Sophie was still watching the game when she heard Alyssa's comment about the first years. She smiled widely and looked over at the older badger. That was so nice of her! "Thank you, Alyssa! We all love to help out the house!" She said clapping her hands together. "Don't we, guys??" She looked around at Ella and now Glenn, who had just joined them.

Then she turned her head around to watch the match once again. Bouncing up and down as the players made some pretty cool moves.

Ella smiled widely from Sophie to Alyssa, nodding her head happily. She really did enjoy helping out the house and really wanted to win the house cup. She turned her attention to the match, impressed with the players' knowledge about all the different subjects. She smiled thinking she'd know that much soon enough. "Good Job Guys!" She yelled. She thought that was a good cheer because it didn't really single out which team she was talking to...she wasn't really cheering for one or the other.

Harvey came to watch the gobstones match and was about to sit down when he saw someone sitting alone.. and he couldnt have that now could he.. so he went and sat down next to her "Well.. why am I not surprised to see you here.. how are you feeling? " he asked smiling as he looked at her..

Minerva saw the group waving her over so she went over. "Hey everyone. I can't believe how many of you are here. Last term I might have been one of the only puffs to come to these. Are you all thinking about playing. We always need players." Some were saying about the house Quidditch team. "Oh thanks I am excited, since I really didn't think I would make it. Nate don't worry you will make it next term. Keep up with your school work this term and practice your flying. You will do great." She looked at the match. Hmm wonder who to even cheer for she thought. Just then she saw Harvey. "Hey Harvey how are you. Do you mind if we sit with all the Puff I know your use to it." she smiled at him. "Of course I'm hear silly, I had to get a refresher before we play, which is probably going to be against Claws first since these two are playing right now." she gave him a grin. "Well so far so good, but I have my medicine in my bag just in case. I really wasn't expecting so many people here."

Harvey smiled as she requested them sitting with the puffs.. ad he couldnt help but chuckle at her comment of him being used to sitting with puffs.. well... he spent most of his day with puffs.. so it was true in a way.. "Nope no problem we can sit with them sure.." he smiled and he knew what she meant when she mentioned puffs first gobstone match would be against claws.. oh boy. so he nodded as she spoke.. "Well I am glad its going well.. yes its good to have it with you.." he then looked around "Yes there are quite a few out here.. and you are doing well.. keep it up." he beamed as he looked at her... she would get better and he knew she would.. he then looked out to the gobstone match.. it was a tough one to call.. Slytherin were in the lead for now.. but Gryffindor seemed to wake up.. so it was early stages yet.

"So are you going to play?" she had to ask him. "We haven't been without the other two in a long time. How are things going with you and Ame. You know your really cute together." she turned and looked at him. "Harvey you don't hate me for all of this, do you?" she knew he acted ok, but she also knew he hid things well. She turned back to the match and took mental notes on some of the moves they were making.

Harvey looked at Minnie as she spoke to him "Er.. I might play." he answered her question "Yes we havent.. so might as well make the most of this time.. I'm kidding... er... things are going well.. with me and Ame.." he smiled when she said that they were cute together "Thanks.." he thought a bit about her next question.. he looked at her "No I dont hate you... I never have hated you... just shocked and things at first... but I am getting used to it.. " he said as he smiled and she watched the game.. it would take time to fully get used to the idea that she was with Justin.. but thats the way it was to be.. he then looked at the game but not really watching it.. his mind was thinking.

She'd been there the whole time... but was incredibly silent and kept to herself as she watched the match begin. Already she was slowly beginning to get used to the fact that she was now Gryffindor Head of House... and therefore needed AND wanted to show her support for her students.

However as she had been sitting there, Seren couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. She was nervous. Not only for herself, but for Gryffindor in general. More than anything, she wanted to be the one to lead the Lion's to victory, to support them in their triumphs and to console them in their defeats. Hence why she was here... not that she wouldn't have been otherwise. Of course she would have been here!

Watching Slytherin take the early lead was particularly unsettling, but soon enough the Lions were back in with a fighting chance.

"Keep at it! ... roll them stones Kurumi!" she cheered on her Prefect.

School Clown and Prankster? That role seemed to fit a person in Gryffindor or Slytherin much better than a Hufflepuff, but what could Oakey do about it. Now he would need to meet Aaron, if he agreed to work with Oakey they could practice a routine before their houses first Quidditch Match.

He nodded and agreed with Alyssa, No doubt Hadley is the best Head of House in all of Hogwarts right now. He turned and saw Bentley who had been sitting near them for some time now and quickly added but but uh, The other Heads are good too. Isn't that right Alyssa?

he watched some more of the action happen on the Gobstones arena and continued to cheer what he believed were Gobstone cheers.

HIT THAT BIG STONE DOWN THERE SNAKES! He jerked his finger in the direction of the larger stone at the end of the playing field.
He then cupped his hands over his mouth to amplify this next one
IT WAS A GREAT TRY ANYWAYS GRYFFIES! YOU CAN RECOVER!

Yeah those cheers sounded Gobstoney.

Minerva smiled while not taking her eyes off the game. "Thanks Harv you are a really great guy, you know that don't you." she put her hand on his and gave it a friendly squeeze before putting her hands back on her lap. "So where is Ame right now? COME ON LIONS"

Harvey was watching the game and Minnie told him that he was a great guy.. he smiled at this and looked at her.. "No worries Mins.. thats who I am... er.... ok.. I guess I am a great guy.. well I didnt know it before.. but if you say so" he said smiling.. and he watched as she gave his hand a friendly squeeze.. he smiled more at this.. "I havent seen her today.. she is probably in the common room or outdoors.." he said as Minnie yelled at the game.. well he was glad to see Minnie was coming back out.. and he chuckled at this thought.. she was getting better..

"So who do you want to win Harvs?" Minerva asked him. She glanced over to him and smiled "How does it feel to be on the Quidditch team? Are you glad we made that deal."

Harvey looked at her as she spoke to him "Well it could go either way right now but" he looked around and leaned in towards her and whispered to her so that no-one could hear him "Well after Slytherin last year.. I want the Lions to win this year." he said as he smiled.. as she glanced over to him "Well its kind of nerve-racking as I wasnt expecting to me on the team when I tried out.. Er maybe... that is if you puffs leave me alone and concentrate on that match.." he chuckled as he said this.

"Oh you will be fine. We could practice on our brooms a bit if you want. I know Justin would go out with us as well." She watched as the next move was made. Hmm that was an interesting move. She made a mental note of it. "Wonder if Ame would want to practice as well."

Nate was watching the match very hard. He was studying every move. He wanted to learn how to play. So that meant he would have to play for his house in a match. Hopefully he would be good at it. Unlike tryouts. I mean they were ok, but they weren't the best. He improved though because the first tryout he went to he had 0 points. On the second one he had either 2 or 3. He didn't remember. He was studying very closely to see what it was like.

Harvey nodded as she spoke "Yeah we could practice.. yeah he would.. " he said as he watched her watch the next move "Well she might want to practice or she might sit and watch us.." well me actually he said in his head... he remembered what she said about watching him play a sport..well Quidditch and Gobstones were sports. so she was bound to be watching him..

Seren continued to watch, slowly, somehow working her way to perch on the edge of her seat, as opposed to IN her seat. "Come on Lions keep your chins up!" ... don't give in.

But Merlin, where was everyone?! It wasn't going to do them any good if only the Slytherins turned up for the game.



She wasn't really paying attention to what was going on around her, nor did she really care. So long as there was no yelling or blood, then all was well, right? Right. BUT the one thing she did hear, was Oakey's statement on the quality of the Head of Houses.

Eyebrows narrowing, she turned in her seat to face the Hufflepuff. "You might want to be careful with what you say around here. I'm not about to reprimand you for preferring your own Head of House, but I cannot say the same for Professor Vindictus or Lafay."

"Nate are you enjoying the game? I played last year. Are you planning on playing this year? We can always use players." Minerva smiled at Nate hoping he would play.

Minerva smiled "You know I like seeing you happy. It's so nice to see you and Ame getting along so well. It's actually weird. With Ronnie I was so jealous and didn't even know it, but everything you two were near each other it drove me nuts. With Ame though I just love seeing you to together and I love seeing you happy." she hoped he would understand what she meant.

Oakey watched one of those stone thingies came rather close to him he was prepared to duck but the stone went the other direction and landed near the Larger stone thingy.

HEY! WATCH IT SIERRA! He barked! Then it occurred to him who he yelled at. I MEAN... NICE THROW! ALMOST GOT ME THOUGH

He turned his attention back to Professor Bentley who had scolded him for liking his Head of House more than the other Professors. He shivered at the thought of what Vindictus or Lafay would have done if they were here.

I've nothing against Herbology Ma'am, It's an interesting class, one of my favorites actually he tried redeeming himself by sucking up to her. Oh and POTIONS and QUIDDITCH IS A GREAT GAME! He emphasized those parts and looked around just in case the other Head's decided to show up at that moment. Wouldn't want to get on any of their bad sides especially those two.

Right time to get back to cheering.

Harvey listened as she spoke about Ame and Ronnie and him being happy.. "Well maybe since you are with Justin now... you dont mind me being with Ame.." he said as he thought about her next words.. she loved seeing him happy "I know you do.. lets see.." he said as he thought about her words still ringing in his ears.. she loved seeing him happy.. she loved seeing him happy.. as he resumed watching the game..

Ella turned her attention away from the game and watched as her fellow Hufflepuff tried to redeem himself to Professor Bentley. She burst into laughter and then, with a nervous look at Professor Bentley, covered her mouth with her hand and began to fake cough. She wasn't trying to be rude but her housemate was quite hysterical. She turned her attention back to the game, trying to wipe the smile off her face.

"Professor Bentley is truly a sports enthusiast and is very proud of her house too. She was at every game that Ravenclaw played last year. I wonder how, she feels being Head of Gryffindor? I mean she must feel conflicted. I wonder what is she going to do when Ravenclaw plays Gryffindor in both Gobstones and Quidditch. She can't exactly cheer for Ravenclaw but at the same time it must be hard to change affliations overnight either." Alyssa asked Oakey.

"Yeah all the other Heads are cool too. Professor Hadley always turns up for our games even though I know that she really isn't as interested in the game or even knows what the rules of the game is. But she's always there and it makes us want to win more."

"So why did your Dad ban you from playing Quidditch this year?"Alyssa asked him. "I heard that you're a pretty decent player. What really did happen last summer, Oakey? You can trust me. I won't tell anyone." Alyssa leaned over to whisper into his ear.

Huh? subjects? ...
"What one teaches should not have any bearing on how good a Head of House they are dear... they are two completely different matters." And why was the boy... scared? She wan't about to bite his head off, she had merely warned him that though she didn't care what he thought--because everyone was entitled to their own opinion, other's might not see things in the same way.



Seren raised an eyebrow at the Hufflepuff girl. Mmhhmm...



Merlin!

Was she invisible? She was sitting RIGHT THERE!.. within earshot.
"Well Miss Potter, while I will not stop supporting Ravenclaw, they are BOTH my teams now and I will support both of them equally. As for when they play each other, well I haven't gotten that far yet, but either way I can't lose."
That was probably the most optimistic way of looking at it. If Ravenclaw won, then she would console her Lions if the Lions won then she would console the Ravenclaws, but she would celebrate both of the Houses. Because each House was worth celebrating in their own right.
"I will always be loyal to Ravenclaw, just as I am now loyal to Gryffindor. Nobody said I had to make a choice to favour one over the other." Though she did want her Lions to win, and they would.. in time, they just had some work to do internally before they could achieve that.

What's so funny? He asked Ella, weren't they done laughing at the fact that it was a ton of Hufflepuffs at the Gryffindor/Slytherin game?




Really, Bentley was a Ravenclaw...she didn't seem crazy like all the other Ravenclaws Oakey had met up to this point. How can a former Ravenclaw become a Gryffindor Head of House anyways? Eh, it didn't matter what was in the past was in the past.

Ha-Had Alyssa overheard his conversation with Nate? Oakey took a break from the cheering for some time and sat quietly trying to figure out a way to lie or drop the subject on Harvey banning Oakey from playing Quidditch. After some time and thought. Oakey finally spoke up, Harvey, I mean my Foster Father was horribly hurt a few years ago at some Quidditch tryouts. He didn't want me to get hurt so he told me no Quidditch. That's how it is really. that was the truth. Hopefully Alyssa wouldn't realize that the accident and him being banned were years apart.






I-That-Wasn-I-Mean. Oakey stumbled on his words trying to correct himself. He didn't mean to say that what each of the Head's taught was what helped him pick favorites. Sorry Professor, I didn't mean to upset you. was all he got out.

Want some help cheering for your Gryffies? He politely asked Professor Bentley. But keep in mind I still need to cheer for the Snakes He grinned and continued speaking It's hard to choose who to cheer for when your house isn't the one playing.

Alyssa quickly apologized to her Herbology Professor,"Ooops!! Sorry Professor. I didn't mean any insult in what I just said to Oakey. I honestly didn't even know that what I was saying could be heard by you. But ever since I heard that you were the Gryffindor's Head of House, I've often wondered about that. So thanks for setting that me straight on that matter. Oh I didn't doubt that you would support the house you're Head of. I was just wondering how you were going to cheer for both at the same time. May I join you the next time Gryffindor plays Ravenclaw? Maybe I can help cheer for both of them too."Alyssa asked.

'Wow! Professor Bentley really has got great hearing.' Alyssa thought to herself. 'It's a good thing I didn't say anything bad about her.'



"Oh I see. I guess that's understandable. I had a friend, Simon, who's Dad forbade him to play Quidditch too because it was dangerous for him. But back then Simon was a Prince and heir to the throne, so that's to be expected."Alyssa told Oakey.

"But what exactly happened last summer, Oakey? Somehow I don't think that not being allowed to play has anything to do with why you told Nessie that you were in the States, when somehow I suspect you actually weren't. Really Oakey, you can trust me. I promise not to tell anyone, and I think that you might actually feel better if someone else knew your secret."Alyssa whispered to him, not relenting a bit. She knew that something was bothering Oakey and although she knew that it was really none of her business, she really did want to help her friend.

"But if you don't want to tell me, then I'll stop asking you. I know that you've only just known me for a couple of months, so it's understandable if you don't trust me."Alyssa told

Then she realized what Oakey said about supporting Slytherin."Oi! why do you say that you have to support Slytherin? Are you going to support them instead of me....I mean us...when Hufflepuff plays against us?"Alyssa asked him surprised at what she was hearing.
