up a shield in front of him and Kurumi.

Glenn may not have been the best spell castor but she was pretty fast. Her wand flew out of her hand but she left it there and sprinted after him, leaving behind the others.

Her wild blonde hair flew out behind her and she ran, she was losing breathe. As she neared him, she dived. Her heart pounded. Had she done it, had she got him?

"It's my wand...I can't find my wand!" she said as she continued to search the grass. It hadn't dropped far...AHA! "Found it!"

Picking up her wand, Kurumi began to chase after Adam.

Now that the Puff had her attention turned towards Adam, Kurumi pointed her wand at her. "Silencio!"

But she didn't stop to wait and see what happened, instead she just kept running.

"Come ON," she shouted as she ran by him and back towards the lake.

"Oh no, you don't," he muttered. He sacrificed half of his snake-sanity by grouping up with Gryffindors. Now way it was going to end like this.

While still guarding Cookie Lion, he directed his was at the girl. "Immobulus!" just before she got to Adam.

Then he sprinted behind Kurumi.

Her wand! Why had she left her wand!

She stood there, unable to move. This was not good. Not good at all. She needed someone to do the counter curse. She felt so foolish. What a stupid decision to make Glenn!

Minerva couldn't believe what had happened. She looked at the puff standing very still she pointed her wand "finite" and then took off after the flags..

Logan ran down to the Whomping Willow, his kitten, Peeta, bounding after him. He sat in his usual spot that was a good distance away from it. He noticed Peeta wasn't stopping and was heading straight for the tree! What was that kitten doing?! He then noticed it was chasing something...small and...gray. It was a field mouse. "Peeta! No! Come back here!" Logan said. Peeta didn't turn around. Logan stood up, nervously looking at the tree. He knew if he went by it he was toast. But his kitten....he groaned. Then, the kitten was way too close to the tree. Merlin's beard. The next thing that happened made his mouth drop. The willow started swinging its branches at Peeta! Ohh no!
Logan didn't even hesitate. He sprinted towards Peeta, and took him in his arms. Then, he began to run as fast as he could back to his spot but a branch came and knocked him hard in his stomach, sending him flying backwards and a good distance from the tree. He landed with a thud and rolled over on his side, wincing in pain. He rolled on to his back, breathing heavily. He looked to his side and saw Peeta, arching his back and hissing at the tree. "You...stupid...cat...." Logan wheezed, before blacking out and fainting.

Taylor was walking outside when she saw Logan fly and land. She raced to her friend's side, freaking out. Taylor was tapping him on the shoulder trying to wake him up. "Logan, wake up... please." Tears threaten to come out but she held them back.

Logan blinked and saw a fuzzy face...he couldn't really make it out but the voice sounded very familiar. It sounded distant....but familiar. He lifted a hand and touched her face and ran it through her hair. Yup. That was Taylor...he was pretty sure. "Taylor??" he whispered.

Taylor felt and saw Logan touch her face and run his hand through her hair. She sighed in relief and hugged him.... gently of course, "Logan how are you feeling? Need to go to the nurse?" She was still worried some but with him awake, she was a little calm and tears weren't threatening to appear any more. "You scared me to death, monkey, when i saw you flying."

Logan hugged her back and sighed. "I...I'm fine I think I just need some water.." he said, trying to focus on Taylor. He shook his head and closed his eyes. He then opened them and everything was clear again. "I-I'm sorry about that...my stupid cat was..." he paused and sighed again and winced a little before lying back down on his back. He panted a little and looked up at Taylor, and suddenly all of his pain was gone. He didn't feel a thing..and he wasn't even at the Whomping Willow anymore. He was in......in...heaven by the feel of it..."Did I die, Taylor?" he asked. "Because there's an angel in front of me.." he said giggling.

Taylor digged into her bag and handed him a water bottle. "Here." She was still worried, "Are you sure you are ok, Logan?" Her face was consorted into part scared, part worried and part relieved expression. When he asked if he died since there is an angel in front of him, she looked around them and then back at him. Taylor put her hand on his forehead and cheek to check for a fever, not finding one, she looked at him with confusion written across her face, "Are you hallucinating, Logan? Did you hit your head really hard? Maybe we should take you to the nurse to check you out...."
