Herbology Lesson Two

There was a crisp, cool breeze outside, indicating that the holidays weren't too far away now. The leaves blow across the ground, racing you down to the greenhouses where Professor Bentley is waiting in Greenhouse Three.

Inside, Professor Bentley is standing beside two long rows of puffapod plants, each with pods bursting with seeds, just waiting to be harvested. Most of the students would recognise them from the previous year ... how time has flown! Stools are arranged along the perimeter of the raised flower bed, waiting for the students to be seated.

Kurumi couldn't wait for the next Herbology lesson, but she also was more nervous than usual as she made her way towards the greenhouses. Kurumi tugged on the sleeves of her black robes, adjusted her crimson and gold tie, and shoved her right hand in her pocket. A few moments later, Kurumi removed a mask and promptly put it over her nose and mouth, pulling the elastic bands behind her ears and brushing her hand down to cover them up.

Then, and only then, did Kurumi make her way into the greenhouse where her eyes widened. Puffapods...she SHOULD have guessed. Kurumi squeak!sneezed and then made her way towards her Head of House.

"Good day *squeak!sneeze* Professor Bentley."

Beezus walked to the Greenhouse with small steps, she kept pulling the strap of her backpack on her shoulder. She was excited for their second Herbology Lessson yet she was feeling slightly feverish. Her eyes started watering and she was feeling a hot inside her body, t'was like the hotness was stuck inside her and couldn't come out.

However, when she went inside, the eaglette tried so hard to be enthusiastic and managed a smile and nod towards the few students already there before facing their Professor. "Good day Professor Bentley," Beezus chirped as she bowed a bit. And when she pivoted to proceed to her work area, she caught sight of puffapods. 'Were these the ones we planted last term?' she asked herself mentally.

Kendra was looking forward to Herbology today, it was her second lesson, and this time she had read up on more information regarding the subject. She had completed her homework on time, which pleased her no end, and was looking forward to the contents of the next lesson. Strolling into the greenhouse, she greeted the Professor. 'Morning Professor Bentley' She smiled

Oh, one of her favourite lessons! Zhenya skipped to Greenhouse three where she walked in and recognised the puffapods. She smiled up at the Professor and said "Hi Professor Bentley! How are you?"

The. She took a seat And swung around to the front so she could see properly.

Dragging her feet into the greenhouse, Louisa was holding her shoulder bag in her hand instead of hanging it on her body. She had this hunched back and dark circles under her eyes, everything indicated that she'd been attacked by a troll.

She wasn't, though. Louisa was just miserable.

Nodding her head at Professor Bentley and croaking, "Good day." for the professor. It was another sad day for herself. She was convinced that eventually, she'll die. Might as well catch up to as much classes as possible instead of going to heaven uneducated.

Adjusting his tie and tucking on his shirt, Daichi made his way for the second lesson of Herbology. The weather was colder than usual and he figured that in no time snow would be falling from the skies too. But the Slytherin had accidently left his house scarf in his dormitory and going back to grab it would mean he would be late.

Entering the greenhouse, Daichi immediately saw the puffapods they had worked with last year. He smiled a little to himself as his eyes went to the Professor standing near them. "Hello Professor Bentley!" he said cheerfully and gave her a wave with his hand.

He then walked to a place for him to stand and as he looked to see who it was he jumped a little seeing the mask. Oh! it was Kurumi! "ehm...are you okay?" he asked the Prefect as he pointed at the mask...

was this a new kind of fashion or something? O_o

Elise bounced towards the greenhouses, a huge grin splitting across her face and her eyes twinkling with laughter. She was in a good mood, that much was obvious. She'd had a great morning, and Herbology for first period wasn't going to bring her down today.

Entering the greenhouse, the first person she saw was Professor Bentley herself. "Professor Bentley," she beamed. "Good morning!"

Taking a seat next to the puffapods, she wondered briefly if they were the same ones that they'd planted the previous term. They probably were, it'd explain their adorableness.

Janice skipped to the Greenhouse as usual. "Hello, professor!" She said while she passed her. "How are the plants doing?" She then took a stool and sat, waiting for the class to start.

Aurora walked down to the greenhouses, not smiling as much as usual. She was really stressed right now... stupid exam. Anyway, herbology. Much more fun. Cheer up. She plastered a smile onto her face as the entered the Greenhouse. "Hello, Professor Bentley!" Then she glanced at the puffapods, "Oh my... they've grown so much!" she exclaimed as she took a seat.

Selena wasn't going to let anything bring her down. She just hoped there were no creepy vines this time. Selena finished off her chocolate bar as she skipped towards the greenhouse and shoved the wrapper into her bag. She'd toss it out later. Selena tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled brightly before entering the greenhouse where the professor and some students already were.

"Gooooooooooood Morning, Professor Bentley!" Selena exclaimed with a wave of her hand... and somewhat her arm. "How are you doing? How is Stumpy doing?" Selena asked, regarding her epic fire plant. He was supposed to be a good plant after all... unless he BURNED someone, then obviously, he needed better manners. "HEELLOOO EVERYONE!" Selena added, with a cheerful smile. Eh, look at some of the downers, they needed a smile.

Or to get back their mouths so they could smile because clearly the Gryffindor prefect had just lost her mouth and nose.

Amethyst smiled as she skipped to the Greenhouse, racing the leaves as she went. It was a bit cool outside, but her robes were far warm enough. She entered the Greenhouse in a energetic walk. She smiled, nodding to Professor Bentley. "Good Morning, Professor." She walked to her seat after giving her favorite professor time to reply to her greeting.

Ella walked down to Greenhouse Three, shivering a bit as the winter air was definitely starting to creep up on Hogwarts. She entered the greenhouse with a smile in the Professor's direction. "Good morning!" She said happily as she found a stool. She was really looking forward to today's lesson and observed the rows of plants in front of her carefully from her seat.

Stacy Malfoy happily walk into the Greenhouse and said "Good morning, Professor" while sitting down.

Nate walked in to where they were having herbology. Nate said "Good morning professor Bently."

Tayla let her hair down and enjoyed the cool breeze as she walked to another Herbology class.

"Good morning, Professor Bentley!" Tayla said with a smile when she arrived at Greenhouse Three. "How are you today?" She sat on one of the stools and waited for class to begin.

Isabelle walked into the greenhouses cheerfully. She was excited for another herbology class. It was one of her favorites, plus Professor Bentley was super nice. She took a look at the puffpods as she walked in. Fun!!! "Hello Professor Bentley," she smiled as she addressed the awesome teacher. "How are you doing today?" Hopefully well. Because teachers who were doing well were always teachers who were nice and cheerful during lessons.

As Lily entered the greenhouse, she lowered her scarf that had been covering her mouth and nose from the cold. "Hello Professor Bentley." she said politely as she walked over to find a seat. Well, these plants are interesting... She thought once she was settled. She had never seen these before, but she was in a good mood, so she was willing to work with just about anything today.

So after dancing around and singing to his baby Fireseed Bush, Auggie was a tad embarrassed as he stepped into the Greenhouse classroom. He wasn't sure if Professor Bentley had seen him do it or not but he knew Kurumi had--she, he could handle. If his Head of House had seen him he would likely pass out right on the spot.

"Good morning Professor Bentley."

Walking into the classroom, Auggie took a regular seat beside Kurumi. He noticed her mask and wondered if he was sick. Just incase he scooted a bit away from her, enough not to seem rude, and then waited for the lesson to begin.

Sophie made her way to Greenhouse Three with a smile on her face. Herbology was fun when you could actually do the stuff, and here at Hogwarts she could! Yay!

She entered the greenhouse and saw that a couple of students were already there. "Good day, Professor Bentley!" she waved at the witch as she walked up to sit on a stool by Ella and Tayla.

Puffapod plants, the puffs should enjoy this class.
Olivia entered the room, she had missed the first Herbology lesson because she was sick. And these plants were new to her so she was excited to get started. "Good Morning Professer Bently" said Olivia, and she slid into the nearest open seat, giving a quick side grin to the person sitting beside her.

Oakey made his way into the Herbology class, smile in tow. Walking past Professor Bentley he said. Good day Professor Bentley. That cheering we were doing was really fun. I can't wait for the Quidditch games to start to really put it to the test. He nodded then walked to an open stool, waiting for the class to begin.
